so this is a new thing i'm doing. if you're confused, check this out! this is the first headcannon i've got :)

a break up between reader and a footballer

reader’s anxious, they’re more new to the league and so they’re still building a name for themselves

the first year they’re a bench player for the team

they date the other player

things don’t work out cause r doesn’t want to go public bc they don’t want their personality to be based around the fact that they’re dating an important footballer

they go back and forth for months on whether they can reveal the relationship to the public

tons of small arguments and fights leads to them slowly getting distant

they eventually break up when r goes to another team (maybe an opposing one?) as a starter though, cause they’re finally getting better at the game

reader is really anxious though after the move cause it’s a new environment and everything

it sucks for them to be alone and they see their ex doing okay and stuff and it just brings sadness.

im thinking leah for this one just cause i can incorporate the arnold clark cup dub or the euros dub, or maybe an arsenal tournament win into this but it could be any player really

i have some ideas on how to end it but i’m not gonna give spoilers here :).

“Ughhhh” Joey exclaimed to himself “that stupid necromantic Scott always has to get in the way of things first he cursed me and now he tried to destroy my house?!” He grabbed his vase putting in carefully up on the shelf once again “ I swear to god I wil make him regret iTHT” a buzzing feeling began on his side and it wasn’t like the normal buzz he got sometimes it tickled.badly. “AHAH” he laughed in surprise “WHAHT THE HECHCK” he laughed he felt his knees buckle and he fell on the floor stil laughing clutching his stomach. “MAHAKE IHTH STHOOP” he squirmed and wiped his hands on now both his sides but nothing would stop the ticklish buzz “AHAHAHA” he heard foot steps and not a second later Scott was standing above him. “Hi Joey what got u laughing so hard?” “DHIDT U DOHOH THIHIS?” “Yeah I thought i needed to avenge Lauren that u so rudely threw off a tower” “AHAHA SHE SLHIPPHED” “awh now we both know that’s not true fire frost witch” Joey felt the ticklish buzz travel to his hips and he let out a silent scream. “Oh looks like we found your death spot” “AHAHAHAHASCHOOT” “that’s my name don’t wear it out” Joey didn’t answer due to him laughing so hard “ quit a ticklish one arent u?” “NOHOHOH” “no?” Scott leaned down to his ears “I would say u are a ticklish little cutie” Joey jumped at the word “oh does the word tickle make u jump? Tickletickletickletickle tktktktkt” Joey laughed harder if that was even possible by now. Seeing he was reaching his limit Scott took up his shirt and blew a big raspberry right in the middle of joeys stomach on his belly button and then he gently nibbled on joeys hips. Joey had tears rolling down his cheeks as he surrendered to laughter not even fighting back and finally after 5 minutes of this Scott let go of him and left. It took a few minutes for Joey to get himself together catching his breath but when he finally did he slowly stood u “ don’t think your getting away with this I’ll get u back!” He shouted
