Hello! Here's the react!

ROs React to Someone Asking MC Out (Crushing and Selationship Stage)

Alceste

Crushing - Alceste is going to march right over and insert himself into the conversation. He's gonna be a lil annoying and pushy about it, but it'll get the person asking MC out away from MC, so he doesn't really care.

Relationship - He's go over to MC the same way and wrap his arm around their waist and just kiss them to leave them breathless. He'll then look up at the person, if they're still there, and raise an eyebrow questioningly!

Larisilla

Crushing - If looks could kill... She's glaring daggers at the person but won't interfere unless MC looks like they're in trouble. If she's in a really bad mood, she's butt into the conversation and challenge the person to a duel.

Relationship - She'll slide up to you and slip her arm around MC's waist/shoulders and just look at the person. If they still have balls to ask MC out, she's just gonna go "they're taken" and drag you away.

Dionys

Crushing - Dionys will seethe in silence. He might look calm and pleasant on the outside, but he's already pictured 30 ways to dispose of the person. He won't move from his spot unless MC looks like they need help.

Relationship - Dionys is a bit jealous, but is confident in MC. He might slip himself into the conversation to judge the person and then drop some pretty truthful but hurtful things about the person on them, if they don't leave.

Somnia

Crushing - She's in the corner with Dionys, but she's not really plotting the person's demise, but more worried about if MC likes the person. She'll watch them carefully before deciding whether or not to go over there.

Relationship - Her coming over is 50/50 and it depends on her mood. If she had a good day, she'll stay where she is. She trusts MC. If she had a bad day though, she'd go right on over and nicely, but bluntly, tell the person that MC's taken and to "get lost".

Enyo

Crushing - Enyo deadass probably doesn't even notice. Parties are so exciting for them, they're busy doing anything and everything else than watching MC. That said, if they do see it, they're going to interrogate MC later and be all nosy about it, but deny being interested in it!

Relationship - If Enyo sees, they're going over to MC and quite literally just drag them away from the person. If the person follows, Enyo might get a little testy and decide now is a good time for knife throwing practice, which MC will have to quick stop!

ROs families react to RO and MC's baby

The Emeraudes (Alceste's family) would be so happy to see Alceste and MC's baby! Claudia and Regina would be happy to give advice to MC and Alceste as Alceste's siblings entertain the baby. Eirene would be very stressed over the baby, freaking out when it sneezes or rolls over. Orin is going to manhandle the baby, causing Eirene to lose her shit. Lyssa's really the only one I would personally trust out of the Emeraudes with a baby (minus Claudia and Regina)

The Cornalines (Larisilla's family) would be happy, if not a little surprised, to see Larisilla and MC's baby. They really didn't expect Larisilla to become a parent at like... all and, honestly, they're not sure how long she'll last before she's had enough since she doesn't like kids. Deimus and Eunomia had really come to understand that they probably won't have grandchildren, so Larisilla's baby is pretty surprising. That said, Eunomia is the best with the baby, fawning over it and being a good grandmother. Deimus is an asshole and will use this to tell Larisilla she could've become the next Head of the Council if she just put her mind to it. Lachesis is pleased to see/meet her nibling. They won't see much of her and vice versa since she's in the temple but she finds the kid cute.

The Topazes (Dionys' family) would be thrilled to meet Dionys and MC's baby! I'm talking like a whole ass party, thrilled. Erato is excited to have a grand-nibling and spends the whole time weaving an intricate tapestry MC and Dionys can hang in the baby's nursery. Galatea is very interested in the baby. She and the baby would grow up to be relatively close friends since their age difference isn't too far apart (7-10 years, I'd guess). Atlas and Carya are shocked to hear Dionys had a child, although they do miss meeting the baby since they're off doing research. I'll be honest, Atlas and Carya won't be super present in the baby's life, similar to how they weren't a huge presence in Dionys and Galatea's life as they were growing up.

There's only one Disthene alive besides Somnia and that's her mother Ianassa. Ianassa is so happy to meet her grandchild. Part of her honestly didn't think she'd live long enough to see it because of her weak constitution and poor health. Ianassa is probably one of the best grandparents for MC's baby since child-rearing comes naturally to her. She does express regret that Somnia's father, Mache, isn't able to meet the baby, but she's happy enough to focus on the baby. She enjoys knitting and will knit the baby blankets, hats, little booties, etc.

... So I can't really tell you how Enyo's family would react since it's pretty spoilery and actually changes based on what the choices you make... But, I will say, that most of the time, they're either indifferent to the baby or don't care at all.

They would all be surprised but happy!

Alceste and Enyo are two who are most eager to return the favor, usually taking up most of MC's time in the morning.

That's not to say Larisilla, Dionys, and Somnia wouldn't return the favor. They would certainly love to do that, but they have a stronger work ethic than the two above, so they'd appreciate it and thank MC for it later at night.

The ROs Reacting to MC Falling Asleep on Their Shoulder (crushing vs relationship)

Alceste (crushing) - Alceste loves this kind of stuff. He'll 100% let you sleep on his shoulder. He really doesn't mind. Definitely has a lil blush though, if you wake up fast enough or on your own. Otherwise, he'll wake you up in about an hour out of concern for your neck. He's nice about, just nudging you awake.

Alceste (relationship) - Pretty much the same as crushing, but he'll move you to lay on top of him pretty fast. He finds it to be more comfortable for the both of you and you're in luck! He's really comfortable to cuddle! Don't be surprised if you wake up laying on his chest and see that he's also taking a lil nap! You might have to wake him up and not the other way around.

Larisilla (crushing) - If you opened up Google and went "Google, show me how to make Larisilla shut up immediately?", this is your answer. She has no idea how to respond. Dare I say, you've rendered her dumbstruck? Her next actions will all depend on if you're alone or not.

If you are alone (so just the two of you), she'll let you stay where you are. She'll probably be a little stiff since she Won't Move, terrified of waking you, but she won't complain and if she does, she blames it on training. Even if you haven't seen her train in like 3 days...

If you aren't alone, I'm sorry to say, she's waking you up. Now, normally, she would shove you off of her, so it does mean Something when she just shakes you awake and tells you to go sleep somewhere else. Also, ignore the blush on her face. She's not blushing! It's just hot in here!

Larisilla (relationship) - In a relationship, Larisilla is 100x times nicer. She'll let you sleep on her shoulder for as long as you want. If you guys have space (i.e on a couch) and she's in the right mood, she'll even stretch out and let you lay on her. Might even sneak in a lil forehead kiss while you're asleep. Will be very aggressive to people who are loud and might wake you up (it's just Enyo). She wants her favorite royal to get some nice naps in!

Dionys (crushing) - Dionys would silently freak out. Not because he doesn't like you, but because he likes you A Lot. He shifts around and fidgets quite a bit, so you'll probably end up waking up within the hour and he'll feel bad. If you don't wake up from him moving around almost constantly, he'll let you rest your head on his shoulder for a bit before waking you up nicely and telling you to find somewhere better to sleep. The whole time, though, he's stiff as a statue.

Dionys (relationship) - I'm going to assume by now you'd have gotten used to his fidgeting, so you won't wake up if he moves. He, too, is used to falling asleep at random times. Might move so you can lay on his chest or in a different cuddling position. Won't stop his work and doesn't really mind at this point. Like in the crushing stage, he will wake you up in about an hour so your neck won't get sore.

Somnia (crushing) - Somnia is so thrilled and overjoyed. She loves cuddling! Will shift around to help you get comfortable. She keeps a healer's schedule, so there's a pretty high chance she'll also take a lil nap. If she doesn't, she'll wake you up in a bit to give you something for the developing crick in your next or she'll just move you to the best position for sleeping without getting a crook in your neck.

Somnia (relationship) - You're in luck because Somnia is the best cuddler of the group. She's soft and warm, so laying on her is the best. Will definitely fall asleep on you too and just make a cuddle pile. Otherwise, very similar to her crushing stage, just with more cuddles and kisses!

Enyo (crushing) - Remember how I said Enyo would draw on your face if you fell asleep? Yeah, they're doing that still. Enyo really doesn't mind. Still super happy and overjoyed at the fact that you're willing to sleep on their shoulders. Watch out for hidden blades though. They won't wake you up on their own and will just hope you have somewhere to go soon. If you do rest your head on them for too long, they Will nudge you off of them.

Enyo (relationship) - Still wants to draw on your face, but will restrain themselves so you won't get upset. Will move you to be more comfortable (laying on their chest). They're super boney, though, and it's pretty uncomfortable. They most likely won't wake you up, so that's more of a you problem to get up so your neck won't hurt. Will place their freezing cold hands on your bare back and laugh as you jump and get startled by their ice cold hands.

Alceste - Dom, usually, but will sub (and should sub). He mainly is a Top since that's what most of his relationships have him as, but he can be persuaded to Bottom.

Larisilla - Pure Dom. She has a heavy preference towards Topping, but can be convinced to Bottom.

Dionys - Pure Switch. Pure Vers. This man isn't picky!

Somnia - Technically, sub-leaning switch. She's more middle of the road between switch and sub. Somnia prefers to Bottom. She'll try Topping, but she might not be very good at it!

Enyo - Pure Switch. M!Enyo prefers to Top, but will Bottom. F!Enyo prefers to Bottom, but will Top if asked to.

Alceste: Alceste is Ready for this moment. He's the oldest of 4, so he has experience with babies! He'll be very excited and minimally nervous! He's going to want to show the baby off to everyone.

Larisilla: How you managed to get Larisilla to have a child with you, I'll never know. She honestly probably shouldn't have children since she doesn't like them, but she's a mom now so... She's very stressed out and anxious. She doesn't want to be a bad parent, but she's really just not cut out for it.

Dionys: Make this man a father! I swear to god! Do it! It's the best decision you'll make forever! Dionys is very happy and excited to have a child with MC! He's very attentive to small details like what clothes and bedding to buy. You know those like influencer moms who make their babies homemade organic baby food? Yeah, that's him! He's also going to try to introduce flash cards to your child. You don't know how to tell him the baby's still... well, a baby and won't understand what he's getting at.

Somnia: Somnia would be pleasantly happy and a bit nervous to have a child with MC! She would be pretty much like any mother who has a planned pregnancy. She's a bit nervous on if she'll be a good mom, but she's fine! She'll enjoy working the fields/making medicine with a baby strapped to her back!

Enyo: You are braver than I. I'm not sure if Enyo can be trusted around a baby! A child, possibly, they have more of a self-preservation instinct Enyo seems to lack, but probably not a baby. Still, Enyo would be a good parent. A bit of an unconventional one, but good! You will have to stop them from trying to teach the child how to throw knives at 3 years old, though!

Alceste: Nasty whore man (affectionate). He has quite a bit of experience! I would say he's mostly a Dom since that's what he's used to, but could definitely Sub (it would be glorious). His favorite position would be laying on his side and hitting it from the back.

Larisilla: Also another RO with a lot of experience! She's a Dom, 100% percent. I don't think there's a way to make her be a Sub at all, LMAO! Her favorite position would be doggy style or cowgirl, whichever gives her the most control!

Dionys: He's not a virgin, but he's not as experienced as Alceste and Larisilla! He's a Switch, he doesn't really care what role he takes! His favorite position is missionary but with his partner's legs over his shoulders. I hope you guys are flexible!

Alceste

🍕 - Alceste's favorite food is probably some kind of roasted game-y meat dish. Think like venison or pheasant.

❤️ - Probably when he went to the Shorelands with his family after Orin was born. He had begged his mothers to take him and his sisters to the Shorelands and they said no, but after Orin was born, they surprised him and his sisters and took them there.

🌂 - I was going to say romance, maybe, but decided against it. He's right where he should be.

🍎 - Fantastic. Claudia and Regina are great mothers to Alceste and his siblings.

🧠 - He's so nuanced, he honestly seems to have a life of his own! Every time I sit down to write him, I learn more about him that I didn't even know about LMAO!

💎 - Maybe if there's demand for a sequel, but not in the first book.

💀 - Snakes. Alceste HATES snakes.

🎓- About... a month or so? He's newer than some of the other characters!

Larisilla

🍕 - Fruity Chocolatey Desserts. Larisilla has a horrible sweet tooth, probably worse than Enyo!

❤️ - When her mother got her her first sword. Larisilla was probably about 12 and she was so happy.

🌂 - Something that involves fighting. A more serious fantasy with more fighting would be ideal.

🍎 - Larisilla and Eunomia get along fantastically. Larisilla and Deimus? Bad. Horrible. 0/10.

🧠 - She's easy to write. Writing for her is so smooth it's like water. Unfortunately, it's easier for me to write her than come up scenarios for her.

💎 - Haha, so... slight spoiler! Larisilla doesn't die, but you can lose her permanently from the group.

💀 - Spiders.

🎓- About the same time as Alceste. They were created together like the worst pair of twins to be thought of ever LMAO

Dionys

🍕 - Honestly, I'm not sure! I don't think Dionys has one.

❤️ - Graduating from the Hall of Scholars or becoming Head Scholar.

🌂 - Dionys would probably work better in a true mystery genre, but he's here so he just has to deal!

🍎 - Eh. Well enough. Dionys wasn't really raised by his parents, mainly his Aunt Erato, so they don't really have any relationship to speak of.

🧠 - Dionys is another interesting character to write!

💎 - Nope.

💀 - Dionys doesn't have any phobias, but he's easily grossed out.

🎓- A little less than Alceste and Larisilla. Probably only by like a week, though.

Somnia

🍕 - Somnia is a fan of any kind of cooking from her home village, specifically her mother's.

❤️ - Probably when her parents took her to go fishing! The Fieldlands sustain themselves on fishing and farming, so Somnia enjoyed the day out!

🌂 - Somnia probably belongs in a true fantasy romance genre.

🍎 - She had a wonderful relationship with her parents! She's still close with her mother!

🧠 - Not sure! She's different than the rest, so it's a bit harder to figure out!

💎 - I've considered it, but decided not to.

💀 - She doesn't really have any!

Enyo

🍕 - Desserts. There's a reason their knives all are named after them.

🍎 - Enyo's relationship with Meliae and Phonus is bad, at best. They don't really view them as parents, but rather employers.

💎 - Yes, but I don't. You do have the opportunity to lose Enyo from the group, but that happens at the end of Chapter 8.

💀 - No phobias, but a few fears.

Hello! I'd be happy to! I love scenario asks! I'm open to pretty much any ask (except for ads lmao), btw! This does include nsfw stuff, for those readers who are interested 👀

How the ROs wake MC up (crushing vs relationship)

Alceste (crushing): He would let them sleep as long as possible. To wake them up, he'd just give them a lil shoulder shake and very nicely ask them to wake up. If MC drools/snores/etc in their sleep, he's storing it away in his head for teasing purposes later.

Alceste (relationship): Similar to crushing, but he's definitely the kind of person who would carry MC to bed rather than want to wake them up. If he has to wake MC up, though, Alceste would love to wake MC up by kissing them, provided MC is okay with that!

Larisilla (crushing): She roughly shakes MC and tells them to get up. There's barely any difference between her waking MC up as friends vs crushing. You're just lucky she's not louder.

Larisilla (relationship): She's very soft about it, but if you say Anything, she Will vehemently deny it. Another who would rather just carry MC to bed. If not, she speaks in a low voice and rubs MC's back to wake them up, but only if they're alone. If not, she's waking them up similarly to crushing but is definitely less abrasive/mean about it.

Dionys (crushing): Dionys has been there many times before, being Head Scholar means many nights of just passing out in the library. If MC isn't in a comfortable position (i.e laying on a couch), he'll wake them up by gently shaking them and advising MC to go to bed. He will help MC to bed if they are still sleepy. If they are in a comfortable position, he'll just give them a blanket and let them sleep.

Dionys (relationship): Dionys will gently nudge MC awake and quite plainly tell them to go to bed. If MC protests for some reason, he's dragging them to bed. No if, ands, or buts.

Somnia (crushing): To be honest, she's probably right there next to MC asleep, being a healer means she has an unsteady sleeping schedule. If not, she wouldn't let it get to that point and would send MC to bed before they had the chance to pass out.

Somnia (relationship): Similar to crushing. She won't let MC get that tired on her watch. But, if it does happen, she's another who would try to carry MC to bed. She's not as successful as Alceste or Larisilla, so there's a high chance MC will wake up from being dropped, but if she manages, she'll tuck MC in and give them a lil forehead kissy. She'll probably also leave some herbs or some concoction next to them to help them wake up in the morning as well as a Strongly Worded letter to MC telling them to take better care of themselves.

Enyo (crushing): This little shit would Not wake MC up. No, they're going to sit and draw on MC's face or stack stuff on their head/back. If MC does wake up during this, they'll tell MC to go to bed. If not, MC's staying there the whole night, provided it's safe, but Enyo's gonna be there all night too.

Enyo (relationship): This one has a 50/50 chance of waking MC up. Normally, they just wouldn't, instead choosing to sleep next to MC. But if they do decide to wake MC up, they're going to nudge them awake and tell them to go to bed. They'll probably follow MC to bed, but there's still a decently high chance of them drawing on MC again.

It's 4am and I Can't Sleep, so here are some fun facts/quirks about the ROs! Have fun and feel free to ask questions if you want!

Alceste:

- As shown in his short story 1, he can't read maps. He's VERY bad at it and WILL get the group lost. Larisilla learned this the Hard Way

- Nat 1 on int and wis, nat 20 on cha

- He calls the Royal, princess/prince/princep even if you aren't dating. Honestly, he calls everyone that

- He and Larisilla are childhood friends

- He regularly lies. A chronic liar, if you will

- He's a Whore! Affectionate, cause we don't slut shame here, but he has the Most experience (both romantic and physical) out of the ROs

Larisilla:

- She's one of the first ROs I created

RO Routes Least to Most Slowburn

Alceste: I wouldn't say he falls hard and fast, not at first anyways, but he and his route moves much faster than any of the others

Enyo: Now they DO fall hard and fast, but they tend to be more relaxed about it and just kind of go with the flow. The flow just happens to be faster than normal

Somnia: She's very middle of the ground and paced pretty normally. If I had to, I'd place her more to the slowburn side than the faster side, simply because of her personality.

Dionys: He is a bit more hesitant to get into a relationship than the others mainly because of who he is as a person and his cautious approach to everything

Larisilla: Feelings? What are they? Jokes aside, she is probably the most slowburn of the ROs. Being in a relationship makes her nervous so she denies all and any feelings she has (of course until you practically have to rip it out of her)

Not-So-Nice Ask Game For The ROs (betrayal, bound, break, failure, fear, guilt, heartbreak, mistake, & torture)

Alceste

Betrayal - Alceste has definitely been betrayed by someone he thought he could trust. It's not often since he vets his company very thoroughly and regularly, but it happened once. On the other hand, Alceste does Quite A Bit of betraying. It's not personal, babe, just business.

Bound - Alceste has never been in jail. He's a Nepo Baby sdkjfnsdf

Break - I think Alceste would have a total break down if anything happened to his whole family and he couldn't prevent it/knew about it beforehand or if he found out everything he was doing was for nothing. He wouldn't take it well and would probably turn into a Major Asshole. The only people who've seen Alceste at his lowest so far are his mothers and Larisilla.

Failure - Alceste's competent enough to have not Majorly failed at anything so far. That being said, he does have a few failures that required his mothers to step in, but nothing he'd have a guilty conscious over.

Fear - Serious answer, losing his friends and family. He's maybe just a little too codependent. A more lighthearted answer, snakes and Larisilla when she's mad. He's very open about the snakes and Larisilla part. Not so much about the other.

Guilt - Alceste doesn't feel guilty for doing any of the questionable things he's been doing since he believes them to be right. He may hold a bit of guilt over the relationship that ended terribly, but that's it.

Heartbreak - Oh, all the time. Alceste is a chronic never-single person. He's never gone longer than a month without dating someone and he's always the one who decides to end it. That being said, there is only one person who's break up left a bit of a stain on him, so to speak. They're still awkward and a bit bitter around each other.

Mistake - Alceste's human, so he's made a ton of mistakes, but none I would say that would stand out as important or long lasting. Except maybe his one relationship that totally crashed and burned Badly. It was one of his first relationships and probably his longest and he Fucked It Up real bad.

Torture - Alceste has never been tortured, but he would do it to someone else if he needed to. It's not his first option, though, preferring to use words rather than actions.

Larisilla

Betrayal - Larisilla's absolutely been betrayed. The Dustlands is like a viper's pit. It's every family, and sometimes person, for themselves. Larisilla learned this the hard way. It's why Alceste, Dionys, Somnia, and Enyo are her only friends and none of them are from the Dustlands. Larisilla, however, is not one to do the betraying. She finds it tasteless and cowardly.

Bound - Larisilla has been arrested multiple times for inciting violence and starting fights. She's never stayed in prison/jail, though. Her mother and father always bail her out.

Break - Ironically, being betrayed would cause her to break down. Especially by someone who she'd consider a friend or even a lover. The best way I could describe what would happen is that she'd probably go in a stuporous state. So far, only her mother, Eunomia, and Alceste have seen her at her lowest.

Failure - She's made several failures on her end regarding both her training and diplomacy attempts. She just takes them in stride and learns from them.

Fear - Being forced into the little world her father made for her. She's terrified of not being able to roam freely and train and being forced into bureaucratic/diplomatic work. That and being emotionally vulnerable. She covers her fears with anger and by pushing people away.

Guilt - Larisilla also doesn't have any guilt. She, like Alceste, believe that everything she's doing is justified. She does feel a bit bad about her thoughts regarding Lachesis and the Temple, but that's it. She doesn't feel Guilty, perse, just Bad.

Heartbreak - Larisilla doesn't Do romantic relationships. The idea of being emotionally open scares her, so she doesn't do them. That being said, she's had physical relationships before,

Mistake - Although she'd never say it out loud, she believes it was a big mistake to encourage her sister, Lachesis, to pursue a career in the Temple of Astrea. Before starting her priestess training, Lachesis was the subject of most of their father's ambitions (i.e. becoming the next First Head of the Council, marrying well, etc). When Lachesis entered the temple, their father turned his attention to Larisilla, which causes her quite a bit of grief.

Torture - Larisilla has never been tortured and hasn't tortured anyone either. That being said, she would volunteer to be the torturer, if needed.

Dionys

Betrayal - Oh, absolutely. The Hall of Scholars (Scholar's Hall) is a place full of betrayal and backstabbing to see who can get ahead. Dionys has been the victim of backstabbing and has dealt his own to other people. Most of his relationships have to be clearly transactional now since he's never been a fan of the backstabbing.

Bound - Once. Dionys has been arrested once for stealing a restricted book from the library. This was while his parents were still Head Scholar and Professor, so he was bailed out quickly.

Break - Getting kicked out of the Hall of Scholars or losing his little sister. Dionys has done quite a bit of questionable things to become Head Scholar of the Hall of Scholars. If he is ever kicked out, he will have no idea what to do. As for his little sister, Galatea is 6 years old so much of what he does is for her benefit. The only people who have seen him breakdown so far are his parents, Erato (his maternal aunt), and Orithyia.

Failure - He plagiarized a whole theory submission once. It nearly got him kicked out of the Hall, but he's a Nepo Baby. Most people have forgotten about it by now, and if they haven't and bring it up, they'll forget soon enough (ominous).

Fear - Same as Break.

Guilt - Dionys doesn't really like how much backstabbing he had to do to get where he is and feels a bit bad over it. But he accepts it as part of what he did, so he doesn't wallow in it. He does feel guilty for taking Rhodope in as his protégé, though, and feels responsible for her horrible personality. His idea of fixing it is to just ignore her unless necessary.

Heartbreak - Not really. Dionys has dated several peers before, but the relationship always ends before it gets too serious or ends very abruptly and they always leave the Hall afterwards.

Mistake - Taking on Rhodope as his protégé. When he met her about 3 year ago, she was 13 and a very shy and studious trainee. He saw himself in her and took her under his wing, but now she's arrogant and Frankly, A Bitch. He thinks that if he didn't take her as his protégé then she wouldn't have become awful. He also doesn't like the fact that she's obvious about her feelings for him.

Torture - Dionys has not been tortured, unless you count that one time when he was about 22 where he was awake for 96 hours straight. It was his Final Thesis Presentation week and he nearly missed it. Dionys would not torture anyone else.

Somnia

Betrayal - Somnia hasn't really... betrayed anyone, so to speak. Just... manipulated them enough. She hasn't personally been betrayed, but due to *plot spoilers*, she considers it to be a betrayal to her as well.

Bound - No. Somnia's too valuable in her village to be arrested.

Break - Similar to Alceste, if she found out everything she was doing was for nothing. She wouldn't handle it well since her whole world view has been crafted around this situation. The only person who's seen her break own is her mother, Ianassa.

Failure - Similar to Guilt, but she views her father's death as her failure, despite being 13 years old. It shaped her whole future and caused her to pursue healer training.

Fear - Same as Break, but also losing her friends or her mother. She's similar to Alceste in this way.

Guilt - Somnia is the one RO who I think doesn't feel guilt at all. She thinks everything she's done or is doing is completely justified, even if shown it wasn't justified at all, she'll still convince herself it was.

Heartbreak - Not really. Somnia's a bit too busy for relationships, but those that she had have always ended cordially.

Mistake - She doesn't really have any major mistakes she would consider major. This could count as Failure too, but Somnia did accidentally kill someone while in training by administering the wrong dosage of a medication and poisoned them. While it wasn't good, obviously, it did spark her interest in poisons.

Torture - Somnia's never been tortured, personally as in one-on-one, before. She has tortured someone before, though, and that's all I'm saying on that.

Enyo

Betrayal - Mmm... this is a bit tricky, but I'm going to have to say no. Enyo's very clear about their intentions, so is it really betrayal if they gave you a warning? That being said, Enyo has not betrayed any of the Assassin and Thieves Guild in the Floelands.

Bound - Yes. It was one of Enyo's first missions and they were caught. They were sent on the mission with Bella, who snuck in and stole the keys from the guard to free them. They've never been arrested or caught since.

Break - There isn't much that would cause Enyo to break down majorly. Their mental health is either well enough or low enough to where not much will phase them. No one has seen them break down before.

Failure - Enyo failed one mission before. They weren't able to move past it and when they returned empty handed, they suffered for it. They're still glad they never went through with it and has never failed another mission.

Fear - Meliae Enstat, their foster mother. To a lesser degree, Phonus Sanntite, their foster father. They don't make their fear known, but it's also not really a secret.

Guilt - Surprisingly, Enyo doesn't feel much guilt over the assassinations they've done. They view it in a more practical light, as in 'this is just a job', so they're not emotionally invested. They also try to complete the job as fast as possible and not look into the targets too much.

Heartbreak - Enyo hasn't been in a relationship before. They've had physical relationships before, but never true romantic ones.

Mistake - The only Bad Mistake Enyo made was failing that one mission. It shaped who they were quite a bit.

Torture - Enyo has been tortured and they have done the torturing too. They don't really like doing it, but they're, unfortunately, good at it.

Introducing: The Cornalines of the Republic of the Dustlands

The third post about the families of the main characters in the story!

Today is about Larisilla's family: The Cornalines!

Here is each member of the Cornaline family! Left to right, there is: Deimus Cornaline, Eunomia Cornaline, Larisilla Cornaline, and Lachesis Cornaline.

Deimus Cornaline (he/him)

Deimus Cornaline is the current patriarch of the Cornaline family as well as the First Head of the Dustlands' Council. While the Dustlands' Council does not (officially) inherit positions via family/bloodline, the position of First Head has stayed within the Cornaline family for decades. Deimus inherited the position of First Head from his mother, Lavinia Cornaline. Deimus is considered to be strict and serious, a contrast to his mother who was a kind and relaxed Head. As First Head, Deimus acts as the figurehead and spokesperson for the Dustlands' Council, essentially putting him on about equal status to his neighboring royalty. He is an overbearing and demanding father, earning him the ire of his eldest daughter, Larisilla. He and his wife, Eunomia, were married together in an arranged marriage to boost prestige, a concept which is uncommon but not unheard of within the Dustlands. Deimus is currently trying to arrange such a match for Larisilla to the child of another Head of the Council. He is 56 years old at the start of the story.

Eunomia Cornaline (she/her)

Eunomia Cornaline (née Dravit) is the wife to Deimus Cornaline and is the mother to Larisilla Cornaline and Lachesis Cornaline. She was married to Deimus, her husband, through an arranged marriage meant to boost her family's position and prestige by her mother, Caesilla Dravit. Despite their marriage being arranged, Eunomia and Deimus actually mutually love and respect one another. Contrary to her husband's serious and strict demeanor, Eunomia is kind and gentle, tending to be soft-spoken. She is a loving and doting mother, not really having a "job" other than that, but she has the tendency to be overbearing. Unlike her husband, her overbearing tendencies have not earned her the ire of her eldest daughter, Larisilla. Eunomia happily indulges her children's whims, even if Deimus disapproves. She is the one who bought Larisilla her first sword and is the one who encouraged her youngest daughter, Lachesis, to pursue a career path in the Temple of Astrea. She is 49 years old at the start of the story.

Larisilla Cornaline (she/her)

Larisilla Cornaline is the eldest daughter of Deimus Cornaline and his wife, Eunomia Cornaline. She is also 1 of the 5 Romance Options for the Accused Royal/Main Character in the story. Larisilla is very much like her father in terms of personality. She is serious and blunt and can be quite intense. Her father, Deimus, is trying to raise her to follow in the footsteps of him and her grandmother and become First Head of the Dustlands' Council. Larisilla, on the other hand, would much rather become a knight/soldier, enjoying training and having had acquired a bad habit of picking fights. Her mother, Eunomia, encourages this by buying Larisilla equipment and other things she needs. She is childhood friends with Alceste Claudius Emeraude of the Woodlands Kingdom, thanks to a deal Alceste's mother and Deimus worked out that would force the two of them to spend 3 months of the year in the Woodlands Kingdom and the Dustlands Republic, respectively. Larisilla is aware her father is trying to arrange an arranged marriage for her and she happily makes her displeasure known loudly. Like all of the Romance Options in the story, Larisilla is technically bisexual or pansexual. She is 23 years old at the start of the story.

Examples of the outfits Larisilla typically wears. While in the Dustlands and on "official business", she typically wears a dress. Otherwise, she can be seen in variations of armor with high mobility.

Lachesis Cornaline (she/her)

Lachesis Cornaline is the youngest daughter of Deimus Cornaline and his wife, Eunomia Cornaline. Lachesis is pursuing a career as a Priestess of Astrea at the Temple of Astrea in the Dustlands. This has, unknowingly for her, been the cause of most of the strife between her older sister, Larisilla, and their father. Lachesis is about a mix between her parents in terms of her personality. While she is kind, like her mother, she is also very much serious and blunt like her father and sister. She is a high-performing priestess-in-training at the Temple of Astrea, which makes her a candidate to be High Priestess. Lachesis has the tendency to be catty and aloof and is not above playing dirty to get what she wants. She is highly competitive and views her position in the temple as something she fought for. Lachesis greatly admires her older sister, trying to emulate Larisilla as much as she can in her everyday life. She is 16 years old at the start of the story.

An example of a dress Lachesis normally wears. It resembles the dresses and robes many of the priestesses wear in the Temple of Astrea.
