I saw this prompt in tiktok and I thought that it's kinda cute. I'm not sure if you do Larissa Weems x Reader x Marilyn Thornhill though but anyway.

Larissa and Marilyn are together. One time they're talking about how they're struggling to get a baby in their relationship. A baby as in another person they can be in a poly relationship with. Reader heard this but they thought baby like as in a child. So being close with the two, she offered advice and told them that they can help them if they needed it. Larissa and Marilyn just looked at each other and they both agreed to pursue reader and get them as their baby. It's up to you how it goes, it's totally fine if you don't write this! Thank youuu

You had sat on the couch in the corner of the staff room at the start of the second break and since then everyone had left to go to their next periods. You were mindlessly scrolling through your instagram when two figures walk in oblivious to that fact that you were there as well. Looking back down at your phone, you move closer to the two ladies wanting to hear what they were talking about.

"Larissa! We've tried so many times to get one, don't you just want to give up?" You looked over at the two, Larissa was scrolling through her phone whilst Marilyn had her head rested on the table.

"Trust me darling," she placed her phone down and gave Marilyn a comforting hug whilst you watched. "We will get one for our own, just have some patience." Thats when it hit you, they were trying to get a baby. Watching the two of them from your corner, you couldn't help but feel bad for the two, they deserved the world after everything they had done to help you over the years that you had worked here and now you had the opportunity to return the favour by being their surrogate. You walk over to the two and sit down across from them.

"Y/N?? How long have you been here?" Larissa looks at you in shock, making her partner raise her head to look at you.

"Long enough to hear your issue," You start not noticing the look of horror the both shared. "I understand how terrible it is too feel this way, my parents had the same issue. If it makes you feel any better I'd gladly do it for you. Think about it, and get back to me but for now I really need to get ready for my next class." and with that you stand back up and leave the room, leaving the other two speachless.

"You think she really means that?" Marilyn asks looking at her girlfriend in pure shock, already knowing that she wants you.

"Well, I really hope so otherwise I don't know what she means." A hum is the response, "But you need to go to your next class otherwise you'll be late. Let me deal with this new information for now." She finishes kissing Marilyns head softly, sighing as she watched her other half leave the staff room.

Larissa knew that her Marilyn wanted you and she couldn't deny that she thought you were attractive. Somehow she had landed herself at the door of your classroom, just able to make out you at the front of the classroom. Slipping into the classroom, she is able to stay at the back without being noticed. Watching for a few minutes before sitting down next to one of the students who quickly sat up straighter amusing Larissa.

"Can anyone tell me what Crackstones goal was?" You ask the class spontaneously, looking around for someone to answer. No hands raised and just as you were about to say it yourself a hand goes up in the back. Nodding relieved that someone was paying attention.

"He wanted the world rid of Outcasts, and it seems he failed miserably." The voice who answers makes you freeze in your tracks.

"Principal Weems? What are you doing here?" If students weren't already paying attention they were now, craning their necks to look at their Principal.

"Came to check on how you were doing. Am I not allowed to do that anymore?"

"I- of course you can! It's just you've never come to my class before." You point out causing a few students to laugh, looking down at your watch to check the time realising that there was ten minutes left. Allowing the students to leave early you walk around your desk to your cupboard

"Y/N, Did you really mean what you said earlier?" Your boss asks, as she looks down at your figure which is bent over looking for something.

"Of course! You and Marilyn deserve a child and I'd be honoured to be able to help." You smile, but it drops the moment you see Larissa's face go from curiosity to surprise. "You meant a child right?"

"It's okay Morgan. Nothing's going to hurt you."

Morgan burrowed into her father's chest. "But daddy, what if there's monsters here?"

"Hey Morgan, it's okay." Peter sat on the bed. "All of the monsters here are the cute cuddly ones. Like the one's from Monster's Inc."

Morgan turned to Peter. "But what if he tries to eat me?"

"You're too big Morgan." Harley poked her leg. "They'd get as far as your leg and be full."

The littlest's eyes widened and she immediately dove under Tony's arm.

Peter rolled his eyes and elbowed Harley in the ribs. "Way to go Harley."

"Sorry for trying to help."

"Okay, neither of you are really helping." Tony did his best to soothe his frightened daughter. "So unless you come up with something that does help, keep your mouths shut."

Harley rolled his eyes. "Sorry."

"Come on Harley, he's really trying here."

The older boy sighed. "I know, but we're supposed to be on vacation Pete. I've got to have a little fun."

Peter tugged the blanket back. "Morgan, is there something we could do to help?"

The littlest looked up at Peter. "Can you check please?"

"Check where sweetheart?" Tony asked.

"The places monsters like to hide."

"Like under the bed?"

Morgan nodded. "And in the closet."

Tony nodded. "We can do that."

Meanwhile, Harley moved toward the closet. "We can take a look, but they won't be there."

Peter hit his shoulder. "Because there's none there."

"Ow!" Harley shoved him back.

"Alright you two, knock it off," Tony followed Harley's direction. "Let's help Morgan feel safe so we can all go to bed."

"Daddy don't leave!"

"I'm not leaving sweetie. I'm just checking the closet."

Morgan clung to her stuffie. "But what if the monster comes out?"

"He'll have to go through all of us," Harley flexed his muscles.

Morgan hid behind her stuffy. "We're gonna die!"

Peter stroked her hair. "Don't worry Morgan, your dad and I will be here."

Harley growled and crossed his arms.

Tony nudged his arm and gave him a wink the other two couldn't see. He then turned to the duo still at the bed, "Peter, check under the bed please."

The younger boy nodded. "Right."

Morgan watched her surrogate brother intently as he crouched down. While the two were distracted, Tony tugged Harley closer to the closet. He whispered, "Follow my lead, go for Peter."

Harley raised one eyebrow, but gave a brief nod.

In response, the older mentor stepped to the closet and put his ear to the door. Tony then knocked on the door, "Hello, any monsters in there?"

Harley smirked. "Careful Tony, don't want to stir any of them up."

"Harley," Peter hissed.

The older boy held up his hands. Instead of responding, he turned back to Tony.

"You know, Harley's right. Certain monsters are attracted to sound."

"What!"

Peter soothed the littlest. "Shhh, your dad's just being silly."

"No I'm not, I know one monster who feasts on sounds."

Then Tony cracked open the closet.

Morgan dove under the covers and yanked them over her head.

While Peter tried to soothe her, Harley let out a low growl that made her squeak.

"Oh no, I think there's a special monster here," Tony hissed.

"An extra especially monster."

"Come on you two, knock it off!" Peter snapped.

With a subtle slip into his pocket, Tony clicked the button that turned off all the lights.

Morgan flew into Peter's side. "Petey!"

The young boy squeezed her tight. "Come on Tony, don't join him!"

Neither Tony nor Harley answered. Instead Harley let out another low growl as Tony let the closet door slowly fall open.

While Morgan sunk even farther down, Peter slid forward so he was in front of her.

Meanwhile, Harley and Tony slunk through the darkness to opposite sides of the bed. Harley was starting to pick up on what Tony was doing and he was game to pick on the spider kid.

"Tony, Harley? Whatever you're doing, stop it! You're scaring Morgan!"

Harley leaned close to Peter's ear and whispered, "Boo."

When Peter's arm shot out in his direction, the older boy snagged it then yanked him toward him.

"Hey!"

Meanwhile, Morgan let out a squeal as she was scooped into her father's arms. "Petey!"

Peter squirmed to get out of Harley's bear hug. "What are you two doing!"

Tony chuckled. "We've come to feast."

"Feast on what!"

"Your giggles."

Both Peter and Morgan let out a surprised squeal as the other two dug in. Tony immediately spidered across Morgan's tummy while Harley attacked Peter's sides.

"Nohoho! Harlehey!"

"Harley's not here right now." The older boy moved up to his ribs. "I'm the tickle monster!"

"NOOHO! NOHOT THEHERE!"

"Aww, does the spider kid have ticklish ribs?"

"SHUT UHUP! YOU KNOW IHITS SPIDERMAHAN!"

"Man is a stretch."

While Harley attacked Peter, Tony spidered up Morgan's sides and into her armpits. "Gootchie gootchie goo."

"Daddyhy noho!"

"Sorry sweetie, your daddy's not here right now. Just the tickle monster."

Morgan let out a squeal. "Ihi knohow ihits yohou daddyhy!"

Tony cooed. "Am I that ohobvihous?"

Morgan nodded and wrapped him in a hug. "Lohove you dahaddy."

The older mentee returned the hug. "I love you too honey. I'm sorry we scared you."

"It's okay, you wehere beheing sillyhy."

"I promise you Morgan, the only monster you'll see on vacation is the tickle monster." Tony added in some side tickles for good measure. "Ahand he will neeeever hurt you."

Morgan giggled adorably and tried to grab her dad's hand. However, the moment was cut short by a loud squeal.

When Tony looked over, he saw Harley had Peter by the armpits and was slowly making him to lower to the floor as he wiggled his fingers around.

Morgan pointed. "Daddy, we have to save Petey!"

"Not to worry princess." Tony set Morgan down and charged around the bed. "Unhand him you fiend!"

"What? AhEE!"

Once beside them, Tony squeezed Harley's hips. This made the older boy drop Peter and collapse into a pile of laughter on to the bed.

Morgan crawled over and peered down at her surrogate brother. "Are you okay Petey?"

The young teen caught his breath, then growled. "Harley, you're dehead!"

Peter scrambled on to the bed and immediately attacked the older boy's armpits.

"AHH! TOHONY YOHOU TRAITOHOR!"

"That's the joy of being senior tickle monster." The older mentor spidered up Harley's sides. "You can switch sides whenever you please."

"SQUEE! ATLEAST CAHALL OHOF YOU'RE ATTAHACK SPIDEHER!"

Peter paused his tickles. "Now I'm ahan attahack spideher? Harley, can yohou nohot just sahay Spidermahan?"

The older boy growled before pulling Peter down on top of him. "Ohof course nohot, that wohould behe to easy."

"Hey!" Peter immediately tried to grab the knuckles rubbing the top of his head. "Knock ihit off!"

Tony chuckled. "Yohou guhuys are crazy. Rihight Morgan?"

When Tony looked around, there was no sign of his daughter.

"Morgan?"

A giggle drew all of their attention to the door. Morgan stood in the open bedroom doorway, a grin on her face and her stuffie in her arm. "Come and catch me monstehers!"

Then she took off down the hall.

Tony sprang up and ran after her. "Get back here you sneaky little sneak!"

Meanwhile, Peter wriggled out of Harley's hold. "Morgan's going to need back up."

"You take up, I'll take down?"

Peter paused at the doorway. "No I thought I'd let you climb across the ceiling for a change."

Harley rolled his eyes as he poked Peter's side. "Get up there."

With a grin, Peter scurried up the wall. Harley grinned back before heading down the hall. "Better watch out! We're coming for you Tony!"

After that night, Morgan never feared monsters again . . . Well, all except for one monster.

actually youve kinda hit something that ive been thinking on for a while now. about how the batman robin dynamic was originally so similar to the steve and bucky dynamic but hasnt been made to work well on larger modern audiences (like the movies) whereas when bucky came back in 2005, they rewrote half of canon to have bucky be retroactively 16 when he and steve meet and start working together. and this does effectively create a "brothers dynamic" but unlike bruce and dick the canon had never outright called them father/son before. (it was certainly there if u squinted but very "father figure" never anything as official as a ward or such) so i think DC saw how this worked for marvel and is thinking it might allow them the same leniency (and let dick age further without have bruce get "too old") but it just proves they dont understand what made robin GOOD in the first place. like yes he was audience surrogate and batman's best friend but there was actually value having him be a child, as opposed to with cap n bucky who are literally in wwii. like it speaks to a misunderstanding of the text, the setting and purpose of the characters. that change to brothers just could never work for bruce and dick the way it did for steve and bucky. also because they never messed with changing the main character's age/timeline to accomodate the younger one. i dunno. the new timeline annoys me. :)

i agree completely yeah its just very annoying and creates a weird dissonance between the way bruce and dick have always been written and the way theyre being presented in rebirth. like yeah dick and bruce are interesting together for different reasons than steve and bucky were like i do think going for a more serious tone by making bucky 16 was important for the cap comics. and it contextualized his “literal child soldier” role in a really interesting way too. + like you said they never explicitly refer to him as steve’s son or anything. but with dick they very much consistently refer to him as bruce’s son/ward in the pre-52 canon. so theyre not contextualizing bruce and dick’s relationship into something more timely or interesting theyre just . gutting the entire history of batman to change it into something that doesnt even make sense. dc always wants to have their cake and eat it too and this is why they can never make a good live action movie w batman and robin. because they dont want to age batman. and they dont want to have a young robin. they view dick/any robin as an inherent hindrance to whatever gritty batman story they want to tell. except some of batman’s most gritty stories. are the ones about robin(robin:year one, death in the family, war games, robin:son of batman etc etc). really i just don't think dc understands why people like batman at all 😭

I'm almost done with my reread of OTNWAS, and I had this thought the first time and hoped I wouldn't think it again.

HOW do I read any other Hijack fic other than this one and yours? This is my canon! As far as I'm concerned, this is what happens in these respective universes. I thought about watching Defenders of Berk because it's free on cable, but what if it doesn't like up???? How would I cope????

Rereading it though is such a good expierence. The first time through, I'd be yelling at my friends "THERE'S ONLY TEN CHAPTERS LEFT AND THEY AREN'T TOGETHER YET! NOT EVEN A SMOOCH!" Now I know it's not just the final sentence of the whole story.

In terms of canon content I've heard Race to the Edge is pretty peak! I'm about to start watching it actually! Aaaaaaaaand if you want another fic that takes place around the RTTE timeline then you should check out The Ripple of a Snowflake! It's a very different story from OTNWAS and sets up really fun character dynamics between Jack and the HTTYD cast! (Namely Valka as his surrogate mother figure and dragon-freeing partner in crime!)

In any case, I'm still going insane over OTNWAS and will be drawing way more for it so don't worry about that LMAO

ahh I'm so glad you're enjoying anon!! IKYLAO means so much to me, seriously. it'll always have a special place in my heart. I am such a Jace girlie though! I am always there with a Jace agenda.

I mean... hmm. I do think Aemond would have to try and kill one of her brothers (as an adult) for her to be like okay, no this love is not going to be enough. like I don't think there's much else he could do besides like cheat on her or something for her love to just go away. I think the key thing for Alysanne's feelings for Jace is what they go through in the war - like they become even more hyper dependent on one another, and become surrogate parents to their younger brothers. that gives her the awareness to realize there's some romantic charge to her feelings, even if it's a bit ambitious.

aemond couldn't just die for her to be with Jace afterwards, because she'd never get over it. he'd, like you said, have to try and kill one of her brothers. so I think maybe after that Alysanne could go for her feelings for Jace? or like embrace it a bit more. it's hard to say! or maybe if she'd never married aemond at all and had that monumental reconciliation with him.

Ive never heard Jk talk about kids before… I know Jimin always wanted to be a dad.. as a queer person myself ( very homophobic country) I feel for them. I know it’s possible to have kids as a queer couple.. there are ways in which you can achieve this..but it is so much more difficult. Can you imagine.. seeing them as dads.. raising a family together? How cute would that be!! Ugh my heart 😭😩 little parkjeons running around .. I’ll just stop

AH THANK YOU WISE ANON you showed up at just the right time. Opiates for butthurt are inappropriate use of opiates is all I'm gonna say about that but in fairness my sciatic nerve had one too many people STANDING ON IT so here have some love and appreciation

I'm not sure about that second one just go with it. ANYWAY YES. OMG. So Kev and X and I have this new thing where they hover and I allow it and one of the many things we discuss is kids. In Korea gay parenting is nearly impossible, especially under the current administration. It would just involve too much lying and that's not okay to do to kids, assuming kids can be found (girls can, and money works, but.)

So they don't have kids. But they will. It's one of the big reasons they're moving to the US part time. Roughly half the year is the plan and they intend to marry here. They will maintain one property - the largest home, for the family - in Korea. One in the US. The dream to is have the children back in Korea full time by high school and that seems... optimistic, but maybe? We can hope.

And the kids will be by necessity adopted, or possibly a surrogate will be utilized because Kev very much wants to be a biodad. X really wants to adopt, they may end up doing both. And I want to be there for that kid or those kids or all the kids. Auntie Jaya at your service, for real. And I imagine the Jeon-Parks have already talked about this. There may even be a plan in place, for later. Maybe much later.

Gay parents are, in my experience, AMAZING parents. Because it is hard, it is expensive, it takes years usually, and it is a CHOICE. A very conscious choice.

I want that for the Jeon-Parks, if they want it. And I think they do.

Chapter 1

I think it's cool that the manga begins in medias res (and that it even shows the battle's aftermath no less!) :^) I don't want to compare it to Berserk because only about 1848495 people have done it already, but it's a narrative technique that really goes hand in hand with these kinds of stories

*heavy breathing sounds*. Fun how in the anime Thorfinn walks away from the spectator, while in the manga he walks towards the reader. Also maybe it's because the mangaka's style wasn't as refined yet, but Askeladd looks much, much younger here :0

🥺 I think I really like the idea of some of the mercenaries liking Thorfinn, and even looking out for him. It's not an actual Thing, but it's a really cute thought

Chapter 3

Thors is much more expressive in the manga, which I really like🥺 I understand that the anime really wanted to highlight his otherness, in a way, but he feels much more natural this way

Chapter 18

Oh wow, so the manga doesn't say that Helga is Sigvaldi's daughter, but it says that Thorkell is his brother right away :0 I guess that it will make the future reveal more impactful, yeah

Chapter 19

It's so cute how Thorkell calls Thorfinn "little one", I don't even think it's to belittle him, it's just that he's so big and Thorfinn is so small 😭😭

Chapter 27

I haven't mentioned them yet, but I like how the anime made the two brothers reoccurring characters since the beginning, it makes their betrayal a bit more impactful. Not by much, but it does. I think this is the first time Skar shows up in the manga, and I'm almost at the part where they reach Mercia already. On the other hand though the mercenary band feels much more "alive" in the manga exactly because there are many more background characters saying this and that in their place, so I'm a bit conflicted on this

Chapter 40

When Thorkell asked Thors where he would go, he answered "Somewhere that's not here"... I just remembered that the chapter where him and his family are introduced is titled "Somewhere that's not here"... the dots...

Chapter 48

The anime does show Leif looking for Thorfinn but seeing what he does in the manga left me 🥺🥺

'Aight, now that I've finished reading VS's manga prologue it's safe to say that I'm french kissing and holding hands with the anime producers because boy did I not expect that some of the Askeladd/Thorfinn parallels and interactions I immediately latched onto were anime originals. I've been played like a fiddle. I'm having "Hunter x Hunter 1999 is 1/3 fillers" flashbacks •_•

But I'm really looking forward to seeing whether Thorfinn will join the hall of faves through the power of character development! I know of stuff already because I don't mind spoilers, but I don't know how said stuff will happen, so 👀

Chapter 55

Nothing to say yet other than I've read that lots and lots of people love this Einar guy, so I have VERY high expectations

????? *checks notes* no, I can't say that sudden nipple teasing and dick grabbing were in my "things I expected to see" list

Thorfinn my boy my heart aches for you but also I love how Einar keeps trying to make him talk and even straight up dumps his whole past on him while he's just there completely unresponsive 😭

Chapter 65
