I'm getting way too much enjoyment watching how some of Helluva Boss fandom is raving over the popular current theory that stolas is going to die in the series.
Tumblr media
Because of the Oops episode and how the skull and cross bones in the smoke clock landed on Stolas and other stuff
I.e.
Having imp assasins in LooLoo Land
Stella
Striker
His lullaby saying that when he’s gone Octavia will be ok and that today could be his last (I could go on a whole tangent about that lullaby it's so good)
Western Energy  (that's it)
I'm not saying I want stolas to die but am I also saying it would be funny to watch the fandom go up in flames about it?
Well call me Phineas and Ferb because
Yes
yes I am
You can stop reading here if you want. Under the cut I'm just rambling justifying why I think what I think. there are some jokes and lighthearted critiques, but you know... you have the option to look and give your own opinions  :)
I mean I have my grievances with him like I've said in my other post (shameless plug Warning I'm very illiterate in case you haven't noticed) but like I don’t wish death upon him I still like Stolas believe it or not
lol.
In fact I hope stolas doesn’t die and mostly I don’t think stolas is going to die at all frankly. I highly dout the writers/viv/whoever is going to actually kill off stolas mostly because like any time stolas is in danger its so underminded like- ok LooLoo land is mostly a joke (good joke too I like the end where Stolas turns the imp guy into stone good pay off), Stella played for laughs beacues shes making the hit right in front stolas and it doesn’t get paid off till the next season which is fine the seasons are short, Western Energy he was fine like an episode later.
If home boy cant be hospitalized for more than one episode he isn't dying
Granted I will allow some leeway as we don’t know how much time has passed since Western Energy to Oops but it- I don’t think stab wounds and broken arms heal that fast regardless of that :/ if I'm being honest especially if it was a holy weapon just saying.
Even if he did die that brings up a lot of questions like what happens to demons when they die? Are all demons immortal and can only die due to physical damage? are Asmodeus and Beelzebub going to outlive Fizz and Vortex if imps and hellhounds/other demons aren't immortal. Were the 7 deathly sins ever babies like everyone else? If demons are immortal and can live forever and the Ars Goitias can only be killed by angelic weapons that are hard to get, I'm assuming, why do, they need to have children or heirs? Why even have children at all? If angelic weapons can kill demons do demonic weapons exist and can they kill angels or other holy beings?
All this and more on You Can't Answer These Questions at 8
Lol
anyways
but in all seriousness
Here’s the real question
If they did actually kill Stolas, will they bring him back?
Riddle me this batman
there's a very the very real outcome of them bringing stolas back through some magical demonic bs anyway so like it really won't matter. They're not going to have Stolas bite the dust permanently and if they are... respect honestly (the balls frankly).
People will cry, I'll laugh because I'm heartless, he’ll be like resurrected or something, and everyone will be happy or mad idk.
Like it's one thing for Millie to get hurt in the other episodes because there wasn’t a major plot point you know? (and she’s not important) There was no lingering scene on it with sad music. In when stolas got hurt it was this big thing and for him to just be like fine an episode later is like what? How are you going to have this big emotional climax with no emotional orgasm (sorry) afterwards. And like no I'm not letting this go what the heck? You had the whole fandom screeching about Blizto going to sloth just to do nothing with it and put a twist about Barbie and then also have stolas be perfectly fine and dandy the next episode afterwards. Are there no stakes in this show? Like I get that Helluva Boss wasn’t planned in the beginning but like come on... When Viv approves of the episodes does she look back at the other episodes? Is she even there? Is she ok? Is she and everyone else seeing a bigger picture that I'm not? Has she sat down and watched Helluva Boss from the very beginning and watched them from episode one to now? I mean really not just a once over to send it off to youtube I mean really took a good and hard look at the episodes? The way they mix episodic, and story is really messing with me I'm going to go back and watch all the episodes from the beginning just to make sure it’s not me.
I like how I said in my tangent about Hell fire (shameless plug part 2) I said I liked the new episode over all give or take some extremally small nitpicks yet here I am complaining :) guess I'm a liar
soo yeah, I really don’t think they're going kill off their golden child, their best boy, their little botanist boo, their dopamine deficient dandy, their booboo bear, their uwu baby boi, their uke wukey cinnamon roll, their twinky little baby owl, their Boo thang, their stary eyed savant, their sad beige gay, their smoopy woopy do, their snoogum-boogums, their skidamarink a dink a dink skidamarink a doo, their-
ok
I'm done
I'm so sorry

do you have any favorite days on the qsmp? if yes which ones?
SO MANY these are not in order they're just whatever i could think of. also idk if you mean like vod recs or just like fave days either way i'm gonna list them somewhat like recs
the french speakers' arrival is a wonderful day from several povs (bagheras, cellbits, quackity's, although his is fairly short as always)
similarly, brazilians arriving is also great! watch any of the brazilians or q or roier or even phil who was losing his mind waiting for them to give the eggs back
WATCH A DAY 1 VOD!!!! if you already have watched one pov, watch another from someone else! day 1 vods are so funny and deranged and really set the initial tone that really was the server's vibes basically up until the brazilians arrived
the egg event day! tbh watch any pov but roier's and jaiden's are really really good
the conclusion of the happy pills arc was an incredible day; i know it's probably soured for a lot of folks, and that's understandable, but if you never watched it and feel up for it, check out pac's and cellbit's pov of it because it's wonderful (pac didn't stream the actual conclusion himself, so you'll have to watch cellbit's to see the full conclusion of pac and forever getting the risus antidote)
idr what day it was exactly but the day bobby was killed by the code and lost his first life is a super interesting vod from several povs-- namely roier's, cellbit's, phil's, bad's, and probably some other folks? a LOT of lore stuff happened that day that was super interesting
cellbit's may 7 vod (featuring the cucurucho chainsaw hallway) + his may 10 vod (featuring him screaming and revving a chainsaw at the sight of cucurucho); tbh, if you're into qcellbit, watch his first week vods if you haven't because they're IMPECCABLE they decided to immediately torture him and also gave him so many puzzles it was great. this whole era of theory bros/ordo theoritas was incredible generally too so max's and bad's vods are also very very fun watches and they didn't spend a million hours deciphering an ARG so their vods are easier to get through
the day wilbur found tallulah is so fucking funny we were all losing our shit over the admins making an egg literally just for wilbur and to his credit wilbur did actually log on a ton those two weeks
bagi's arrival IMPECCABLE tbh watching anyone's day 1/arrival vod is a good idea they're usually pretty enlightening & fun; watch her pov as well as anyone else's because from what i remember they had to do a bunch of weird puzzles to get to her
similarly, carre's first day is very funny and chill vibes very enjoyable
gemeos do misterio reveal need i say more
the time roier and vegetta got quackity drunk at casualonas and got him to reveal his plans to kill the eggs on tape
literally any roier vod frankly roier is just so entertaining i could watch him wash dishes and have a good time
jaiden's birthday party vod
jaiden's vod where she was going on a break (i think when she'd been to japan?) and we got the reveal that she'd worked with the feds in the past
whatever day it was where they went and found kameto again in some federation hq
the juanaflippa life trial was deranged i didn't watch it myself (i think i was at my nephew's birthday party or something tbh) but every part of it sounded WILD
related, the funeral streams from any of the parents whose kids died are pretty interesting
the day quackity found out tilin died is BRUTAL but a great watch-- q is, of course, a brilliant rper and what he did with tilin's death was masterful and really heartbreaking. i think it was the day after tilin died? something like that
bobby dungeon. obviously. that was crazy and it set so much up for jaiden and roier's chararacters gahhhhh
the event with the new members' arrival (like tina and everyone else in that whole big crew)
any romero richas moments i cannot think of dates or anything off the top of my head but montelyson lore is so cool and genuinely creepy i miss it so much
the furniture prank came at such a wrong time but it was genuinely so fun along with the deranged waystone prank i lowkey wish they'd happened like. three days before or something bc they would've been really really funny
hide and seek!!!! again idr the day but when they finally got to do that event it was so cool
festa junina!!!!!! so many shenanigans and fun times
dia de los muertos EVERYTHING TO ME!!!!! seeing bobby again ough and all the newer members getting to meet the old dead eggs.... gahh
spiderbit wedding i am unbiased. nodders.
the day where baghs and cellbit did the first day train station puzzle was so good i NEED them solving shit together again sigh
BLUE BIRD MISSION + TIMER DUNGEON!!!!! event(s) of all time fr i loved that shit.
that time elq kidnapped dapper was kinda lame in that it didn't actually make sense BUT baghera went IN on that man and the whole thing of them following him was very cool
max and bad assassinating elq KING SHIT
wilbur party explosion need i say more that shit ruled fit's pov is great for that particular bit of the night bc you get to see ramon figuring it all out
the day they did a server reset so they let roier and bobby and tilin (i think it was them three? its been ages) blow a bunch of shit up that ruled
spiderbit ocean temple hangout very very good day
tazercraft prison break (the one where they escaped with walter bob but then he got taken away at the barbie house)
tiny mike day idr what was going on that day i jsut will never recover from tiny mike. miquinho. smaller than richas even so itty

if you click the unrebloggable red catboy haterade readmore it's your own damn fault
i am so tired of people trying to defend g'raha's writing in ew
"they're capable of subtlety" switching between being a manipulative asshole and the writer's most perfect prince who can never do wrong and is the wol's bestest friend 5ever (don't look at shb) and never allowing the player/other characters to say "dude wtf" at the former is not "subtle writing", it's complete lack of awareness that the character is being an asshole
like it was bad enough that the writers forced you to be buddy-buddy with him in shb with only a token option of expressing mild distaste , doing that and also making it very clear that he's still a manipulative shithead (because if he was meant to trying to put on a brave face they would have had a "dude wtf" line where he would have apologized in the post-credits, not acted like the promise made under duress was still valid) is just bad fucking writing given that on the other side of the corridor is zenos, who they constantly deny even acknowledgement of his humanity
you can try to compare it to urianger's writing but uri's writing never flinches away from the fact that he's being a fucker when he's being a fucker even when played for comedy, and they still have this gaping gap of not touching the fact that urianger functionally killed thancred's foster daughter/little sister onscreen (while they probably would have realistically hashed it out over like 3 years, you really don't get to see any of that at all so it's very strained; even having thancred still kind of mad before he gets snatched and having the more cordial relationship we normally see during shb would have communicated that better).
idk. so much of ew is just written really damn poorly (even parts that, in isolation, i find acceptable to actively enjoyable (ie the 6.0 zenos cutscenes) end up falling flat in context) because of external factors forcing the sardine treatment for plot points and i'm tired of seeing people pretend that it's not. i can't exactly compare the gameplay side well given i started in 6.0, but i can break down the writing just fine and ew's fucking dire even if you consider how heavily i weigh 4.2-4.3 against stb.
i really hope they sideline the scions besides krile (or tataru, but i think she's probably going to live in side content for a while and krile has been badly neglected for so long). i don't want to interact with g'raha again anytime soon but especially not if his writing remains this bad. either acknowledge that he can be an asshole and let me be colder to him or stop bringing him up, i'm fine hating major recurring characters if they're actually well written (asahi, varis, thordan) and the catboy isn't at this point, and even when he was better-written there was still the major problem of "let me call him a dick or at least untrustworthy you pricks".
"what about estinien don't you like him" if they just have him being a weird hungry vagrant that only shows up sometimes to be deeply strange and get mobbed by baby mamool ja that is ideal, actually, i love when he's a bit of a freak. or they could have him get adopted by another fancy prince, having him repeatedly reel in powerful fancy prince types with the power of
dragon autism
would be the funniest shit on the planet.
but like. i want a break from even the scions i like, barring maybe the twins, and the twins are best when i don't have to refer to them as a unit, yknow? i want new people to take center stage. i'm not going to get that given the trailer, but god. please. make this the erenville-and-wuk lamat show with cameos by the scions and not the other way around. they can come back in 8.0.
(plus, doing that might mean we don't have the fifth expansion straight of y'shtola death fakeouts (i counted: arr/hw (given timing it's hard for me to define where catgirl blunt best belongs), stb (vs Zenos), shb (sailor moon catgirl), ew (ultima thule)). i am so fucking tired of her fakeouts. do literally anything else with her as a character i BEG OF YOU. we all know you aren't killing Miss Final Fantasy 14. her fans would flay you. the merch sales would plummet.)

Genuinely all of the main cast are my favorite characters. Though I do have to admit that I've also grown quite fond of the dummies and the floor masters over time.
...I imagine this answer isn't very satisfying so I'll tell you why I like each character but it's also 2:30 am for me and I'm very sleepy so this isn't a serious analysis or anything just pure feelings.
Warning incoherent ramblings and bad English
Sara: imagine being the strongest person in a death game and a group of people unanimously decide that you're their leader that will lead them to survival and there's also that one guy who hates you and wants you dead and also you're 17. I could never. I think Sara is a really cool protagonist honestly amd I also have a soft spot for caharcerts who are so very serious and powerful but also so silly..... I love Sara she's such a good character..... I love Sara..
Joe: ngl it was love from first sight. I love the 'happy go lucky best friend' archetype and he's so deeply caring and kind (and he can be pretty smart and a quick thinker too when the situation calls for it) and just.... ooghh im gonna cry
Keiji: weird guy relatable in the way he hates himself so much and is so convinced of being a bad person that he acts like one.
Kanna: Kanna!! Hi Kanna!! Haaaiii Kanna :333 she wears a bucket and acts like any 14 year old dragged in a death game would. She's very deeply trusting in contrast to Shin and it's sort of one of the biggest things about her character and I'm just :((( Kanna my dear precious baby girl.... Also do u ever think about how Kannas first trial was evaluating trust and Kugie trusted Kanna enough to let her use the key but Kanna couldn't save her and then she tells Sara to kill her and trust in Shin. Do u ever think about that. I just made that up its 3 am idk if this makes sense.
Q-taro: great character AND the fattest ass in the death game.
Shin: one of the best antagonists I've ever seen. Nankidai literally went 'what if the most reoccurring antagonist is Just Some Guy who is weak and kind and timid and is only an antagonist because he was told that he's doomed by the narrative' and it's AWSOME.
Reko: she's the normal one of the group if I'm being completely honest. I love her. I really enjoy that we see her in several different lights: the Reko who is kind to the weak (Sara's POV), the Reko who is harsh to the strong (Mishima's POV in YTTS), and the Reko before Alice's case, who is more abrasive and cold to everyone.
Nao: what can I say, I love my wife. She's grown A LOT during the events of the game and then DIED in a very sad way... Very tragic. Also I love that when bad stuff happens to her she thinks 'ok how can I incorporate this in my art' (how she wants to sketch the insects from the 'fly swatter' attraction and her fondness events in YTTS) very relatable tbh.
Kai: he has done nothing wrong ever and he's also very relatable.
Gin: WHO put him in a death game. He should be playing roblox not witnessing the horrors. He would call me a homophobic slur and I would forgive him.
Mishima: I genuinely believe he's actually the most powerful character in the game. Have you SEEN how easily he figured out that Shin was lying to him in YTTS and made him actually open up and befriend him instead. The only reason that his survival percentage isn't very high is because he puts others before himself and maybe in some simulations he died because of a trap involving trying not to smoke idk. I also LOVE his cartoonish mannerisms. I like to imagine he's very animated.
Alice: I would hate this guy irl and that's why I like him. He's so intense in everything it's hard to not find it enjoyable or at least entertaining. And then you find out that he's also actually pretty kind and protective of his loved ones and deeply sad and has a very tragic and complex backstory and it's the guy who says 'yikes!'.
...ok I won't write about the dummies and floor masters but I hope you were at least mildly entertained reading this. I have a lot more to say about every character and why I think they're all great but I'll need more time and energy for that

the Catch-Up post (tm)
would it really be me doing this if i didn't commit to doing something regularly and then go MIA for months at a time? i have obviously not stopped watching and reading things though, so time to fill in all of the things since whatever i talked about last. i actually did keep a pretty meticulous list, so this is all of the stuff i'm pretty sure. ok so here we go!
Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake Season 1 (despite it being the first thing on this list, i'm actually writing this "review" last. i don't know why, but it feels like i've got a real duty to this one because it was special to me. i loved this. it was so much fun, it was so interesting and incredible and kinda exactly what I wanted it to be. the songs were great, the episodes were hilarious and devastating, the ends of it all were really great. the characters were great, i can go on forever. I also think it's not perfect. small decisions i don't like, some tropes/ideas in it that i don't love[see the season 11 review down below for an example]. idk it wasn't perfect but i really really loved what it was and i'm very excited[and also a little skeptical to be honest] about the new season. this somehow sounds like i have no enthusiasm for it whatsoever. oh well, i care about it. source: just trust me.)
A Fistful of Dollars(why are guns in westerns so phallic what's going on with that. like dudes just runnin' their hand over their guns getting real sweaty staring into each other eyes. you sure you don't wanna be reaching for his gun sir. are you sure sir.)
Batman: Under the Red Hood(movie) (it's very good! at times it did feel a bit like jason and bruce were vessels for the moral conflict at the center of the story rather than characters within that story, but it was very good and enjoyable.)
Adventure Time: Season 11(THIS. THIS is the good stuff. a GREAT way to pick up after come along with me. the way that it reinforces marcy and PB's relationship while still commenting on their immortality[i'm so sorry, but the "together in every universe" thing is not really my favorite so it was very nice to see this after fionna and cake], the way it treats BMO as non-binary/genderqueer in some way is so fun, the way that it expands on finn as a character in the last two issues, gives minerva time on screen, develops an interesting conflict, all the interpersonal interactions. it's just so fucking good. LOVED this absolutely loved it.)
Adventure Time: Marcy & Simon(it's a neat story, but i feel like it gets held back because it doesn't know what it wants to be. the plot of the story revolves entirely around simon, but the emotional core of the story revolves around marcy. which doesn't sound contradictory, but the threat of the story revolves around simon turning back into the ice king and the reader is supposed to be really upset about it because marcy's gonna lose her dad again[which is totally fair] but after watching fionna and cake it just feels a bit hollow that marcy losing her dad again is the emotional driving force of the comic. simon was just a insane freak for 1000 years, surely he has some feelings about that, right?)
Adventure Time: Playing with Fire(i was really hoping that this was going to be a deeper sort of dive into finn and FP's relationship because the show only gave them a few episodes together outside of their getting together and their break up. it was not that. it's a cute little story for what it is, but it's not really anything special.
Death on the Nile(Kenneth Branagh Movie Version) [idk what everyone's got against Kenneth's Poirot, but he's killing it from the two movies I've seen so far. really beautifully shot, the plot and story moves along really well, and the ending had us GAGGED. so good. want to read the books now.)
The Mothman Prophecies (there's like. not even any mothman. what the fuck guys. the rest of the movie is weird and not very good. but what's up with the no mothman. literally named the movie after him, he's in one shot. come on now.)
The Sword and the Scoob(the beginning is agonizing, but the rest of it is funny and enjoyable. not incredible still, but hey.
The Saga of King Hrolf Kraki(an old northern european epic poem. it's hilarious, it's weird, it's good, it follows like 30 characters over 100 years. check it out if you like other epic poems/classic high fantasy stuff.)
Hero (this movie is fucking cracked out and it's incredible. they're flying around on walls and fighting and everything. it's so fun. the story telling devices are also very interesting. the use of color is super cool. also, apparently not very true to history.)
Book Lovers (i've read emily henry's other books, but this one did not impress. the main characters whose names i can no longer remember spend the whole book avoiding their emotional problems and then just have a happy ending fall in their lap at the end. they don't work to make that happen, don't really feel like they face their feelings about anything. it's just pages and pages of avoiding everything.)
The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec (this movie was boring. and it made not a lot of sense. but the mummies. they were incredible.)
The Heart Sellers (theatre show i went to see! tbh i don't remember a whole ton about it but it was funny and also emotional and i'd recommend it but i think the lack of emotional memory of it does say something)
The Owl House Season 1 (it's really cute[plus points for some gay, always a good time]! it feels very children's show in this season, which sounds dumb to say because it IS a kid's show, but every episode feels like it has a very obvious moral and structure despite the episodes being really fun. until the season finale hits. then it gets so real so fast.
Invincible Compendium 1(tbh i would probably struggle to comment on this part of invincible right now because i have read like 30 more issues by now and i cannot remember what is in this collection and what is in the second. so instead, i will say this. it's an interesting story that likes to take a more paranoid and pessimistic attitude to a typically upbeat genre. saving the day and stopping the criminal usually ends up in a lot of problems for mark, and the reappearance of supervillains and failures along the way begin to wear him down. i don't think it's the best superhero story ever, or even the most "real", but it is genuinely interesting and engaging.)
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein(movie) [it's an interesting retelling of frankenstein if you're looking for an adaptation that takes SOME liberties but not too too many. it's interesting, but it's not super great beyond that.]
Pikmin 4 (i LOVE pikmin and i LOVED this game it's so cute and fun and I love getting my little creatures and oh boy oh man this game rocks.)
Heartstopper Volume 5 (got it on the day it came out! after forgetting it was coming out... it's really good, maintains a healthy mix of fluffy moments and real character drama, and it's full of great little details and might be my favorite volume yet. it's really really good. the art remains really stellar as well, actually so good.)
The Owl House Season 2(the one where shit gets real. this season is a fucking banger from start to finish. the characters and interesting and fleshed out, the conflict is complex, the world is so interesting and it's all so cool and nice looking and emotional and OH MY GOD it just rocks so hard. i'm really nervous to watch the final season because i just KNOW some shits gonna go down but i absolutely will because this show is so good.)
Doctor Who and the Daleks (the movie not the serial) (one of the peter cushing ones! it's fun and kinda interesting, but mostly as an adaptation of the serial from the show. it's not really better than the show in any way, aside from the fact that i like the way susan is written a little more in this version. the color is neat too! but watch the original story first.)
X-Men: Days of Future Past(comic) [ok so i read this big compiled version that that days of future past, days of future present, days of future yet to come, and this like wolverine prequel thing. in a big surprise to me, i think days of future yet to come was my favorite. days of future present was also really good, and days of future past is a classic but the way that they return to the future to try and save the people who rewriting the timeline didn't save, to save ALL mutantkind from the sentinels of this universe. it's really sick actually. also the wolverine prequel is fine. it's not a bad story, but having it set in the future past universe doesn't really give the story anything aside from a little general flavor.)
Ultimate Spider-Man #1(the new one! it's looking SO promising, and the fact that it seems like it's going to be a semi-limited series is really nice to hear because it's the first storyline i'm picking up as single issues as they come out. adult peter is great, the characters and different universe are exciting, green goblin is looking interesting, as long as they don't ruin peter's life for the 59th time, i'm looking forward to the next issue!)
Superman Vs. Meshi Volume 1(i knew the premise, the style, a lot of things about this manga before going in. it was still surprising and ridiculously silly and funny and weird and really worth checking out. super funny and charming.)
Monty Python & the Holy Grail(ridiculous. it was very funny and clearly a touchstone for self-referential and meta humor for other things down the road. wasn't quite as funny as is rumoured though, maybe because its jokes are so frequently referenced and i've seen some of the clips before.)
invincible compendium 2(i've been writing like 3 sentences and then clicking off this draft for so long that i accidentally read like 30 more issues of invincible. my thoughts on it are pretty much the same as i wrote for compendium 1(go figure) but yeah i'm really enjoying it. won't discuss the story or anything because the show is coming out now though)
also i don't wanna put in pictures because it's 2am and i'm being lazy and i just wanna have finally posted this so wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Apologies for weird ask but i really want to hear all your thoughts on Feyd’s ill-fated Hoe Squad—
Not weird! I do have "talk to me about Dune" in my bio for a reason haha.
But ah yes, Feyd's poor, poor ill-fated Hoe Squad ... I have so many thoughts on them. I will try to keep it organized beneath the cut
Okay going to start my thoughts on Feyd’s like feelings about it all to have in mind while I talk about the Hoe Squad. As sympathetic as my perception of Feyd is, I don't really think he was like actually sad about having to kill them, not in any kind of meaningful way at least. I just don't think he really has the emotional capacity to actually be sad. Like from the moment he decided he didn't have another option I think he probably just shut it all off, got it over with as quickly as killing an unspecified number of people with your bare hands could possibly take, and then like did a bunch of drugs, worked out until he fell unconscious, and depression-slept for an entire 24 hours until some house staff had to brave the task of waking him up. Maybe gave himself a new haircut and wardrobe (which is what I think he did to deal with losing Piter as a weird pseudo parental/ teacher figure in his life) lol.
In the reverse, I don’t think he got any pleasure out of it either though. We know Feyd enjoys killing people. And that it's probably not the first time he's had to kill people that he didn't necessarily want to kill, because I imagine he didn't have much choice about going into the arena as a little kid. But I think the killing of these poor girls was probably different for him because it wasn't even like "ugh, Uncle's making me go to killing-people-sports practice" like he normally enjoys it because all just sport to him, like truly the same kind of enjoyment normal teen jock boys get out of football. But I really don't think Feyd had previously killed anyone in a context outside of entertainment. Like unlike Paul who has been forced to really fight and kill by the end of the book, Feyd's ridiculous cocky behavior in the final fight seals the deal for me that I think he has such little experience of killing outside of a thing of fun and games and conquest and having to kill these girls like that definitely hit him hard in a way he is simply not equipped to even address with himself.
NOW To actually go into the Hoe Squad: I'm not certain whether they're supposed to be like proper slave-concubines belonging exclusively to Feyd— like women who at least like somewhat """enjoy""" like a glamorous lifestyle of being a part of a very wealthy major house, and think of their place there as just sort of a sometimes-unpleasant vocation because they've never really had a life beyond that, VS like spoils of war type slaves stolen away from regular lives and therefore making their whole existence in House Harkonnen more of a constant violence against them. The proper concubines one is like a little less horrible though, so I personally prefer to think of them that way. I also think the early chapter where Gurney talks about his murdered sister having been a part of "a trooper's pleasure house" lends some credence to that because we can assume all women enslaved via violent means end up there vs like women who are slaves via it being just their born societal station are more likely to be in the actual Harkonnen keep. idk, I digress.
The sad caveat of Hoe Squad living a life they consider somewhat decent is that I think they wouldn't really be expecting to meet such a violent death. Like I’m sure they’re prepared for a lot of shit because all Feyd knows is do drug, have sex, and do violence, which unfortunately can be combined into one single horrible hobby, but I really don’t think any of them conceived of having it end with him killing them. He doesn’t have a temper like the Rabban, and he’s not as flippant with people’s lives like the Baron, so it’s not something he ever would have done on his own imo.
Like I truly think Feyd was like—and I mean in this in the loosest possible definition of the word— “friends” with these girls. He likes them as genuinely as  he is capable of, and they don’t completely loathe his presence either. My girlfriend said once that she imagines Feyd would just go the pleasure wing to just like talk to them, and I’m so here for the idea. Like he seems, for the most part, to have been as isolated as a kid as Paul, so who else does he even have his age to talk to? They’re a free captive audience he just relax around. It makes it all sadder, but also less horrible in other ways so I like it.
Because my mind works in visual sequences, I have this horrible little scene in my head where the girls like see Feyd come in and are just like "oh hi, Feyd. Lookin kinda pale, you okay? haha" and only upon seeing the Baron, who normally would not be anywhere near their rooms, just like silently all realize what's probably about to happen. Like this horrible silence followed by one single girl screaming and then all hell breaking loose .... awful awful awful.
The Baron is so evil for telling him “with your own hands”, which I assume means bare-handed, like to make it all so prolonged and personal, I don’t think there’s any way from him to avoid having to kill them all individually one-by-one. And I think it's especially fucked up that we are not told how many of them there are. Like, is Feyd murdering five girls with his bare hands? Ten? Twenty? Even with the smallest possible number I think it’s so horrible to imagine how long it must have gone on. And like it’s only natural that they would’ve tried to fight back, at least a little, which probably made it so much worse for any attempt Feyd made to make it quick for them.
I also have horrible thoughts about whether or not he had favorites among them, like did he have to decide—in the time it takes to walk from the Baron’s rooms to the slave wing—if he was going to kill his favorite girl first so she wouldn’t have to watch, or if it was better to let her live last even if she has to witness the death of the other girls? awful.
woof ... okay. That’s all I got. And now to clear our minds of violence against women, I invite you to close your eyes and imagine a toddler-aged Feyd who loves animals playing with some cute, exotic alien big cat cub that the Baron made Piter illegally import for him.

I am a little obsessed with part 5 but I have to say that your criticisms are... very correct. Part 5 is an absolute mess lol (for me it's kind of a love-and-hate thing. There are signs of a really good story there but it just kinda ended up as one big disappointment).
For me, I think the worst thing about part 5 was its ending. It pretty much stopped being enjoyable at all by the time the race for the requiem arrow started. It got really boring and just felt like a rush to end things as quickly as possible (I mean, come on. Giorno defeats the Boss, and then it immediately cuts to him as the new Don with no explanation of how or what he's even going to do.)
It doesn't sound like you care for Diavolo much, but I'm curious. Do you have any thoughts on Diavolo's fate at the end (you know. getting infinite death'd?) Do you think it was deserved? It's a big opinion-divider among p5 fans from what I've seen.
oh yeah no the "race" if you can call it that for the requiem arrow was SO FUCKING LONG
like somehow it BOTH feels like araki wanted p5 to be over so bad, yet it still DRAGS ON FOREVER. they really introduce chariot requiem whos a total baddie, does the coolest shit and introduces a VERY cool concept. then slowly??? walks away?? then they spend what feels like for EVER just talking about nothing, getting nothing done for EPISODES, it was EXHUASTING. then we lose chariot, and now get GER who is UGLY and has no where NEAR the amount of swag miss chariot did....
i will say p5 had the FUNNIEST ending for the reason of, who was left at the end of it. a 15 year old who's been on the job for what, 2 weeks? before being made the boss, some dumbass clown who, while i do think is funny and enjoy, literally is the funniest choice to live, and the old bosses daughter. like thATS almost as funny as who ended up alive at the end of p3. OH MY SPEAKING OF I FORGOT POLNEREFF ALSO WAS TECHNICALLY A SURVIVOR OF THE END OF THAT, AGAIN. REALLY FUNNY
and uh, i think its a lil funny GER stand ability was 1000 cycles of cringe fail deaths onto you whore.
idk man, diavolo was bad, so yeah i think its fine if he suffers. idk i didnt think about it very hard because it happened and they went, cool. we win. then just went on with their lives like nothing fucking happened.
also i think trish shoulda killed him... could you imagine spice girl as a requiem beast...
anyways beside the point, diavolo was ugly and i cant believe someone fucked him so i think its good hes dead lol

Writeblr Q&A
I have been tagged by @scifimagpie (ty for tag) so I shall attempt to answer these questions lezzgo
1. What motivates you to write?
The soup brain has too many thoughts & I have to get them out. Also spite because my asshole 8th grade English teacher said my writing assignment was only worth a C (he was the ONLY one btw I got consistently vv high grades before him) & my Chinese immigrant friend got marked down for not being good at English. Fuck you Mr English teacher
2. A line/short snippet of your writing that you are most proud/happy of. If not maybe share a line of someone else's work you love (just please credit them)
(idk have this one from early chapter 2 I guess)
“You mean to say that I was bait,” Talin said.
“Not the word I would use, but in a way, yes,” Red Wolf confessed.
“Why?”
“You have been on the throne for less than a year. If someone wants you dead this quickly, something is amiss. I’d like to find out what.”
3. Which OC makes you smile every time you think/talk about them and what are they like?
My boy Red Wolf. He's just...yes. Autistic werewolf puppy. Could definitely kill me without hesitation or talk me to death with weapons knowledge. I would thank him if he punched me.
4. What process of writing do you enjoy the most?
I like not writing.
5. What part of writing do you think you are the best at? (Yes stroke your own ego it's okay)
Worldbuilding, no doubt. I am simultaneously the best and worst at worldbuilding. You want a 2000-word essay on how languages & regional dialects evolved over time? I gotchu covered no problem. Want me to stop elaborating on how Hellhound magic is linked to the moon & actually write my sequels? Absolutely not.
6. What is something in the writeblr community is most enjoyable?
I think the writeblr community is chill. Like y'all are just here for a good time and I can 100% respect that & get behind it. I get to write unhinged answers to these questions & not feel bad about it bc I don't have to self-impose ridiculous societal concepts such as 'maintain a professional image on social media'.
7. A writing tool/device you use that helps you with writing? (It could be speech to text, a writing program etc)
Scrivener? Am I allowed to say Scrivener even though I use at most like 2% of their features. I am the kind of person who if given nothing but a notes app & a two-hour uni class to sit through will hammer out a full chapter in those two hours instead of paying any attention to class. On the other hand if you want me to actually write during my free time I'm sorry I'm too busy procrastinating writing with art & procrastinating art with gaming.
8. A piece of worldbuilding that you like in your own story? (It could be the magic system, a particular place in the story, a law etc)
This is not a wise question to ask me (see: question 5) unless the goal was to make me sit here for ten minutes typing out an entire essay's worth of worldbuilding word vomit, in which case well played. However for the sake of my own free time & sanity:
The legal system in Kies Tor is probably the single greatest thing I've ever constructed & it plays a crucial part in the plot & was built off the early British/European court system as well as my own special interests in law & criminology. In short it's trying its best but it's also deeply fucked up and I love making the fucked up parts fuck up my characters.
9. What piece of advice would you say to encourage others to write if they are having a rough patch?
Don't feel pressured to write. If you're staring at the same thing for weeks/months on end of course it's gonna get stale. Heck this Q&A post is the most I've written in weeks.
10. Tag some people whose works you love/have been your biggest supporters:
@witch-king-of-angstmar ofc (no pressure to answer tho) but other than that I never know who to tag. I have social anxiety what is an interacting. If you see this on your dash consider yourself tagged

oh oh challenge time! (not really but i couldn’t think of another, more entertaining way to word this lmao)
give a song you associate with each of your deities (to make it better, you can explain why you chose the song and if there’s a specific part that reminds you of them)
Ooooo i love shit like this because music is such an important part of my devotion! Also I'm not gonna pick the obvious ones, like the songs that are clearly referencing the deity. Instead I'm gonna choose more out of the box ones!
Apollo
Killing Me Softly With His Song by The Fugees
Idk if other Apollo devotees feel this way, but this song really just encapsulates how it feels being his follower especially the chorus: Strumming my pain with his fingers, Singing my life with his words, Killing me softly with his song, Killing me softly with his song, Telling my whole life with his words, Killing me softly with his song.
Artemis
Seven by Taylor Swift
One, the song is about childhood and specifically speaking to a childhood friend that you no longer can remember but still feel fondness towards. And as I spoke in my last livestream about Artemis, i believe childhood friendships are an important part of her realm considering her whole band of hunters and nymphs. And two, the song has one of my favorite lines to describe Artemis, her wildness, and her rule over the realm of childhood: Before I learned civility I used to scream furiously Anytime I wanted
Aphrodite
Bitch by Meredith Brooks.
Honestly the lyrics says it all.
I'm a bitch, I'm a lover I'm a child, I'm a mother I'm a sinner, I'm a saint I do not feel ashamed I'm your Hell, I'm your dream I'm nothing in between You know you wouldn't want it any other way I'm a bitch, I'm a tease I'm a goddess on my knees When you hurt, when you suffer I'm your angel undercover I've been numb, I'm revived Can't say I'm not alive You know I wouldn't want it any other way
Hermes
I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab For Cutie
Hermes being the guide of souls is an incredible comfort to me. The thought that his face will be the first I will see after I pass makes the idea of death a little less scary. I find this song really expresses that feeling of comfort and ease I feel knowing Hermes will be following me into the dark.
Love of mine, someday you will die But I'll be close behind I'll follow you into the dark No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white Just our hands clasped so tight Waiting for the hint of a spark
If Heaven and Hell decide That they both are satisfied Illuminate the No's on their vacancy signs If there's no one beside you When your soul embarks Then I'll follow you into the dark
I have plenty of other songs for these four and actually other deities but hopefully reading through these was enjoyable!

Sharpe's Eagle Daily Book Report
(I have finished listening to The Flight of the Heron which was super gay and fun! But i am so eager to return to the sharpe universe, i have missed it!)
🥹🥹🥹🥹 me when sharpe's eagle starts with talk about harper and sharpe being inseparable and hogan declaring that wellesley is fond of sharpe. fantastic start, love it, A+
wellesley making sure sharpe is safe by giving hogan command over him :3c god what a special boy
HOLY SHIT THE INCIDENT WITH GIBBONS IS 10X BETTER THAN THE SHOW. fucking yeeting him off his horse, amazing. and hogan walks up all 😃
"harper saw his job as keeping sharpe alive and amused" oh, amused you say :3c. god this is great, i love paragraphs of harper thinking about how much he likes sharpe hfhhdhss good fucking food
wait hgwb wait originally harper was 24???? i ..no. i refuse. like... god, no.
yaaaaay lawford is back! i've missed him! :D. hgsgsggsgs him looking at sharpe and literally saying "you're an idiot (affectionate)"
hhhh harper knowing sharpe's tells for when he's nervous. cornwell stop i cant love them any more ;u;
dad!sharpe when it comes to baby pendelton (sp?) heheheh very good.
hogan and sharpe yelling across the broken bridge all "haha simmerson is arresting us. i cant wait for wellesley to punch him." imgnshnim gonna cry with gibbons asking for the sword across the bridge and sharpe looks down at the river like "... come get it?"
idk why but lenox's death seemed more impactful in the episode? like i feel he and sharpe shared more Secret Exasperated Looks or something.
but anyway the interrogation in front of wellesley is about to begin and i'm SO excited for emotional vindication. especially since sharpe got arrested this time teehee :3c
HEHEHHEHEE oh yes that was enjoyable. love the extra of lawford smiling happily at sharpe after playing up being cold towards him
i cant believe hogan forced money on sharpe and told him it was so he'd have a chance to fuck a girl. what a wingman.
it also feels like wellesley is... not exactly friendlier here, but a bit less, like, violently cold. which is fun! or maybe it just comes mostly from getting a bit more of his pov for things? hmm dunno. but i'm loving eagle! more than rifles, actually, oddly enough. it is still funny to see harper go from "i'll kill you" to "i'll kill for you" lmao, though that effect also happened in havoc

Some random initial thoughts about episodes 4 and 5 of PLL OS:
Minnie "Mouse"
- I immediately assumed she would be pulling a 'Hard Candy' with the dude, but apparently she's running some type of therapy scenario for people who have missing children?
- The general agreed upon theory on Mouse backstory is that she went missing for awhile and these new episodes keep going in that direction.
Tabby
- it feels like Tabby is starting to release her anger more and that's pretty enjoyable to see. I wanted her to full on beat the shit out of Greg and/or Tyler, but breaking Tyler's nose was good too.
- The Wes and Chip stuff. I don't know what the deal is for Wes other than him wanting to be involved with Tabby. Like what's his overall point in the show? Tabby already has trauma and tells Wes off, so what's his purpose for still being alive on the show? Idk. Chip, I really feel like he's the one who assaulted Tabby. He gives off the same vibe as Beaver from Veronica Mars.
-Tabby and her many movie references but the Chucky quote/mention while Imogen was having her emotional breakdown about her and mom and everything just took the cake. LOL! Tabby got to chill way out with the references.
Marjorie/Noa's Mom
- I hope actually does dispose of her. Not just for being a jumpy, blame passing bitch in the past but for being one in the present as well. The fuck is wrong with her? She jumped with the quickness to say the pills the Sheriff found weren't hers. Marjorie is so quick to allow Noa to take additional blame if it means she doesn't get caught. I can't even be mad that A made Noa snitch. Marjorie deserved it.
Imogen
- I like that she's still investigating because some of the other girls kinda forgot or just wanted to put A behind them because they went two weeks with no new messages from him. Completely nuts for them to consider it as an option to forget about it. Also for Imogen this is the only way she can process her mom's death and her own unsure future.
-I know she has a lot going on but I'm surprised she didn't question why one of her moms former school mates denied having any knowledge of Angela or the og 5, but snitched to Sidney about the investigation later. Like that should have been a major red flag for her. But at least she found one source willing to help.
- so Imogen most likely did get assaulted and became pregnant because of it. Apparently it happened the same night as Tabby's assault. That's fucking rough
- I don't think the girls thought out the whole "Imogen can take over th house payments!" plan. I know they didn't think it out. No way that one Halloween party in their small ass town will allow Imogen to make monthly mortgage payments.
A
- okay, so it's very telling that A doesn't break locks to get into the house but instead uses the keys. Very telling. Telling what? No clue.
-So going back to one of my previous posts, it does appear A is a renegade killer based on his last victim. He's not sticking to a planned target or group of targets. But his killings aren't random either.
Faran
- I'm nervous about her plot because they got her looking crazy for this Karen = Kelly stuff. But I do like how the writers predicted that is the direction the fanbase would go with the twins. It's a total red herring.
-How many times is she going to be knocked out of this damn ballet? She lost the Odille part twice already! Girl, just go to Pittsburgh with your mom and get into a good dance school.
- More Tabby/Faran scenes are needed. I very much enjoyed their interactions. Faran's taunt to Kyle and Greg after Tabby punched Kyle was hilarious. I love her so much.
Kelly
- The Kelly stuff is all 'Single, White Female' about Karen. She wants to take her place and A's involvement gave her the opportunity.
- This finally proves, for me, that Kelly and A aren't working together. Kelly doesn't seem responsible for Karen's death. It's clear that she is willing to take Karen's place as the main twin now.

hot take: humans should literally not exist. could birds create a holocaust? no. they cannot enact that kind of cruelty, and so they cannot experience that sort of suffering. if we can wring joy or kindness from this existence, great, but we're creatures wired for evil, taking over the planet and killing everyone else- all the animals capable of love and enjoyment but not of our depth of cruelty. voluntary human extinction. really truly.
idk, i guess you were prepared to hear this answer, but i'm not feeling it. the idea that the anthropocene human order is fundamentally distinct or unique in the greater biosphere is a key pillar of the rhetoric most people use to justify acts like animal cruelty and environmental extraction - approaching the great problem of evil and suffering in the world while still being informed by the self-serving propaganda and culture of an empire leads to some confused places.
b/c consequentially speaking humanity is just one offender in a greater abattoir of pain and carnage. voluntary human extinction won't stop billions upon billions of animals from ripping into one another for food or starving to death for the lack of it. it won't stop an entire ecosystem of parasites who have to prey on other creatures from within just to reproduce, planting their young within the living and hollowing them out even to the point of undeath. it certainly won't stop the stranglehold of infection and disease that follows every animal on earth to the grave and drives them mad with fevers and worse.
if you want to argue from virtue ethics then that's on somewhat stronger ground, but i just can't bring myself to believe that sadism and cruelty are a uniquely human phenomenon, either. they're just extensions of play behaviors and emotions to domains of life like predation and dominance contests. life, the biosphere, is casually brutal, and if humans are special in any respect it's only in having the metacognition to reflect on that.
i don't think there are any easy one-step solutions to the problem of evil short of total biosphere extinction. and that's even less going to happen than voluntary human extinction is

Since I stalk the Wen Ruohan tag on here as well as ao3 and Twitter (I confess I'm a vilain f*cker I can't resist that evil dilf lol) I noticed lately some strange trends
The 1st one is the rise of the WRH/YZY fics, because people truly believe the reason YZY's marriage was so miserable and shitty was because of JFM somehow and not her toxic abusive ass and that YZY would be able to form a healthier happier relationship with anyone else especially someone like WRH who can and will have her head rolling down the stairs of his Palace if she tried to treat him half as bad as she did JFM. If YZY had married anyone else I doubt she would last a year of marriage, it's no surprise she picked JFM because he was the most likely to put up with her sh*t without retaliation. Another similar trend I noticed is the JC/WRH fics which is just ewww but it's even more weird when they make WRH the "good" father figure for JC because JFM is just sooo abusive and neglectful to poor baby grape that the tyrant who gave us Wen Chao is somehow a better father than him
Idk I feel my man JFM gets more shit than he deserves from this Fandom. Like once I saw a post of someone saying that if they could kill 3 characters in mdzs to make everyone's lives better it would be: WRH, JGS, JFM. I get the 1st two but what did JFM do to be on the same level as them? It's just strange to me how so many people hate JFM only because he saved an orphan from the streets and gave him a home and maybe sometimes praised him for doing good and wasn't madly in love with the woman who forced him to marry her and then treated him like shit all the time
"I confess I'm a vilain f*cker I can't resist that evil dilf lol"
- lol - Respect. <3
Honestly I'm surprised they didn't say they'd kill JFM, WWX, and LWJ. Then they can try to make jc the one true mc! and the book can be called: the Grandmaster of Greed, Hatred and Ignorance :*・゜゚・*☆.
I've seen the "Wen Ruohan would be a better father to sad grape bby jiang cheng >:-/ than evil JFM" discourse and I think it's absolutely hilarious. On one hand JFM gently corrects jc about not letting people die and jc stans are like "OMG abuSE!", even though JFM is your average reserved dad, and YZY is clearly the one who pours all that poison in jc's ear about his father's love being lacking. But yeah let's look at Wen Ruohan:
There were also a few instruments of torture. Iron rings, sharp spikes, silver hooks—all seemed strange. Just looking at their appearance could make one shiver in fear. Wei WuXian knew that these were probably made by Jin GuangYao. The QishanWen Sect’s leader, Wen RuoHan, had a moody, violent personality. He loved the sight of blood and sometimes took enjoyment in torturing those that offended him. Jin GuangYao was only able to capture Wen RuoHan’s interest by catering to his needs, making all sorts of cruel yet amusing devices. (Chapter 47) Meng Yao, “That’s right. It was him. Sect Leader, are you going to kill your foe right now, or drag him to the Fire Palace? My personal suggestion is to take him to the Fire Palace.” The “Fire Palace” was Wen RuoHan’s playground. It was where he collected thousands of torture devices for tormenting people. This meant that Meng Yao was unwilling to give Nie Mingjue a straightforward death. Meng Yao wanted to take him to Wen RuoHan’s torturing grounds and forge him through the devices that he himself had made until he finally died.
YES! Wen Ruohan who loved the sight of blood, whose love language was instruments of torture, and whose playground was a TORTURE PALACE would really be a soft fuzzy father to whiny, needy jc w his uninspiring cultivation. He'd probably carry him in his arms around the torture palace and they'd laugh over all the torture instruments- just father son things. WRH would definitely let YZY's Clan pressure him into marrying her and then permit YZY to scream at him in front of servants and treat Wen Clan like she's better than it. He definitely wouldn't raze Meishan Yu to the ground. On the other hand are jc stans saying that Wen Ruohan, an unhinged, abusive, power obsessed maniac, who doesn't give af about the common ppl, with a hard on for torture is more suited to jiang cheng's temperament and world views? because actually they might have stumbled onto something.
“Lan WangJi and Jin ZiXuan and those people can just die! Just let them die! What’s their deaths got to do with us?! To do with our sect?! Why did this have to happen?! Why?! “Go die, go die, go die! Everyone!!!” (jiang cheng, Chapter 58).
That Sect Leader Jiang was cracking a glowing whip right on the training field. The victim’s flesh and blood flew as high as his screams! A servant secretly informed him that the sect leader caught the wrong person again, that he hadn’t been in a great mood, and that he definitely shouldn’t be irritated in any way.” (Chapter 92)
ok I see it now.

Grading every Peter Lorre character from a movie I've seen on a scale of 1-10 part 2
•Roderick Roskolnikov-Crime and Punishment(1935)
Naturally, it's nice getting to see Peter play a leading man. It's a shame he didn't get to play such characters more as we really feel for Roderick with his guilt, fear of getting caught, his feelings for Sonya, his protectiveness over her and his family and of course, his lack of faith in humanity. The scene that sticks out to me the most is when he falls to his knees infront of his mother and she tells the story about the kitten he nursed back to health as a child. Partially because it mirrors the scene where he does the same thing to Sonya, but also because I find is striking how the story contrasts with Roderick as we see him in the film. And I'm not even necessarily talking about how he killed someone at that point. He just seems like such a broken man and its both heartbreaking to think of him as once being such an innocent and sensitive child, yet also believable, giving how hard he tries to take care of his loved ones. Not to mention, that scene where he takes care of his sisters creepy, dickhead suitor is nothing short of iconic
6/10 I'm starting to feel guilty for how low I'm rating such complex characters, but the heart wants want it wants
•The Hairless Mexican-The secret agent(1936)
The general is a fun character. Definitely the most enjoyable thing about his movie, although that's nothing you can't say about any Peter Lorre character. Still, THM has some great qualities of his own. His unique fashion, all of the images of him with the dog, him being called a lady killer and replying "not just ladies" and my personal favourite moment, when he makes his lady friend do that shrill squeal and then mimics it. Idk why, but that moment just tickles me. If there's one thing that sours me to this funky guy, it's the fact that images of him and Joel Cairo sometimes get mistakingly used interchangeably. Not saying thats a flaw with the character or his film obviously, just grinds my gears and this seems like as good a place as any to whine about it. 5/10
•Colonel Gimpy/Baron Rudolph Maximilian Taggar-Crack-up(1936)
The thing I love most about Gimpy is that he allows Peter to play both a funny, adorable, seemingly innocent nitwit and a suave, cunning criminal mastermind in one film. Sure, there are other characters Peter plays who have elements of both types of characters-such as Cairo, whos attempts to seem like a capable, respectable businessman are undermined by how others treat him aswell as his frequent temper tantrums or Polo who's a good natured, sensitive dope who's capable enough at tricking people to keep performing the same scam with Tanya and Andre, but even when playing a part is still a sensitive, chipper klutz. However, unlike those two, who's true personalities show through their acts, nothing of Baron Tagger is visible to people who only know Gimpy, the harmless eccentric with the trumpet. His act is so convincing he can admit to shooting a man seconds before that man's death is announced on the radio and because Gimpy is obviously a harmless eccentric, the whole thing will be brushed of as an eerie coincidence
7/10. I'm gonna be saying this a lot, but Peter was too good for this flick
