My issue with img ID on this site is that it's done in good faith most of the time, but just as often assigns a mood or emotion or interpretation of what is depicted that is very much subjective and can end up being straight up wrong or misleading.

so I've mostly listened the 2018 Twin fantasy album, and not as much the 2011 Twin Fantasy (mirror to mirror)
But boy am I glad I decided to check it out rn. These lyrics in Famous Prophets (minds) hit so hard. And the entire vibe is so like, idk deep, dingy, lo-fi ig lol, the ambience is so different.
And don't get me wrong, Famous Prophets (stars) is also great, like I really fucking love that song, but I'll probably be listening more to minds for a bit, it'll be more impactful in my playlists (in grave contrast to wallows songs where I sometimes low-key don't register when they have played lol)
The old version of Twin Fantasy definitely has it's charms, but I do notice like it's lower quality (fidelity ig) so I probably will go back at some point idk. Tbh I usually prefer the live versions where available, some of those are so neat.
*casually includes this*

the idea of my blog becoming more accessible to people who use screen readers is kind of cracking me up considering my established refusal to tag slurs and nsfw. maybe i should start doing that also

latest cat update
she’s still like ten years old
she has kitty cat arthritis
she’s on a shot for said arthritis that lasts ~30ish days at a time
she’s back to regularly harassing one of my roommates as pictured above
in full seriousness though, emily the cat is feeling much better than she was just last week. all three of us are very relieved that she’s feeling well enough to bother A like this again.

[ID: Magnus Archives fanart of Jon reading from stacks of paper with the beginnings of distress on his face as a huge eyeball looms directly behind him. Jon is a thin brown man with chin-length hair, and his eyes are glowing the same yellow green of the eye behind him. The background is a purple-to-gray gradient filled with empty speech bubbles. img description below the cut
A promotional poster for the official annual re-watch stream of Marble Hornets. The image is of a crumpled and torn up piece of paper with mismatched black letters. Each letter has a different font which makes the text appear jarring. The text reads:
"Marble

Behind the crumpled piece of paper is a distorted image of a forest at night. The distortions create hue shifts that make the image look primarily red and black. /end ID

New Trigun is really good! But I can't help but notice there is a CRITICAL LACK of MILLY
[ID: Trigun fanart of Milly, who's smiling nervously and curling her hands over her head in an awkward pose. She exclaims, "Absolutely muffin!" End ID]

Still really happy with how this spread in Amphiox turned out. Unfortunately I couldn't display it in full in page-a-day webcomic format, but here is how it's meant to be viewed.
[img] Full-bleed, two-page spread depicting an airship village over which manta rays are flying through the air. There's a hodgepodge of somewhat airworthy vehicles and gadgets, tended by villages. The village has a silly little farm and enough food for everyone to eat. There are cars, helicopters, a giant airship, and hot air balloons for navigating the land, air, and sea...provided people can get the things working in the first place.
For a more complete description of both pages, with dialogue included, please visit http://amphiox.hmcgill.art. It is a webcomic and each page has a full transcript. [/id]
