Sword gays showdown, round 1, bracket two

For Demoman:
Demo occasionally fights with a talking haunted sword called Eyelander who loves cutting heads off, they're also sort of frenemies, it's a really fun dynamic since Demo seems a lot more energetic when fighting with him.
First, although the main focus of the character is on bombs, he has a menagerie of various swords that are equipable items, with a Demoknight being a popular "subclass". He isn't canonically lgbtq+ but no one in tf2 is cishet and have you heard the voicelines.
For Andy:
she is master of weapons, and also just a queen in general. also also, she’s highkey the pinnacle of gay pining (girlfriend trapped in a cycle of death/rebirth at the bottom of the ocean, and andy spent centuries looking for her to rescue her)
Has been a sword (or more commonly a labrys, or improvised weapon) gay for thousands of years
She's an unknowably old immortal and unspeakably skilled in any/all forms of combat. She typically uses her signature axe but per the other characters, "she's forgotten more ways to kill than entire armies will ever learn." Until recently, an unkillable gay (at least not permanently). She's bitter, she's badass, she's even bisexual. Peace and love on planet Earth.
Andromache is super tough, strong, and can beat anyone in a fight. She can also beat the bury the gays allegations as she can die but does not stay dead. She has been alive since est. 4700 BCE and has been protecting humanity with her blade skills for over 6000 years. She has been the leaders of various communities and worshiped as a goddess in several cultures. Andy is the founding member of the Old Guard, where she fights side-by-side with her life long love Quyuh (or Noriko as she is known in the comics, who is also a badass warrior and archer). Andy knows countless languages and is an expert in all weapons but her main weapon of choice is her labrys (a very lesbian blade weapon, so I hope it can be excused that it is not a sword). She has forgotten more ways to kill a man than any person/army will ever know in their lives. And yet even with this ferocious and tough skill-set, she is still so kindhearted, caring, passionate, selfless and protective of her found family and will do anything for them and for her love (even during the present complicated situation which i will not outline bc spoilers for The Old Guard). Premise of SBI SCP AU
This is an au that has consumed me. This blog will just be a terrible mess of whatever I’m stuck on for the week, likely with little explanation and heavy spoilers. Anyway, the general vibe + anomalous properties are below cut:
Philza: The Zilant. Is the immortal concept of fire and fury, which pretends to be a dragon, which pretends to be a human. Maintains his personhood by attaching himself to mortals he calls his ‘Collected’. Currently: Tommy, Wilbur, The Blade, and Tubbo. Additionally, Philza is very intent on keeping any promise he makes and was kept in the Foundation exclusively because they’d captured his Collected and made a deal. Gives great dad advice, except when the advice is ‘let me murder them for you <3’
Tommy: The Instigator. Has a blood red liquid on his hands that grows when he’s scared. When people touch it, they become aggressive to anyone but Tommy. At low TI-Red levels this leads to things like bickering, but it escalates to physical violence and brutality. When TI-Red levels consume him and he thinks he’s going to die, he summons The Blade. Lived as a normal human and met Wil, Phil, and The Blade after a summoning at 15; visited the homeless guys occasionally till the Foundation captured at 16. Abandonment issues, highly touch starved, used as a Thaumiel. Collected Tubbo.
The Blade: The Blood God. Is a massive boar behemoth with voices in his head. When attacked (or if there’s an orphan), becomes The Blood God, who will bend the universe to ensure he wins. The Blade only comes back when the challenge has been completed. Grew up as a monster in the woods, but pulled himself up out of the voices, figured out what was him and what was The Blood God, and established his own personhood. Somehow has a college degree, met Phil and Wil during a gap year. Loves gardening and murdering people for Tommy. Also managed to come out of the Foundation the least traumatized, iconic.
Wilbur: Soot. [tags are noms Wilbur or scp Wilbur if you want to block] His legs magically rearrange so he is the tallest humanoid in the room. Oh also the void in the side of his face that eldritch abominations claw their way out of. Was basically a feral starving child till ~14 when Philza forcefully adopted him. A chronic insomniac with a heart of gold and a tongue of silver, held together despite the inherent contradictions between being a supreme survivalist and a drama hoe. Memory issues because he represses basically everything.
Tubbo: The Pollinator. Is a honeycomb skin suit for approximately 400,000 bees. Uses they/them we/us pronouns, because they are a Hive mind/system containing at least three humans: a Little, a Foundation employee, and a lawyer/farmer. Tubbo grew up mostly normal, albeit in secret. The most recently captured by the Foundation, and a staunch pacifist. This causes them to be at odds with Philza, who did a few murderous rampages too many, and The Blade, for the reason above and also because he destroyed their legs. But they stick around because they’re attached to Tommy.
Basic vibes are found family, hurt/comfort, questions of morality, and trauma at the hands of the Foundation and each other. Things get messy, but it’s all bound together with love at the end of the day.

Marsh giants dwell in desolate swamps, shunning the Icons and other giants for their chosen gods. Most marsh giants worship brutal, violent gods, ones avoided by the Priestess and even the Crusader. They are not organized or militant enough to appeal to the Crusader, instead being insular and petty, sacrificing captured travellers in the hopes of getting enough power to rise up against the Icons. So far, this hasn't panned out greatly, though some marsh giants are being born with powerful mutations such as scales, tentacles, and occasionally even powerful innate magics, so perhaps someday the marsh giants may rise up to greater influence.

Rune giants are the creation of a previous Archmage, fusing together several powerful types of giants and forging powerful magical runes into their flesh. These runes grant protection from elements and can unleash great showers of elemental energy, but most importantly they allow rune giants to take control of other giants. Frost, fire, stone, cloud, and even storm giants fall under the sway of a rune giant's magic. This Archmage used his armies of enslaved giants to create a powerful empire for himself, but fell when his rune giant followers rebelled. The rune giants then splintered, as they may be nearly immortal but have no way of creating new members of their species, and in the Ages since their numbers have dwindled. Now just a few exist hidden in the edges of the world, each with a small empire of giants under their control, with failing hopes to become true kings.

Miss: 60 damage of the chosen type.
Limited Use: 1d3 times per battle, never two turns in a row.
Command Giants: As a standard action, the rune giant can command two nearby lower level giant allies to make melee basic attacks as a free action.

She's an unknowably old immortal and unspeakably skilled in any/all forms of combat. She typically uses her signature axe but per the other characters, "she's forgotten more ways to kill than entire armies will ever learn." Until recently, an unkillable gay (at least not permanently). She's bitter, she's badass, she's even bisexual. Peace and love on planet Earth.
Andromache is super tough, strong, and can beat anyone in a fight. She can also beat the bury the gays allegations as she can die but does not stay dead. She has been alive since est. 4700 BCE and has been protecting humanity with her blade skills for over 6000 years. She has been the leaders of various communities and worshiped as a goddess in several cultures. Andy is the founding member of the Old Guard, where she fights side-by-side with her life long love Quyuh (or Noriko as she is known in the comics, who is also a badass warrior and archer). Andy knows countless languages and is an expert in all weapons but her main weapon of choice is her labrys (a very lesbian blade weapon, so I hope it can be excused that it is not a sword). She has forgotten more ways to kill a man than any person/army will ever know in their lives. And yet even with this ferocious and tough skill-set, she is still so kindhearted, caring, passionate, selfless and protective of her found family and will do anything for them and for her love (even during the present complicated situation which i will not outline bc spoilers for The Old Guard). Honkai Star Rail free pulls return for 1.2 as everyone’s fave arrives
We're getting close to Honkai Star Rail 1.2, which means it's almost Kafka time. That's right, if you've been counting down to the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 release date in order to get your hands on the anime game's most awaited character, the time has finally come. The Honkai Star Rail creator HoYoverse has also revealed that it will once more be giving away free Star Rail Special Passes, giving you an extra set of free pulls to assist in bringing her home.
The Honkai Star Rail banners for 1.2 feature Kafka and Blade as their headlining stars. As the first character you’re ever introduced to in Honkai Star Rail’s opening alongside hacker Silver Wolf, Kafka makes an immediate impression – after all, she’s the person who actually awakens your Trailblazer in the first place. We’re sure that’s the reason so many of you keep calling her ‘mommy.’
After giving you a mysterious introduction to your journey, Kafka leaves with the iconic line, “You won’t remember a thing except me.” Ever since then, I and many other players have been eager to get her on their team. It’s not just her captivating personality and the excellent voice work of Cheryl Texiera that are responsible for this – Kafka is the first character you actually play as, and she’s a stylish and powerful lightning-wielder with an explosive finish.
Of course, she’s not alone, and her phase one counterpart for Honkai Star Rail 1.2 is looking super strong as well. Blade is a destruction character that uses wind, and he brings some really interesting health-based tricks to the table. As a man cursed with immortality, Blade uses that power to his benefit – he can sacrifice a chunk of his own HP to deal bonus damage, and builds up stacks as he gets injured that can be unleashed to devastate his foes.

The good news for those of you planning to pull for Blade or Kafka is that HoYoverse is giving out ten free Star Rail Special Passes. Much like in the Honkai Star Rail 1.1 update, you’ll be able to claim ten passes by checking in to the Gift of Odyssey event over the course of seven days. You’ll get one Special Pass most days, with two on day three, and three on day seven.

Total War: WARHAMMER III new DLC’s and a big update
Update 2.0 for Total War: WARHAMMER III offers big changes for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Due to the efforts of Feral Interactive, and of course, Creative Assembly. Plus the base game has a small discount on Steam and Humble Store.
SEGA Europe Ltd. and Creative Assembly are eager to announce the launch of Champions of Chaos and the Immortal Empires Beta for Total War: WARHAMMER III. Here are the Update 2.0 details, it's huge.
Champions of Chaos:
Fit for a champion, this Lords Pack welcomes four new Warriors of Chaos Legendary Lords. So, instead of the usual two, each of whom is aligned with one of the four ruinous Chaos Gods. Take on campaigns of ruin with new gameplay mechanics. While wreaking havoc with over fifty new battlefield units. With a brand new story due to see you rise from pawn to power.
Four New Warriors of Chaos Legendary Lords:
The Champions of Chaos have risen through the ranks in Update 2.0. All due to their infamous deeds to become the favoured of the four Dark Gods. They are; Valkia the Bloody, the deadly but daemonic consort of Khorne. Festus the Leechlord, the deranged plague doctor of Nurgle. Azazel, Prince of Damnation, the ecstatic heir of Slaanesh.
