I was just thinking about how gay men refer to each other as Sue and that many gay men around Harry call him Sue. Harry Lambert is one of many, he always calls Harry Sue and he uses it to describe gay men in general. Like "in this club full of Sues". On IG he has also used #gay on pics of Harry. I remember Nick Grimshaw doing it too. Do you think it's a case of gay men just reading each other or that Harry is open about his sexuality with anyone he works with? A lot of people he has worked with has referenced his sexuality in one way or another... fashion designers, co stars in movies, supporting acts etc. It does make me curious if he plans on CO one day as there is a ton of stuff out there that references his sexuality and I don't know if it would be there if he was planning on staying closeted. Other celebrities go out of their way to scrub that stuff from the internet. But I suppose it doesn't have to mean anything. Like you said, things don't have to make sense to us.

But it's really important not to look at what particular gay men do and assume they represent all gay men.

I don't think Harry Lambert or Nick Grimshaw have ever posted a picture of Harry with #gay. I'm unsure what you mean about a lot of people he's worked with referencing Harry's sexuality. Or what you mean by other people scrubbing it from the internet. I don't think we can tell whether or not he's planning on coming out from what we currently see.

I'm really struggling with the idea that the options are that Harry Lambert and Nick Grimshaw were just reading Harry as gay - or that Harry is open with everyone he works with. Harry Lambert and Nick Grimshaw know about Harry's sexuality because they know him very well (the idea that they might just be like 'oh vibes' is absurd). But that doesn't tell us about how Harry interacts with everyone he works with.

Just wrote the ending for the next APWH chapter!

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)

At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.

Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

Every time I see that G--gle phone photoshop commercial my heart is filled with infinite sadness, like, yeah it's cool you can have a good family photo, it's cool you can do that, but god, there is something to be said for the honesty of a family photo where you're blinking, or crying, or have ugly wrinkles.

What is too unsightly for you? Would you swipe-click-replace out the image of my cousin crying on our Florida trip family reunion photo? Would you remove the plastic snake I have clenched in my grip, which I still have to this day? Would you scoff at the wrinkles around our eyes and the strands of hair on our faces as we squint into the wind, the day before the massive storm? Would I remember it if I didn't have these reminders, if the picture was perfect and clean, all children in a row with perfect gleaming white tombstone tooth smiles? No tears. No plastic snake.
