Morning classes are really bad for people who are a regular insomniac

It’s wild to me that so many of us were going insane over the idea of Buck and Eddie’s roles being reversed when it came to seeing the other injured, and we are actually getting it. It’s always been Buck reacting to Eddie, and now that we are getting snippets of the reverse I’m struck by how visceral of a reaction we are getting out of Eddie.
I honestly didn’t know how they’d play it with Eddie being so stoic and collected usually, but considering his growth from the breakdown last season I also thought they might show him with a more emotional reaction ala Buck and the mud.
I just didn’t think we’d get him sprinting up a ladder screaming for Buck.
Or that we’d get him shoving Bobby out of the way and begging Buck to talk to him.
Or hearing him tell Chimney he was taking over once they got to the hospital.
Or the tear.
Or “do more”.
It’s everything I’ve been wishing they’d show and I seriously can’t believe it’s going to be canon. Y’all we’re actually getting the worried!Eddie arc—prepare to be sick of me. This is my Joker.

God that shit reminds me of the Good Place where the idea was human lives have become more complex and thus it’s impossible for the average human to be able to do anything without it causing harms to others. Like there’s literally a character in that show, dramatically so, who goes to the bad place because he’s paralyzed by indecision because he’s a philosophy professor and is obsessed with always making the right choice.
Everyone is selfish. Everyone only thinks about themselves. Everyone will spend hours convincing themselves they’re right with something when from someone else’s perspective they’re being horrible. Everyone is a villain in someone else’s story.
I DON’T FUCKING CARE!
Just tell me how to fix it! Wait you don’t know because we’re all idiots trying to figure this out? Then shut the fuck up! Who the fuck are you preaching to???!!!!!

Honestly it’s a little poetic that I’m really close to filling all the pages in my Zelda journal right around the time that I’ve decided I might just not consume any more new Zelda content from Nintendo
I still plan to finish playing the games on my list and I still plan to make art for the games dear to my heart but I’m just so disappointed with the new direction and scorn the Zelda execs have on their own franchise. It’s times like this where I’m glad I didn’t become a Zelda fan until two years ago, im glad I went into this series being more critical and my view of the series wasn’t tinted by nostalgia
I’m also not surprised by this this manner from the execs. The adventure of link is in my top 5 favorite Zelda games, I love it a lot but the execs consider it a major failure. However, ocarina of time would not exist without the adventure of link. A link to the past wouldn’t exist. Hell the triforce of courage is from the adventure of link. This game was the stepping stones to so much early Zelda lore, design, and storytelling and plays such a huge role in the franchise yet it’s constantly shat on by the execs and the fans. Yes it’s a super hard game, but overtime the issues with difficulty have been addressed both officially (save states through ports) and unofficially (hoverbat’s quality of life modifications). Just because the team didn’t have a firm grasp of the gameplay for the series they wanted to use doesn’t mean the whole thing should be thrown away.
All that being said that it’s not shocking at all that Aonuma has turned around to spit on all the older linear games. Many of which HE directed and are critically acclaimed and beloved. Ugh I’m just glad I have tunic, what a stellar game that understands zelda better than its own execs
