hear me out, yknow how in quests story the loser ex shows up? how would nightowl react if mc’s crazy ex showed up, like hes just aggressive and insulting and was the one who made fun if their looks and still acts like that. i mean if nightowl went crazy on onion over wanting tk call, i cant imagine what hed do with a toxic ex

this took me a while to get to for which i am sorry i'm just very small brain and get distracted easily by new ideas skalsdkf BUT this was a super fun idea and i've always wondered how the interactions might go if societyboy showed up in the other routes. for the sake of ease, this is going to take place post-nightowl good ending so we're all happy vibes and in love but then uh oh mc and nightowl are out on a date and guess who they bump into. everyone's least favourite ex societyboy. madness and bad vibes ensue. no major warnings other than societyboy being his usual toxic self to mc/nightowl. i hope you enjoy anon and apologies again for how long it took !!

"Okay but you can't tell me that wasn't insanely better than the first one. I straight up don't believe you prefer the first over that," Nightowl declared as the two of you left the movie theatre with linked arms and what little remained of your shared popcorn in his other hand. You'd just seen the sequel to a movie you'd watched together back when these regular cinema dates were as new and fresh as your relationship with Nightowl. And, as was customary, a lighthearted debate about the movie was shared as you walked across the street to the same small café you always visited after such dates. It was a pretty casual place, one that suited you both perfectly with their light meals and comfortable atmosphere—especially after sharing generous amounts of popcorn between the two of you. The sun was low in the sky, making its steady descent and taking the once blue sky with it, leaving only a myriad of warm oranges in its wake. The hum of the golden hour made Nightowl's blonde hair seem even warmer, bordering on a strawberry blonde as he shielded his eyes from the glare of the setting rays.

"Sure, it might be better, but I still like the first one more."

"Babe, that makes literally no sense. If you admit this one was better, surely that means you like it more?" Nightowl asked, opening the door to the café and gesturing for you to enter first. Laughing at the juxtaposition between his confused exclamations and the sweet gesture, you led the way to your usual table. Nightowl followed, still reeling off his confusion at your statement. Hearing him ramble about the movie was cute, especially seeing the spark in his eyes as he got increasingly more emphatic over his stance. Even the waiter who brought your food over was smirking to himself as Nightowl quickly resumed after the brief intermission, just as passionate about the topic as though he had never paused. Listening to him was an easy task, his excitement and enjoyment infectious as you sat in near silence, offering frequent nods and hums every so often.

As Nightowl paused to take a sip of his coffee, you couldn't help but jump in to compliment his ardent reasoning. "You're so cute, Nightowl. You know that, right?" You mused, leaning your chin on your hand as you listened intently. Nightowl's face near set on fire, a bright redness covering his cheeks as he flustered at the genuine compliment. His eyes flickered between yours and the ring on his finger he'd begun absentmindedly playing with.

Before Nightowl could offer up any sort of quick-witted reply, the sound of a chair sliding up to your table stole away your attention. And, more importantly, the figure who had sat themself down at your table without a single word or query if they could do so. Recognition sank like a heavy weight in your stomach at the realisation at who had joined you both. His was a face you likely would never forget, though it was certainly one you wished to wipe your memory clean of. Nightowl was apprehensive as he looked at the new arrival, noticing how you recoiled, face twisting in unpleasant surprise. His hand moved under the table to take yours, a gentle thumb rubbing softly on the back of your hand in reassurance.

"Come on, aren't you pleased to see me?" Your ex asked, his voice a taunting challenge that you couldn't escape. "You always were too weak for my taste, anyway."

Nightowl's eyes flared at the comment, anger coursing through him. Taking a focused breath to remain controlled, he replied on your behalf. "Clearly they're not so if you could leave us to our date in peace, that'd be great." Nightowl didn't bother masking the contempt in his voice that betrayed the forced smile he gave your ex.

"So this is who you left me for? Really? Didn't know you liked pathetic guys like this."

Nightowl scoffed, starting to move in retaliation before your hand tightened in his, a silent warning to stay calm. He reluctantly stay seated, clearly seething at the underhanded remark while you spoke up, unwilling to hold eye contact with the ex you'd so desperately wished to forget. "Who I date has nothing to do with you so please just leave us alone."

"And where's the fun in that?" Societyboy quipped, leaning to steal a small bite from your plate. You looked back up at Nightowl, a silent pleading in your eyes. While you usually could hold your own in situations like this, Societyboy was a different case entirely, all kinds of terrible memories threatening to resurface with each moment he lingered.

"You know I was thinking—" Societyboy started.

"God help us all," Nightowl muttered, taking a frustrated sip of his drink and looking away from your ex.

Societyboy continued on, not bothering to acknowledge Nightowl or his expression of annoyance. "I was thinking about us. Getting back together, I mean. Because come on, let's be real, whatever this is will hardly last." Societyboy gestured between you and Nightowl, a look of disdain on his face that dissolved into humour as he saw the anger in Nightowl's face once more. Whether he was being honest about wanting to get back together or not was irrelevant; regardless of his intentions, there was no doubting he wanted to push Nightowl's buttons as much as was possible in order to spark some kind of outburst.

"Seriously what is your problem? Can't you see we don't want you here?"

Societyboy raised his hands either side of his head, feigning innocence in the encounter. "Damn, can't a guy just talk to his ex in peace?" He then turned his attention toward you. "You're really cool with dating a guy who won't let you have friends?"

Of course he'd try and twist this into being Nightowl's fault somehow. It wasn't anything new for Societyboy and you knew that—you weren't about to let yourself relinquish to his usual manipulative ways or fall into his trappings ever again, especially not when you had Nightowl by your side.

"And you really think they'd want to stay friends with an asshole like you? Do us all a favour and get the fuck out of here. Actually," Nightowl hesitated, looking at you with a dreamy smile that was miles away from the glare he's given your ex. "I've finished eating, have you, love?"

Sensing exactly where Nightowl's intentions lied, you nodded. "I have. The perfect time for us to get home, don't you think?" Nightowl beamed as his hand clasped yours, the two of you moving in sync as you rose from your seats. Societyboy floundered for a moment until he followed suit, clearly thrown off kilter by the way you both dismissed him. Whatever he'd expected of the encounter hadn't come to fruition, stealing away whatever leverage he's believed he had at the beginning of your encounter with him.

"Oh I see what's happening here. You're running away 'cause you got scared," Societyboy accused, stumbling on his words as you and Nightowl made to leave the café. The two of you shared an amused laugh, completely unwilling to entertain him any further. Nightowl's only response to Societyboy was to throw his arm around your shoulders, pressing a kiss to your cheek as you followed another couple leaving the café. Such a display of affection was common with Nightowl, though he did play up to your audience of one as he trailed further kisses until he reached your lips.

"He wanted a show so we might as well give him one, right?" Nightowl proposed, wiggling his eyebrows with a teasing delight. Playfully pushing his face away, you smiled as Nightowl began to pout. "So mean."

"The meanest." Your hold on his jaw was light, angling his face to leave a whisper of a kiss before intertwining your hand in his. "But thank you for handling him back there. I never thought he'd find me here."

Nightowl's free hand gently soothed your cheek, his expression softening as he spoke. "Always. Anytime you need someone to help fight your battles whether they be gross exes or bad days then I'm your man. And he really was the grossest of exes."

A laugh left your lips at the way Nightowl's nose scrunched, his head shaking slightly as though the mere thought of Societyboy was enough to unsettle him. The reaction was definitely warranted, but you still thought it was sweet how much Nightowl cared and how quickly he'd come to your defence. It wasn't a surprise that Nightowl had done so but being faced with your ex really proved just how much happier you were with him. How much you had needed to meet someone like him to forget all the worries and fears your ex had instilled in you during the time you'd been with him. Nightowl's hold on your hand was comfort personified, his presence an enveloping warmth comparable to that of the setting sun behind you both, illuminating the street ahead in the last of its golden light before the moon took over. And as the sun set on yet another perfect date with Nightowl, slight bumps in the road aside, you smiled in contentment for all that lay ahead for you both.

im vv proud of that jungwon one i think (conceptually and process-wise at least) it may be one of my favorites ive ever made .. it was just so FUN and i made it in a complete creative fever at like 2 am or something after very suddenly drawing a connection between that jungwon shot and the fallen angel painting. like i wasnt even planning on doing anything artistic that night but then all of a sudden i Had To Make Art Out Of It.

also ill tell you a secret (that isnt really a secret because ive told multiple people and made several posts about it already): i am currently working on a far more detailed heeseung art piece ... its coming along very well so far and im very happy with it !! all the facial features and clothes are done and im just stuck on the hair now—im determined to actually FINISH it and not just abandon it like i have some pieces in the past (theres this one sunoo piece that i started and got pretty far into last year in may after carnival era... and i have not touched it since. i WANT TO. but i was new to digital art at the time and used a strategy that took, to put it plainly, Way To Much Fucking Time, and in order to complete the piece with consistent style id have to keep using that same strategy and im honestly going to avoid that for as long as possible)

okay now on the subject of vampires . omfg LITERALLY the vamps probably do so much shit that would not fly if they were your average growing, acne-ridden teens... they are, fundamentally, the weird kids of decelis, but nobody notices because they're both jocks and attractive and i bet it drives all the people that ARENT attracted to them up the wall to no end. like maybe theres a scenario where a new student transfers to decelis like sooha does, except theyre some variety of aroace and completely immune to the brothers' "charm". and they come into the school with basically all their classmates aggressively simping for this group of seven dudes and it piques their curiosity a bit, because what's so special about these guys to get the entire school population in love with them? then they actually SEE the brothers and theyre just like. what. because yeah they ARE objectively pretty attractive and theyre good at sports and stuff but also theyre just. DORKS. and the student is like these guys? really? yall are simping for these guys? damn. okay

in a world where the decelis authority ARENT aggressively anti-vampire and actually let the brothers into the school to PROTECT THEM... maybe the staff are all perfectly aware of who the "phantoms" wandering around the school after hours ARE but they dont do anything to stop it because it discourages the other students from breaking curfew. and i imagine someone figures it out at some point—either a student comes across one of the "phantoms" for the first time after only hearing rumors of them and screams a little out of fright, only for heli to step out of the shadows and be like "omg im sorry i didnt mean to spook you im just taking a walk." or yeah like you said a student sees a phantom with one yellow eye and one blue... then sees solon in class the next day... and cue the "oh yeah, its all coming together" meme LMAO

danny phantom season 2, eps 1-5 thoughts! opening the new season with episodes like these kinda blew me away. we had multiple serious episodes INCLUDING a two parter!! also, valerie :)

-I don't know what I expected s2 to open with. but danny portal incident in more detail was not it. (also, I hate to break it to you, sam, but danny's parent's bigass ghost hunting rv def chugs more gas than those vehicles, lmao. unless it runs on ectoplasm or something...)

-WHY WAS DESIREE IN THE SEWER? HAVING TEA WITH IT DOWN THERE?? Her making the giant cow come alive is a boss move, we've almost had all of my fav animals as ghosts now <3 I also don't like how sam was expecting danny to just, haunt the place so the cars wouldn't get sold? I KNOWWW I know she's 14 (and I had a very annoying phase like this, I think I mentioned in a previous post, I GET IT) but they're HIS powers, and messing with (1) dealership will not really put a dent in sales overall because they can just move the cars to another sales lot, and it certainly wont change the industry anyway, it's more of a minor annoyance for (1) location. Also, usually people who work at car sales places work on commission, so if they dont make a sale, they don't have money to pay bills, or eat. sam baby if u wanna be an activist you need to like, actually look into these things. with as much money as her parents have, she could be doing a lot..more useful things for causes she cares about? it's frustrating to see someone with resources who doesn't know how to use them. but shes 14 so again. cannot be really upset :/

-IS THIS A PREDATOR VS TERMINATOR VS FREDDY KRUEGER MOVIE BUT THEYRE ALL WOMEN?? you know, sam is so right to be excited about this. /I/ want to see this movie. that rules

-paulina inviting danny and friends to her quinceañera, aw! even if it is just to get phantom to show up :') and there'll be a meteor shower, and we KNOW danny wants to be an astronaut!! there's not a meteor shower every night!! the tickets are non-refundable, but..she's rich? like. gotta agree with danny, they never get invited!! I KNOW it's the principle of keeping promises, but if she was that upset, she should've said something. directly. I hated how she was like, passive aggressive about it through the episode, like you SAID IT WAS FINE, THAT YOU'D GO TO THE PARTY TOO. MOVIES SHOW FOR A FEW WEEKS IN THEATERS. IF YOU HAD A REAL PROBLEM YOU NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT. WE'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE, SAM. YOUR FRIENDS. ARE NOT. MIND READERS.

-MR. LANCER GOING AFTER THE GHOST WITH THE FIRE EXTINGISHER LMAO

-this outfit is everything . anytime the show does an over the top cutesty pink outfit i WANT IT. it looks like shit I wear JKASDHF I HAVE a bow like that and a pink sweater. I need leg warmers </3

-SAMS GOTTA RE-HALF-KILL HIM??? thats fucked up. but also, he finally got his logo!! it took until s2!!! this episode was lowkey very fucked and I felt like it glossed over a lot. does sam have guilt about like. kinda KILLING HIM?? I know, he also agreed and walked into the portal. but. she made the choice to redo it SO quickly (even if it was because someone had to beat desiree) and danny, during their fight, brought up a lot of stuff sam's done in the past, meaning he was holding onto those memories and resentment was building. (I KEEP SAYING HE LOWKEY NEEDS THERAPY, BUT I THINK MOST EVERYONE IN THIS SHOW KINDA DOES) which...is a red flag? and then they didnt even GO to the party URGH I know she tried to make up for it, but it really felt like Sam fucked up and barely faced any consequences and got everything she wanted in the end. I KNOW it's a kids show obv they aren't going to go too in depth, and she undid the damage, kinda, but...I DUNNO how to articulate it but it rubbed me the wrong way.

-but on a note about desiree, her powers of wishes were STRONG ENOUGH TO ERASE NOT JUST THEIR MEMORIES, BUT DANNY'S POWERS?! fuck, if I was danny I'd be like, trying to make friends with her. I know they always have horrible side effects as most genie-granted wishes do, but...c'mon, I'd at least TRY to be like 'I wish no ghosts would hurt anyone in my town' or 'I wish vlad would lose his ghost powers forever no matter What and also forget about my mom' LIKE. SHIT DESIREE IS SO POWERFUL. rewriting reality powerful, basically!! appreciate her. respect her.

-aww, sam helping tucker pass the nurse's office so he wouldn't see because he's afraid of medical stuff? very sweet. I also don't like medical stuff, I've gotten a lot better at handling it tho. but seeing blood and needles still makes me feel lightheaded x_x

-FOLEY, BY TUCKER FOLEY. I want to make my own perfume, that's so cool. even if his first attempt isn't good, he's pretty consistently shown to have an inventor/entrepreneur streak in the show, so like. I can see him inventing or making something (or several somethings) that make him $$$ when he grows up :) proud of my creative son

-I know the 'creepy abandoned hospital on the edge of town' is a joke and the creepy hospital trope is so Worn Out, but in my town we actually DO have a hospital like that! my dad was born in it, but its not in use and hasn't been for, like, 20 years! it needs to be torn down but I think the city doesn't wanna pay the money. the inside is horrible, spray painted and broken glass and shit everywhere. but there's still like, rusty equipment and fucking DOLLS all over the place. the cops drive by it pretty frequently to make sure no one is like, breaking in. (because of water damage, some of the areas really aren't safe. also, asbestos, but people still go in anyway) but also, some of my town was used in a filming for a stephen king show. So it's lowkey spooky all over. just a fun personal tidbit :) to lead into saying, any hospital abandoned for any period of time is NOT safe to quarantine these kids in JKSAHDKF like I KNOW it's a ghost trying to do this, but NONE of these parents are even like, 'well, why dont we keep them in the regular, working hospital'....YIKES. this hospital looks pretty accurate to the one in town. grungy and spooky.

-fentons are tax evaders confirmed by jack's fear of being audited, lol no one is surprised

-ghost sickness via ghost bugs. horrifying concept. I actually expected it to be a new villain, not dr. spectra again! this is a very elaborate scheme. her new form rules, love the new costume. the way none of the bg kids seem to recognize her as their old school councilor. did we just forget about that completely?

-dash watching romance movies in the fucked up ghost hospital. same.

-'oh please, you're ghosts, do you have any idea what YOU smell like?' no, tucker, what DO ghosts smell like? I genuinely didn't know they would even have a smell, I actually want to know now.

-it feels like a while since we've seen jazz!! i was happy to see her again, even if she was a head in a jar for most the episode. I want another jazz-focused ep!!

-we finally see danny doing space-related stuff!! him and his friends stargazing to open ep 3 of s2. cute :) until, GHOST PIRATES!!!!! ...ghost pirate captain is a small child?? VOICED BY TAYLOR LAUTNER???

-oh, the easy listening is ember's song instrumental slowed. 'vapor drone' THEY VAPORWAVED HER!!! ember in a pirate outfit tho >>>>. and the cruise being called m.bersback JKASDHJK. ember adopting a little pirate brother is also pretty cute. concerning this teen and little kid have such bad opinions of adults, like, who hurt you?? (how did you DIE ALSO?? im always lowkey curious about that. we know desiree died at an old age, but her ghost form is young, probably mid-20s, so I wonder how that sort of thing works...its a more mental thing, isn't it?) but ghost team-ups are always cool to see, even if ember bailed after danny took her guitar. I guess she probably thinks youngblood can handle it (which, he's been owning danny this far in the ep, so...fair)

-tucker got that sponsorship from nasty burger for their radio!!! again, opportunistic money maker king, love to see it!!!

-danny taking control of the kids SO FAST. he makes a pretty great leader. no one is surprised, im pretty sure I said I think he's the most mature of the trio, once again, correct, because he's taken on so much responsibility already. all the teens suiting up in the jumpsuits to go save the adults and taking the ship over with a BLIMP. OKAY LETS GO. this feels like it should be a mid finale or straight up finale.

-...speaking of finales. why is ep 4-5 of s2 combined into a 50 minute episode? I havent even clicked play and im concerned. weird placement, like, this season JUST started and we're getting a two parter? okay...why are the episodes placed like this? why not put this at episode 10 or something, for a mid-season thing?

-this is also a cute dress. possibly my fav dress so far. can her parents give ME cute dresses, I'LL wear them.

-it turns out the castle fright knight was in is called pariah's keep and there's something worse than fright knight in there! lovely! fuck off vlad wtf are you doing <3 your hubris <3 is going to literally get you killed <3 'ring of rage' and 'crown of fire' are great names tho. ...vlad turning into a super polite guy when he was scared of mr. pariah was hilarious. and fright knight doing the same...I mean, it makes sense, he's a knight, he serves a king? happy to see fright knight again either way :) vlad telling him to call him tho, lmfao. you WISH HE WOULD. (I wish hed call me, too. 😔)

-so...jack being genuinely concerned about vlad...maddie really didn't tell him what happened at the cabin, did she. damn. if I was her id immediately come home and be like 'YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS SHITTTT THIS CREEPY GUY--' like, I feel like that stuff you need to tell your partner!!! I know she didnt want Jack to think she was an irresponsible parent putting danny in danger at that time, but STILLLL. maddie spilling boiling tea on him. get his ass. how is jack this oblivious to his wife's discomfort with vlad!! ughhh

-fenton wipe (tm). trademarked toilet paper.

-DANNY AND VALERIE BEING FRIENDS??? :D that was a cute moment. 'hey val <3' and 'if you like him like him, make a move, or someone else will ;)' at sam...damn!! I love her. valerie go for it girl!!! I hate how sam and tucker treat val also, like I GET IT YOURE PROTECTIVE AND DONT TRUST but if anything him befriending valerie will help when she finds out or he tells her like I feel like she'll be more understanding that they think! ALSO I feel like her reason for not liking ghosts is valid, like you haven't really explained the full story to her anyway! she doesn't seem to have any other friends after being booted from the a-listers so im like :( but seeing them kick butt together again was nice <3

-the ghosts all RUNNING FROM PARIAH DARK IS NOT GOOD, I thought he sent them to attack or something, but no. why doesn't someone just tell desiree 'hey i wish pariah dark would die' lol. once again I think she can solve every problem <3 but seeing all the enemies in one place, being civil and hiding together? love it.

-you just know danny's gonna have to clean up vlad's stupid mess. also, jack being willing to put on the ectoskeleton pants to help maddie, as soon as vlad heard it could kill him, he suggested jack do it instead of helping maddie himself? this is why jack got the girl, my man.

-ghost skeletons. how do you end up as a skeleton ghost in your afterlife instead of a humanoid like most the ones we've seen? lmao

-the ghosts just making new homes in various stores. I'd totally be setting up in an expensive clothing store if I was a ghost.

-valerie's dad is possibly the most useful adult so far, with that ghost shield expansion!!! and valerie saving vlad and danny, even tho shes been thru it already, shes still so good!!! this family rules.

-danny: *gently caresses valerie* :)

-*then he immediately TELLS HER DAD ON HER. and his first response is 'are you okay?' :'( such a good dad...

-*me every time fright knight breathes* youre doing SO great sweetie :)

-the fenton suit thing is so silly looking. does anyone take this thing seriously

-ALL THE GHOSTS FIGHTING WITH DANNY <3 AAAAA. and the fact that pariah isn't perma-defeated, but just locked away again. yikes. he'll probably get out again, won't he? it wasn't too clear, but if vlad DID make a pact with fright knight, I am rabid. I will beat vlad to death with the fenton bat (tm). YOU DONT DESERVE A COOL KNIGHT.

-valerie being direct with sam and challenging her? kinda love that, even tho I normally don't like 'catfight' type situations. because sam has been very passive aggressive about it which is annoying. valerie knows wtf she wants and wasn't even embarrassed to tell sam, but she did tell her, giving sam time to make her own move! and sam denied it and got embarrassed/mad! and sam did have a chance when danny was about to go off and fight, and she hesitated and didn't tell him. I feel like she's hesitating because they're friends and it might make it weird between the trio (poor tucker would be third-wheeling) but if u snooze u lose, u gotta GO after what u WANT girl. smh this is a No Tsundere Zone. 😤

Clyde: Clyde was excited about tonight. They were sleeping in his office and having a sleep over there with his sister and heather and mason. Jason wanted to come but mason told him no, because of Gabe. Clyde's ex and Gabes friend wanted to join and might as the parade start if they could. Clyde didnt really want them to spend the night. Clyde looked at Gabe and kissed his cheek. He finished packing his bag and set up the food and water for the cat, and cleaned their box. He looked at Gabe and waited for the taxi to get here. "Do we need anything else, babe?"

Gabe: Gabe looked over the bags they'd packed and couldn't see that they'd missed anything. He had thought it would jsut be him and Clyde, at least until the morning, but it had grown and grown, like most things they did, and now he felt like he was wrangling a big party of people. He shook his head. "No I think we have everything. The air mattresses and the sleeping bags are already there."

Clyde: "This is going to be fun. "He said. "And the lube?" He asked. "I know we will want to fuck." He said a bit aggressive. He was excited. He also knew they would probaby want to have sex. He got everything he needed and alchol. After the parade, he would meet Gabes parents for thanksgicing dinner. He hoped his dad and him would be ok

Gabe: "The lube? You invited everyone to stay with us," he teased. "In my office." He laughed again. "If we wanted to have sex all night, it would just be us," he said and winked at Clyde, before grabbing a bag and putting it over his shoulder. "Come on, the cab's here," he said and kissed Clyde's cheek, grabbing another bag.

Clyde: "We will make them leave the office, or like you have other offices right? I want to be fucked over a desk by you" He winked. He kissed his lips. "We better go!" He said and pulled his favorite blanket off his bed. a cozy ugly little thing that Gabe got him from the hyett, he loved it. He went outside and got into the cab and grabbed Gabes hand. "Are you having catering tonight?"

Gabe: Gabe hummed. "Maybe, but it would be easier if it was just us," Gabe said. He still felt uncomfortable having sex with people nearby,and the walls of the office were thin. He put the bags in the cab and blinked when Clyde mentioned catering. "No, I hadn't thought...breakfast, sure, becasue that was when I thought everyone would get there. I can call and try to arrange something now if you like. What would you like to eat?"

Clyde: "Umm... Can you get mexican place to cater?" He asked. "OR Pizza. Everyone likes pizza?" He suggested. He kissed his cheek and pouted. "You are always so worried if people know we have sex or just a little bit gay." He sighed and licked his cheek. "Stop it. Be proud to have sex with me a room away. "

Gabe: Gabe sighed heavly. "I am proud to be gay and to be with you, I don't want to have sex in front of people. It's not got anything to do with pride, Clyde. It's just what makes me comfortable." He hated disappointing Clyde. But it was just the truth. "I'm always touching you and kissing you and holding your hand. I'm not afraid to be gay in front of people. That was really mean to say, Clyde," he said and focued on his phone. "I'll get us mexican," he said.

Clyde: "You seemed reserved sometimes. Like you dont always introduce me as your boyfriend." He commented. "It's not a big deal. " He shrugged. "Do you not want peopl? You told me on the RV that we could have people and make it a thing." He frowned. "And now you seem upset that people are coming gabe... "

Gabe: "When have I not?" he asked, surprised at the accusation, when he'd been introducing Clyde as his boyfriend all weekend at the reunion. "I didn't realize it was the night before. I thought it would be the morning off. Not tonight. But its fine, honey, if you're happy, I'm happy." He kissed Clyde's cheek.

Clyde: Clyde rolled his eyes. "You're not happy with ti, Gabe, and I thought you were open to having more social gatherings. " He told Gabe. "For a lawyer you sure are anti social. Who cares if we have sex in an office away from everyone? I hate being told no to sex, Gabe It's frustrating.. and you say no a lot."

Gabe: "All we do is social gatherings, I hardly have time with you by myself. There's always people over." Gabe felt ashamed when Clyde rolled his eyes, like his concerns didn't matter. "And if you cared about my concerns at all, we'd have a lot more sex. But fine. Let's have tons of sex tonight, while my sister and her boyfriend that looks like my ex listens. Like that wouldn't make anyone uncomforatable."

Clyde: "That's not true. I spend most of the week with you." He said. "Fine, whatever. I dont want sex anymore." He shurgged and rested his forehead against the glass. "What are you ordering? I want soft tacos." he told gabe. "And rice and refried beans.. can you ask them to send sour cream too, and chips and salsa?"

Gabe: "No you don't," Gabe said. "There are always people at the house, we hardly ever get time just the two of us." He sighed. "Fine. I'm the bad guy. Again. Like always." Gabe felt like crying. "Fine, fine," he said and typed in the order.

Clyde: "ugh gabe, I thought we were not going to fight." he sighed. "we been fighting a lot. I will tell them not to come, but its stupid.Its better if they come for the night, because traffic is bad tomorrow, and it just makes more sense, thats all it was. I am sorry i want you all the time, no matter if we are with people or not."

Gabe: "No, don't do that. Everyone's already coming," Gabe said gently. "It's fine." He swallowed hard. "You always seem annoyed or disappointed in me. I'm sorry I'm not the person you want me to be. If fucking you in front of people is what you need, I'll get over it. Just..maybe we can have my sister go somewhere else."

Clyde: "She wont need to. We would in another room, but now i feel like a pervert because I want to have sex with you tonight." He said. "In another office.." He licked his lips and was glad when they got there."I am going to H&M for socks and pjs... " He pulled out a cigarette and put it between his lips. "I'll be back," He smiled a little, and ducked his head to walk down the street of time square towards the store.

Gabe: "I'm coming with you," Gabe said, and followed after Clyde, determindely grabbing his hand and lacing their fingers togther. He wished that Clyde would reassure him, but it was just more judgment. So he decided to be quiet and just follow after him. "I wanted to do something romantic," he said finally. "Candles and flowers. For a surprise. So I..thats all."

Clyde: He knew that Gabe didnt like him smoking, sohe took a puff and stomped it out for respect of Gabe. "Sorry. " He said and wasnt sure what else to say. He was just tired of fighting. He wanted to hit up a target and get pjs but H&M was closer. "Do you need anything?" He asked.

Gabe: "It's fine. If you want to," Gabe said. He hadn't even mentioned it, since he didn't want to upset Clyde any further. "No, I don't. I think we have everything. Though if you're getting new Pjs, I might too."

Clyde: He didnt want to hurt gabes feelings. H&M wouldnt have Gabes size, which is why he felt bad for going. "know what, fuck H&M we have time to go to Target?" He asked, it was already crowded becaue of people coming in for the parade. He had PJS. "We will have time, what if we just have christmas just us? Would.. would that be ok?"

Gabe: "Yes, we have plenty of time. No one's coming for another forty five minutes," he said and smiled a little, kissing the back of Clyde's hand. He smiled, feeling a little warmth grow in his chest. "Yes, I would love that. You know, I've never celebrated Christmas before. But I want to do it with you. And all of your favorite traditions."

Clyde: "Or haunkahh, we dont have to do christmas." He sighed. He loved christmas, especially branson, but he knew hed love new york too. He felt stupid for saying gabe was ashamed when he was holding his hadn. "LEt's get a red bus ticket and go somewhere ."He said. "They can wait for us, right? Your sister can get inyour office?"

Gabe: "No, honey, I want to," he said and smiled brightly. "I want to learn your traditions, and you can learn mine. There's nothing that says we can't do both right?" he said and smiled brighter, and kissed Clyde's hand. Gabe was the only one that had the key, but he texted Leigh and let her know the key code. "They can get in the lobby, yes. That's where everything is going to be set up anyway."

Clyde: "Great" He said. "I still think why everyone is in the lobby or late tonight we can fuck somewhere, maybe the elevator" He murmured. "Sorry I want you so close all the time, your body is hot and warm" He said. "And its exciting." He sighed. "But I can survive." He told him. He decided against the ticket and got a pretzel for them to split. "Lets go to H&M and get socks.. matching socks."Surely they'd have hGabes size socks

Gabe: Gabe let out a soft laugh and flushed just a little. "I'm sure we can work something out," he said and kissed the back of Clyde's hand again. "You don't have to be sorry about that." He kissed Clyde again lightly, and paid for the pretzel before going towards H&M. "Sounds good to me," he said, holding the door open for Clyde and bowing just a little. "After you."

Clyde blushed at Gabe gentleman bow. He felt like he had seen him do that before, but that didnt’ make sense? Did it. He kissed his head and went to the store He looked around, and found shirts he liked, so he subtle drapped them over his arm and walked to the socks. He picked out cute check print pair they both could wear tonight and a cute fedora for Gabe to wear. He pecked his lips as Gabe went to pay for the stuff. “We should head back, yea? I want to set up our air mattresses. Uh, Gabe... sorry for being so social I cant really help it.”

QUESTION 1. What is your favorite scene in the comic so far and why?

The story has flowed so smoothly so far that it'd be hard for me to pick a certain scene as a favorite. I've really enjoyed the fluidity of the art, with it's beautiful backgrounds and very human seeming characters. Evie has been quite interesting to get to know so far and I'm looking forward to learning more about her as the story goes on.

Her hair has been particularly fascinating to me, I adore how it's drawn.

i appreciate how shes been drawn with a variety of hair styles and clothing. its one of those unnecessary details that can add a lot of life and make everything feel less like a video game.

but man the backgrounds. those are some heavily detailed backgrounds with a lot of love and care put into them and they really express the world so well

if i had to pick a favorite scene id pick when we meet margot. i really like the slight additions of red because something about the wispy way its drawn expressives a hint of...something sinister

I liked the scene where Eve was partly hung over and came into the kitchen and her brother regaled her with all the info off a casual remark. I think part of what made that stick too was realizing in the post-script how it was based on REAL history.

QUESTION 2. Throughout the comic we meet an interesting cast of side characters, from Eve’s friends to the seemingly criminal Peter Murphy to Agostino. Was there any side character that caught your eye, and if so why? When it comes to Peter and Agostino, do you think we will be seeing more of them? If so, in what way? Will Agostino’s interaction with Margot affect him in some dire way? What do you think will happen if Eve meets Peter? Why do you think Eve isn’t fond of her brother’s new fiancée? Are there any other character details you think the comic might explore?

I really liked Agostino’s reaction to Margot, it’s so foreboding. I most definitely feel we’ll be seeing all the characters that have introduced so far, again. I must say the story so far has so seamlessly and entertainingly set up many relationships, varied characters, and intrigue to delve into that it’s exciting waiting for what comes next!

Why do you think Margot has moved into the property now of all times, and why do you think Margot chose to run an antiques store? Why do you think Margot was so defensive about Eve’s questions (despite there being simpler, more polite answers as Eve points out)? Do you think Eve will continue to interrogate Margot for information, and do you think she will succeed? Do you think it’s even safe for Eve to interact with Margot given what happened to Agostino? Do you have any other theories about Margot?

Maybe he was doing some work on the side that turned out to be shadier than he thought... the flashback seemed to imply that they might have had money troubles. “Ma'am, I don’t know what you’ve heard, but whatever it is- either Furuta or the toxic side of the YoI fandom started it!”

I used to be firmly for Trans!Mutsuki but now I’m not so sure. I’m mostly just annoyed and kinda sad at how this particular issues is tearing the fandom apart…keeping away from major spoilers, when Saiko was trying to ask Mutsuki about something important a few chapters back Mutsuki was like “So….yeah. You figured out that I’m actually a girl.” and then abruptly left. That was mostly where the doubt started: Mutsuki refered to themself as a ‘girl’. Did this stem from insecurity about revealing themself as trans or was it because Mutsuki actually sees themself as female?

And then later on, “I’m almost embarrassingly female.” Does this mean that they find their female body a burden/embarrassing, or that they can’t help but acknowledge that yes, they do identify as female in the end? Doesn’t help that their expression during this scene is very difficult to read (the scene itself is quite disturbing in nature as well).

Then people started connecting the dots. During the auction arc Mutsuki once said to themself ‘It’s not that I think like a man’ and was disgusted when they felt men’s gazes following them. Add this to "I want to ‘live’ as a man" instead of “I 'am’ a man” and the fact that they were probably molested by their father as a child and the theory that maybe they’re just pretending to be male because even as they fear men, they believe being male to be a symbol of power, one that will keep them safe, becomes quite a bit more plausible.

Even more confusing since most of Mutsuki 'I am female’ moments seem to come during mental breakdowns so the fandom is up in arms about that too. Does the mental breakdown mean that they’re not in their right mind and just rambling, or does it make them speak the truth and stop hiding (like Kaneki’s memory breakdown during the Tsukiyama arc; it was then he finally stopped warping/denying his own memories about his mother)?

I personally believe that Mutsuki might turn out to be female after all (especially since this is a Japanese manga; Japan might be more accepting of the LGBTQ community than other East-Asian countries but from what I’ve learned it’s still got quite a bit of prejudice and stereotyping going on and LGBTQ individuals are viewed differently from how they are in the West. It would also tie in with Ishida’s overall writing style) but I don’t bash those who believe them to be trans because I really, really wanted them to be trans too…

I just wish the fandom would stop being so aggressive about this ;-;

True, true, Jean would make a good Angelica ^^ as for Dear Theodosia, don’t most of Burr’s songs fit really well with Jean? I think it’s proof that the Jean-Burr casting was meant to be.

Speaking of Hinami though, SPOILER but apparently she’s going to meet Akira soon.

Yeah, the only realy Hamilton AU we could achieve with TG is one where characters are forced into roles that don’t necessarily fit their personalities and therefore changes the outcome of the story (which could actually be a good thing; for example, if we cast Amon as Hamilton Say No To This would never happen).

But wait (lol). Doesn’t Urie actually fit much better with Burr?

In that case, it doesn’t matter who we cast. Urie-Burr would probably make the exact same mistakes as Musical!Burr did (if we’re talking about pre-character development Urie).

Well, to make up for Hide’s second death (who am I kidding nothing could make up for that) you now have the mental image of Tsukiyama rapping Guns and Ships at Yoshimura-Washington (or Shinohara-Washington).

As for Furuta, I think he’s probably going to get a tragic backstory too- everyone in TG gets the angst treatment. Ishida’s probably going to expand on his daddy issues. Also, there’s that one birthday poem Ishida wrote for him that strongly implies he’s suicidal/places little value on his own life, plus the fact that we can already assume he had a terrible childhood.

I’ve never heard of that anime but now you make me want to watch it…is it really worth a watch despite the 'wth’ elements? (Your Lie in April was the only exception I made for romance animes, but I’m willing to give anything a try as long as it’s got decent character development, is respectful with whatever themes it chooses to handle and doesn’t have too much fanservice (because frankly I find anime fanservice more cringey than anything…I always feel so embarrassed for everyone involved when it happens XD)).

Like, maybe it’s just me but I think Viktor (once he got used to it) and/or Chris might actually think it was hot. Dunno, just, in VIktuuri I can see Viktor being the sub (plus it’s kinda obvious that he’s really, really into Eros!Yuuri) so I think he’d find the idea of his s/o being a powerhouse appealing…especially since they don’t look it outwardly (what with being so smol and cute). He’d probably be determined to 'unleash the beast’ lol

(or maybe it’s just my personal bias because while I don’t have much of a preference when it comes to figure I still think muscular women look great)

That seems so complicated >_< I think I’m gonna stick to trans!Mutsuki (referring with he/him), simply because I haven’t reached that part in the manga and am still in the ‘Mu is male’ mode. Yeee, I don’t wanna go into that part of the fandom, I get enough shit from the yoi fandom already. Gaah, it really is complicated. I mean, I’m open to any Mu and don’t quite care if he decides to be male/female or genderfluid or whatever. I just want everyone to be happy ;-; And that’ll never happen because we’re talking about TG here. No one can be happy. It’s simple impossible.

The only thing we need now is a Hamilton for Jean... Ye, I don’t quite think we’ll be getting one. Except for Eren, but that LEAVES ALL THE PROBLEMS WE’VE DISCUSSED. SHIT. I’d pay to see Jean singing Dear Theodosia.

That’s the problem with TG. Most AUs are impossible, since the characters just don’t fit the roles nicely, they’re too grey to fit in. Gdi Ishida, you love making us suffer.

Oh yeah, Urie would be the best Burr! He’s a calculating character who’ll kinda suck ass to advance in positions. To think that this guy’s my favourite character along with Haise/Kaneki and Ayato...
