I gave Wally pants. I would've given him the dress instead, but I like to think he prefers pants. Idk but that's my hc. I feel like I could've made these outfits look better, but I'm still happy with how these came out. Especially Julie's outfit. I might do this again with these three (cause they're the easiest for me to draw).

Lumberjack boys!!!!

Au where after the fire, DCA (same body) survived, found an ax, and became woodsman in the forest. Built themselves a cabin, have a stray dog or two, and keep the woods safe while slowly making themselves wood shells since some of their shelling didn't make it past the fire. They picked redwood as it is very dense, and red being the color that the two share (they take the ribbons off when they work)

Y/N, in search of their own wood to work with, meets them and asks if they can decorate their shells, and they happily agree.

The Weekend of Maximum Baby Quilts has been delayed (or extended?) because I have a relative in town and I'm going to spend some time with her today instead of quilting, so instead of just being a this weekend thing I think I'll make it a "this entire week" thing

#the person behind the yarn #crafting update #I have a FQ pack I want to get to make a quilt for my mom #but it's 31 FQ #which is 7 and 3/4 yards #my goal is to get more fabric OUT of my stash than that would bring in #I did make the woodland flannel baby quilt which was about 3 yards of fabric #...but then there was some 'last chance' rainbow plaid flannel at joanns #and I bought three yards so I can eventually make myself a rainbow plaid flannel shirt #so that was a net neutral

regardless if it’s a timeskip or not i do think the new outfits signify a new chapter in their lives??? like in the case of bat:

kuukou’s still punk still monk lol but more importantly, he still has his sachihoko symbols on his haori thing. kuukou’s always changed the symbols on his coat whenever he gets a new one so it’s an important point!!! sachihoko are guardians to protect from storms so kuukou still has his protector/protection imagery

jyushi’s overcoat is still the same style but it is longer and darker and his outfit as a whole is grandiose lol like even more vkei, so i’d say this is jyushi’s final form a jyushi more true to himself and braver than ever before and ready to perform on his biggest stage yet

hitoya’s i’m not too sure actually lol but it reminds me a lot of his fit back when he helped out kuukou and jyushi. if that’s the angle then it might have him playing support for whatever he’ll be getting into as jakurai’s partner. also lends to his own knight imagery since that’s the period of time we see him as a defender
