Manager: We ran out of blank paper for tickets, so I bought some!
Manager: Are you all having a Leaders’ Meeting?
Tenma: Yeah. We’re still waiting on the Director, though.
Manager: Is that so? Well, I’m going to go put this blank paper away and… hm?
Sakuya: Manager, what’s wrong?
Manager: …T-T-This is bad! I made a mistake with the paper size!!
Sakuya: Huh!?
Manager: If Furuichi-san finds out, he’ll unleash his wrath…! I have to h-h-h-hide…!
Banri: Even if ya try and hide, he’s gonna find out anyway.

Tenma: A blank ticket? You mean like one with nothing written on it?
Sakuya: They were like “A Ticket for Blank” with the “Blank” part being for the person it was being given to to write something in. Like things like “A Ticket for a Shoulder Massage” or something like that.
Tsumugi: So you let the person you’re giving it to decide on what they want you to do?
Sakuya: Yeah! When we made them at the daycare, we called them “Please Tickets”.
Sakuya: So… what if we use this blank paper to make Please Tickets for us to give to the Director?
Sakuya: I mean, we were just talking about how we want to help her in any way we can.
Tsumugi: Yeah, I think that’d be a great idea. With that sort of thing, I think she’d be able to ask us for help more freely.
Banri: Agreed. She doesn’t usually ask for favors, so usin’ these might help her with that.
Tenma: …If we’re going to do this, why not have the whole company do it?
Sakuya: That’s a great idea! Let’s talk to the others about it!
Tsumugi: While we’re at it, why don’t we write a message to give to her too?

SPRING TROUPE 10TH PLAY: MOON TRAVELER — ムーン・トラベラー 【CHAPTER 1】

On a spring night a few weeks before my birthday––
I escaped from a facility and went to the town where I grew up.
It took several hours to get here by bus, and the return trip would take the same amount of time.
The small amount of pocket money I got from helping out is for the bus fare back.
If I lost it, I would not be able to go home.
I clutched the small amount of coins in my pocket.
No matter how uncomfortable it was, I can still get food from the facility.
If I don't want to die by the side of the road, I have to go back there.
If I'm not back by dawn, I'll be sent to the punishment room again.
I walked along the walled off path before stopping. I put my hand on a lower part of the wall, where two blocks had collapsed.
I pull my body up and jump over the wall in one go.
Since the night I was driven out from my house, nothing had changed in the vacant land where I used to look at the moon alone.
I thought I would feel more nostalgic, but strangely, I felt nothing.
"Ah, right. The moon......" There were only small stars twinkling in the night sky.
"Why can't we see the moon?"
Suddenly, a boy's voice came out of nowhere. I turned around, startled.
"Do you know?"
Before I knew it, there was a boy dressed in all white standing in the vacant lot that was supposed to be empty.
"……Because moonset has passed. The moon sets just like the sun. You cant always see the moon just because it's night time."
"Heh, you really know your stuff, don't you! And you jumped over that high wall just now, right? Your athleticism is good too, too. That's amazing."
The boy's eyes sparkled.
(Who the hell is this guy....... To be at this kind of place at this hour, what a suspicious guy......)
I was about to get on top of the ledge and distance myself slightly, when I heard a loud talking voice.
"HAHAHA! Like I said, you always drink too much! You're gonna get in trouble again!
"You're in no position to tell me about that!"
I heard the footsteps of men who seemed to be on their way home from a bar coming closer. With a start, my body shivered.
(If kids are found in such a place at this hour, we'll be in trouble. We need to run……)
Even as I slowly walked away with a wandering gaze, the boy was still in a daze, thinking about something.
(No, I have to ditch him and go.)
As I was about to start running, a quick hand grabbed my arm and stopped me.
"Hey."
"What?"
"Do you have any family?"
The boy's question made a number of faces pop up in my mind.
Immediately after, I drown out those faces from my mind, annoyed.

First of all, regarding the 10th play of the Spring Troupe, we were discussing during the leaders' meeting earlier about having the sixth member of each troupe play the lead role.
Sakuya: So for the Winter Troupe it'll be Guy-san, Autumn Troupe will be Azami-kun. Summer Troupe will be Kumon-kun, and Spring Troupe will be Chikage-san!
Chikage: Why is that?
Izumi: I think now, more than ever, is the time to show off our individual abilities before the new Fleur Award, which is about to have a new structure soon.
The last four people to join the company have only had one lead role, right?
I think there's a certain freshness and 'buzz' that comes with playing the lead role.
Additionally, we all agreed that we wanted to see what would happen if the four of you, who have matured as compared to when they first joined the company with simple reasons, played the lead roles.
Chikage: I see.
Sakuya: I also learned a lot from my experience as the second lead role in the company's play, so I hope Chikage-san can experience it too!

✿ you were an aspiring stuntman, to the stress of your parents. but unfortunately someone of your age didn't get a lot of opportunities, least of all in films, so you decided to turn to the world of theatre acting and find work there.
✿ you were 18, on your first year in university though you unsurprisingly weren't particularly focused on your studies. banri was a year younger than you, at 17.
✿ you'd already been scouted for the autumn troupe, as izumi thought that it was the troupe that needed someone for more challenging roles. and when banri came into "audition" and bad mouthed you, he got a fist to the face faster than ever before. you subsequently realized what you did and refused to come out of your room for the next two days.
✿ you and banri were assigned to room together (on sakyo's orders). it did not start out good, as banri kept trying to get you to actually fight him, while you adamantly refused to even speak to him. it wasn't until you had to actually start practicing that you were actually forced to talk.
✿ for banri, it was love at first sight. sort of, anyways. he's always been attracted to people who can beat his ass (even if he didn't particularly pick up on it) but your 'take-no-shit' attitude really hit it home.
at first you didn't like banri, and then you just got embarrassed by your behavior. how could you just punch someone, no matter how annoying they are? and then having to room with him... well, you debated locking yourself away in your room for the rest of eternity. away from him.
≿━━━━༺❀ juza hyodo ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were the charismatic leader of the theatre club at your school, but as you were soon set to graduate you wanted to find a more permanent spot to continue acting at. thankfully, you'd recently been informed of the mankai company by a friend of yours.
✿ you were 17, the same age as juza. you'd been into acting since you were way too young to remember, but you'd not seriously started doing it until you were in high school.
✿ it was even prior to the audition, when juza came to your club room to ask you to give him acting lessons. delighted by his "enthusiasm" you gladly said you'd teach him, which turned out to be a bit too big of a promise. but you weren't ready to give up on him, not if he was to become a co-actor of yours.
✿ you had two weeks until audition, and you promised to spend all your free time teaching juza. you'd meet up at your place every few days, and though juza was a hard student to have, you did manage some progress during your two weeks.
✿ juza had admittedly had a huge crush on you for years, as had most of the omega population of the school. but actually meeting you, he couldn't help but grow an even deeper love for you and your passion for acting.
juza was admittedly a difficult student in the art of acting, but you could respect his love for the craft. so even if you struggled to keep from screaming whenever he monotonously recited another line, you didn't out of sheer liking for him and his silly ways.

✿ you were a nihon buyo dancer, as your oma had been, and her oma before her. you were actually the first alpha in your family to take on the practice, but as an only child it was to be expected. but you weren't quite satisfied with your craft, and thought that some theatre acting practice could help you improve.
✿ you were 17, and under the tutelage of your oma still. unfortunately for her, you were starting to really hit that phase where you wanted independence. taichi was 16 at the time.
✿ you'd just had another argument with your oma, which led to you storming off. you ended up stewing on a park bench by yourself, where taichi happened to catch sight of you, and being a gentleman raised by two alpha's went over to comfort the distressed omega. you were not happy to discover his assumption later on.
✿ while you were initially not very happy about being approached casually, taichi had the sort of puppy energy that made you forgive him quickly. that, and he listened to you rant for almost an hour and didn't complain, which made him pretty good in your eyes.
✿ taichi just thought that you were a pretty omega, as with his limited world view he'd never even considered an alpha doing an elegant hobby like dancing. probably why he didn't particularly mind your "weirdly" strong personality.
to you, taichi came across as a cute little puppy, a little omega with a good heart. so, he was the cutest thing you'd ever seen. though your upset mind didn't really pick up on it instantly, you had already grown a bit of a crush on him.

✿ you were... well, you were the leader of a biker gang. you'd been one for three years already, though you were slowly starting to doubt the lifestyle you'd chosen and were thinking of quitting. but you still needed a small nudge to take that step
✿ you were 20, a year older than omi. you'd been part of your biker gang for six years at that point, and became the leader at 17 after the sudden death of your previous leader.
✿ you were staring at a shelf of cleaning supplies, having an internal crisis in the middle of a grocery store. you didn't really mean to, but you'd been thinking about your life for days now. and a certain photographer was staring at you in turn, wondering what the hell you were doing. he really needed to get to those cleaning supplies. you almost screamed when he finally tapped you on the shoulder.
✿ after almost kick-dropping omi to the floor, you reluctantly apologize and help him with his groceries. omi didn't actually mind (he understood the instinctual reaction) but was grateful anyways, which ended up with him rambling about his life, which made something with you click.
✿ omi didn't take long to realize what kind of life you'd lived (or were still living, he wasn't sure), and he felt rather bad. he'd never want anybody to live the kind of life he had in high school (oh, if only he knew). he was hoping you'd turn out fine.
you had never met such a pretty man before, especially not one so kind. for the first time in a long time you felt bad for the instincts instilled in you since your youth, and hearing him talk about his life made you think about exactly how badly your life was going.
≿━━━━༺❀ sakyo furuichi ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were the child of a yakuza boss, though you weren't particularly interested in your appa's work. instead, you loved acting and dancing, which she didn't particularly agree with but was glad to see you happy. you, on the other hand, didn't care for her opinion on the matter.
✿ you were 6, the same age as sakyo. you were living full-time with your appa, who'd actually inherited the group from your oma who'd died a few years ago.
✿ you were on veludo way with one of your appa's subordinates, who was assigned to babysit you. it didn't take long for you to run away from them though, and end up at a certain theatre company where a group was rehearsing. there, a little stern looking boy caught your attention and you immediately decided that he had to be yours.
✿ after actually talking to sakyo (read as: you talked his ear off while he kept wondering where you appeared from), you kept showing up to the mankai company practices, both to see them and to talk to sakyo, who you were absolutely determined to make your friend.
✿ sakyo was mostly confused by you. you showed up out of nowhere, declared him your new friend, and kept showing up to talk about the magic of acting. at least that last part he could tolerate, but you did initially weird him out, a lot.
you weren't really certain what about sakyo made him so interesting to you, you just knew that he was. so even when he was less than enthusiastic about your offers of friendship, you didn't take them particularly seriously. nothing would make you give him up.
≿━━━━༺❀ azami izumida ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were pretty much a common thug. you'd like to describe yourself otherwise, but you weren't dumb, you knew that you didn't mean much more to the yakuza group you were part of. it was just the lot in life you were born to.
✿ you were 14, while azami was 13. far too young for the life you were living, but having been born into a yakuza family you didn't have much of a choice.
✿ you were really just on a walk, having nothing better to do when you laid eyes on a very lost looking boy who you immediately recognized as a rivalling group's leader's kid. you weren't really sure what to do in a situation like this, but you couldn't let such an opportunity pass you by. so you immediately went up to him, under the guise of wanting to help.
✿ azami was looking for a make-up store, which you rather easily directed him to. you didn't really care for it, but your oma liked experimenting with her make-up. this seemed to get azami comfortable enough to start talking to you, which lead to the topic of his dreams. something about listening to him made you think.
✿ azami didn't actually pay much attention to you at first, really only interested in finding the damn make-up store. but once he actually started talking, and got one look at your amazed face, something in his chest jumped a little.
you also didn't really pay much attention to the kid at first, beyond his usefulness to you. but once he started talking... something about his passion for such a mundane thing (to you) was so endearing. you were certain that you just fell in love.

A3! Event Story Translation “Moon Traveler” - Chapter 1
A blast from the past and MANKAI's plans for the upcoming performances.
On one spring night, just a few weeks before my birthday—— I slipped away from the institution and went to the hometown where I grew up in.
It took some hours to get there by bus, and the trip back would take just as long. The only money I had to my name was pocket money I saved up from helping out. If I lose this, then I can’t go back home. I clutch the coins in my pocket.
No matter how uncomfortable it was, there will always be food to meet you when you go back to the institution; it’s the only way you can avoid dying out in the streets.
If I don’t return before the break of dawn, I’ll be sent to the punishment room.
I briskly walked along the fenced path then came to a halt. I put my hand on the lower half of the wall where two blocks fell off. I pulled myself up and jumped over the wall in one fell sweep.
The night I was kicked out from my household, there’s a vacant lot where I look up at the moon alone. Nothing had changed. I thought I’d feel some fond nostalgia, yet strangely, I felt nothing at all.
“Ah, right. The moon…”
Only tiny stars were twinkling in the night sky.
“Why can’t I see the moon?”
All of a sudden, I heard a boy’s voice and turned around in surprise.
“Do you know why?”
Before I knew it, in the supposedly empty vacant lot, stood a boy dressed in stark white.
“... It’s cause the moon has already set. The moon sets just like the sun does. You can’t just see it anytime you want just because it’s night.”
“Wow, you sure know your stuff! You even jumped over that high fence just now, didn’t you? You’re pretty athletic too, that’s amazing.”
The boy’s eyes were sparkling.
(What the hell is with this guy… at this hour too, talk about suspicious…)
As I was about to put some distance between us, I heard loud voices talking.
“Hahaha! That’s why I’m telling you, you drink too much! You’re gonna get pissy again!”
“You’re one to talk!”
It sounded like footsteps of men who seem to be on their way home from a bar getting nearer.
My body started to tremble.
(If they found us kids in a place like this at this hour, we’re sure to get in trouble. We need to make haste and run away…)
As I started taking my steps, my gaze wandered to the boy, dazed, wondering what was on his mind.
(No, I might as well leave him behind.)
Just as I was about to start running, he grabbed my arm quickly to stop me.
“Hey.”
“What?”
“Do you have a family?”
The boy’s question brought several faces to surface in my mind. In an instant, I drowned them all out with a sense of contempt.
“Not really.”
“Do you have a dream?”
(Talk about carefree…)
Now’s not the time to be talking about that. I try to shake his arm off, but he’s surprisingly strong.
“Hey, what’s your dream?”
“Dream…?”
Frustrated, I looked up at the night sky involuntarily, what I was looking for was not there.
It’s like everything I want disappears from my grasp.
“I got none.”
“Then, will you make my dream come true with me?”
The boy said, smiling softly.
*Flashback end*

Alright, that’s gonna be it for today’s leader meeting.

Yup, just shifting roles.

Perceptive as ever. We were planning to talk about it later.
Then, let’s get started with Spring troupe’s meeting.
First on the agenda, is regarding the 10th Spring troupe performance. Earlier at the leaders’ meeting, we talked about having the sixth member of each troupe play the lead role.
Sakuya
Guy-san for Winter, Azami-kun for Autumn, Kumon-kun for Summer and we have Chikage-san for Spring troupe!
Chikage
And why is that?
Izumi
I think it’s time to show off our individuality more than ever in preparation for the new Fleur Award, which will begin under the new structure.
And the last four guys to join the troupe, you’ve only had one lead role, correct?
I figured it’d be refreshing and topical to have you guys play lead roles again.
Additionally, we simply wanted to see the growth of you four compared to when you first joined the company.
Chikage
So that’s why.
Sakuya
I also learned a lot from my second leading role in the company’s flagship performance. I was hoping Chikage-san would experience it too!
Tsuzuru
Besides, anyone who plays the lead role always ends up improving quickly.
Itaru
It’s a great opportunity.
Citron
Chikage can have a breakdance with this!
Masumi
Breakthrough.

Though, isn’t it going to be tenth anniversary play of each troupe? Am I really suited for the lead role?
Izumi
It’s a nice milestone and a commemorative number, but for the theater troupe, this is just a passing point.
Sakuya
We’ve got to keep going!
Chikage
You’re all overflowing with positivity.
Masumi
So, what’s the move? You in or not?
Chikage
Well… even if Director-san says it’d just be a passing point for us, I think the fans will expect something more for the 10th show.
They might wonder what we got up our sleeves after so many performances.
I had a warm welcome as a rookie for my first lead role, I feel a little pressure, but…
I’ll do it. Everyone’s gonna be expecting a lot from me.

Izumi
Just goes to show how much he thinks of the theater company.

Since Chikage-san’s gonna be the lead for the first time in a long while for this show, I’ll put my all into the script too!

Drabblecember Day 24 + 25: Big Get Together + Gift Exchange

Lu softly smiled to herself, gazing over the Mankai dorm’s common room, at all the commotion over the annual Christmas party. It was always an event to remember, at least according to Sakuya, along with a few of her friends outside the company, several of which were also attending for their first time, some for a repeat year. The chatter of the members turned to mush in her ear as she took a sip of her drink, taking a gander at all the attendees.
There were the members of the company, that was a given, she thought as she watched Masumi vying for Izumi’s attention, only for him to notice Lu staring, giving her a nasty scowl. She smirked, gesturing for him to get back to what would be a fruitless endeavor for him. Tsuzuru groaned, taking Masumi’s shoulder to attempt to lead him to grab more snacks, apologizing to their director as he did so.
Looking to the kitchen, she spotted Banri and Juza bickering as usual, this time over whether or not Juza really had enough gingerbread. Isa was at Banri’s side, tugging at his sleeve as she begged him to calm down, telling him it really was up to Juza when he had enough. Hahn only chuckled from where she sat next to Juza, taking his hand as he took another bite, making sure to give Banri a firm scowl before turning back to his partner as they planted a kiss to his cheek.
Lu had to laugh a little at the scene, grateful she wasn’t the one Banri was at the throat of tonight, though she did feel a little sorry for their poor partners.
A quick glance to one of the corners of the room led her to find Free, Taichi, and Azuma talking softly about something or another. Taichi was constantly rubbing her back, making sure she wasn’t overwhelmed by the noise or people at any point, and Azuma kept his voice low as well. It was a peaceful sight, Lu thought, and Free was lucky to be cared for so deeply, especially during this season.
It was a lovely party, and it was a nice feeling to be surrounded by family and friends so closely like this. That was, except for the fact that something was missing. There was one place she kept finding herself drifting to, and for good reason.
Sakuya sat by the window, staring out into the dark courtyard. He had briefly mentioned hoping for a white Christmas to her the day before, but she didn’t expect him to be that invested in attempting to get it to snow, even if his method was to simply sit and stare.
Lu stood to approach him, placing a hand on his back.
“You think staring out there’s gonna make it snow?” She asked, startling him.
“Oh! I mean, you never know, right?” He replied with a nervous giggle.
Lu could only sigh. She set her drink down, dragging her fingers down his arms to find his hands, taking them gently.
“Are you okay? You’ve been kinda quiet,” she noted. Sakuya simply shook his head.
“I’m okay. It’s just… it’s nice. It’s loud and chaotic, but it’s kinda calming,” he responded, a soft smile gracing his features. Lu breathed a sigh of relief.
“Thank god, I was worried you were drowning again,” she joked, letting go of his hands to give him a teasing shove. “Oh, by the way, is it fine if I give you my gift now? I doubt I’ll stick around after the party, and there’s only a few more hours left of Christmas.”
Sakuya’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Now?”
“I can stay after if you want, though, it’s fine-“
“No, it’s great! Just let me get yours, okay? Meet me in the courtyard,” he punctuated his request with a peck to her cheek. Lu grinned.
“Gotcha.”
Sakuya waved to Lu as he exited his room, a small, but exquisitely wrapped, present in his hands. She returned the gesture as he sat on the bench next to her.
“Do you wanna go first or should I?” Lu asked, looking to his gift, then back to hers.
“You should go first! Mine’s, uh, kinda special,” Sakuya replied hesitantly.
“Okay. Then, here!”
She held out her gift to him, a small box wrapped in paper lined with hearts, topped with an adhesive bow. He took the gift graciously, carefully tearing into the paper, being as gentle as possible.
What he revealed was a silver necklace, with a dog tag pendant. He brought the tag into his palm, taking a closer look as to what was engraved on it.
On one side, it was his name. On the other, Lu’s. Each was followed by a small heart beneath the name, and Sakuya felt his cheeks heat up at the amount of effort she must have gone through to do all of that for him.
“I tried to get it in a style you might like so you could use it often!” Lu blurted. “Is it okay? Was I close?”
Sakuya hesitated, looking back to the pendant, before tackling Lu into a hug.
“I guess I have my answer!” She said with a giggle.
“It’s perfect,” he murmured into her.
“It’s not much! Kinda pricey, but really, it’s the least I could do! I love you, Saku!”
“I love you too,” he repeated, releasing his hold. “My turn, I guess.”
Sakuya held out his gift to her, displaying the hard work he had put into just the wrapping. Lu took it gently, casually tearing into the paper. What awaited her was a sight to behold. She opened the box, only to gasp at what greeted her.
She was met with a silver ring, engraved with a pink gemstone. Lu stared at her boyfriend, jaw slack. He bashfully scooted slightly closer to her.
“It’s a promise ring,” he started, taking the ring from its box. “I figured that once everything settles down with Mankai, maybe we can too. If you’re up to it, I mean,” he added.
He took her hand, treating it as if it were the most delicate thing on the planet, and slowly slipped the ring on her finger. Lu watched him with careful attention, her breath catching in her lungs.
“I love you,” Sakuya repeated once more, placing a gentle kiss to her knuckle, just like that first day.
Lu couldn’t believe this was happening. She gasped, only to plunge into his arms, stealing his lips for her own. He jumped, but settled into the kiss, allowing it to last as long as they could let it. When they released, it was with a small murmur from Lu.
“I love you too. I’ll stay. I promise.”
“Good.”
Lu sat up properly, raising her head to stare at the sky. She smiled excitedly.
“Saku,” she whispered. “Look.”
He complied, and gasped a little.
“It’s snowing,” he breathed.
“Looks like you got that white Christmas you wanted. Wait, can I change my gift? Can we pretend like this was also my gift?”
“Sure. Maybe it was,” Sakuya replied with a chuckle, scooting closer to Lu to watch the falling snow.
Lu grinned, planting a kiss to the top of his head.
“Oh, I almost forgot. Merry Christmas, Saku.”
“Merry Christmas, Lu.”

Amadate: By the way, I heard that your show starts tomorrow?
Amadate: It's been a hot topic of discussion at the board meetings. I'm looking forward to the second part of the performance.
Sakuya: Thank you! Will you also be coming to see the show, Amadate?
Amadate: The entire board of directors has been invited, so I'll find time to come and see it.
Sakuya: Then I'll do my best!
Sakuya: This time, I'm playing the role of an orphan raised by space pirates and somehow, it resonates with my own life.
Sakuya: I've always admired the pirate captain played by you and started acting because of it, and now I’ve found a place here at Mankai Company.
Sakuya: I’m truly happy that you’ll be watching.
Amadate: ...I heard that this performance was built off of the concept made by the first generation’s scriptwriter, Hakkaku.
Sakuya: Yes! Both Tsuzuru and the God Troupe's scriptwriter, Madoka, co-wrote the script together.
Amadate: Actually, the script for the pirate performance that you saw back then was inspired by Hakkaku’s concept of the private performance.
Amadate: It couldn’t even compare to Hakkaku's scripts though.
Amadate: I actually wanted him to write it, but since he was working exclusively for this theater company, that didn't happen.
Amadate: That pirate performance tour was the last time I traveled across the country as an actor.
Sakuya: Is that so...?!
Amadate: We received a letter of gratitude from the police department— They wanted to thank the troupe members for our quick actions in evacuating the elementary school students safely from the fire that broke out during the play.
Amadate: The troupe's achievement was even featured in a national newspaper. That incident further raised the profile of the Hyakka Troupe.
Amadate: Furthermore, I am proud to say that one young man with a promising future decided to pursue a career in theater thanks to that performance.
Sakuya: That's... I've still got a long way to go...!
Amadate: I wish you good luck with your performances. Well, I'll be off then.
Sakuya: Thank you very much!
Sakuya: ...
Izumi: Huh? You're here early.
Sakuya: Good morning. I woke up early, but felt a bit restless staying in bed...
Izumi: You're quite enthusiastic.
Sakuya: Actually, I just happened to meet the actor I admire.
Izumi: The actor you admire?
Sakuya: The one I told you about earlier!
Sakuya: It's the actor who played the captain in the pirate performance by Hyakka Theater Company that I saw when I was in elementary school.
Izumi: Really? So you found out who it was?
Sakuya: His name is Keiju Amadate, and I heard that he had retired from acting and is now the head of a theater company.
Izumi: …!
Izumi: Amadate... Really?
Sakuya: Yes!
Sakuya: He told me that the Mankai Company's performance was being talked about at the board meeting...
Sakuya: I'll have to work hard for the second part!
Izumi: (I never thought that he'd be the actor that Sakuya looks up to...)
Izumi: (And what was he doing here? What did he come to do?)
Izumi: (I wonder if I should talk to Kamikizaka about it later.)

Sakuya Sakuma’s Twin Bun Era(REAL)(NOT CLICKBAIT)(GONE WRONG)
Happy Halloween!!! This is a sequel/alternate POV to my friend @hqissodelicate’s fic, so be sure to read that as well!! Hehe enjoy!!
It’s not every day that one of your troupemates and your former senpai ask if they can dress as you and your boyfriend for Halloween, that was for sure. And yet, here Lu was, blinking in surprise as Isa proposed the idea to her and Sakuya one evening.
“It would be fun, don’t you think? Banri-kun was the one who suggested it!” Isa explained giddily, beginning to bounce on her toes.
“That sounds really cool, you two! Of course you can dress as us!” Sakuya replied, his smile just as bright as Isa’s, making it almost impossible for their partners to see through their blinding light.
“So who would be who?” Lu asked, still a little unsure on the idea.
“We figured I could be you, an’ Isa could be Saku,” Banri explained.
Lu let out a snort.
“Sorry, Banban, but I doubt you could pull off my look, it’s a little too… girly for you, don’t you think?” She retorted smugly.
“You little— you’ve seen me crossdress before, dammit! I know for a fact I’d look better in your clothes than you do!” He shot back, glaring down at her.
“I’d like to see you try.”
“Oh, it’s on,” he snarled.
“Please calm down, I’m sure you both look nice in Lu’s style!” Isa cut in, stepping between the two of them.
Banri sighed, reluctantly turning away from Lu to take her into his arms.
“Sorry, sorry, I know ya don’t like it when we fight,” he said, shielding her from his rival, right as she mouthed “whipped,” pantomiming a crack. He only grumbled, planting a kiss to Isa’s forehead to hide him flipping off Lu.
She could only giggle as the other couple left the room, leaving just her and Sakuya. Once she was sure they were out of earshot, she turned to him.
“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”
“I’m pretty sure!”
“Well, we’d better get on it, then! Let’s hit up a thrift store tomorrow and start! You know any good spots?”
“Who do you think you’re talking to?”

The next day, the two met up in front of a place Sakuya had his eyes on for a few weeks, a new thrift shop that opened up near the train station. They exchanged a determined look before taking the other’s hand, stepping into the shop.
They were not prepared for the sight that would greet them.
There, right in the middle of the cramped store, stood Banri and Isa, comparing different purple jackets on him in the women’s section.
Lu panicked, quickly ducking behind a rack in the men’s section, dragging a confused Sakuya with her.
“What’s going on-?“
“Shh! There,” Lu whispered, gesturing over to where their rival couple stood.
Sakuya poked his head out from between the clothes, only to immediately duck right back in.
“What do we do?” He asked, just as panicked as Lu. She only shrugged.
“It would take too long to wait them out, but we can’t start shopping without looking suspicious.”
“Should we just pretend it’s not for the costume?”
“Yeah, that might work!”
“Okay! Let’s get out of here, then,” Sakuya decided, stepping out from behind the rack, with Lu doing the same.
And yet the two, despite being actors, were awful at lying.
They found themselves aimlessly browsing the store, trying to make their way towards racks filled with plaid shirts and purples more than anything Sakuya would ever wear, and more dresses than Lu could be comfortable in. They struggled to make their movements look natural, and, no matter what they did, Isa and Banri found them anyway.
“Sakuya-kun, Lu-chan! What a coincidence!” Isa greeted, cheerfully jogging up to meet them.
“Uh, ahaha… nice to see you too, Isa-senpai! What are you doing here?” Lu returned, still holding the purple button-up she was examining.
“We came to get started on our costumes! What about you two?”
Lu hesitated, desperately turning to Sakuya for help.
“We’re just…shopping around! This place is one of our usual date spots after all, right, Lu?” Sakuya supplemented, awkwardly looking up to her.
“Right!”
Banri raised a questioning eyebrow.
“‘S rare that you shop in the men’s section, Lu, what’re ya up to?”
Lu gulped.
“I’m just looking for, um, a sweatshirt! Yeah, that! It’s better when they’re oversized, don’t you think?”
He only looked to the purple button-up she was holding, then back up to her. Then back to the button-up.
“…right,” he drawled.
The four sat in silence, each unsure of what to say or do in this scenario.
“Well, it was nice seeing you two, and good luck with your costumes! You can always ask to borrow clothes from us if you want to!” Sakuya exclaimed, trying to free everyone from the tension.
“Yep! You two have fun on your date, okay?” Isa returned, taking her partner by the arm, even if he refused to look away from the other couple.
Sakuya and Lu let out a sigh, their bodies relaxing instantly. Sure, that didn’t go as well as it could have, but it was decent enough to hopefully deter any suspicion from the two. Lu returned to the shirt she was holding up.
“I know this isn’t plaid, but it should work, right? It’s a deep enough purple,” she mused.
“Yeah, it looks good! But what about the vest?” Sakuya asked. Lu physically cringed.
“I am not wearing that thing. I’m pretty sure that’s a crime in three different countries.”
He had to laugh.
“I can’t say I don’t agree! I’m sure you’ll look good regardless, though.”
Lu blushed way more than she wished she had at that.
“Thanks. But what about you? We found a dress, but what about your hair?”
“What about it?”
“Isa’s buns?”
“Oh… right.”

By the time Halloween arrived, the two had spent far too long altering their clothing and begging Yuki for tips that they had entirely forgotten about the issue of hairstyles. It only came to them once they had finished putting everything on, from Lu’s slightly less obnoxious version of Banri’s typical spring outfit to Sakuya’s take on something Isa would wear, a white camisole dress complete with matching heels and a cardigan.
After they took their time praising and admiring their handiwork in the mirror of Sakuya and Citron’s dorm room, Sakuya froze, turning to Lu.
“Buns.”
“Buns?”
“Buns.”
“BUNS!!!”
In a flash, Lu was rummaging through her bag, searching for a hair tie at the bare minimum, hoping that, worst case, she could tie up some of his hair and call it good enough. His hair was short enough to pass it off, right? It wasn’t like it would take to a lighter dye, either.
After what felt like a thousand years of searching, she turned up with nothing. Lu sighed, sitting herself down on one of the cushions. Looks like their plan would only have to be half-baked.
Sakuya found himself sitting next to her, taking her hand in sympathy for some reassurance. He knew to wait for when she was ready to talk in these situations. After all, it’s what he would want, too.
That was, until he took a good look at Lu’s own hairstyle she had chosen for the day.
“…Lu?” He murmured, giving her hand a squeeze.
“Sorry, Saku, I know I should’ve been more prepared,” she sighed, squeezing his right back.
“No, Lu. Your twintails.”
“Hm? What about ‘em?”
“Can we use the hair ties from this? Banri keeps his hair down most of the time anyway.”
Lu’s eyes widened.
“Of course! Thanks, Saku!” She squealed, pulling him into a tight hug where he could only giggle.
In a haste, she undid her usual hairstyle, transferring it over to Sakuya with relative ease. Once she finally finished, she turned him to the mirror.
“What do you think?”
“It’s perfect! You ready to show them?”
“Yep! Let’s blow ‘em away!”

Izumi: (Well then, now that I’m done with outside work for today, I’ll do some shopping for dinner and then head home.)
Sakuya: Director!
Tenma: Good work.
Izumi: Good work to you too. Huh, did you guys have a leaders’ meeting?
Tsumugi: We all happened to have the day off, so the four of us went out together.
Izumi: Fufu, how nice. Where did you guys go?
Banri: We’ve been hangin’ around Chiyomi Station.
Tenma: There are a lot of shops in that area due to the redevelopment.
Izumi: Oh yeah, I remember seeing something about that on TV recently.
Sakuya: There were so many big commercial places and stylish restaurants that we could’ve spent the whole day there!
Izumi: Wow… Ah, they just opened a new theater there too, didn’t they?
Tsumugi: They did. I would’ve loved to see a play if the timing was right, but unfortunately, nothing was running at the moment.
Izumi: I wonder what kind of theater it is. Maybe I’ll be able to go there soon too.
Banri: If that’s the case, then we can give ya our recommendations of the places we found today. We’ll send ‘em to ya on LIME.
Izumi: Thanks!
*Phone buzzes*
Izumi: Huh, it’s the manager. I wonder if he has some kind of shopping request or something.
*Beep*
Izumi: Hello. Ah, I just got to the station, but is there something you want me to buy?

Izumi: Soba? But we just had curry udon yesterday…

Banri: It’s the manager, so it’s prolly nothin’ we need to worry about.
Izumi: Hmm, I mean, that’s possible, but… he said to hurry home as soon as possible, so we should probably get going.

Banri: For real? We were just talkin’ about the redevelopment of the Chiyomi Station, and now this.

Tsumugi: Ah, it looks like there will be an information session being held soon.
Manager: Director, can you attend the session on the company’s behalf?
Izumi: Understood. I’ll go.

Sakyo: Chiyomi Station, huh? I was just there recently and a lot sure had changed since I was a student.
Omi: Oh, that’s right, that’s around where you went to high school, isn’t it, Sakyo-san?
Azuma: Chiyomi High, correct?
Azami: That delinquent high school, huh…
Citron: Ooh! Did you have the tan-ran, bontan, regent delinquent style!? (1)
Sakyo: …Shut your damn mouths.
Izumi: Originally, they just planned to rebuild the building of Veludo Station and the surrounding deteriorating buildings, but…
Izumi: Veludo Way has recently become more lively, with more and more people visiting the area, and it seems that they have now proposed a community revitalization project.

Izumi: And today at the information session, there were no objections to anything said and it seems that the necessary explanations and approvals have already been given to the necessary parties.

Okimoto: And the real reason is because of your contributions to the community, such as being on the cover of “VELUDO” and helping out the local community.
Izumi: (Well, it seems like the steady activities that we took for granted have paid off…)
Izumi: …Thank you so much! Please let us do it!
*Flashback end*
Izumi: …I accepted the job on my own. Sorry.
Kazunari: What are you saying, Director-chan!? That’s like totes incredible!
Juza: Yea, ‘course we’re gonna accept.
Masumi: It’s okay, I’ll do anything for you.
Sakuya: This means we get to give back to Veludo Town! I’ll do my best too!

(1) This is a very dated sort of Japanese delinquent style. Tan-ran and bontan are variations of the top and pants of the traditional gakuran uniform respectively, and regent is a type of hairstyle that’s basically what I guess would be considered a pompadour hairstyle in English.

Tsuzuru: I’m really grateful and appreciated that Mizuno always supports me and the theater company.
When I look at the letters and the dandelions he sent me… I always feel encouraged and it helps me pull myself together.
That’s why whenever Mizuno faces problems, I want to do anything to help him. This time, thanks to the Director, I’m glad that I could be of help to him.
From now on, I hope I can continue to lend Mizuno a hand if something happens to him.

Not just that, it seems like he also checks each members’ Inste too… He even seems to understand the candies that Miyoshi-san is recently into, and Arisugawa-san’s current obsession after that.
He’s amazing, or rather, that’s just Mizuno for you… Well, he looks happy seeing our Inste, so I think that’s fine.

Tsuzuru: I heard that Mizuno was helping MIZUNO Enterprise in management while he was in university. Of course it’ll be the same with when he has meetings with our theater company but…
Wearing a suit properly, carefully preparing various materials, and communicating with others in a formal manner.
Doing such things is very cool in my point of view. And I respect that guy.
As a scriptwriter, I sometimes have opportunities to meet people other than our troupe’s members with Director, I need to be more reliable.
When having meetings with others, she has to think about lots of things. “As expected of our theater company’s general director”, I thought.
I’ll also work hard to become more reliable as a scriptwriter and an actor that will be worth standing next to the Director.
So that I'll be glad if I can make the Director think that she can feel reassured and rely on me.

Practise Conversation 1
Before I joined the theatre troupe, I just went to school because I was told to. And I went along with the classes and events without any real reason.
But after I met you and joined the troupe…
My daily life and my student life—everything changed.
There were times I thought it’d be boring going to school without you, so I didn’t want to go.
But I was happy you were supporting me. And I liked it when you’d ask about school and chat with me after I came home.
Also, everyday became noisy after I started going to Hana High with Sakuya and Banri.
So I think things have changed, in more ways than one.
Practise Conversation 2
Come to think of it, there was a swimming competition in the summer back during my Hana High days.
When I told Tasuku, he told me to aim for a good time since I swim pretty fast.
As a result, for some reason, I started practicing swimming with Tasuku.
But you wished me good luck, and I imagined you waiting for me at the finish line during the race, so I swam with all my might.
Because of you, I was able to set new personal record at the swim meet.
…Well, it might have slightly been thanks to training with Tasuku too.
Practise Conversation 3
The cultural festival at Hana High is one of my special memories from high school.
It’s because you came and we got to walk around inside the school together.
I was happy that I was able to serve you at my class’s food booth, and that we got to explore cultural festival together, even if our time was short.
It was really cute how you were excited to see the booths and how your eyes lit up when you wanted to go check out the next ones…
I was overjoyed I got to show you around the school that I attended…
It felt just like we were classmates and having fun at a school event together. I was so happy.
I told you this before, but Fuyou University holds its own school festival, so you have to come.
I’ll check for all the food booths, exhibits and programs that I think you’ll like.
It'll feel like we go to the same school again. This time, I’d like to walk around together while holding hands.
Masumi & Taichi Talk
Taichi: You were you hella popular with the ladies back in your Hana High days, weren’t you, Masumi-kun!
Masumi: Whatever. Not that I cared.
Taichi: Eh~. There could’ve been a whole shoujo manga series written about you, dude…
Wait, if that’s true, then did you experience all sorts of situations that I wish would happen to me!?
Masumi: Ha? What do you mean?
Taichi: Like getting called to the rooftop and getting confessed to. Oh, or having a love letter placed in your locker!
Masumi: …I feel like those happened, but I barely remember.
Taichi: ARE YOU SERIOUS!? Then did girls from different schools also wait at your school gate? And did Valentine’s chocolates get placed on your desk!?
Masumi: …I think those happened too, but I had no interest.
Taichi: WOAHHH, AWESOME! What about turning the corner and bumping into a girl with a piece of bread in her mouth on your way to school, and it turns out she was a transfer student!?
Masumi: That never happened.
Taichi: It didn’t, huh~. Then how about exchanging a notebook with someone and then you saw a heart-fluttering message written on the edge of the page!
Masumi: That didn’t happen either. But that sounds like good reference for a situation with Director, so explain it to me in detail.

oh ok more juju questions do you have any juza moments/thingies that you dislike?
YES. not necessarily his fault but I don't like how him wanting to do more traditionally "feminine" things like wear skirts/dresses or wearing makeup is played up for laughs when yuki is Right There and most of the other guys have done the exact same thing. I don't think it's unreasonable for certain people to express discomfort if they're made to do that kinda thing if they don't want to, but Juza has clearly expressed interest in it and rather than have the support the rest of mankai has, he's always immediately shut down.
Usually it's banri, but at some point I want yuki or taichi to encourage him to go for it and really hype him up, yk? Gender is fluid and personal and there is literally no excuse for it to be treated as a gag in a game where there's so much lgbtq+ coding. Juko was a fun little thing, but it was clearly an act and I don't think he should have to act like a stereotypical girl if that's not how he's comfortable, but let him do the other stuff, yk? They literally have a tailor and professional makeup artist, they can SURELY make it tasteful. They have the power to do it. They're just choosing not to and the day they actually let him do it without snide comments or making it a joke is the day I ascend.
If I could kill whoever was responsible for this... /hj
ALSO /nbh but I hate how people just see him as. Half of a ship. He is such a nuanced, brilliant character but some people treat him as just a blank insert to go with whoever they wanna pair him with. I like ships well enough, hell im a juban enthusiast, but when people are erasing chunks of personality and ignoring aspects of his character just to slot him into a ship it makes me 😐 so many people write him as just a himbo but he !! Has so much more to him and I don't think it's fair to him.
