Sometimes I really want to read a short summary of what to expect from a game with a very particular description that CATER to my OWN SPECIFIC interests, so here we go.
what to expect from IKKARUS AND THE PRINCE OF SIN
Visual novel, dating sim, with combat, very short game (in a little more than an hour you can finish one playthrough)
Combat follows a rock-paper-scissor system, where you can see the probability of your enemy choosing defense-magic-attack and you can choose accordingly
You play as Ikkarus, the owner of a tavern and local hero. You have one month to collect enough money to upgrade your tavern and pay a debt to the Baron
World building is minimal
Each day you can fight 1 enemy, collect rewards, use ingredients to make beer and sell beer. If you lose against the enemy you gain no money/ingredients
There are three love interests, and you will have to meet each one of them for an interview before hiring one to help you at the tavern
Each love interest has five scenes (the interview one, a "starting at the tavern scene", two character-specific scenes and an ending one)
Basically the game is 30 fights, with these few scenes in between. There is no dialogue choice, the only choice is who you will romance
The three love interests are all male characters, this is a mlm game. They are an orc, a human and a demon
I said world building is minimal because somehow the creatures you also defeat are orcs and demons (??)
the game is mainly fluff and cute
there are two endings for each love interest (a good one if you pay your debt, a bad one if you don't)
plot? Barely any. You have to collect money to pay a debt, and you interact with a character you hire to work at your tavern. gameplay? card-based combat, visual novel but no choices characters? Only four (your character and the three love interests) sadness level? none

Well you know what they say, if you want to get things out there you... have to get things out there
So Fantasy AU with Game Grumps
Tbh i dont know how this started... It might have been something along the lines of Dan would make a great bard, and Suzy is totally a druid... and everything went downhill from there, but also, who knows how my brain works there is like 4 trains of thought at the same time and they're all roughly have the same thoughts if that makes sense? So I'm thinking of something in 4 different ways and its hard to pinpoint from wich train the idea came from... yall still with me? Cause I tend to ramble when I'm panicking (and also dont know what I'm doing)
The idea is basic dnd party doing missions all over the fantasy land and nearly dying/accidentally destroying cults in the process of getting to the big plot (WICH I DONT HAVE LMAO, remember that comic about the "oh man, two cakes" guy? This is me presenting the ingredients of the cake and calling it a day, I am so sorry, my brain is way over the place to get you something better)
So far I have three paragraphs and is like 80% rambling, I feel like a deer in the headlights. Anyways so the characters;
Arin: half orc barbarian, dont know how to describe my decision other than.... big arms. And also, not to be thirsty on main he would look so good with tusks (sidenote: I love half orcs, never played dnd but honestly i would probably only ever play half orcs). Basic adventurer, left the place he grew up with when he was of age to find himself and get stronger, also since he kinda didnt like himself he tried to get rid of his tusks and long hair, but eventually left them to grow. Always travels with a companion and that doesnt always end well. Sweet, kind and funny, he makes friends wherever he goes, but also lots of enemies (like a lot of people want him death, even demons, and Arin still doesnt understand why cause hes not the worst person ever come on) its hinted through foreshadowing (i talk like this is a fucking show) that he is a vessel for an old moon/sun god, or is the moon/sun god reincarnated and he hasnt remembered yet. And by implied I mean, I've been playing with the idea, but I dont know if I'll follow through (at least its a plot)
Dan: elf bard, of roughly 250+ years, hes got the most experience in the bunch as an adventurer but also feels out of time because he slept through 50 years straight cause he was sick, when he woke up he found out lots of people he knew had died and that kinda fucked him up. Diplomatic in a tipical bard fashion (he will fuck his way out of the mess) but an experienced swordman as well (with both a longsword and a rapier). When he first woke up he got the first job that he could manage (mercenary) where he met Brian, he later left the job because it didnt feel right with him, and started travelling on his own, he met Arin and started travelling with him cause friendship and also barbarian here to make sure you dont die in battle you squishy elf
Suzy: elf druid, keeper of a forest near where Arin lived a season, befriended him when he was younger, never left the forest cause it was her duty to protect it, but it got invaded by a group of mercenaries and it got impossible for her to drive them off (like come on, she is strong, but its really hard to drive off like 50+ people) she tried to ask for help in the nearby towns but nobody came to her aid for being the witch of the forest, until eventually Arin and Dan accepted to help her, she later joined them in adventures. Her body is covered in tattoos, and is trying to convince Arin and Dan to get one as well (pls). Her favorite forms to take are bear, snake and spider (to scare Dan)
Ross: tiefling warlock. The first person to travel with Arin when he was younger, they met when Ross initially tried to kill Arin but failed, they became fast friends and also ride or die for each other, and Ross would never tell him that his patron ordered to kill him and his initial intent was to do it, but ended up liking Arin too much to get trough with it. Loves to antagonize Dan for the sake of it and sometimes gets jealous of him (I was his friend first) wraps his tail around Arin when he gets scared/is sleepy and Arin thinks its adorable
Brian: human rogue. Part of a mercenary crew that is absolutely despicable, met Dan when he first woke up and accepted him as the only partner (he killed all the others) since Dan fell asleep below a tree near the town Brian grew up with, and troughout his life he always saw Dan sleeping under a tree and now hes awake asking for a job here? You stick with me, I promise not to stab you (too much). Since he has a wife and daughter he want to leave the life of mercenary, so Arin agrees to help him kill his own boss (A+ on the handling things boys)
And then there is Barry, who I want to be a recurring character but I never really got into GG until he wasnt there so I dont know a lot about him, and theres a bunch of other characters that are definetly a part but also there is only so much I can write here and theyre kinda more like background
I write like those old fanfic writers who are always interrupting their own work but instead of pluging in something like 'lmao im crazy' im having a panic attack
Also I feel like I need to say this, this is technically polygrumps? But like most romance in any tv show, it add nothing to the plot, I just like shipping

How my WoW characters feel about Khadgar, or the thing I stole/took maybe without permission from @sigurdjarlson. I’m sticking to my ones who I play semi-regularly (and actually have character development), or we’d never get to the end (I’m a chronic alt-holic I am sorry).
Draggka (troll hunter) loves and adores him and would do almost anything for him. Although she can’t show her relationship with him publicly (not yet), Draggka can trust Khadgar to have her back in a fight, and to have his comfort in her bad times. Although she doesn’t understand much of it, she loves to listen to him talk about magic, and show off to her. As far as she’s concerned, Khadgar’s her life-mate, and woe betide anyone who tries to hurt him; her loyalty to him is stronger even than her Blood Oath to the Horde.
Dranka (troll druid) likes Khadgar, even though he was initially pissed off at him for breaking his little sister’s heart, but now they’ve made up, Dranka is chill once more. He’s pretty much Khadgar’s brother-in-law (bond brothers, in the troll sense), and thinks Draggka has excellent taste (he probably would have tried for a one-night stand with Khadgar or something if the archmage had wanted that). Calls Khadgar Atal’a (Devoted One) every now and again. Would still eat him if he upset Draggka though.
Tinkerspring (goblin priest) thinks Khadgar is A++ in her book. Has a sense of humour, loves blowing stuff up? Excellent! Sign her up for his frankly dangerous missions! She’s very happy that Draggka has hooked up with him; she thinks they’re perfect for each other. Also since she provided Khadgar some smutty romance novels for reasons, she loves to torment him by asking how his and Draggka’s sex life is going. Khadgar may have turned her into a sheep once or twice because of this.
Harnaka (orc shaman) also likes Khadgar. A little surprised he’s chill about her being an orc, considering his history, but she’s certainly not going to complain about it! Always a little wary of showing physical affection, because she is a tapestry of muscles and he’s a puny human and she’s afraid she’ll break him. Khadgar assures her it’s okay...and then nurses a bruise on his arm for the rest of the day after she playfully punches him.
Elizabone (forsaken warlock) is lukewarm, though not in a truly bad way. She heard of Khadgar’s reputation before she was turned, and is quietly bemused and pleased he appears to be chill with the Horde (or at least the Horde champions he associates with). Thinks he’s a ridiculous idiot who should do his own dirty work, but still does as he asks anyway. And would set a felstalker on anyone who tries to hurt him.
Aiyaona (tauren paladin) likes the Archmage, but also worries about him. She thinks he’s far too reckless and he needs to slow down a bit and think about what he’s doing. She’s too shy to tell him that, though. Khadgar’s very kind to her, and she appreciates that he takes her shyness into account and doesn’t yell at her when he needs her to do something. For that, she’d put her life on the line to defend him as easily as she does for her friends.
Cayeli (blood elf monk) is fairly sure Khadgar is off his rocker and that Draggka really shouldn’t be appeasing his frankly dangerous requests, but she does like him! If only because he’s fun; she’s thought a couple of times about whether she’d like to sleep with him, but his appearance puts her off. Although she thinks it’s hilarious when his plans blow up in his face, she’s always happy to bail his magical ass out of trouble.
Ichtaca (night elf demon hunter). She’s not quite sure who or where this human archmage came from when she stumbled out of the Vault of Wardens, but he is very friendly and warm and is one of the few who doesn’t treat her like a time bomb. So she really quite likes him. Not as much as Illidan, because, you know, Illidari and all, but she enjoys time with him.
Chiuza (draenei monk) really quite likes Khadgar. She thinks he’s a nice man who deserves good things, and she’d kick the head off any demon he wanted dead. Khadgar has seen those hooves in action, and he is very grateful they’re flying in the Legion’s direction, not his. She thinks he’s more than a little weird, but she figures he finds her a little weird too, so they’re equal.
Maevann (dwarf mage) looks up at Khadgar both literally and figuratively! She’s pretty starstruck by him, for all intents and purposes, and tends to stumble over her words when talking to him. She once asked him if he knew what his name meant in Dwarven, and still mortified about it (of course he knows, you dumb shit). This only gets worse when he learns of her talent for magical tattoos and becomes very interested. She’s not quite sure why, but certainly doesn’t help her crush!
Zal’ria (half-troll mage) no that’s cheating he’s her father.

2022 WRAP UP: Games played this year - useless recs list (with small review, and in vague order of my personal enjoyment):
01. Enderal: It climbed up to become one of my favourite games ever. I played it twice in a row (still finishing the second playthrough), really enjoyed the story, fell in love with the characters and definitely cried. I am reading the novel now.
02. Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous: I love this series of games, Kingmaker is still my favourite, but I loved the story of Wrath so much more. The mystery, the paths, the customizations! The only thing I missed was romance, I still have to find a romance I like and reply is hard because of how long the game is.
03. The Forgotten City: Beautiful adventure game recommended by lairofsentinel, great (basically) detective story. Interesting characters and definitely had a lot of fun trying to find out what the hell was going on.
04. Mass Effect Andromeda: For all the bad rep this game gets, I expected worse? I actually really really enjoy it. The story was nothing too exciting, and many quests were just fetch quests, but I still liked the characters a lot. The feeling of found family? Yes please. Jaal romance? Bring it on.
05. Gamedec: Among the new games that came out in recent years, this has to be one of my favs. The overall story was quite interesting, and the investigation really makes you feel like a detective. My only criticism is that there is little to no customization as by the end of the game you end up levelling up all skills, basically. Still enjoyable and good characters too.
06. Spellforce 3: Soul Harvest: I am at the very last mission. This game is adorable, even if the rpg element is a bit linear. I think, from what I understand, the dialogue choices do not have much impact. Basically, only the romance choice change the plot. Still, the art is very beautiful, the companions lovely and they are also all voiced. The plot was nothing special tho, kinda boring, but I had fun playing minimal Age of Empire tactics alongside the fighting.
07. Hatoful Boyfriend: WHAT TO SAY - this game is a big joke - not in a bad way, just in a "oh my god what am I playing" way. I would definitely recommend it. Do not take the romances seriously, the characters are just parody of usual visual novel romances - but the murder mystery is so eery and absurd!
08. Ash of Gods: I think this game is the better version of Banner Saga. The characters feels more like characters, and the story is a bit less linear and even if sometimes confusing, still enjoyable. For personal enjoyment, I would choose this over other games most times - and I did, I played it three times in a row. I am liking some of the characters so much that I am actually thinking of writing fanfics.
09. Tower of Time: If the ending had been different, this game would be in the top 3. I really enjoyed the plot, the mystery, the way you can explore this fantastical tower - the orcs!! I loved the orcs subplot! But it all comes to a big nothing that left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth. So - well, fun but disappointing.
10. Boyfriend Dungeon: HEAR ME OUT - this game is a visual novel with hack and slash fighting. The visual novel part is a bit... meh, and the plot is kind of absurd, but I enjoyed the idea of increasing your romance with character by using them to fight. In general I actually enjoyed it even if I won't ever play it again.
11. The Banner Saga: Interesting story, that gets a bit better the more you play. Some characters are pretty good - but generally they are not the main driver of this game. Still, I liked the gameplay enough that I will probably play 2nd and 3rd, even if the plot really did not leave a big impression on me... I barely remember it.
12. The Talos Principle: This game is amazing. The story is so well crafted... my problem is that I am bad at puzzles and easily frustrated. If you like puzzle games, I recommend this one because discovering the plot/lore of the world is amazing.
13. Hades: Okay, this game is great, just not for me. I am not a fan of hack and slash, and I get frustrated pretty easily, so playing the full game multiple times to reach the ending - it gets boring a bit too easily for me.
14. Black Geyser: A classic isometric rpg. I really did want to like it, but somehow... the plot is okay, but the characters are so flat. I felt no real connection to any of them, even the companions who join you end up joining you in such random ways and the ending seemed abrupt. Still if you want an isometric game to play, go for it.
15. Gods will be watching: I am still playing this one and I am eternally confused. The plot is quite interesting and the way the playthrough is incorporated is too, but it also looks quite random - as in there is no exact rule on how to pass every level, but a big level of randomization.
16. A golden wake: I love Wadjet Eye Games and A Golden Wake was one of their older ones that I wanted to play. It was a nice good combination of puzzle and characters, but I did not enjoy the setting too much. I won't probably replay it.
17. Seven: I just started it so I have no opinion yet - a part for the fact that I am somehow very bad at it!
19. Starfighter Eclipse: This is a very very short visual novel/dating sim - the plot is minimal and the romances non existent. It is basically a very short predictable event that allow you to get sex scenes in cut scenes and that is it.
Other games played from Itch.io and in random order:
Brassica: A Marry Tale: Cute AMAZING visual novel, with wlw and mlm content. Unfortunately it is unfinished... but it will be finished! I will wait for the next chapters.
One Night Stand: HORRIBLE. I HATE this game with a passion, because everything in this game seemed to led to crime (you wake up from a one night stand and can't remember anything, and the consent was so iffy, but somehow the game is supposed to be about humans connecting??)
Speed Dating for Ghosts: Beautiful small indie game about meeting different ghosts and going on "dates", mainly dealing with their deaths. I cried at least three times.
A Short Hike: Currently one of my favourite non rpg games. This game was beautiful and so calming. I loved everything about it, and cried a couple of times too. There is so much humor too. I definitely recommend it.
Overland: Fun game where you have to escape zombies. Sad that the characters are not really characters
Arcade Spirits: I am still playing this, sadly I am not big on visual novels. The characters are all interesting so I might try to finish this one.
The corner of SHAME: Games I never finished and never will (maybe).
Greedfall - this game is one of the most boring well packaged game I have ever played Hard West - I did not even... understand the plot Stardew Valley - not for me Wasteland 2 - I expected something completely different and was disappointed Fallout New Vegas - I will definitely play it because of the great recs, but I usually do not like action games of this type Danganronpa Happy Trigger Havoc - not for me
