Well, it is my post and I made it to stop people from buying the game until at least some stuff was fixed (ex. new game option). You can add whatever justification, but the original post was never "let's stop people from buying microtransactions" because it is often not that easy. Sometimes it is not a matter of "I think this item is not in game, so I need to buy the DLC" (even if the pendant and that specific camping gear are NOT in game), but it is more a matter of impulse control.
People who have the game, hopefully, won't buy the microtransactions - unless the game is actually forcing them to grind for resources in a not enjoyable manner. In that case it IS a game problem, and not a buyers-of-mtx problem.
Apparently dragon's dogma 2 is filled with micro transactions.... Even you change your character appearance?? Or create a new game??

Sometimes I really want to read a short summary of what to expect from a game with a very particular description that CATER to my OWN SPECIFIC interests, so here we go.
what to expect from IKKARUS AND THE PRINCE OF SIN
Visual novel, dating sim, with combat, very short game (in a little more than an hour you can finish one playthrough)
Combat follows a rock-paper-scissor system, where you can see the probability of your enemy choosing defense-magic-attack and you can choose accordingly
You play as Ikkarus, the owner of a tavern and local hero. You have one month to collect enough money to upgrade your tavern and pay a debt to the Baron
World building is minimal
Each day you can fight 1 enemy, collect rewards, use ingredients to make beer and sell beer. If you lose against the enemy you gain no money/ingredients
There are three love interests, and you will have to meet each one of them for an interview before hiring one to help you at the tavern
Each love interest has five scenes (the interview one, a "starting at the tavern scene", two character-specific scenes and an ending one)
Basically the game is 30 fights, with these few scenes in between. There is no dialogue choice, the only choice is who you will romance
The three love interests are all male characters, this is a mlm game. They are an orc, a human and a demon
I said world building is minimal because somehow the creatures you also defeat are orcs and demons (??)
the game is mainly fluff and cute
there are two endings for each love interest (a good one if you pay your debt, a bad one if you don't)
plot? Barely any. You have to collect money to pay a debt, and you interact with a character you hire to work at your tavern. gameplay? card-based combat, visual novel but no choices characters? Only four (your character and the three love interests) sadness level? none

"I'm sorry, my love..."
Everyone had a rough time getting through the Survivor Trial on Kazuwari, but Aloth's hands getting crushed by a boulder hit Sabina particularly hard, seeing as he's a wizard and he kinda needs those :(

Useless rpg recs. Videogames (rpgs or not) where you can romance an orc

Bastard Bonds (pixel rpg with turn based combat, protagonist can be male or female): Nazar (m)
Dear Monster (nsfw visual novel, dating sim, male protagonist): Slagathor (m)

No but the marketing for Bastard Bonds WAS WILD because why did I think it was some kind of edgy mature nsfw bara dating sim and instead it has:
A lot of exploration, a bunch of level up in a system I have never seen before (3x3 columns)
A set of recruitable characters with actual personalities
IT IS ACTUALLY KIND OF TOUCHING, the romance interest is so sweet??
kingdom/stronghold conquering and management
A LOT of fighting
I honestly love the idea of a bunch of people thrown in together in a criminal island and trying to trust each other's. I look forward to those events that apparently will happen if you have incompatible companions.

Would you consider adding Choice of Games text adventures to your curator list? Although I guess that would mean just adding the entire CoG library, because I'm pretty sure most of them (if not all) have same sex romance options.
I thought about it but I only played a few of them! I feel like most of CoG do have queer romances and allow you to play multiple genders too, so adding them feels a bit redundant! It is the same reason why I do not add all visual novels, because in general these kinds of games are expected to have multiple wlw and mlm and nb love interests!

Just found out that Germany does not sell NSFW games. Not sure if it's just gay NSFW because basically mature queer games? They don't exist on my steam. Some of them are only in censored versions but the free steam adult patch does not exist. Not "this is not available", just "error not found".
When I was playing symbiant I was like, wow this game is super tame and has a lot of fade to black. There's barely a kiss, so weird for a game and tentacles
Well, I accidentally found out (in the discussion page) a bunch of people asking how to install the adult patch, but all the steam links gave me an error because... Censorship??
