i miss succession and the community it gave me </3
#i know most of you are still there but it's not the same. and that's okay because it's been nearly a year since it ended!! it's normal#but i also miss it. spring and summer 2022? some of the happiest time of my life!!! i've always wanted to be a part of something#and i truly got to experience that. and i am grateful!! but thinking about it makes me nostalgic and also a little sad.#mostly because i feel like i'm never going to have that again. and also because i miss the people. it's wild how you talk to someone daily#and now it's been over a year since we've been in contact. a specific kind of a heartbreak!!#yes the fact succ ended is hitting me now. a year later. everybody moved on i stayed here <3#but anyways i am so so grateful for all of the people who have been here experiencing the mass hysteria of succ together!!!! the past years#have been worth it because of you <3#yes the loneliness hit me bad. shhh it's midnight i'm allowed

Sanuso (Usopp is transmasc btw. Important thing here) would have two twin daughters accidentally because they make love right after they see each other in Sabaody and they don't really have the time to think about protection or, you know, have common sense. Then, everything happens without the knowledge of Usopp being pregnant until the Dressrosa group arrives at Zou and Usopp starts feeling sick.
Btw, ignore all the common sense for pregnancy. I will do research but not much because the timeline in OP is so short and everything happens so fast and I want the angst to fit in here. So just assume everything I say is medically accurate.
Law instantly notices something's off and tells both Chopper and Usopp (when they reunite with the others) to join him in a more private place. Honestly, the only reason he's doing this is because he refuses to let one of these idiots get in the way of his mission and alliance, he doesn't want to know anything about romantic dramas or anything. Anyway, he has a talk with a very confused Usopp and asks questions that instantly make Chopper realize what's going on. Law ends up doing a quick check-up and... This is way worse than what he was expecting because he could kind of deal with a pregnant pirate, but a pirate pregnant with twins? No. This is a nightmare. Usopp is still confused and Law wants to get over with this already, so he's like: "Long story short, bad news. For me, mostly. And for you too, depending on how fond you are of kids and how much of a jerk is the person you slept with." And basically, Usopp panics. Sanji is loyal to him and they love each other. They even talked about how much they both wanted kids (they're not at that point yet and they didn't even say anything about having them together. They just said they wanted kids at some point) but he's still extremely worried about what Sanji might say. The thought of not having their kids doesn't even cross his mind until Law says: "I mean... I could just help you get rid of them. Poof! Bye babies. Hi pirating again. Hi Wano. And no words to daddy. Or mommy. Or whatever. How does that sound so we don't have to deal wit-" and Usopp instantly goes defensive about it, realizing that he wants to have them. Or at least talk to Sanji about it first.
Chopper hears everything and is there the whole time and... He doesn't have good news, of course, but he waits until all of them are together to tell them what happened with Sanji. This is the reason why Usopp refuses to go to Whole Cake Island and prefers to join the Wano group instead, knowing that the rescue adventure will be more dangerous and refusing to acknowledge that his boyfriend might get married to somebody else. He just tells Luffy to bring back Sanji for him. Almost begs him. And Luffy, carelessly as ever, accepts in the most optimistic of ways.
Usopp doesn't tell anybody about it and everyone thinks he's just sick. The only one who notices him being weird is Zoro, but when he asks what's wrong, Usopp refuses to tell him the truth and quite obviously lies about what's going on. Zoro just tells him to come to him if he ever needs anyone to talk to, and honestly? Who is he going to talk to? Franky? Robin could be a nice option, actually, but he doesn't really know how to approach the topic and he already knows that her calm, reassuring words won't be enough to calm him down. He needs honesty. Harsh reality. And he knows the answer is Zoro. Plus, they're closer. And Zoro obviously notices something. So Usopp can't keep the secret anymore because he's literally dying of stress as he thinks about Sanji and what's going on in WCI. He ends up telling Zoro and he's like:
Zoro: So what are you going to tell curly?
Usopp: I'll just- I don't know.
Zoro: Do you want the kids?
Usopp: If he-
Zoro: But do you?
Usopp: I think so. Yes. Even if it looks harder to achieve my dream this way. Lots of pirates have had kids!
Zoro: Then that's it. Solved. You're welcome.
Usopp: Okay, haha, no. Nope. I'm not having these kids without him. Thank you.
Zoro: Your body, your choice, your kids. If he doesn't want them and you do, he'll still have to deal with them. We're on the same crew.
Usopp: So that's why I can't have them if he doesn't want them. I can't just-- Burden him with-
Zoro: Well, the first mistake here was his. I even know about condoms.
Usopp: You're not being very supportive right now, you know?
Zoro: Well, you wanted the truth. This is the truth. You can do whatever the fuck you want. And what makes you think he won't want them, again?
Usopp: Mm. I dunno. I just have the feeling something bad is going to happen soon.
Zoro: He's a pussy and a women-obsessed weirdo but- He loves you. Or at least he looks like he loves you. And he's always annoying the shit out of me saying that once he has kids they're going to be better than mine, so he does want to have them. Even if it's only to piss me off.
Usopp: I just- I think I just need to wait until he comes back. He will come back and we will talk about this.
Zoro: You don't sound so sure.
Usopp: No, I have never been more scared. I am not sure. But-
Zoro: But when you're scared, the only thing left for you to do is to trust in Luffy.
Usopp: Yeah. Trust in Luffy. If he doesn't come back with my boyfriend I am going to murder him.
Zoro: Careful, you're starting to sound like you doubt our captain.
Usopp: No. I trust Luffy to do everything he can. But Sanji's stubbornness is just... Too much sometimes.
But Sanji comes back to him. Obviously. And Usopp knows that, despite the bad feeling he's having about all of this, they will be alright. And I don't talk more about this because I have 0 energy right now to continue writing about this now. Maybe another day. I just wanted to post this right now because it's been on my drafts for AGES. So here it is. I will keep talking about this someday I promise.

This is Remu, our sweet pup who was put to sleep today, 8th of April 2024... The procedure went smoothly, he almost got to the age of full 11 years. This summer it would have been his 11th birthday.
In memory of him, let me tell you about how our little rascal was like. This is going to be a long post so buckle up. I'll put more pics in at the end.
He was a rescue dog, he came to me and my mom through my oldest big brother around year 2018. He was around 5 years old back then and he was born during summer, what I heard from my brother is that the pup was super skinny when he first got Remu.
Remu was an absolute lap dog, he loved being on our laps and in our holds. Loved sleeping next to us. ((He was like little heater! Very warm hahahh)) Sometimes when we would do stuff around the house he had to be with us on the thing!
For example if I was sitting on the floor and moving plants to new pots or I was cleaning my pet bugs little habitats, it was guaranteed he would be on my lap. And he would always be listening what we're doing.
Oh he was one stubborn and clever fella, there is a reason why I call him a rascal! Of course in the most loving way possible. He was like a big dog in small dog's body. His barks were LOUD.
He wasn't that trusting at first and god forbid if you touched his paws and tried to bath him, or even reached out to him in certain way! Face was off limits. So it was heartwarming how over time he came to trust me. So much so I could do almost anything with him, it got to the point where he let me even rub my finger between his eyes and wipe his cute little snoot if there was something.
Oh any visitor would still get bunch of barks and growls! Never biting tho, but he would let you know that hey, this is his turf! His home! Would even start barking even if he heard my younger old brother through phone. (He still got onto brother's lap and all, pfft) It was kind of silly to see how little mohawk would rise on his back.
Like a true summer dog, he loved basking under the warm & hot sun. I think his belly even got tanned because of this. (Oh Remu, you silly.)
And goodness did he love to run when able to during our walks.
Gosh, let me tell you, whenever he would greet another dog his ears got so high up it looked like he had bunny ears! Adorable.
And his adorable little hop running when inside... It's a shame I never got it on video, but it was silly fun and cute thing he did.
Oh he would do this thing though where he would whine and paw at bed/floor as if he wouldn't be able to get off our beds! (mattresses on the floor btw.) He was fully capable of getting off and all, he just decided to turn dramatic if we were observing him.
Another dramatic thing he did was flip over a bowl when asking for food. Even start rolling up the blanket on his own bed and oh, so vocal. He was a vocal pup.
He never seemed that interested in toys, only playing with them when we prompted him and played with him with them. Eventually his favorite type of play would turn out to be chasing hand under the blanket and and also digging at our blankets while I scratch his head.
Hahh, he sometimes would playfully try to get at our feet, mostly during feeding time. Such a silly pupper.
All in all, he was a lovable silly rascal and one heck of a cuddly dog.
I'll forever miss him, and I am happy he was in our lives, even if I was hesitant to take him in at first. I am so thankful I was able to be there with him and for him on his last moments, when I wasn't able to for our previous pet so many years ago.
Now... May you run a lot, buddy. Run lots and lots… To your heart's content. Get all the treats you so love, till your belly is full.

sometimes i wish people could properly understand why i apologize for falling asleep before or during a conversation
#‘its okay’ no it isnt#its not okay#because if i fell asleep before talking to you that means i missed out on talking to you#and now ive talked to you less than i want to#and i barely get to talk to you as is#so ‘its okay theres next time / right now’ yeah but i missed THAT TIME#and then what if they end up not replying until the day later?#i have to go so long without talking to one of my favorite people#and then that ruins my whole mood because its that theyre one of the few people who actually keep me happy#and are the reason im still getting through this shit#so what am i supposed to do going what would be practically 2 days without talking to that person??#its not their fault#it isnt mine but it feels like its mine#because i know i couldve stayed up#if i would if sat up instead of laying down#took the blankets off so i wasnt warm and comfortable#i’d be freezing and uncomfortable so i wouldnt be able to fall asleep#and i know that#but i stayed comfortable anyway#so that makes it my fault

just watched the brazilian production of matilda the musical and to the surprise of no one i cried. to the surprise of some, 4 times.
#it was soooo good#i love matilda so much#in all its forms#but especially the musical#i went to london when i was 13 and my parents asked me if there was anything i wanted to do and they’d see if they could fit it#and i asked to see matilda the musical in the west end#it was too expensive for the whole family to go to but my mom took me#it was amazing i’ll never forget seeing when i grow up live and just bursting into tears#and now it’s 8 years later and i took my mom (and my aunt) to watch the brazilian production and it was just as great#i cried a few minutes into miracle then in school song for some reason? and then when i grow up of course and finally at the encore#also the set design was insane#the stage was like a circle with big letters spelling matilda…#but when they brought a certain letter upfront and showed its back it made up a different setting like matilda’s room or miss honey’s house#it was so freaking cool like please search pictures#also unrelated but mrs wormwood did a silent bend and snap at some point in the beginning of the show and i laughed so hard#no one else did but it’s okay myra i saw it and i appreciate it#(myra ruiz played mrs wormwood and fabi bang ms honey)#(if these names seem familiar to you it’s cause they’re the incredibly iconic brazilian elphaba and glinda respectively)#my post#matilda#matilda the musical

.... So it's been a week since we've last seen you. I know why you're gone but still. I miss you. We all do. Someone asked @angelcloves about you actually, they were worried why you haven't been posting. Fae was kinda polite and discrete about it, don't worry.
Nothing much has been going on really, more of the same actually. @el-fandom-birb and @stars-and-birds had a lovers quarrel over a meme (???) and now they're being dorky vampire/werewolf lovers. Send help. @haystarlight has been tagging Human as per usual. OH! Charolette is gonna make a continuation to that chess match fic between Papa Titan and Caleb! (Still don't know much about chess but I thought you'd appreciate it.)
Speaking of fics, remember that one post I reblogged with a looot of tags talking about a potential AU? I asked Charolette for some advice and fae were really nice! Still have yet to do anything for it, haven't even written the draft yet hahahaha

We got a ToH PostHoot and everyone has been going nuts over the new info (Huntlow is bi4pan, Raine's palismen was in their violin, Evelyn was Flapjack's witch, Caleb and her were friends (cuz he was really interested in magic lol) but ya know how that goes lol, she was also a Clawthorne but no one knows apparently and a lot more I'm blanking on)
Fun fact: I made pasta today :D I'll dave some for you when you come back.
..... I'll admit, my dash feels pretty empty without you actually. I knew that would be the case when you told us you'd be gone for a while but still. It feels weird not seeing you in my notes as part of the "Biggest Fans" line up. You had a solid spot on there for a while. I miss you a lot.

tormented by demons (← had to redo all the VCs they'd oto'd so far because they miscalculated the base values and has now been stricken by the urge to just hand-stitch all these CVVC samples into plain VCV, as if turning like 80 WAV files into 300 or more six times over is not more work than just oto'ing CVVC)
#i'd still like to experiment with converting one of my cvvcs into vcv someday#but that day probably shouldn't be today sdkjhflgkj#anyway if nothing else this has me deliberately moving the hell reclist i used into a shame folder#like i completely get it now why avoiding redundancy is such a big thing#like YES this format has provided me great alternatives to some poor samples more than a few times#but i think at this point i would have rather just frankensteined fixes on a note-by-note basis#rather than have to oto all of these so i have the option later#or like#okay i know technically i Do Not need to be oto'ing all of these#all i need are the start notes and the continuous notes#and the vcs#which i can get by just fully oto'ing the 7 mora string#and then taking the start of each of the 2 mora strings#but my brain gets So Mad and Antsy at the thought of it kjsdhlfg#very 'What If There's A So Much Better Sample In There And You Miss It Because You Skipped OTO'ing It' skdjfhgjk#im in a hell of my own neurodivergent making
