late Carlo and Moretti (during vinci-moretti war) are like Luca and Clemente to me. Moretti will never raise his hand on Carlo but! will he drive him into guilt in ways that are not direct? insult him in passing? convince Carlo that he's doing everything wrong, when in fact it's the opposite? of course such a painful kick to Carlo's ego, it's unfair, he doesn't deserve it. and it's not a father-son relationship, it's a professional relationship and he can't say anything back & defense himself in any way maybe Moretti's more favorable to Eddie in this period because he's more blindly loyal and Carlo feels he's about to explode

maybe getting up at the crack of dawn, getting on a train and spending my last money on thrifting and art supplies in another city will fix me 🤔

#the thrift shops open at 10am and i have several locations i could go to all over the city...#taking the tram... looking at things buying things... craft and art supplies homegoods clothes... just like old times #when i lived there and could have that any day of the week after classes were over #or on the weekends when i'd wake up early fresh and rested clean my entire apartment and then travel all over the city for fleamarkets #and other fun activities... oh i miss it so. even though my apartment was shitty and some of the college classes gave me hella anxiety #it was a good time. had my own 4 walls to come home to at the end of the day. could do my grocery shopping in peace in the grody little aldi #a few blocks down and listen to my music as much as i wanted 🙏 cook my own meals. experiment with new food and spices #curl up infront of the tv on my big comfy sofa and take the best naps ever #I MISS IT SO MUCH WAAAHHHHH

#I'm tired as hell of being sick #the magnitude of the boredom that comes with being sick with a chronic illness is crazy #i have between 0.5-6 hours out of bed per day. usually around 3 or 4. i spend almost that whole time cooking and shopping and cleaning #and taking care of what needs to be done before time is up and i need to lay down again #when I'm in bed i don't have the energy for anything except watching easy to digest shows or youtube videos or scrolling on tumblr #maybe some writing or drawing if the brain fog isn't too bad #my life is just a haze of one million meds and supplements and doctors visit after doctors visit #and smoking weed so I'm not debilitated by nausea 24/7 and sleeping. so much sleeping. I'm so bored. I'm so desperately bored.#i miss having a shitty retail job and going out with my friends after work and going to events #and being able to go anywhere more than 20 minutes from my apartment #:( :( :(#im just so bored and tired on such a deep and painful level and i want to be well enough to feel like a real person again

#like idk. i guess if my roommates room was as bad id be like ah just a shitty apartment i guess #but hers literally has new carpet a new fan its all in good condition #mine has old nasty peeling carpet with staples you can feel and a broken closet mirror the doors are off the rails the bathroom is missing #a towel bar the cabinet is nearly falling apart like. how can they be so different #my problem is i had to do an early move in so i had to sign an as is contract. but hopefully i can get past that. :(

My bestie is moving out for college this week and I don't know how to cope with that. I don't know how can I handle being alone again

#shes everything to me #the love of my life my soulmate #and i want whats best for her i cheered her on to get to that college and find a room and move out from her shitty parents #but yknow. it hurts to be left behind #shes not going that far. i think its about five hours from here?#but thats still more than living five minutes apart #i will still visit her but we won't do errands around town together #or even just see each other on the street when neither of us have the time or energy to hang out but we say hi #or go on long walks and do nothing together #what im saying is. i already miss her and theres still a few days left #tomorrow were having a picnic if the weather allows #but man i am so bad at any kind of goodbyes #i am so afraid that she will find friends shell like more than me and wont want to hang out with me anymore #i dont want to lose her. i cant lose her #i dont have anyone else #i do have a few friends but none of them are so close to me #both emotionally and physically i have literally no one in this town #i already feel alone #i have only her and now shes leaving #god i feel like a child again when my dad moved out to germany #christ #bee buzz

...seven and a half minutes later, the answer is $75k... so when you include land and all the rest of it, so basically nothing right?

This is my problem with tiny homes stuff, it's for rich people

#and as much as I'm pro home ownership since like... my house is pretty much what's made my life feasible #like I know two things for a fact; we don't have room to give every last person a house #(especially if they're basically one bedroom sized things dotting the land)#and not everyone even wants to own a home #but like... lets say that everyone did want to own a place... we can't even do single family stuff let alone infinite tiny homes #so you'd need to have at least some homes in the form of basically owned units in an apartment complex which... sounds like condos #and so... I legit don't even come close to having the answer for this #but the sad thing is... a commie block kind of beats a tiny home if we're honest I think #not even in some like... brutalist dystopian shoving people together kind of way #like I think I'd rather live in a well maintained commie block style apartment than in one of infinite tiny homes doting the land #I really really really like tiny homes as a concept... but every time you look at them you realize... it's all for rich people #and half of them are just gentrified trailers or closet sized apartments getting dressed up by an architect to up the price #like I'm not even trying to shit on this company cause like I'm for assembly line style home production #especially compared to the cheap shit we throw up now; it makes me with I could puke in anger and disgust at it #they showed clips to contrast with of a home being tossed up and the shit materials they use disgust me #seeing massive... whatever you call those new home blights... communities I guess; springing up they always look like they're made of trash #so yeah... I like this building style better than shitty single family homes 'from the low 300s'#but I think that these people are either doing a sales pitch; missing the big picture; or both when they talk about this #like this can't fix the housing crisis cause... one no one can afford shit even if it's... lets say $175k; that's a lot to ask most people #but two is it won't work long term to just dot a million little houses across the land #cause quite apart from finding all that land; think of all the electric grid and water infrastructure you have to lay #(or are these people expected to be able to afford solar and all that? cause... they ain't poor if they're doing that)#(and I'd kind of like poor people to not be screwed by the housing problems we have; the rich can get bent honestly)#I like living on my own in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere; I wouldn't want someone right next to me #so I'm literally the kind of person people bitching about rural folks is bitching about; so know that's not what I'm saying #but let's be honest... we need better and cheaper urban infrastructure and we need less suburbs and housing communities #and that's where the solution is gonna lie; not in reinventing the single family home (or smaller)#eh... I really really really like tiny homes and think they're neat... but I can't help but see they're rich people play things #...and that's my thoughts on this #it's kind of like how solar is nice and all... but just a few good nuclear plants would be a better solution than solar on every roof
