Jyuto stared at you, a smirk gracing his lips, while you were sitting far away from the tall man, pencil touching the paper here and there, doing fine lines on them. Were you perhaps sketching something?

His gloved hands moved up, cigarette touching his lips and watching you like a hawk. He knew what you were doing. You were glancing at him with your beautiful (e/c) orbs, trying to hide your gaze from him, but you couldn’t win this little battle.

He could read you like an open book. Always knows what was on your mind. Green eyes lingering on your form, while his lips curl up.

You were too interesting to him or maybe… He just loved to tease you? Play with you like a cat would play with it’s prey toy.

“So, little kitten…” He finally stood up from his chair, putting his cigarette away, before he slowly walked towards you. Standing tall like a lion, gaze never leaving yours, while you closed your notebook, cheeks warming up by the man. “What are you drawing?”

You gulped nervously. How had he known about my drawings? You were perhaps thinking now, he thought. He will not know that I’ve been drawing him!

His smirk grows, fingertips touching your chin, as he held you there, lowering his body to meet your gaze. “Is it… me?”

Your eyes widen by his words, not realizing that his other hand had fetched your notebook out of your hands and walked away. “I-I-I wasn't drawing you! Don't stare at it!” You tried to reach out and grab your notebook, but he was too tall.

“Let’s see… Impressive. Who would have known that you were a skilled artist?” He glanced over his shoulder, while you tried to punch at him so he will give you back the book. “Looks good… Mhh? Are you blushing?” No matter what you did, he couldn’t stop his grin. “I-I’m not! Now give it back” He laughed at your little tantrum, handing you your notebook back. “Next time, you might draw another picture of me… Maybe one in which we are kissing.” He chuckled as you punched his arm flustered.

Hello can I request headcannons for samatoki with a brother who is really shy and Avoids conflict and is basically samatoki’s complete opposite. Who is also does animation and study’s art or anything that doesn’t require a lot of social interaction. I thought this was nice idea lol

☆ Author’s notes: Hey, that's a very sweet idea! I decided to leave his brother's name up to the reader's imagination. Hope you enjoy!

• Samatoki was still very little when his middle brother was born. Let’s call him M. As they grew up, he and his siblings went through the difficult reality of their conflicted and unstable family.

• While Samatoki would later in life try to be aggressive in order to protect himself and his loved ones, M was the complete opposite.

• He absolutely hated fights. He would rather not say anything to avoid any misunderstanding. Alone time was ideal. One could tell M was trying his best to lead a different life, one that did not resemble his past.

• The fact Samatoki was a yakuza and Nemu got involved in The Party of Words didn’t help. His siblings were in opposing sides, so M never said his own thoughts to escape from conflict.

• Art was his peaceful, safe space. He was very sensitive and shy since he was a boy, and would rely on artistic expression to voice his emotions. M had large notebooks filled with drawings and vivid, colorful paintings since his childhood.

• Samatoki was unsurprised when his middle brother said he wanted to study animation. M probably wanted to work by himself, unbothered by others. This job would allow him to do so, Samatoki thought.

• He was partly relieved that, unlike himself, M did not succumb to illegal activities to sustain and protect his family.

• Therefore, Samatoki was supportive of M following an art career. He was always impressed at how talented his middle brother was, and made sure to compliment his works whenever he saw them.

• However, their relationship wasn’t always peaceful. Their polarized personalities brought tension between them occasionally.

• M hated when Samatoki tried sneaking in his room to see his artwork. His brother wouldn’t let him work alone sometimes, and that bothered him terribly.

• Worse than that were the problems Samatoki got into all the time. Seeing his brother arrested again really got in his nerves, M couldn’t understand how his brother was capable of being so troublesome!

• M also did not like the fact that Jyuto, instead of making Samatoki pay for his bad behavior in jail, would always set him free. Yes, Samatoki had his reasons for acting as he did, but it wasn’t fair to see him getting away with it so easily! Samatoki would never learn how to be more careful this way, M thought.

• Samatoki was just a rebel and careless yakuza, and Jyuto was complacent to his wrongdoings. That’s how M saw them.

• M sympathized with Rio, though. Both of them, unlike his brother Samatoki, had values they cared about.

• Samatoki would also get annoyed with his brother here and there. M was very quiet. It was hard to make him speak, and this led Samatoki to yell at him when he didn’t answer, making M shut up completely.

• Samatoki also disliked the fact that M seemed to judge his reckless behavior. They argued about it often, and M would just give up on it, saying it couldn’t be helped. Samatoki felt frustrated that M wouldn’t even try to win an argument!

• Jyuto and Rio thought they were quite comical given they were so different yet lived together. A few moments after an argument, Samatoki would hug his brother and M would hug him back, both laughing at how stupid the situation was.

• This sweetness they had for each other is what kept them together. In one of his animation projects, M dedicated his work to his beloved older brother, Samatoki.

• Needless to say, Samatoki was moved by it. He bought a new graphics tablet for M two days later.

• M was the only family member who stayed by his brother’s side even with all his flaws. And for that, Samatoki was forever grateful.

Buster Bros

Yamada Ichiro:

Ichiro felt something coming but he didn’t want to get his hopes up, wondering if the romance light novels he read were just too deeply embedded in his head. When you do confess he manages to keep the surprised look off his face as he returns you feelings, quite pleased that his romantic instinct remained on point.

Yamada Jiro:

Jiro is completely blind-sided. He was stuck in his own little world thinking of how he might confess but he was quite ready to do so, he still felt like your relationship was on shaky ground. He considered you a friend that he didn’t want to live without, plus it would be embarrassing to be rejected, so he’s stunned into total silence when you actually confess to him.

Yamada Saburo:

Saburo had absolutely no idea you had those types of feelings for him. He simply thought this was a friendship, and since he didn’t have much experience with crushes and the like... He didn’t really know how to react at first. You’re met with a total brick wall, no emotion as he tells you he needs time to think, confiding in his brothers before he finally makes the right move.

Aohitsugi Samatoki:

He had an inkling of your feelings but he had been in deep denial that they existed because it would mean having to confront his own feelings for you. Part of him almost wishes he could deny his draw to you but he’d never been one to not go all in, and this applied to you, dedicating himself to your happiness once your feelings are exchanged.

Iruma Jyuto:

Jyuto felt stupid for never realizing, especially when he looks back on how you acted around him, knowing he probably could’ve figured it out before your confession if he had paid closer attention. He’s flattered by it but he needs time to think on it, knowing how big a commitment it would be and not wanting to waste your time if he wasn’t in a good enough place to offer said commitment to you.

Rio Mason Busujima:

Rio didn’t quite understand the extent of your feelings but he had known they were mutual; he was quite fond of you and he found your company to be more enjoyable than most. He was content with allowing things to unfold between you naturally meaning your confession was a pleasant surprise, confirming that he felt the same (and that he admired your bravery for confessing first).

Fling Posse

Amemura Ramuda:

Ramuda would act like he saw your confession coming from a mile away, he was very well loved so why would you be any different? But behind this unnecessarily haughty response is a man who very much wants to be truly loved by someone. It’s almost embarrassing to receive a confession so full of genuine feelings that he initially reacted with his fake, peppy persona. When he looked frustrated is when you realized the truth of your feelings was sinking in for him, Ramuda having never suspected that he’d be on the receiving end of this.

Yumeno Gentaro:

Gentaro would have to be purposely ignorant to say he didn’t notice a few signs that suggested you were harboring feelings for him, but he liked to blame things he noticed like that on his imagination. He’s not at all surprised about your confession but to say he doesn’t appreciate you coming to him first would be a lie; he’s quite pleased to hear your words, it makes the feelings seem a little more solid. He beats around the bush at returning these feelings but they are there, just buried deep beneath a pile of denial and fear.

Arisugawa Dice:

Dice is completely blind-sided. He was busy being so hopelessly in love with you that he didn’t notice those feelings were returned at all. You think he must be some type of fool to not realize as it was hard to hide your care for him but Dice admitted it was because he didn’t care if you returned his feelings, because he’d still love you either way. Not to say he isn’t thrilled to hear that you love him too but his love for you was unconditional and it would remain that way no matter what happened.

Matenro

Jinguji Jakurai:

Jakurai was well-aware of your feelings, so painfully aware that it hurt to have to continuously deny them to himself as he felt unworthy of receiving them. The happiness it would bring him to have you by his side would be immeasurable but does he truly deserve it after all he had done? Would he truly make a good partner for you? It’s easier to ignore his feelings than act on them but when you confront him with your own, he gives in instantly.

Izanami Hifumi:

Hifumi was adept at detecting real love from infatuation, at knowing when someone actually felt a certain way about him or if they were blinded by his beauty. It still made him nervous because having a genuine love was a heavy burden to have but he welcomed the challenge if it was you who loved him. He knew that your heart was good and that your confession was delivered directly from it, hoping he can do it justice when he returned your feelings.

Kannonzaka Doppo:

Doppo is in complete shock that you accepted his confession let alone confessed right back to him. He doesn’t know what to do with his swimming thoughts or sweaty hands, wringing his tie between his hands as he waits for you to take it back and say it was all just a prank. When you instead take his nervous hands in your own, managing to calm him with just a touch, he feels his heart suddenly overwhelmed and he could practically cry at how lucky he felt.

Bad Ass Temple

Harai Kuko:

Kuko had made his feelings for you apparent from the very start, his crush on you quite open as he unabashedly flirted with you when he had the chance. Whether you felt the same or not hadn’t mattered because Kuko would care deeply for you either way meaning he didn’t look too deeply into how you acted around him, taking each day as it came until he felt he could truly be a good partner for you.

Aimono Jyushi:

Jyushi is completely caught off-guard, his own feelings having completely blinded him to yours; he had assumed all the returned affection was him simply seeing what he wanted to. He had planned on confessing to you himself, thinking about it over and over, stopping you mid-confession so he could go first (that’s how it had been rehearsed after all).

Amaguni Hitoya:

Hitoya knew. He would have to know, it was his job to carefully observe, to pick up on the tiny little details, but it didn’t mean he realized just how far those feelings went. He didn’t think he was worthy of them, thinking he would be a disappointment of a boyfriend but having to admit to himself that he’d regret it if he didn’t at least try to give himself a chance at happiness with you.

Dotsuitare Hompo

Nurude Sasara:

Sasara is in an odd in-between world where he’s both aware of your feelings and in complete denial that they actually exist. He thinks you might be trying to strike up a comedy bit with him when you confess, taking on the role of the dramatic dame who felt the romance was too tragic to ever work out. Fortunately for him, you were not attempting to recruit him for some comedy duo and that your confession was genuine, Sasara scrambling to gather the rest of his pride before you left him in the dust for the stupid joke he tried to make out of your confession.

Tsutsujimori Rosho:

Rosho can’t fathom where your feelings for him came from. Being surrounded by interesting personalities like Sasara and Rei left him feeling uninteresting, not that he held any bitterness towards them about it as he was who he was. But to hear that you wanted him, to hear that you were so fond of him you were willing to put yourself out there for potential heartbreak just to get your feelings across to him. He had no idea this was coming and is thus unprepared to respond, losing his composure entirely as he fumbled to find the words to show he returned your feelings tenfold.

Amayado Rei:

Rei is well-aware of your feelings, so strikingly aware that it almost feels like he’s purposely stringing you along by indulging you in him. He’s always had this way of making you feel special and while you’re sure he’s working this magic on other women, you do your best to accept your place in his life. You are, at least, in some way very important to Rei and he tells you that while he hears your feelings, there’s a few more things he must do before he can accept them. He hoped that you were ready to rule at the top beside him, promising your patience would be rewarded in some way.

Ichiro Yamada

when Ichiro first found out you were a member of the yakuza he was surprised and also frustrated

the two of you definitely go into an argument where he wanted you to leave the life of crime, but you refused

he was worried that your morals and values wouldn’t be aligned and that he had misread you somehow

it lead to a lot of hard conversations that neither of you were really ready for, but that you both went through together

and after a lot of discussions and compromise, the two of you were able to come out of it stronger than ever

the hard line that he draws is bringing your work home - he would never forgive you if you brought danger to Jiro and Saburo

and you make a promise to him that no matter what, you would never tell anyone in your gang about your relationship with him for fear of putting him in any danger

he knows what life was like for Samatoki and since the two used to be close, he already knows all of the crazy things that happen to yakuza members

so this just makes him even more anxious and worried about all of the dangerous things that you have to go through

it definitely sends him into ‘protective boyfriend’ mode and whenever you come back after a long day, he’s peppering you with questions and wanting to make sure you’re okay

just reassure him that you can take care of yourself, and he’ll calm down - he knows your strong, he just needs a little extra TLC

whenever he has a request for one of his odd jobs that has to do with something on the shady part of town, you’re the first one he calls

you’re always willing to help him out and you know that if you need help tracking someone down, Ichiro’s always willing to help

one time you brought up Samatoki from a rival yakuza gang and Ichiro told you to never mention his name again

that was when you first learned of their complicated history and after that, the two of you often crack jokes at Samatoki’s expense

in fact - that was the only time Ichiro has ever offered to lend a helping hand in fighting with your gang

if you have yakuza tattoos, Ichiro loves to trace those whenever the two of you are laying together, he finds it really soothing

whenever you come home from being around intense, sometimes maniacal people, it’s really nice to see Ichiro’s warm grinning face

and you’re immediately falling into his arms and asking him about his day while the two of you snuggle together

Samatoki Aohitsugi

Two words - power couple

the two of you are the most notorious couple in the underground yakuza gang rings

everyone knows about the two of you and either admires you, hates you, or fears you

Samatoki also sees you as royalty and treats you as such - always putting you first along with your wants and needs

since you’re in his same yakuza group, that would make things infinitely easier and you would always be with him for all of the meetings

the first time he met you, you were just another newbie that wanted to become a member

but over time he became more and more impressed with your skills and abilities, and once it was clear that you both had feelings for each other, you decided to start dating

you are his top priority and anything that threatens you or your well-being is immediately labelled as a threat and eliminated

you would think that being in the yakuza would make him see you as stronger but actually it only makes him more over-protective

since Samatoki is the leader of the yakuza group, he knows how dangerous the work can be

so sometimes he won’t want you to go out and do the more risky tasks, sending other people out instead

you’ll have to reassure him that you can take care of yourself and that you’re perfectly capable of handing dangerous tasks

with that being said, if there’s ever a fight with another group, he wants you by his side at all times so that he knows where you are

it’s relieving to him that you’re not just simply a civilian and that you can take care of yourself in a pinch

Samatoki always takes time to admire how intelligent and capable you can be as a yakuza member

and he’s convinced that even if you weren’t dating him, he would still want to promote you for your skills

and you definitely act as his second-in-command, relaying any information back to him about the thoughts and morale of the other members

and he also thinks it’s nice that he doesn’t have to explain himself or his motives as a yakuza leader since you’re already a member

there are definitely times when you have arguments over what’s the right course of action for the yakuza group

but at the end of the day, you love each other too much to let any of that get in the way of your relationship

Juto Iruma

when you first started dating Juto, it was because the both of you were using each other

you knew he was a dirty cop and you wanted to have an ‘in’ with one of the members of the police so you could prove yourself in your yakuza group

Juto knew you were a member of the yakuza and wanted to be able to have a contact in case he ever needed one

things escalated faster than expected, though, and the two of you ended up truly falling for each other

it was rough at the beginning to differentiate between what was real and what was just a façade

but eventually the both of you decided that the relationship would only work if you were honest with each other - something that was very difficult for both of you

it proved to be helpful and brought the two of you closer, making your relationship even tighter

you absolutely love having a dirty cop for a boyfriend - not only does it help you on yakuza missions, but it gives you more street cred

whenever you’re in a pinch, you always call Juto and ask him to stall the cops until you can get out

Juto loves how impressive your skills are, and loves the thrill of having an s/o in the yakuza

whenever he needs to get information on any of his cases, you’re the first person he reaches out to and you almost always give him the information he needs

this helps him shine in the police department, although he would never give you up as a confidential informant

it’s as though your two worlds collided with each other and you somehow managed to make it work

you always let him know when something dangerous is going to go down, which in turn makes him worry about your safety

he knows that being in the yakuza is obviously dangerous, but there are certain unnecessary risks that he makes you promise never to take

Juto’s always teasing you whenever you come home early in the morning after a long night while he’s getting ready to go to work and says that he’s off to clean up the messes you just made the night before

“Guess I should go fix what you just broke, right babe?”

“Yea, yea, whatever, just come home early, okay? I want to have a snuggle session with you before I have to go collect that ransom money tonight.”

Rosho was finishing his bachelor's degree when you got signed to a label and went on to become of the biggest idols around

not only is Rosho an amazing boyfriend and support

he may even help manage some financial matters that your agent doesn't handle

Rosho is first to hear your songs when you come up with them

you always confide in him for new song ideas

mostly because you cant stop humming around him

"I can't help it Rosho, you're my muse"

he blushes brightly not knowing how to accept the compliment

one of his students asked why he had a charm of you on his desk

he said he was a really big fan

"What? You Mr. Tsutsujimori? *then proceeded to quiz him the rest of the class

which was still a pretty big feat for him considering

he doesn't know how you deal with being surrounded by crowds all the time plus perform in front of them...

you inspire him to work on his stage fright and public speaking

even if its just little things

he is in awe of you and loves the fact that you worked so hard to get to the place you were today

he finds your idol persona just an extension of yourself

he knew that you weren't just a cute bubbly idol

Rosho is so touched when you sit him down and show a song you wrote for him

He tails behind you to the stadium and the guards wave you both through

"I'm not a bodyguard y'know."

"I know, but you can be my police escort!"

your agent yells at you for being late and you scurry around backstage when you trip over a loose cord!

luckily he catches you in his arms

"Ooh, sorry sir. I've always been a bit of a clutz..."

he tries his best to bite back a flirty come back to keep it professional

but says it anyway

"Fallen for the officer already have you?"

you were drawn to his dry wit and charming personality

Halfway through the concert, you come backstage to see him getting ready to leave

"Hey I'm still on duty so I can't stay, but you're really talented and I enjoyed the show so far."

he hands you his contact card

"I suppose we could have a coffee sometime, after all, if you weren't there to catch me I would've sprained my ankle and the show would've been cancelled."

You're both pretty busy but find some time during the day to sneak away for a coffee date

one turns into two, then five

sooner than you know it the officer has won you over and you fall head over heels for each other *literally*

when you show Jyuto a song that you wrote for him he's going to be amazed

"Wow, I'm so thrilled that you feel this way, now come here so I can show you my thanks

If gossip comes out about you Jyuto will scout out the lowlife who write the article and bribe them to stop

Dunno why this came to mind...maybe calculating Jakurai’s deal here...Who knows but here I am imagining how much schooling these boys have gone through.

As a note, I am not saying their schooling level as any jab to them. All people are different. Some would prefer going to school, some do not have the opportunity and some have other things to do. It really is many reasons why they would or wouldn’t go on. And I’m just guessing what I think they’ve done based off information we have of them.

Buster Bros!!!

Ichiro I feel only completed compulsory school and some of high school. He was too busy supporting the orphanage and his brothers to really keep up with it. And considering Yorozuya Yamada is likely their only source of income, he hasn’t really gone back either. I don’t that particularly bothers Ichiro since while he wasn’t bad at school he wouldn’t say he liked it either.

Jiro is at the age where he didn’t have to go to school anymore but Ichiro made him stay. As it was just better options for Jiro if he does finish school. He also doesn’t go to cram school as 1) he can’t stand school as is, 2) he likely goes to help Ichiro with the business and 3) there’s a chance they can’t afford to send him. Despite the latest drama tracks, I don’t see school being a point of contention between them even if Jiro doesn’t like school. I don’t see him pursuing a traditional higher education, if he even goes at all.

Saburo is still in compulsory school as far as I understand so it’s not really a question of if he goes. But obviously Ichiro would want him to stay. Especially him because he’s good at it and seems to like it. That and it might help Saburo’s social skills to have to be around kids his age. For the most of the same reasons, Saburo doesn’t do cram school either. If anything he probably could tutor if he didn’t get so easily frustrated with people. I do feel he could make it to the top schools when he gets older but I see an interest in going overseas for uni.

Mad Trigger Crew

Samatoki I don’t think went past compulsory schooling. He was too busy with yakuza stuff to really deal with school. I see him getting into a lot of fights over his background, namely badmouthing of his parents. He probably had Nemu stay though because he wanted her to have options. I think he’s really good with money even though he probably hasn’t had to worry about it for a long time

Jyuto I initially was gonna say did go to college but researching a little bit, he probably didn’t. He only would need to finish high school and pass exams. Which I feel he was prepared for. Like I think he’s been set on being a cop for a long time and worked for that. Which is why I’ll also go out on a limb and say that in high school this boy was a runner so he was also in shape for his training when he passed exams. I also think Jyuto was a good boy student.

Rio likely went into military service as soon as he could, which I believe is 18 over there. It’s a little harder to tell about how the service was since the world of hypmic is one that had another war, so it’s likely his time was busier than what it would be normally for someone in the navy. He absolutely could’ve gone to uni and come back to get a better rank but I don’t think Rio really cared about that aspect of it. (This man knows communications and some hacking, you cannot tell me he couldn’t have gone far) I will say he likely took advantage of his half-American status and is fluent in English as it would’ve been useful for joint exercises with the states. I think the dissolution of the navy really shot him in the foot but he’s just too resourceful to keep down with that.

Fling Posse

Ramuda...obviously didn’t. And I don’t think his records would show anything. Like if it had to show anything, it would probably show him going to a super large school where it’s completely possible no one knows who the hell he was (because he was never there). And if he was based off someone, he likely had some of his credentials taken from them. He understand the culture of schooling though, I mean his style and personality does seem to draw girls high school age and older.

Gentaro is pretty hard to imagine to be honest. I don’t see him enjoying his school life and being around classmates for an extended amount of time. And while I think he could’ve spent some time in academia in literary research, I also see him finding it way too stuffy for writing. But I think ultimately...he went to uni for a short time. For some reason I just don’t see him vibing with how the system is for it.

Dice did not. I don’t think he finished high school although he could’ve if he wanted. But he probably avoids it because it’d be an easier way to keep track of him and run contrary to his stray sort of life style.

Matenrou

Jakurai...is a doctor...I sure HOPE he went to school for his profession. So he studied some of the stuff you need for doctoring during his time as an assassin but he didn’t actually go into studying to be a doctor until he quit his killing at 23. He probably went into the national defense medical college, which seems to be 6 year program but you have an extra 2-3 years of compulsory service with it. I think he likely finished his compulsory service, at the latest, a year before the Dirty Dawg timeline. Or OR he faked his schooling and just knew the equivalent knowledge from his time as an assassin and was able to pass his exams and later studied whatever he lacked. He’s basically fully legally certified NOW, don’t worry...

Hifumi I just can’t see going past high school. Like I’ve always seen the incident happening in his last year of high school and it made it difficult for him to even finish. And considering he claimed in the first Matenrou drama track that he didn’t find a way to live with his phobia until he was 20...I don’t think he went. Not that he would’ve been interested in it. Hifumi is interested in what he likes and wouldn’t want to put the effort either way. I don’t think he really cares and he has more than enough skills (and money) to do just about whatever he wants.

Doppo likely went to uni. He couldn’t get into the real prestigious schools and knew he couldn’t so just went for wherever he could get into rather than wait to test again. I feel like his degree is in either accounting or business. I think he had a part-time while in school to pay for it since it seems like his family might not be as well off or he didn’t want to burden his parents (in a passing conversation I think he mentioned paying for his brother’s exams or schooling). For some reason I also can see him having a minor in biology because I see him either knowing a lot about plants or knowing a lot about marine life. What kind of person just thinking of a water flea for like a small creature?

Dotsuitare Hompo

Sasara I feel like he didn’t go past high school. Not that he couldn’t. Just that he didn’t find a need to? Not when he was set on going into comedy. Like it was either make it or be trapped with his family. And he was hard noooope.

Rosho....is a teacher? I sure HOPE he went for his teaching certificate. I don’t think he was going to initially and might not have while he was doing the comedy game with Sasara? Their time line is a little fuzzy, I haven’t found the indicator of if Rosho and Sasara disbanded before he went to MCD or after. If it was before, then yes he went to school after they disbanded. If not, then he was in school while doing the manzai thing. So yeah dual major of mathematics (or statistics) and education (he didn’t need both but I have faith in him).

Rei most definitely went to fucking uni. This bastard would let you think he didn’t but he did. He’s probably a fucking doctor or just shy of it. Drives me mad. Why am I sure? Because if Rei is behind the hypnosis mics. As in the designer and/or inventor of it, he is a scientist or engineer of some type. I see him having a degree in either biotechnology or neuroscience. I learn towards the latter because I feel like he also got a minor in psychology (or y’know what, business is possible too for a minor). Just to mess with people.

Bad Ass Temple

Kuko I feel was the same as Ichiro in that he went to high school but not necessarily finishing it. I don’t believe he would’ve had to...if anything he’s gone back to his teachings at his temple. Yet it seems he doesn’t do that either so I’m not sure. I just don’t think he did anything past high school.

Jyushi I think he might’ve just finished high school? I don’t know if he was just finishing or he’s soon to be doing exams. But I think he’s going to finish regardless. Y’know I feel like Jyushi would’ve liked going to uni. I can’t think of what he’d go to school for though! Would it be adding too much work to a passion if he did something with music theory?

Hitoya...is a lawyer? So yeah? And you have to wonder if Hitoya is a masochist or loves to learn or what have you. Because he was in medical school WITH Jakurai. And then when they part ways, he quits and then goes into LAW. Are you kidding me? Hitoya, Hitoya please...I looked it up, he HAS to be a masochist! Law in Japan is super hard to get into! It has one of the most difficult bar exams to exist! What are you doing, man??? Although...I think Hitoya is still fairly new as a lawyer though because him starting when I assume Jakurai started school at 23, would have him only being fully practicing for 5 years. And that’s assuming he dropped out the first year and not later...which would only shrink he years outside. Unless whatever he got for his bachelors was applicable for law too (behavioral science?)...either way, yes he’s done it and he sure does do a lot to beat a guy that doesn’t even know they’re competing.

3gumi headcanons part 2

starting off the blog with our favourite group! just some separate hcs about the boys. find part 1 with saburo, dice and hitoya HERE.

RIO

He’s great with children! Rio’s patience is near unbreakable so he’s totally fine with kids climbing all over him. He knows how to tone down stories, but he’s told kids about ‘a knight on his quest’ as his self inserts because he’s not the most creative. He’s pretty happy that Jyuto told him that he has a good voice for telling bedtime stories.

Rio’s pretty well read. With a lot of time at camp and trying to keep his trail on the down low, he reads a lot of theoretical books. Stuff about philosophies of life are interesting to him. [ If you haven’t listened to Private Time, Rio gets pretty deep while looking up at the stars. ]

His love language is through his cooking. It’s how his major taught him to enjoy life, so that’s how he shows appreciation to those he cares about. Rio is aware that Samatoki and Jyuto are a little scared of his food, but he truly appreciates them trying it out. He’ll stop with the spiders when they’re actually brave enough to tell him... or they’ll just forget about what they eat one day.

DOPPO

He doesn’t have hobbies. Doppo knows that he’s a boring person and doesn’t talk much during conversation about himself. He’s not exactly sure when’s the last time he had fun asides from the apps on his phone that he only downloads for a week so he doesn’t get too invested.

“The last time I did physical exercise was uh....” He always draws a blank whenever Hifumi asks him this. Still, Doppo just doesn’t gain weight easily, which annoys Hifumi even more. The most exercise he’s actually done is lifting heavy boxes in the office but that’s all.

Doppo legitimately despises going to office karaoke night. Of course, everyone wants him to show off since he’s in the DRB, but it’s not like he can sing much since he’s always listening to instrumentals. You’re gonna have to get him very drunk if you want him up there. For some reason, the women at the office love him screaming more than the guys who actually sing well.

REI

A man well known at his favorite bars. Rei isn’t that much of a fancy drinker, but he’s there for a good chat. People say he’s a ‘good listener’ since he doesn’t talk too much about himself, but that’s just how things are for him. His advice to those with problems is usually ‘do what’ll help you first before others’.

Along that line, in his younger days, he’d hang about the streets of his favourite spots to make sure people would make it home alright. It’s not his business to get into fights, but he sure as hell ain’t letting them start on his watch. It just so happens that the ladies loved having a big strong man take ‘em home.

“I’m not an animal person”, Rei says, despite having an old queen of a cat. Shiori ( 栞 ) was a kitten when he found her, and would always like to rest on his arm while he was reading, hence she’s his ‘little bookmark’. He always tells people that she doesn’t like them despite her being really affectionate so they think she loves them.

I’m hanging in there, thanks for asking! I hope you’re doing well. Thank you for a headcanon ask. I have so many more matchups...it’s good do change things up!

Ichiro, Samatoki, and Riou x Very Shy S/O

Ichiro

This man. His heart can’t take it. They’re just so...*faints with heart eyes*

I don’t feel like he’s that type that is initially attracted to someone shy. It would take him a while to notice them, but when he does...well, he falls hard.

He find everything about them adorable. The way they struggle to look people in the eyes, the blush they get when they get small compliments, the way they stutter a little when they have to talk...they melt his heart!

He would especially love that they are truly kind and sweet deep down. He cares much more about what a person is like on the inside.

He is also always on guard, trying to make sure that the company he keeps is going to be a good influence on his brothers. Their innocence, combined with their overall sweetness, really seals the deal.

He’d be a bit worried about their clumsy and careless nature, but wouldn’t worry too much about it as long as they are able to laugh it off.

It’s be a bit like dealing with Jiro, honestly. The difference is that Jiro can be careless for the fun of it whereas his s/o would be careless accidentally.

He’d know to stay close, always staying vigilant for them. He’d secretly want to catch them last-second after they trip over something, anime style!

When he does get the chance, it end up with both of them on the ground, but who cares? It’s hilarious!

If they do end up getting hurt, he’s the first one by their side. His first priority is first aid, of course. He’ll carry them like a prince/princess and patch up all their injuries. If it’s something more serious he will immediately call Jakurai for advice. Nothing but the best care for his love!

He loves the way they blush as he cares for them, and how they’re too nervous/upset to look at him but still mumble a “thank you for helping me”.

They should also expect all the cuddles and love after an injury! Ichiro is a super comforting guy (mostly from taking care of his brothers), so even if his s/o is shy they are guaranteed to melt in his arms!

Samatoki

Massive power trip here, in a good way. He LOVES this person SO much, but he gets more of a kick out of embarrassing them.

With his short temper, most people wouldn’t expect him to work well with a shy s/o. It’s exactly the opposite, though! He and a shy s/o could be a perfect match.

Samatoki loves that they don’t go out of their way to draw attention to themself. They’re cute, but it’s subtle. He appreciates that a lot and would take notice right away.

Now, he has to be very hesitant around people because of his line of work. Everyone is a potential threat. It would take a while for him to be certain that they are a sweet, kind, person.

And when he does finally accept that, he falls HARD.

#1 best person must protect with my life

NOTHING is allowed to hurt them. He’s even worse than Ichiro when it comes to being watchful over them. They go nowhere without him, and they have to be glued to his side.

This is all to protect them from others, but also themself. If they aren’t within arms reach then he can’t stop them from falling over/running into things.

Expect so much complaining if they do get hurt. He’ll patch them up while giving the biggest lecture (he’s a big brother, too).

Like I said before, he loves embarrassing them. He’ll say almost anything to make them blush. He also loves PDA with this s/o for that reason. Seeing them turn red as a tomato when he grabs their hand gives him such a power trip.

Samatoki can tell how innocent they are right away, and he is careful not do do too much to corrupt them. (At least, he’ll do it slowly.) He loves that about them and wants to keep that innocence for as long as possible.

That also means he ends up angry at Jyuto a lot...dirty cop just can’t control himself around that s/o, especially since Samatoki freaks out and covers their ears every time. It’s hilarious!

Riou

Omg Riou with this s/o? Yes! So sweet and cute, must protect!

I have no idea how he’d two would meet, but from about 2 seconds after they do Riou will never let them go (not in a creepy way).

It’s just so rare to find people so kind and sweet. Especially out in the middle of the forest...

He’s pretty quiet himself, so their shyness doesn’t bother him. As long as they can be together he wouldn’t mind a comfortable silence.

Riou would also enjoy the way blush and get generally shy over some of the things he does. For example, when he makes them food.

And they have never complained about his cooking once! (Poor sweet soul.)

He would love an innocent s/o as well. It would bring out his protective instincts, particularly around his division members.

He knows that hey just like seeing her reactions. To be honest, he does, too. Especially when his s/o gets flustered and hides their face in his chest.

Riou would never let them take it too far, though. And they know not to test his limits.

When it comes to their clumsiness, well...he would try to fix that. At first.

Sure, training up his s/o sounds like a great idea! Making them a little more self-reliant in that are would be great.

But it just ends up with them getting constantly hurt during training. He learns pretty quick that it’s no use. Riou gets used to patching them up and frequently saving hem from himself.

Plus, it lets him play the hero, so he kind of likes it deep down.

As I’m setting everything up, I’m rn buzzing w/ excitement bc wow I’m really excited to see what happens. Since we had a dual MTC and FP episode last time which ended with the announcement, I assume that we’ll have BB vs MTC or MTR vs FP. I hope that the anime can live up to the hype

Oh nice, they kept the same exterior of Chuuoku as the Manga and the games!

EYYYY THEY TOOK A MANGA SCENE AND ANIMATED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK YEAH! Shame they didn’t animate the part with Saburo and Jiro attempting to pull Ramuda away from Ichiro. That panel is hilarious [The Panel in Question]

A yes, Ramuda calling Jakurai “Jakurai no jiji” before turning around to be so bright and cheerful is just, hilarious I love it. They cut out the “shame, the old coot’s ears still works” part. The anime’s cutting out all the funny one liners aren’t they

The tension between the divisions were also really nicely crafted. I love how Jakurai had the change in tone when talking to Ichiro and Ramuda

localizing Hifumin to Hifumming is kinda interesting but also super cute. I also love how they really pushed for the fact that Hifumi is high energy and a bit hard to handle by making Ichiro sutter in surprise.

Ah oh no they cut out the part about Jiro calling Doppo a boomer lmao granted thats a translation liberty taken by Slugtranslationshypmic but its so funny!!

HERE COMES MTCCCCCCC!!!!

aw man, they cut out the fact that Rio and DIce know each other and how Jyuto and Doppo know each other too. Samatoki also doesn’t struggle much which is a bit of a disappointment but then again budget restricts so

I love it when Ramuda sticks out his tongue its so cute

They cut out a lot of great interarctions within the manga ugh. such a shame. There’s genuine bonds between the members of TDD who don’t have a grudge against each other and its such a shame that the Anime didn’t showcase this. Hopefully that will be explored later on but theres one panel in the manga that just shows the four of them existing peacefully with one another and that just. slaps so hard. can’t believe it was cut out

Im super disappointed that they cut out a lot of funny and witty one-liners from the manga. Those were the best part of the whole thing

Love how the mics they’re holding have reverted to normal. No Hypnosis speaker subplot though.... wonder if they’ll change that later

I think its interesting how the shots of the teams are telling of power dynamics and character. The leader is always in the center but BB are more evenly spread as if they’re equals, all facing forward to a same goal. MTC have their backs to each other, trusting each other to not only do their job but also protect each other. FP looks very fanservicy and that really plays well with the party vibes they have going on. Jakurai is the only leader whos not facing the viewer head on but from the side as is Hifumi and Doppo which implies that they’re either really dramatic or have a sense of mystery

Me slightly freaking out about the animation of TDD era Samatoki. but also he looks kinda off which ugh. poor dude, got hit by the bad animation bc apparently the staff there can’t draw slicked back hair Samatoki nicely

Actually the bad animation is kinda rampant here. Saburo’s been hit by the bad animation bug too

But apparently present day Samatoki is as hot as ever in his close ups so i guess they’re putting their money into making Samatoki looking sexy as hell which I can’t complain about

like damn, those eyelashes. The Hypmic team really said “hey Samatoki has the prettiest and longest eyelashes. Look at them” and those expressions oh my god those expressions

A bit fast paced actually. They aren’t giving very much time in between lines to make room for any breathing room.

wow they’re making it real clear who the real winners here are.

Oh nice they’re keeping the rap abilities

aw damn it that sucks they didn’t show off Saburo and Jiro’s skills. I think Saburo could have easily blocked the group attack with his ability and Jiro could have at least knocked one person down. But its a shame that they have time constraints and can’t afford to draw the fight out longer

Boo the members droping like flies was no fun. But then again animation budget yeada yeada yea but i do wish that they had a little more flare with such a big event

Oh nice that was such a great twist!! I seriously thought for a second that BB would actually win! Even though I know how the whole thing plays out, I was fooled for a second into thinking that the Anime would go out and change the results to fit their agenda. But no! that was such a great way to pull off a dupe!!

Oh my god that was just. so good I was 100% ready to not like how the songs were but damn they pulled off a banger I don’t have too much to say about it but I found it very interesting how all of BB’s attacks are arcs of electricity with their trio of colors while MTC had a pretty big variety of attacks

Plus he nerds out, a lot,,,, so he’s incredibly supportive

Plus, you do do covers of his songs and the buster bros which he finds incredibly adorable and loves you for it

Jiro

Also a very out and obvious anime fan

So he super duper supports you, though he’s kinda shy to ask Ichiro if you can guest star

But Jiro is really in awe of you and he asks shyly if you can cover some of his favourite songs

And he promotes you too on social media and all that

As for shoots, he’s game to dress up and like help you out

But it’s more of you have fun together rather than actually get any work done

You did his song alone then he insisted you do it with him

So at the time when you cosplayed as Jiro, the internet exploded

Saburo

Social media god with about three posts on his instagram

He promotes you so well that you see a rise in your followers right away

Plus he’s really good at taking pictures and doing photoshoots

He’s shy at performing with you, but if it’s for an anime he really likes, he goes for it and you love seeing his unfiltered enthusiasm because he’s usually a bit more shy

But yeah, he prefers to be your cameraman and to be fair, he really is good at what he does

He’s shy, but he loved it when you did your own rendition of new star and he’s so soft and uwu he put extra effort into editing that vid

Samatoki

Ah well, he probably heard some of the songs from when Ichiro would fucking blast them on the radio

And he actually likes some of them

So though he isn’t as well-versed as Ichiro, Samatoki would ask if you could play some of the ones he likes and you’re all for it

And he likes what you’re doing so in a very tsundere way he asks you to guest star and sometimes he IG story’s you and all that

And he also takes pics of you for your shoots…. And you managed to convince him once

Oh and of course, you did a cover of his songs while wearing his polo and that made him very happy

Jyuto

He also doesn’t get the anime shit right away

But I’m sure he knows some so he’s into it to some extent

He’s shy to cosplay, but once you convince him it works out miraculously

Plus when you dress up like him he loves to because he’s genuinely so flattered

Secretly an amazing photographer so he’s out there to just help you out

And he does ;et you guest star in concerts and he loves recording your practices for his own personal consumption because he’s a lil selfish like that

Riou

Doesn’t get it at first and things that all the shit you do is original

And after you explain it to him he lowkey gets into watching the shows and he asks if you can do some of the ones he likes

And he’s supper supportive in his own stoic way

Like yeah he won’t cosplay with you and yeah he won’t appear in duets with you (unless it’s his song or an MTC one)

But he is a solid presence all the time and you appreciate his effort and kindness

then he always reminds you to rest and not push yourself so that you can be at your 100% all the time, but it’s okay not to be

Ramuda

All the game to dress up and be your fashion desgoiner

He even makes the cosplay clothes for you and makes a version for himself

Actively asks you to duet with him and collaborate on videos and concerts and photoshoots

You also help him with releasing a cosplay line for his clothes line

And anyway, you love him the more for it

So the shoots are beautiful and the social media promo is off the charts because ramada is a god at it

And he’s very enthusiastic about your performances and he sells you really really well

Gentaro

Another behind the scenes kind of guy

You won’t find him in your pictures or in your videos or whatever

But he’s the one giving you tips on your vocals and what not

And also he’s taking your pics and since he’s an artist at heart (but I believe he can’t draw) he takes good pics because he can visualise it in your head

Also when he promotes you, like damn his words are really convincing and everyone just wants to listen to you

Plus when you dressed up as him one time, he felt so soft that he had to take the best pictures of the two of you

Dice

They're usually so cute, so I just wanted to know ^^ Of course, you don't just have to post the cute and domestic stuff, but anything that comes to mind! But you don't have to do this at all, if you don't want to!

@yokairu I love AUs so much, but a lot these aren’t anything too drastic though so I hope these are still interesting to read!

💛 I made a post about it before, here, but I have an AU where Hifumi and I work as hosts together. I already have about two pages of a fic written about it but I’m not too sure if I want to make it a one-shot or a series.

💛 There’s also another AU I have with Hifumi with the same basic idea, however, I’m working at a rival host club that’s starting to slowly take the spotlight over his own. Their usual costumers have slowly started visiting us and not use to being second place, the hosts decide to send Hifumi to do some undercover recon. Well, at least as undercover as you can get with someone like Hifumi... He drags poor Doppo into it and the two show up on my shift, requesting me for the night since I was currently the popular pick. Our club is significantly different from Hifumis on the fact that his works more on realistic escapism while our focus is on otherworldly fantasy such as demons, living dolls, and other magical boys. My specific role is an incubus which included a very nicely stylized uniform with horns and sharp nails to boot! When Hifumi came his plan was originally to establish his host dominance by out-flirting with me and maybe riling up some of our costumers over the fact that THE GIGOLO was here. However, the plan started to backfire when I wouldn’t react negatively to it and it didn’t help that maybe, just maybe, Doppo was getting a lil crush on the me, the rival host. The next night, I would show up to his host club because I genuinely thought the reason he came was to support me rather than anything negative, so I came to support him too! - 🍛💜 I haven’t grasped the timeline for Hypmic just yet, so forgive me if this kinda butchers it. I originally thought of this AU after playing Long Gone Days which I really loved.

When the war had originally broke out extra soldiers were sent out to help Japan fight back the Party of Words in an attempt to prevent their spread. I worked as a combat medic and sent to the troops that needed it most, which just happened to be Rios. Luckily, it had been his though because I knew no Japanese and relied on the few people who knew English to help me with understanding orders. The first time I met Jakurai was after the raid on his hospital, I had originally defied my troop’s orders to help them, arguing that all medical areas should be considered neutral territory. Luckily, medics have become a vital resource so I was let go with just a harsh hit from the butt of my commanding officer’s rifle and left behind. When I awoke, I rushed to the targeted hospital with the plan on helping any civilians and doctors harmed, only to find my team downed. There I met the Doctor himself alongside Ramuda and I was flooded with panic on how these two could take out an army. I explained my situation to Jakurai since he was the only fluent English speaker of the two and he ended up looking over my head injury. I helped him however I could in return for what my team had done to his patients and promised not to report their involvement with my teams deaths. In the timeline of the main plot, I live with Rio, making medicine and soaps as he does the hunting and cooking. He also has to fight solo for all the raids we get on our base since he was the only one between us that had high enough qualifications to be granted one of the prototype microphones. After he officially became a member of MTC, Jyuto had finally told me that the war was long over. Realizing I was basically left behind in Japan, I asked Rio to teach me Japanese so I could make a life for myself outside of the woods. While I’m learning I essentially become a groupie for MTC, until we make it to the walls of Chuuoku and I run into Jakurai for the second time. Then the story can go a multitude of ways, I haven’t decided on a main path, but the ideas I had are: staying with Rio, reuniting with Jakurai, or getting picked up by my usual team and becoming a member of a division. Sometimes I play my daydreams out like visual novels so I always have this issue!! - Then I have a few smaller soulmate AUs The rule of this AU is that you can’t see color until you’ve made contact with your Soulmate. Doppo and I were up against each other in a rap battle, going pretty hard on one another. I was getting in his face, being a little more aggressive than I normally would’ve because of the adrenaline running though me. Just barely, I skid his hand right past his cheek and we were both hit with a sudden ray of color for the briefest of moments. Finding your soulmate is usually written as such a beautiful moment but in reality, and especially when you’re in the middle of a high stakes rap battle, it has a lot of strain on a person. I mean you’re seeing color for the first time and by the person who was just rapping about how you were a loser. It was a lot and we both ended up passing out, forcing the battle into a 2v2. (Alternatively, an AU in an AU where we don’t pass out and Doppo and I feel too weird to battle the person we just found out is our soulmate, so its just awkward)

Another one is ‘whatever you draw on yourself it shows up on your soulmate’. This one isn’t too elaborate just little scenes I daydream of Doppo and I writing messages between us. A small idea I had was that Doppo and Hifumi would be writing lil messages between them and suddenly I start writing too and they just realize they have a third soulmate.

I read her backstory and listened to the songs as well, you have such a great imagination! Honestly I wish she was a real character in hypmic ♡ I had a lot of fun writing about Amethyst! Samatoki Aohitsugi:

• Her taste for anime and cheerful personality reminded him of Ichiro, which was definitely an obstacle for Samatoki.

• But we all know too well that this man may act rudely at a first encounter, but he slowly will start getting along with people – and with Amethyst it was no different.

• The turning point was when he saw her rapping. She was defending a group of teenage girls who were kidnapped when MTC happened to be in the same area.

• Her delicate, yet thoughtful rhymes caught his attention – Samatoki could tell she was powerful.

• He had talked to her before, but never expected she was this good at rapping. Samatoki felt ashamed for doubting her skills.

• From this encounter, he and his mates started to meet Amethyst frequently, which turned into a friendship based on mutual respect and admiration.

• Another thing about their friendship is the fact that Samatoki has a soft spot for girly ladies thanks to Nemu, which makes him see Amethyst almost as a little sister now that he knows her better.

• They enjoy talking about rap competitions and challenging each other for battles from time to time.

• Samatoki is a bit extreme for those things though: he will get super happy when he wins but start complaining at a loss lol.

• But Samatoki sees Amethyst as friend, not an enemy – he doesn’t get mad at her in the end.

• These two also enjoy taking strolls around Yokohama and watching movies at the cinema.

• Amethyst gets particularly excited if Samatoki invites her to watch an anime movie.

• He really likes her music and always make sure to play it in his earphones when he’s taking the subway.

Jyuto Iruma:

• The first time Jyuto saw Amethyst was during the encounter she had with MTC, and he was instantly mesmerized by her beauty.

• Conversations at coffee shops eventually bloomed into a crush for her, which is something he’s not ready to tell her yet.

• Jyuto enjoys flirting way too much to lose the opportunity of doing it before confessing~

• He loves making seductive eye contact with Amethyst while they talk – she gets super flustered and cute.

• Jyuto will also throw some of his romantic lines near her, which never fails to make Amethyst panic in blush (>ω<)

• He doesn’t know she likes him though – he thinks she acts that way near him out of embarrassment.

• Of course, it’s not all about flirting: like the rest of his crew, Jyuto has great respect for her rapping abilities.

• He really likes art, so of course he felt very excited when Amethyst told him she was an artist.

• Jyuto buys a piece from her every once in a while – not just because it’ll help her financially but also because he genuinely appreciates her talent.

• Speaking of which, there was this day MTC and Amethyst gathered in Samatoki’s basement.

• When talking to Rio, Jyuto noticed the girl held a sketchbook and a pencil, glancing at him and drawing attentively.

• He was expecting her to show the sketch later, but instead she kept quiet about it. Jyuto felt confused, but Rio, who also noticed her drawing, understood what was going on.

• In fact, Amethyst was too embarrassed to show her crush the sketch – it felt like he could see through her lines the feelings she had for him if he ever saw it.

• Jyuto decided after a few days if she wanted to toy him like that, then he would take his turn (¬‿¬ )

• He sent her a bouquet of violets and a card written “From your secret admirer.”

• If it depends on Amethyst, it won’t take long until Jyuto becomes the knight in shining armor she had been dreaming of ♡

Rio Mason Busujima:

• These two are great friends with each other, sharing a buddy-like relationship.

• Rio always invites her to go camping with him and the rest of MTC.

• Amethyst particularly loves to eat marshmallows by the fire and talk about cute animals with Rio during such meetings.

• Amethyst is curious to hear the stories about the time Rio was a soldier as well.

• When Amethyst visits Rio, there’s always takoyaki and sushi made since he knows it’s her favorite dish (⌒‿⌒)

• By the way, they both enjoy cooking, especially when they can do it together.

• Amethyst makes sure she is the one providing the ingredients though lol.

• When she is gone, Rio keeps on playing her songs in his phone while he cooks. It reminds him of the fun cooking sessions with his friend.

• He once found out she has a crush in Jyuto – it was written in an open page of the diary she left in his camp.

• Rio had suspected it before, especially after that day she was so focused on sketching Jyuto’s features, but now he was sure of it.

• He didn’t tell anything to her or anybody else, but he is secretly trying to get Jyuto to date her, giving his mate some advice.

Aohitsugi Samatoki:

G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?):

Samatoki is gentle in his own way but overall, you don’t think the word really suits him. He’s more rough around the edges when it comes to love and he can be very direct when he wants to be, even if he also skates around certain topics as he fears what the outcome might be (he’s no pushover but he’s not rushing to lose you either). He handles you and your heart with far more care than you ever suspected though, knowing his gentle side mostly comes out when he’s putting the effort into being romantic.

K = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?):

The emotional weight and intensity that are in each one of Samatoki’s kisses leave you always feeling satisfied if not a bit exhausted, putting forth all your effort into the more passionate ones as you don’t want to disappoint. It also almost always leads to more if you want it to and Samatoki is always raring to go even if you’re in his office or out in public together. He at least has the tact to kiss you chastly when you’re around others and in crowded public spaces but you can always tell by how he lingers that he hungers for more.

Samatoki did without a hint of hesitation. He knew he wanted this more than anything and you’d be showing the same signs, staring at his lips all night and flirting so hard he wondered how he hadn’t realized you had feelings for him before. It’s so incredibly surreal to finally be kissing someone he loved, someone he had been pining over for months, and he’s almost afraid to blink in case it all dissolves away before his very eyes.

M = Memory (What’s their favourite memory together?):

The time you spent an entire day inside a thrift store slowly carding through each and every item to find a totally new wardrobe. You seemed more excited than him when you found the store that was practically a warehouse, excitedly jabbering on about all the hidden gems that might be there. He couldn’t say he was extremely interested in finding some of these ‘hidden gems’ and thus started the journey of finding interesting new articles of clothing, finding stuff for Rio and Jyuto too (which you wanted to get for them more than him). You even walked out with matching hawaiian style shirts and you were so happy Samatoki knew he’d wear the ugly thing out in public just to see you smile.

R = Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?):

Samatoki always gets bored and restless on rainy days, finding them to be tedious to deal with as it’s not as though he still doesn’t have to work in the rain. On days he doesn’t feel like going in and just stays at home he tends to cook just due to pure boredom, enlisting you in these activities and making you taste test new things he wants to try out for dinner. You always have a good time when Samatoki throws on the old cooking apron and you admire him from kitchen table as he cooks, trying to hold back all the househusband jokes brewing in your head.

Z = Zebra (If they wanted a pet, what would they get?):

Samatoki isn’t really a pet person and he thinks his ideal pet would be something like a snake or a lizard of some sort. The only thing stopping him from getting one is his hatred of bugs but if he found a way around having to handle the squishy bundles of protein for his pet he’d buy one in a heartbeat. Dogs are too high maintenance but cats are lowkey enough that he’d consider them, too. He thinks owning a bird would be funny considering how much Jyuto detests them and would threaten to have it in the front entrance of his office for days he doesn’t want to be bothered by the cop.

Yumeno Gentaro:

G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?):

Gentaro exudes gentleness and you’ll find that when romantically involved with him, things generally remain light-hearted. He doesn’t like to force situations and he’s the ‘sit back and see what happens’ type of person, approaching romance in a rather relaxed way that said there’d be no hard feelings if things didn’t work out. It can be to the point you don’t know how seriously he takes the relationship but heavy emotions wear Gentaro out, it’s why he lies so much because honesty is more exhausting but if you’re worth his time, you’ll get to see this side of him.

K = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?):

Gentaro’s kisses are gentle in nature, starting off with him pressing his nose against yours and asking in a soft tone if you’d like him to kiss you. When you agree he briefly gives you exactly what you want but pulls away to tease, saying if you want more from him than you’d have to come get it. He’s almost always playful when he kisses you and he always manages to lift your spirits with his kisses; he seems surprised and flustered to hear you admit that but happy kissing you isn’t just self-serving (as his mood is always improved by you giving him a smooch too).

It was a real 50/50 decision, the two of you having to work together to achieve it in the long run. Gentaro liked to sit back, watch, and wait to see what you’d do, never acting even when you got so close to him you could feel his breath on your skin. It was almost annoying how he managed to hold out and keep it together while you were stumbling over yourself but when you finally tell him to kiss you he does so without complaint. He ends up stuttering afterwards which shows he’s not quite as together as he’d like you to think and you’re pleased that he’s now embarrassed after an entire night of leaving you guessing.

M = Memory (What’s their favourite memory together?):

Gentaro’s favorite memory was when the two of you were sitting on a bench in the park, holding hands as the sun set while chattering about this or that. There had been a few storytelling sessions where he’d seen how quick you were on the draw when he asked you about random passerby, a lot of laughs shared at the absolutely nonsensical stories of vampires and monsters that you came up with. He said you had a mind that rivaled his and that he’d gladly collaborate with you on a novel some day.

R = Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?):

Rainy days are never boring with Gentaro as he can come up with a story for just about anything, though he’s sad he can’t people watch as he normally does. Gentaro would love an elderly cat who just wants to live out its final years in peace, having it sit on his lap and tending to its needs. He loves cooing at the fluff ball and only gives it the best care, brushing its hair and humming happily to himself as he realizes, without caring, that he’s become a crazy cat man. He just enjoys the calmness an older cat brings with it and the lack of destruction to his house, amused that Dice doesn’t seem to trust it (nor does his cat trust Dice until he brings a can of tuna as an offering).

Anon asked: Can I get headcanons of Saburo, Riou, Gentaro and Jakurai with a non-binary, deaf S/O?

im so sorry my phone decided to hang on me and i lost your request ahhh

Saburo, Riou, Gentaro, Jakurai - Deaf, non-binary s/o

Saburo

Bold of you to assume he doesn’t already know sign language

Or even if he doesn’t, he’s quick to pick it up

It may take a while before he starts to open up, but he really started dating them because of their kindness and he has great respect for their resilience

Communicates with them a lot through his actions, the kind of couple that would do a lot of stuff together rather than Saburo doing everything for their s/o

He’s actually really affectionate but he doesn’t show it upfront, the warmth can certainly be felt by his s/o, however!

Would be quick to stand up for them whenever they got bullied

Saburo would definitely bring them to see his brothers, and of course Ichiro would pick up on the fact that they’re deaf, but it would take a while for Jiro to realise

Jiro would probably assume that they were playing some sort of silent game, up until Ichiro pulls him away to whisper into his ear that Saburo’s s/o is actually deaf

The Yamada brothers would be really open to them, and would spend loads of time getting to know them better despite the communication problem

Everyone would try their best to make Saburo’s s/o feel at home without making them feel awkward

Saburo would let his s/o sit beside him while he was doing his homework/coding

He would even teach them along the way

Riou

Really terrible at reading body language so his s/o would probably have to sign to him or make a really obvious facial expression to show their emotions

It may take a while for his s/o to feel comfortable and not feel inferior when they’re with Riou, especially since he’s in Mad Trigger Crew

When Riou brings them to visit MTC, they’re terrified, and their self esteem drops even lower

Samatoki would raise an eyebrow, saying that they seemed to be interesting

They would watch some sort of communication go on between Riou and the other two members of MTC, with a looming sense of doom that lingers

But ultimately Riou would look at his s/o and would give them a smile, signalling that all’s good!!!

Jyuto would actually shock Riou and Samatoki by signing to them to ask if they were hungry (since he probably has had to interrogate deaf suspects)

Since Riou doesn’t have access to the Internet he won’t really be familiar with sign language, but instead mainly communicates through drawings on the forest floor/any piece of paper/on his hand

Asks Jyuto to teach him sign language

It’ll take a while for him to pick up, but they’ll learn and practice together!!

Honestly if anyone messes with a member of MTC/anyone close to/affiliated with MTC, they would get their asses handed back to them on a silver platter by the other MTC members

They receive protection from 3 of the most powerful men in Yokohama

Riou would cook a lot for them, and bring them on long walks in the forest because he knows they like feeling the sun on their skin

Gentaro

The only one that wouldn’t bother learning sign language

That’s a lie of course!!

He would struggle a little while learning because he doesn’t really like new things

He would mainly communicate through his writing

Describes everything by writing stories, writes about his daily life, all the beautiful sounds that his s/o can’t hear

Makes his stories as vivid as possible, and even includes his s/o in his stories because he thinks they’re beautiful tbh

He wouldn’t openly diss anyone who insults his s/o, rather he roasts them over a slow fire (not literally but i think you get what i mean)

Honestly it’ll hurt so much for the one who insulted his s/o Gentaro would probably scratch open old wounds normal people wouldn’t know about

Gentaro gives me the impression that he’s really good at reading people

Thinks the whole non-binary concept is pretty interesting, and loves how his s/o dresses in gender-neutral clothing

If they persuade him enough he may end up giving in!!!

Somewhat glad that they can’t hear him cursing under his breath sometimes while he’s writing

In the beginning it may be a little awkward when the two of them just sit there in silence, but after a while he lets them sit in his lap while he reads/writes and it’s honestly really adorable

Ends up becoming really observant since he knows they have difficulty making requests and after a while he can basically tell what they want just by a few blinks and mouth twitches

Brings them to meet the rest of fling posse and Ramuda IMMEDIATELY starts designing clothes for them while Dice continues being a dumbass and attempts to communicate with them, only to be smacked by Gentaro
