Blood & Claws
Disclaimer: I do not own Blood Moon or Thicker Than. All those wonderful rights go to @barbwritesstuff . This a fanfiction of a headcanon I imagined for my two OCs. One OC is Ravi the son of the MC from Thicker Than IF and Leighla, the second daughter of Sergei and my MC from Blood Moon. Enjoy.
-----‐----------‐---------------------------------‐-----------------------
Werewolves were passionate. That was just one of the many thoughts that went through Ravi's head as he lay under his girlfriend, her tongue licking her top lip before continuing to give her boyfriend hickeys.
He should be doing his history homework; it was due tomorrow, and while he was finished, he still hadn't turned it in.
Ravi's hand touched Leighla's hip, pulling her down more on top of him, the friction making them both shutter.
He should be calling his mom; he did promise to help her set up a meeting with Uncle Marcel, although he would never call him to the man's face. But it shouldn't be a problem; his mom knew he was in college; she probably thought he was doing some big papers. The thought of his mother's goons finding him in such an intimate position made him want to puke.
Leighla put her hands in his hair. Ravi could swear he could feel slight claws between the hair pulling, which made him harden, wishing that there weren't so many clothes between them.
Ravi thought about the dentist, how much he loved finances, anything to keep the growing pain between his legs to a minimum, which was proving hard as the most beautiful girl was straddling his lap, but he just felt it was wrong. Maybe he shouldn't. Hell, the universe gave him Leighla; shouldn't he take every moment he can with her before time runs out?
"Okay, what is it?" Leighla pulled back, her light skin flushed and her dark brown hair which was messy from the makeout.
Ravi couldn't turn away from the bluest eyes he'd ever seen, the light gold in the middle giving away her supernatural nature.
"Mh?" Ravi asked, surprised, as Leighla looked down at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Are you still upset that I brought you a strawberry donut?" Leighla asked, rolling her eyes. “I know you asked for a bagel, but they were out of bagels, so just enjoy your freakin donut!”
"What?" Ravi furrowed his brow before understanding. "No. The donut is fine, love." Ravi kissed her brow, which made her nose crinkle in such a way that Ravi almost passed out from cuteness overload.
"I'm just thinking." Ravi continued.
"About what? If something is bothering you, I would like to hear it; we are partners in crime, after all." Leighla said softly, touching his cheek, which Ravi instinctively leaned into.
"I was thinking about your dad."
Leighla's stumbled back. Her eyes widened in surprise, and then her face changed into disgust before nodding her head and getting off him.
"Alright. Well, I am going to go now." She said it in such a monotone way that Ravi thought the shock turned her into a robot.
Ravi frowned. "Wait...what?" It then clicked on what it sounded like, and he reached out to Leighla. "God! Not like that! Especially not when we were...ugh!" Ravi had the instinct to gag at the mention of Mr. Stolyarchuk, like, well, THAT!
"Well, what was I supposed to think? Why were you even thinking about my dad in the first  place?"Leighla said, waving her arms around. Ravi guessed to get her point across.
Ravi pinched the bridge of his nose. "I meant, I was thinking about family and everything."
Leighla calmed down and sat on the bed; Ravi quickly followed.
"Family?"
"Yeah, about how I don't think it's right that we are hiding us from everyone."
Leighla pressed her lips together. "Technically, we are not hiding our relationship from everyone." She taped her foot. "David, Franklin, and Toby know about us."
"Those are school friends and humans at that; they don't even know what you are." Ravi gave a tried sigh, falling on the bed, the soft mattress comforting him.
Leighla soon followed, laying her head on Ravi's chest. "Well, they count; if you were able to keep your hands off me, maybe they wouldn't know as well." She said it in a teasing tone.
Ravi opened his mouth in surprise. "Me? If you forgot, you're the one who followed me to college."
Leighla hit her hand on his chest—not enough to hurt but to get his attention. "Followed you?! I was accepted!" She tucked her hair behind her hair, but that did nothing as her curly locks just went right back into their usual place. "I got a whole scholarship for running track and field, or did you forget?" Her voice was full of pride.
"I think you winning had something to do with you turning hairy now and again. Supernatural speed and all that." Ravi laughed at his girlfriend's glare. "Okay, okay, yes, if anything, I followed you."
Ravi's voice took on a more serious tone. "But do you think you would ever tell your family about us?"
Leighla spoke softly. "Do you?"
Ravi thought about his mother; her stoic and dark personality stuck in time, her features never changed, and her instincts never told her to let her guard down. But when he was alone with his mother, he noticed the slight twinkle in her eye as she stared at him, silently telling him that she was happy to see him. The shoulder touches, letting him know she had his back whenever he needed her.
Ravi didn't know if his mother was always so stoic; he knew that her becoming the next Blackwell made her have such a pessimistic view point, but he knew that she cared about her people, about humans, and about him, and that included his happiness.
"Yeah." Ravi nodded. "I think so; my mom probably already knows I am hiding something from her." She always knows. "She would want me to be happy." Ravi kissed Leighla's head.
Leighla looked up at him, snuggling into his chest more. "My sister would have a riot." Ravi laughed at the mention of Leighla's older sister. "Mom and dad, though you know that vampires have hurt them, dad still gets these nightmares."
Ravi frowned. "My mother isn't Blackwell, and neither am I." He moved a little so he was on his side, looking Leighla in the eye. "I'm just a normal human."
Leighla snorted and raised an eyebrow. "You might be human, babe, but you're not normal." Leighla touched his tattoo.
A black swan with a small crown on its head. His mother's symbol. Ravi remembered the last time he was kidnapped; it was the only one he could remember. A group of rogue vampires were able to beat up his mother's security and held him in a warehouse; what they didn't account for was the tracker on his backpack.
It wasn't long before his mother came into the warehouse.... alone. The smell of death in the air followed soon after, and that was the first time Ravi realized that his mother wasn't really human. He knew, of course, she didn't hide it from him, but to see your mother tear out the throats of her enemies really opened his eyes. It took him quite a while to get over that, but the next day, he was taken to a tattoo shop. That was when he got his mother's symbol on his arm.
It told everyone not to mess with him. The point was later made by his mother painting the walls of every territory with the kidnappers blood. The dried blood picture of her symbol, which didn't go over well, but it was soon settled in a meeting. Thankfully
No human, vampire, hunter, or witch ever messed with him again. He was treated like a prince because he was one; he was his mother's most cherished thing, and you didn't mess with Blackwell's things. Sometimes, he covered up; no one really knew what he looked like, but they knew the symbol, so he got by with being treated normally most of the time.
Ravi's mouth turned dry. "Fine, I'm not "normal," but my mother hasn't hurt your pack; you know how she is about her alliances or netural ground."
Leighla sighed. "I am not saying she isn't, babe, but my parents were really hurt—my cousin as well....my aunt.... My mom respects yours, but I don't know if...that will be enough."
Ravi played with Leighla's hair. "Do they know you are even dating?"
Leighla snorts. "My sister, Aunt Minjo, and my mom know I am dating a human; my dad is clueless; you know how protective he is."
Yes. Ravi did know how protective Mr. Sergi was; when Leighla's sister told her dad that she had found a mate from another pack, he was not happy at all. He almost scared the poor kid to death.
"Then I got to think of the pack." Leighla touched Ravi's cheek. "My mother is the alpha; how would that look if I were dating Blackwell's son?"
The silence was deafening; the couple just listened to each other's breathing, trying to ignore the thoughts in their heads, until Ravi spoke up.
"We could run away together." He said it softly.
Leighla froze. "What?" Her voice came out breathless.
"We could run away together." Ravi said it more firmly. He got up and started to pace. "Get on a bus and never look back."
Leighla sat up. "We can't do that, Ravi."
"Why the hell not, Lei? I tired of having to travel to other territories to go on dates or looking over our shoulders before we kissed." Ravi got on his knees in front of Leighla. "I want a kid, a house, and a big wedding with those napkins that are in cool shapes."
Seconds passed before Leighla raised an eyebrow, a twinkle in her eye. "A kid?"
Ravi licked his lips, fighting the instinct not to kiss her. "What? You don't?"
Leighla pulled him on top of her. "You said, kid. I need you to add an 's' to it, and you have me sold."
Ravi kissed her deeply, whispering. "I love you; you know that, right, Lei?"
Leighla grinned. "Not as much as I love you." After a pause, she said, "We will figure it out."
Ravi smiled, bringing her closer. "Yeah, we will figure it out."

Stay With Me - Demon Leo AU - Chapter 24
Hello my dears, I meant to have this out earlier but to be honest, this has been a shit week for me and my family. If anyone is of the praying sort, I wouldn't refuse a few sent our way.🙏
I enjoy writing. It's my escape. I hope you all enjoy this chapter and let me know what you think~💖💖
😈😈😈😈😈😈
Your heart did backflips when you heard Leo call the woman 'mother'. You hadn't even met Leo's father but knew he was an evil demon. From what you had gathered from his mother, she was no different. However, she seemed to listen to the will of her son. Perhaps you didn't have to fear as much from her.
"Leo, sweetie, we need to talk about this. Marriage is a big decision. Ravi already sullied the Underworld with that human of his...." Her voice sounded annoyed as she ended her sentence with a sigh.
"Mother, speak again of my wife that way and I'll make sure you have a front row seat in the Underworld." Ravi appeared behind Leo, barely containing his rage.
"Your threats mean nothing to me. What do I have to fear from my own sons? I haven't heard from your father but I am sure he doesn't approve of this."
"That doesn't matter, I killed him." Leo stood, hauling you into his arms as he did. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders and buried your face in his neck, hoping he would teleport you both out of this situation. Although, you were sure she could follow.
"YOU WHAT?!" You flinched when his mother screamed. Her voice echoed throughout the meadow. You heard a few birds escape from their trees, flapping wildly to get away.
"He attacked me, we fought, and we both died. Y/N sacrificed her soul for mine and was sent to the underworld. I went to get her back, Hakyeon offered his soul so she could come back here. End of story." Leo explained in a monotone voice and then turned to his brothers. "I'm going back to the house, you're welcome to come.
Ravi and Ken nodded, keeping a close eye on their mother. Apparently trust ran thin in their family.
"Let's go back home, okay?" You nodded and in an instant, you were back on the sofa. It seemed as if it had been a lifetime since you were on it even though it had been an hour or so. The dagger was still sitting on the end table where you had left it. You vowed never to touch it again.
A few seconds later, Ken popped in, as well as their mother.
"Ravi said to let him know if you needed anything, he's going to take those three down." Leo nodded and then looked at his mother.
"So, would you like to tell me why you're here and why you attacked my girlfriend?"
"Leo, dear, don't use that tone with me. You know very well why I'm here. The seal on the palace was broken. I thought that maybe your father had finally come so his senses but apparently it's because you murdered him."
"He came here and started the fight. I only defended what was mine. If the seal was broken, shouldn't you be with your lover?"
You eyes widened at the venom in Leo's voice. The story was thickening and you suddenly wanted to hide in your room.
"You dare!" Lightning sparks went off around the room and you instinctively braced yourself. Leo put his hand on the back of your head as he stood next to you, a gesture of reassurance.
"You know I do."
"At any rate, I couldn't go there because your father had him killed so what was the point. So, naturally, I came looking for my boys!"
"Nice to know that we came second." You could see the tiniest bits of black smoke hovering around Leo's feet and you knew that he was reigning in his anger.
"That isn't the point. What we need to discuss now is why this little idiot is in your forest, living as she pleases!"
"Watch your mouth." You looked up at Leo and saw his fangs descend just before his eyes changed. You squeezed his hand and he took a deep breath.
"But Leo, Cresenda is still waiting for you. She's been loyal all this time! How could abandon her...and your child?!"
You choked on the gasped of air that went down your throat the wrong way at his mother's words.
"Child...?" That one word was all you could manage.
"Yes, he's a lovely little boy! He--"
"Mother! Do you really think I believe all those lies?! He isn't mine!"
His mother ignored him and sat next to you.
"I'm afraid he is, my dear. Do you really think he's lived all this time without creating offspring? I don't know about you but I would hate to be the person that broke up a family." She patted your hand and looked at you with sorrowful eyes. You didn't believe a word of it. Before you could say something, Leo knelt down in front of you.
"Y/N-"
"If Leo says he isn't his, then he isn't. He wouldn't lie to me."
"Of all the outrageous...! I demand you leave at once! I will not see another one of my sons with a human!"
"I won't leave unless Leo asks me to." You had been through so much with Leo and you'd be damned if anyone would take that away.
"Do you realize what I could do to you? I have developed an art for torture most people have never even dreamt of!" His mother's smoke started to wrap around one of your hands but it was quickly taken over by black smoke. In almost an instant, black smoke swirled protectively around your body.
"Try it and you'll be dead before you even touch her." You looked up at Leo to see that he had gone full demon. His hair, eyes, claws, and even his wings were on display. He looked even more furious than when he had saved you in the town center.
"Leo, you need to come to your senses! Humans are the enemy! Why do you think your brothers are dead?!"
"Because father attacked one of the villages in search of a rumor of a powerful object. The people retaliated and went after the whole family. That's why. The humans didn't start anything."
"But they still think that way!"
"That was over 400 years ago! You have been sealed in the palace for the better part of 250 years. Don't you think that things have maybe changed?"
"But Leo--!"
"Enough. Must I banish you from my forest? We have a happy life here, don't try to destroy it as you usually do."
"You would banish your own mother? After all I've done for you?!" His mother's own smoke began to rise from her feet and her features began to change. Leo grabbed you hand and pulled to up to stand behind him.
"Don't try to delude everyone into thinking that you were a caring mother. You stuck around long enough to give birth to us and then carted us off to the nanny. We all are aware of why you were sealed in the palace. And if you dare to touch one hair on y/n's head, I will not hesitate to put you back in there, or under it. The choice is yours."
"You would turn your back on your own mother and betray the memory of your brothers who died at the hands of humans just to protect this lump of flesh?! You used to be the most ruthless out of your brothers. What happened?"
Although you had been called worse, hearing Leo's mother despise you so much sent a small pain through your heart. You supposed that you were destined to live in this world without any semblance of a mother.
"Out." Leo's quiet voice was scary. In his tone you could hear the pent up rage he was desperately trying to control.
"Leo!"
"OUT! NOW!" You flinched as his voice echoed loudly in the house. Ken, who had been silently watching from the other end of the room, stepped forward now.
"Mother, shall we go see Hakyeon? I'm sure he would love to see you." Ken placed a careful hand on his mother's arm.
"Yes, perhaps I should. At least he should see reason. He knows how humans are." After her statement, she huffed and then disappeared along with Ken.
You stood motionless, listening to the ragged breaths coming from Leo. He was seething. His hands were fists at his sides. His black smoke nearly covered the entire living room. Reaching out, you gently ran your fingers over his wings. After a few seconds, Leo took a deep breath and turned to you.
"Y/N..." He stood before you and took your face in his hands. You raised your eyes to see that the fangs were gone but his hair was still misplaced. "Are you alright?"
"Would you believe me if I said I was okay?"
"Not at all. I'm sorry. I had no idea that father's death would release her. Not to mention you had to deal with those hunters. I shouldn't have left so soon after you getting hurt."
"I'm a bit overwhelmed but I will be okay. Your mother seems pretty upset."
"I don't care. I only care about you and this forest. She has no say here." Leo leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on your lips. You smiled and circled your arms around his waist.
"I think we have a lot to talk about." Leo tensed and you raised your hands to his face now and curled them around his cheeks.
"Were you planning on telling me about your apparent girlfriend who is still pining away for you in some far off land?"

" ... so, if you choose this option, it will allow you to change her language. I programmed about a hundred!" The Artisan proudly explained as she excitedly pointed at the screen.
"Why do ya wanna change her language?" Griffon questioned as he contentedly perched on top of V's bookshelf.
"It's just how it works." Nico answered as she raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. Then, she looked back at V, who was still staring confusedly at the cellphone in his hand. She pointed a finger at one of the options and spoke once more. "You also have complete control over the type of voice, accent,... basically the way she speaks!"
"What does it mean?"
The poor poet felt like he was back at the department store where he had to listen to the Sales Representative for two hours straight as the cheerful employee explained, in full, excruciating detail, how a coffee maker works. Luckily, though, he didn't have to pay anything this time around. The cellphone was a gift from Nico, herself. He honestly appreciated the gift, he just didn't expect it to be rigged in such a way. During the first month that he owned it, he found out that it has an x - ray function ( he accidentally saw Griffon's insides, to his utter horror and regret, when he experimented with its camera ), a laser option for the flashlight ( which actually made a hole through the wall in the kitchen ), an intruder alarm ( which was a recording of Nero's songs on loop ), and a very accurate tracking device of every person he knew ( the last time he checked, he found out the exact whereabouts of his brother Dante, from his frequent travels to the ice cream and pizza parlor to his nightly sojourns to the nearby club houses ).
And now, it seemed that his wonder cellphone has another hidden function, and that was to give Shadow her very own voice with the use of the state - of - the - art bell that was dangling from her red ribbon, which was cutely tied around her neck. Apparently, the said bell was a gadget made by Nico, herself, to channel a demon's thoughts and translate them into coherent words with just a push of a button from the Kitty Cat Voice app that was programmed and installed by the same woman who gave him the cellphone.
And honestly? It amazed, unnerved, and confused the hell out of the poet, who was only beginning to live a life of his own in the modern society, away from his bickering brothers and close to the woman he loved.
"Here, let me show you." Nico took the cellphone from V's hands and typed something. She, then, looked at Shadow, who was obediently sitting on her usual spot on the floor, and spoke, "Say something, girl."
V and Griffon waited in silence as they looked at Shadow, and a few moments later, the demonic feline did speak!
"Bonjour!" The familiar said in a deep and overly sensual male voice that almost made Griffon fall from the shelf. "Je m'appelle Shadow. Ravie de vous rencontrer!"
"EURGH!" Griffon howled in disgust at what Shadow just said. "What kinda erotic sound is that?!"
"Seductive French Singer." Nico answered as she proudly nodded at the cellphone in her hand. Humming in satisfaction, she scrolled through the app once more and spoke, "Hmm, let's try something else. Okay, girl! Try greetin' our Mr. poetry here."
V's eyes narrowed cautiously as he instinctively drew back a bit, feeling a little nervous and unnerved of what the familiar might say to him. With threatening and glowing red eyes, the huge black cat padded towards her master, and when she was mere inches from him, she sat and raised her head obediently. Then, she spoke.
"Kon'nichiwa, V - sama!" Shadow greeted the poet in a very small and very childish voice of a young girl that made Griffon laugh so hard. "Anata ga watashi no koe no oto ga sukidearu koto o negatte imasu!"
"What did she just say?" V, looking horrified at what his familiar just said, questioned Nico, who was laughing along with Griffon and clutching her mid - section. She was clearly making fun of his confusion, the clever woman!
"Anata wa watashi no koe no oto ga sukide wa arimasendeshita ka? Nante zankokuda, V - sama!" Shadow whined in her creepy little voice, making V even more uncomfortable. "Daikirai! DAIKIRAI!"
"Please, make it stop,..." V pleaded quietly as he bowed his head down low and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Aww, don't like Nasally Japanese Moe?" The Artisan teased. After receiving a glare from the poet as a threat, the woman laughed nervously and scratched her head. "Alright, alright! I'll put it back to its default mode."
"Which is?" The demonic bird asked, his curiosity getting the better of him as he flew towards the woman to see how she was operating the app she invented.
"Gentle English Babushcat. The voice you all heard durin' the play." Nico answered dejectedly as she made one last click on the screen before giving the cellphone back to V. "It's pretty simple, man. You open the app, no password needed, and you can select the - "
"No need."
"Okay! Okay! Just explainin',..." Nico shrugged her shoulders and shook her head on the way to the door, a defeated smile on her lips upon knowing that her precious work of art was not appreciated. "Well, then, goo -
" ... hold yer panties! I almost forgot!"
To Griffon's utter surprise, the woman turned back and strode towards V, almost knocking the poor bird on her way, and began looking for something in her large and greasy - looking yellow bag.
"What now?" V, almost feeling annoyed, questioned her as he watched her ransack through her messy backpack.
"Ah, I'm pretty sure I put it somewhere here. I just don't know if - AH! There we go!"
"What is that?" Shadow, who now sounded like the gentle, motherly middle - aged aunt from earlier during the party, asked, her tail waving from left to right in mild curiosity at the thing on Nico's hand.
"I got lots of invites to Old Fleminger's Annual New Year's Ball." The Artisan explained. "So, I'm giving you some."
"New Year's Ball?" V took the pair of golden envelopes from Nico's hand and studied it with much curiosity. He looked up from the fancy things in his hand and raised an eyebrow in question. "And who is this Fleminger? A Demon that has to be killed?"
"Oh, no, no, no! Old Fleminger is a gentle old soul who still likes to party really hard at the age of sixty. He throws this massive, fancy annual spectacle where he expects people to dress up the way he wants them to. Just so you know, last year, when Nero and Kyrie were lucky enough to get some invites, they were made to dress up as characters from famous movies. Nero dressed up as James Bond and Kyrie dressed up as a hot Bond girl. They won King and Queen of the Ball."
"Ohoho, that sounds interesting! Yes!" Griffon declared as he joined V on the sofa, his golden eyes glistening with devilish intent. "So, uh, V, who are ya gonna dress up as? The penniless poet from Moulin - aghk!" But, even before the demonic bird could finish his sentence, Shadow's tail hastily covered his beak to stop him from speaking any further, making the poor bird muffle helplessly.
"STOP IT! YOU'RE EMBARRASSING OUR MASTER!" Shadow scolded as a loud growl escaped her throat and frightened the demonic bird. "Yes, Miss Nico, please continue."
"Oh, yeah, as I was saying," Nico went on, ignoring the conflicted look on V's already stressed features. " ... you are required to dress up to match the theme of the Ball. And it's vintage this time."
"Vintage? Like," The poet asked, some tasteless thoughts of himself indulging in such a party already plaguing his overworked mind. " ... old?"
"Yeah. Kinda like how grandma Adelaide probably used to dress up when she was still a teenager." Nico nodded as she crossed her arms and tapped her chin with her fingers. Suddenly, her eyes widened. Looking once more at V and pointing a finger at him, she said, "And don't forget to ask (Y/N) out as your date, okay? It's a requirement!"
Me,... asking her out as my date to a strange Ball?! "I'm afraid to say that I' am not certain as to - "
"Aww, come on, man!" Nico pleaded as she collapsed next to V on the sofa and grabbed his shoulders, shaking them to somehow make the man come to his senses. "We all know that ya like the girl, if it isn't too obvious enough already!"
"But,... I don't even,... like her,..." V quietly said as he tried to get the woman's hands off his shoulders.
"Yeah, 'cause Shakespeare fuckin' loves her - AGHK!" Griffon used his momentary freedom from Shadow's tail to speak but, he was abruptly grabbed by one of Shadow's huge morphed hands.
"SHUT YOUR BEAK AND LET MASTER SPEAK, OR I'LL TEAR YOUR LIMBS APART!" The feline threatened.
"Don't! Please! Squawk! I beg ya! Aghk!"
"Anyway, confess to her already!" Nico went on. "Use this Ball as a chance. Dress up nicely like someone's hip and swell grandpa and woo her!"
"Hip and,… swell? And,… woo,... (Y/N)?"
"Yeah! And while ye're at it, learn some Elvis Presley moves that ol' geriatrics love and ask her to boogie with ya on the dancefloor! Be a tiger and impress her! Do everythin' ya can to sweep her off her dainty feet!"
"I'm not sure if I can do this kind of thing,..."
"Ya can do it! Just believe in yerself!" Nico smiled and stood, patting V on the shoulder. "Okay? Ye must make her say yes as soon as ya can. The Ball is in a week."
And with those not - so - encouraging words, V was left with more questions than answers, and with more problems than solutions. First of all, Shadow can speak very well now, thanks to the wonder gadget and app that Nico created. Well, Griffon was already too much on his ears but, to actually hear his two familiars bickering for real? Second, who was this old Fleminger and how did the Artisan get some invites to his prestigious event? The invitations looked really fancy and expensive, after all.
And thirdly, how could he possibly ask her out? The trip to the mall and the cinema was one thing but,...
... Nico was expecting him to confess to her.
That, and the fact that he has to dress up vintage - style for the event and dance like this Elvis Presley that Nico was talking about ( who was Elvis Presley, anyway? ). Wouldn't he become a laughingstock, then? Would he be making a complete fool of himself, then? And if that happens, would you even accept his love? Would you laugh at him and tell him he's not worthy?
These crippling thoughts were still on V's mind when he entered his dark, cold, and lonely bedroom later that evening. With the sparkling golden invites on his hand, he made his way towards the window, sat on the chair next to it, and parted the heavy curtains. And with one simple look, he saw the window to your bedroom. The curtains were, of course, closed but, he could clearly see that your lights were still on, indicating that, at the very late ( or early ) hour of two in the morning, you were still awake. You did mention to him that you could not sleep well,...
V's eyes widened a bit when he finally saw the lights being turned off in your room.
Ah, she must be feeling sleepy now, he thought.
However, not even a minute has passed when the lights turned on again. It stayed like that for about twenty more minutes, then it went dark once more.
The poet sighed. It must be so hard for her, he thought.
And then, an idea struck his mind. He did promise that he will fulfill her three wishes. The first wish didn't work out too well because of Lancaster but, what if,...?
The man left his window and went towards his bedside table where some of his poetry books were. Then, he looked at the invites in his hand.
This,... might actually work,...

Giving Him Control pt. 15
Tumblr media
A/N: The contract between a Dom and a Sub can be vital to prevent any misunderstandings or complications in the relationship. It can be negotiable, and can include whatever is agreed upon between both parties.
Characters: Ravi x Reader
Warnings: angst, graphic description of Ravi’s abusive past, please do not read if this may trigger you,
Word Count: 8048
Tumblr media
You woke up the next morning feeling like you hadn’t slept in ages. You had spent the entire night either crying, cursing yourself for falling for him, or pacing your floor. You wanted to talk to him, tell him that you had heard every word he said and that it didn’t matter to you. But it did. You loved him, there was no denying that, but he also let you know that you would end up with a broken heart. Ravi was a risk you were willing to take, and you had to do whatever you could to try and break down his walls. You wanted him to know that he was capable of love, that he was worthy of your love.
Ravi sat in his room, not sleeping in his bed as he thought about you. You had crossed his number one hard limit, and he let you. There was something about you that made him throw his his rules out the window. Sometime in the middle of the night, he came to the sudden realization that he may be falling for you. The only person who pushed his rules, made him think about someone else’s needs before his own. It scared the shit out of him that he just might let you inside his private, secluded walls. What he didn’t want to admit is that he wanted to let you in. He was afraid, something he would never admit to anyone else, that he would get hurt, or worse scare you away when you learned the truth of his past, the reason he was the way he was.
When you couldn't hide in your room any longer, you stepped cautiously into the hallway. His door was shut, and you wondered if he was in there or had already left for the day. Thinking better of it, you headed downstairs to fix something to eat. Your were standing at the stove when you heard footsteps coming down the stairs. You willed yourself not to freeze up, just to act like nothing had happened. For all he knew, you hadn't heard what he said last night.
“Good morning Ravi. Would you like something to eat? I was fixing some brunch and I would be happy to fix you a plate if you'd like some.”
Ravi stood in the doorway, watching you. He was a bit taken aback at your nonchalant demeanor, but was thankful for it.
“Yes please, thank you. Umm, what do you have planned today? I was going to work from home, and then maybe go out shopping later. Would you like to join me?”
You nodded as you plated the food, setting it on the counter in front of him.
“That would be nice, thank you. Is there anything you would like for me to do while I wait on you to finish up in your office? I can fix you something to snack on or to drink and bring it in to you.”
Ravi glanced at your in surprise. After last night, you were like a complete one-eighty in personality.
“Uh, yeah that would be great. Just some snacks and maybe a club soda. You can bring it in whenever you want. I plan on leaving around four, do you think you can be ready by then?”
Your took a bite of your breakfast, nodding your head in agreement.
“I will make sure I am ready in time. May I got take a shower please?”
He nodded as he ate and read the paper, looking up at you with a quick glance.
As you passed by him, you placed a kiss to his cheek, letting your fingers lightly scratch across his back as you left.
Your showered, then dressed in something comfortable. You laid out a nice casual outfit for later in the day. You set about fixing your hair up, the way he liked, and put on just minimal makeup. You then headed downstairs, fixing him a meat and cheese plate with a drink on the side. You carried it to his office, knocking on the door before entering.
“I brought your snack plate and drink for you. Do you need anything else?”
Looking up from his laptop, he smiled at you. He was beginning to get a bit concerned at the way you were acting, but he couldn't figure out why you were being so nice.
“I tell you what. Why don't you see if you can get that manicure at the salon I picked you up from, when you didn't get to finish. I can call my driver to take you and pick you up.
Ok?”
You could use a pedicure, but you had other thoughts in mind.
“That's okay, I can get it at the salon another day. I'll just be around here in case you need anything else. Just call me if you need anything.”
You turned and walked out, stopping to smile at him as you left. Your headed upstairs, stopping by the door that led to his playroom, and you instantly knew what you wanted to do for him. You laid out a few items that you thought you would like to try, and then went to your room to change. You choose the black lace and satin teddy he had picked out for you, leaving the panties off. You walked back to the room and shut the door. Taking the handcuffs from the shelf, and the strap from the table, you set them on the small bed beside you. You cuffed your ankles to the bed, then hooked one cuff to your wrist before you sent a message to Ravi.
Could you please come to the playroom? I heard something inside, and I would like you to check it out please.
You waited for a response, your heart beginning to race in anticipation. Finally he responded.
On my way.
You set your phone on the ground, then cuffed the other wrist behind your back. You were sitting on the small bed, your back to the door, and your head hanging down. Your took a deep calming breath when your heard feet climbing the staircase. You sat up as straight as you could, all the while maintaining a submissive demeanor.
“Y/N, what's going-”
He went silent at the sight presented before him. There you were, in a submissive position, waiting for him. You kept your head low when you spoke to him.
“Ravi, would you please teach me? Teach me how to be submissive for you.”
Ravi swallowed hard, not knowing what to say or think. You had presented yourself, willingly, for him. He walked to the front of the bed, coming to stand mere inches before you. He tangled his fingers in your hair, tugging backwards so you were forced to look up at him.
“Y/N. Why are you doing this?”
“I want to be the perfect submissive for you, Ravi. I want to show you that I can be what you want.”
“You sure you're ready for this?”
Bringing your eyes down to the floor, you whispered softly.
“Yes, Sir, I am sure.”
Ravi eyed what you had laid out. The strap, a blindfold, and a choker were lying beside you. He reached for the blindfold and placed it across your eyes, tying it in the back securely. Your head stayed down, body buzzing as your prepared yourself for anything.
You could feel the cool leather collar being placed around your neck, could feel the firm pressure as he tightened it just enough. Goosebumps formed over your entire body as he ran the top of the strap down your spine, then over your shoulder and down the front of your body between the valley of your breasts. It trailed down your stomach, then to one of your thighs. He used it to spread your legs apart, tapping on the inside of your thighs. You opened your legs, exposing your unclothed pussy. There was a brief absence of touch, then your heard the distance swish as the strap came down and smacked your inner thigh with a sharp sting. You bit your lower lip, restraining from crying out. There was a caress of the cool leather as it covered the other leg, again a slight reprieve then another sharp sting as it landed on your inner thigh again. You couldn't help the small whimper you let out, tears fighting to fall from your eyes. You fought them back, determined to be what he needed you to be.
He slapped your thighs a few more times, always caressing the tender spots with his hands before repeating the slow torture. You kept yourself in position, waiting for him to move you with either his hands or the whip. One you're thighs were a soft and tender pink, he set the strap down, then took the hook of the choker in his fingers, pulling you up to your feet.
“Y/N, are you sure about this?”
You just nodded, your senses focusing on him. Your were sure he couldn’t see the glistening of the tears ready to spill at any moment, but still you kept your composure. Walking you over to the hanging chains, he hooks one end to the choker, keeping you in place. Undoing your handcuffs, he lifted both arms over your head, hooking them securely to another chain. Your head was held up by the choker's slight pressure against your throat and your suspended arms.
Ravi walked around you, raking his gaze over your body, the sheer teddy being the only thing covering your body. He used the strap to lift the hem, bringing your bare sex into view. He ran the end between your legs, grazing over your clit with the tip. You gripped the chains at the sensation. Even in this bare and vulnerable position, you were very aroused. Your juices already dripping down your inner thighs.
Being blindfolded heightened your other senses. Your could hear him when he moved away from you, could feel his hot breath on your flesh when he came close to you.  You felt him come up behind you, his hands coming to encircle your waist. Bunching the fabric of your teddy in his fingers, he pulls it up over your head then behind it. Your were completely exposed for him.
Ravi walked around till he was facing you, your naked beautiful body on full display for him. Taking the strap, he began placing light smacks across your skin, never in the same area twice. You were a writhing mess, the sting of each tap igniting a fire in your gut. Suddenly you were bereft of any touch, cool air wafting over you as you turned your head in search of sound.
Then he was there, lifting you by your waist off the ground. Your legs wrapped around his hips instinctively as he dropped you down on his cock with force. You screamed out.
“Ravi! That's it baby. Take me, use me, I'm all yours.”
He began thrusting his hips into you, driving his cock deep as he stretched you in a delicious way. Your fingers gripped the chains over your head, the cold metal digging into your palms. Your body was bouncing up and down as he took hold of your hips and guided the fierce pace he set.
“Shit! Y/N, you are so good for me. I can't get enough of you baby! So fucking good.”
Your legs gripped his waist tighter, pulling him to you as you felt him twitch inside your walls. He was close, you could tell by the way his hips began to falter in their onslaught.
“That's it's Ravi, cum for me, fill me up, baby. Make me cum all over that cock of yours. Show me who I belong to, Ravi.”
His fingers dug into the soft meat of your hips, pain shooting through you. You felt the warm stream of his cum coating your walls as he held you in place. Your name dripping like thick honey from his lips.
White flashes of light filled your vision as your own orgasm tore through you. Your walls clamped tight around him, your body nearly convulsing as he rode out his release with you. Your head fell forward, resting on his shoulder as he unhooked the cuffs and your choker. He held you up until your were able to stand on your feet. Releasing your wrists from the cuffs, and unlatching the choker, he guided you to the bed and laid you down.
“Thank you, Y/N. You were a very obedient Sub. I will reward you when we go out today.”
“I'm happy that I was able to please you Ravi.”
He kissed you tenderly, then went to the door, opening it as he waited for you to join him. He led you to your room, going to the bathroom to start you a shower.
“Get cleaned up and ready to go out.”
He dropped a kiss to your hair, then left.
You smiled to yourself, content and pleased that you had satisfied a need for him.You took a shower, your hands tracing the tender areas where the choker and handcuffs had been. Closing your eyes, you allowed your mind to revert back to what had just happened. You had willingly presented yourself to him in the hopes that you could prove to him that you could be what he needed. When the water began to run cool, you stepped out, drying off and wrapping yourself in a large towel. Making your way to the bedroom, you slipped on the simple dress you had laid out earlier and fixed your hair and makeup. Grabbing a pair of small heels, you made your way downstairs, standing at the bottom to wait on Ravi. After several minutes, he made his appearance, stopping at the top to look down at you. He was dressed in simple dress pants and a button up shirt. He looked amazing, even when he was dressed casually. He smiled at you, then made his way down the steps, coming to stand in front of you.
“You look pretty, Y/N. I like that dress on you, you need to wear that more often.”, his voice was light and soft. Holding his arm out for you, you linked your arm with his, and you both walked to the car. He opened the door for you, shutting it after you had settled in your seat. He walked around the car, climbing into the driver’s seat and starting the engine. You smiled at him, not saying anything until he spoke to you first.
Ravi was still a bit curious as to what changed about you, but he was afraid to say anything. He simply was going to wait to see if you were going to tell him what was making you act so different. He was beginning to miss the spunky strong-willed version of you, something he didn’t think he would miss. Having you like this almost made him a tad uncomfortable. Putting the car in drive, he set off for the shopping trip, looking over at you every so often and waiting for you to suddenly change back into your old self.
The ride was made in comfortable silence, you looking out the window as he drove the short distance to the shopping mall. After parking the car, he went to your side and opened the door for you. He held out his hand for you to take, then closed the door and locked the car.
“Is there anything you would like to look at?” he asked as you walked beside him into the mall. You shook your head no, telling him that you would just do some window shopping while he bought whatever he had come for. After an hour of shopping, you looking at various things while he bought several new paintings and furniture to replace what he had destroyed not so long ago, he stopped by the entrance to a restaurant.
“Y/N? Are you hungry? I figured that maybe we could grab some food before we left.”
“No thank you. But if you want to eat, I would be happy to sit with you.” You told him as he continued to watch you nervously.
“What’s going on with you, Y/N? This isn’t like you.” he had a concerned look on his face as he waited for you to answer his question.
“Nothing’s wrong Ravi.” and technically, nothing was wrong. You had only decided that the only way to get through to him was to be what he needed you to be, his submissive. By being that, you could possibly find a way to get him to open up to you, to let you love him.
Shaking his head, he started walking towards the restaurant, you trailing a few steps behind him. At first he didn’t pay it much attention, but when he went to talk to you, he realized you were not beside him, but behind him. You gave him your best smile, stopping when he did. Ravi held out his hand for you, and you took it without hesitation. Lacing his fingers with yours, he tugged a bit until you were at his side. Sighing audibly, he resumed walking, keeping your hand in his.
Once you were at seated at a table, Ravi and you engaged in small talk about the plans for the rest of the day. He was going to work in his home office for a while when you got back, but asked if you wanted to join him for a business meeting and dinner later that night.
“Only if you would like for me to join you. I could stay behind and have your nightcap and pyjamas laid out for you when you got back, if you would prefer that.”
Just as he was about to speak, the server came and took his order.
“I would like the shrimp scampi, and she would like the salmon cakes, please.” He ordered you food, so you had no choice but to accept it and eat it for him. As soon as the server left, he turned his gaze back to you.
“Dammit Y/N, I don’t know what you’re up to, but I want you to tell me, now.” he had his stern face on, so you obliged his request.
“You took me to be your submissive, am I not correct?” He nodded, still confused.
“I have not been what you were expecting, correct again?” you were looking him straight in the eyes, not once wavering your voice or being sassy with your questions. Again he nodded, leaning back in his seat.
“So why is it then, that when I decide to be what you want me to be, really want me to be, you question it?”
“So, all your doing is giving me what I want. Being a compliant submissive for me, without a fight or without testing your limits? But why now?”
You lowered your eyes, thinking quickly about what you were going to tell him.
“I have not been what you want, yet you have done nothing but give to me and take care of me. I owe you this much, and so much more. The least I can do is to return the favor. Nothing more and nothing less.” you were surprised when he didn’t call you out for lying, which meant you had succeeded at lying to him. Your food came, and you waited for him to begin before you picked up your fork. Looking up at him, you waited for his word that you could start. After he had taken a few bites, he lifted his eyes to see you patiently waiting. It took a few seconds before he caught on to why you were waiting to eat.
“Y/N, you can go ahead and eat. Enjoy, their salmon cakes are delicious here.” he waited until you began eating, then continued eating his meal. You both ate in silence, cleaning your plate and setting your fork down.
“Thank you for lunch, it was very good.” You sat upright, laying your hands in your lap as you waited on Ravi to finish eating. When the table was cleared and the check paid, he led you outside, taking your hand once more so you would walk beside him. Walking back to the car, your eye caught something in a store front window and you stopped mid-step to look at it. It was a simple necklace, a platinum chain with a fire opal heart in the center surrounded by tiny black diamonds. You instantly fell in love with its beauty.
Ravi had turned to see why you weren’t moving when he saw what you were looking at. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth, watching you gaze at something you liked. He gave a pull to your hand, bringing you back to the present.
“Y/N, we need to go, okay? I want to get things finished before the dinner tonight.”
You let your shoulders fall slightly, knowing that you could never afford that necklace, and you weren’t going to ask Ravi for it, after all he had done for you already.
Back at home, Ravi went to his office and you headed upstairs to change. Heading to the kitchen, you poured him his usual afternoon drink and took it to him. He told you to come in when you knocked, his eyes not moving from the screen of his computer. He thanked you and you started to move, but changed your mind.
“Ravi, if you would like for me to join you for dinner, would you please pick something out for me to wear? I will be in my room if you need anything.” you then turned on your heels and went to your room. Today had gone much better than you thought it would, and you found it actually very easy to let him do the decision making and leading. You laid on your bed, curling up with a pillow. You set your alarm to give you plenty of time to get ready for the dinner, if he still wanted you to go. Your eyes closed, and you were asleep in mere minutes.
Ravi sat at his desk, mulling over how you were today. Yes, he did choose you for a submissive, and yes he was happy that you were not giving him a battle of the wills. But, he didn’t like you this way. He like the strong-willed woman that kept him guessing about what was coming next. He missed the passion in your eyes when you tested your boundaries, seeing how far he would let you go before having enough and setting you straight. Pushing the desk chair back, he stood and stretched his limbs. He was not going to get anything more done today, so he figured he call it quits and sit outside to clear his head. When he stepped onto the patio and his eyes landed on the couch, his heart began to race. He was reminded of the night you two had made love on it, and his warning to you about not falling in love with him. That’s when it hit him, what you were possibly doing. You were either giving him what he wanted in order to be close to him, or you were doing it as a way to numb your feelings. This was a one-eighty for you, something you had already told him you didn’t want to do. You told him you needed control over things in your life, so maybe by giving him control, you were doing something you didn’t want to do. Effectively this could bring resentment for him, and you would be able to get over him. He guessed he could be stretching with that thought, but it was the only thing he could think of.
He decided to test his theory and see how far you would take it, letting him control every move you made. Grabbing his phone from his pocket, he sent you a text. He waited for a response, but when he got none he began to worry that something was wrong. He rushed inside and up the stairs. Standing at the top, he looked down the hall to your room, ears straining to hear anything out of place. When he heard nothing, he made his way to your bedroom door, turning the handle slowly and peeking inside. There you were, sound asleep and cuddling with a pillow. He watched you for a moment, mesmerized by your peaceful beauty. There was no pain, no fear, no worry etched in your soft features. Thinking back, that was how he first saw you, hardly a care in the world and the worst thing you had experienced was a bad break-up. How he wanted to go back to that night, and walk away from you. Then you wouldn’t be hurting the way you were now. He leaned against the door frame, continuing to watch you sleep.
A sudden awareness of being watched roused you from your nap, your head raising up to look around your room. Your eyes landed on his lean figure and you sat up. Rubbing at your still tired eyes, you scooted to the edge of the bed.
“I’m sorry I fell asleep. Did you need me for anything?”, your voice was still thick with sleep and he thought about how sexy you were when you first wake up. Hair slightly tousled and your voice a bit scratchy and breathy, was something he liked waking up to.
“Nothing urgent, I was just going to tell you that it’s close to time to get ready and I was going to pick out your outfit for tonight. Would you please start a bath for me? My muscles are a tad tense and I want to soak before I get cleaned up.”
You hopped right up, walking past him as you headed to his room. You started his bath, adding some bath salts for aching muscles. You laid out his towels and made one into a small headrest. You heard him enter his room, and when you finished, you walked back out to meet him.
“Do you need anything else?”, you stood by the door, waiting patiently for him.
“Yes, actually. I want you to help me get undressed and then help me wash my hair in the bath, like you did that one time.”, he was testing you, and you took it in stride. Walking over to him, you lifted your hand to unbutton his shirt. You kept your eyes focused on his chest, avoiding eye contact. You could feel his eyes burning into you, watching every move you made. Once you had him unbuttoned, you slid the shirt over his shoulders and down his arms. You set your gaze on his tattoos, keeping your breathing calm and even. You fingers reached for his belt and unhooked it. Finally you nimbly undid the pants button and zipper. You lowered yourself to your knees as you pulled his pants down over his hips and down his legs. Taking one foot in hand, you lifted his leg and repeated it with the other until he was fully undressed. Taking his hand, you silently led him to his bath as you shut off the water. He stepped in, sinking down until only his upper chest and head were above the aromatic water. You situated yourself on the ledge, lifting his head enough to slide under him. His back rested against your lower legs and his head fell back to rest on your lap.His eyes closed as the hot water relaxed any tired and aching muscles he had. You ran your fingers through his hair, your nails gingerly scratching at his scalp. He was actually purring at your touch as he let you massage his shoulders and temples.
Despite the fact that anyone seeing this would find it very sexual in nature, there was nothing intimate about this to him. You were taking care of him, like he had asked you to, and you were quiet. He didn’t sense any sexual tension in your touch, but only the touch of care and- love. His heart literally hurt as you continued caressing him with such love and care, not asking for anything in return. He held himself at bay, restraining from turning around and pulling you into the tub with him. Any other sub and he would have had her in there from the start. But you were different, you wanted to take care of him, no just be taken care of. The other women knew that he would take care of their every whim, but they never took the time to take care of his whims. You wanted to do it, and he couldn’t understand why. He refused to tell you about his past, yet you still stayed. You were put in a dangerous situation because of him, but yet you didn’t blame him. No matter what happened, you were still there, wanting to be with him.
You took the large water pitcher from the window sill and turned the water back on. You began washing his hair, taking care to keep it out of his eyes. You rinsed it clean, using the makeshift pillow towel to dry his hair. You wet a washcloth and poured his body wash on it. Taking one of his arms, you began bathing him, handing it over to him when it came to washing his front side. Pouring fresh warm water over him, you were satisfied that he was clean. You flipped the drain to empty the tub and you slid out from underneath his head. Grabbing a large towel, you held it opened for him and wrapped it around him after you dried him off.
“I am going to take my shower now, if you don’t mind, and get ready for tonight.” He was staring at you, an unrecognizable look on his face. You stood on your tiptoes, kissed his cheek and left the room. Ravi sat on the chair, body still slightly damp, and laid his head in his hands. He sat there for who knows how long thinking, debating about canceling the dinner meeting by giving them a lame excuse that he was unable to join them. His decision was made for him when he realized that his feet were carrying him down the hall towards your room. He heard the shower shutting off, and knocked on the door.
“May I come in?”he asked softly.
“Yes, go ahead.” you hollered from the walk-in closet. When you came back out, you saw that he was still in his towel and hair still damp and messy.
“Is everything okay, Ravi?”, you were worried by the look on his face. Closing the distance between both of you, you lifted a hand to cup his face. He leaned into your touch, eyes closing as he let out the breath he had been holding.
“Ravi, what’s wrong? Why aren’t you getting ready? Please talk to me.” your heart broke the moment you saw the tears forming behind his closed eyes.A single tear fell and you wiped it away with the pad of your thumb.
When he finally opened his eyes, the were red and full of a myriad of emotions. You wrapped him in a tight embrace, holding on to him like he was an anchor is a stormy sea. You felt his arms engulf your body, holding you close to him. His forehead dropped to the top of your head and you felt the stuttered breaths as he exhaled. You tried to keep you head off his chest, but was caught off guard when he placed a hand to your head and pressed your head to him. He inhaled deeply, his muscles tensing but he didn’t let you go. He spoke into your hair, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Why are you doing this for me? I want to know the real reason, Y/N. You have no idea just how fucked up my past is, but yet you still want to tell me you love me.”
“Ravi, I told you that I would do what I had to in order to get over you. But I am doing this because I want you to know that you deserve to feel loved, to be wanted in a way other than sexually, and that you mean something to someone. You mean something to me. I can’t help that I love you, I didn’t mean for it to happen, I swear. But it did, and I do not regret it one bit. I just wish you felt like you were worthy of having someone love you, despite your past or your current lifestyle.”
He shook his head against your words. He didn’t think he was worthy or deserving. He had kept his walls up for so long that he didn’t know if he knew how to let someone get close to him.
“Look at me Ravi. Really look at me.” You begged him as you lifted your head to see him. When his eyes locked with yours, everything faded away. There was only him, in your arms.
“I’m not sorry for how I feel. I love you, no matter what your past is. There is nothing you can tell me that will change that fact. I love you, and I will tell you that over and over until you believe me.” Tears were streaming down your cheeks but you refused to wipe them away. Pain flickered in his eyes as he watched you cry in his arms. How did he come to care so much about you? When did you get under his skin and give him a reason to care about your feelings? He never allowed himself the luxury of feeling something for someone. So how did you do this to him? He stepped backwards to the bed, pulling you down to sit beside him. Words were coming out of his mouth before he even realized what he was doing, and once they started flowing he couldn’t stop.
“Do you want to know what happened to me? Do you really want to understand why I am the way I am? Why? I don’t want your pity, Y/N, and I know that is what you’ll have for me. I have never wanted anyone’s pity.”
“I won’t pity you, Ravi. I just need to understand why you think you are incapable of loving someone. No matter what you tell me, I will still be here. I don’t want to leave you, but if you want me to, then I will. It kills me to see you so torn and broken, when I am here for you to share your pain with. I want to be someone to you that can understand your pain, and carry part of it for you.”
“I would never want you to feel the pain and anger I feel. It will eat you alive, like it almost did me. It nearly killed me and my anger did drive me to kill someone. Y/N, I have blood on my hands, in every sense of the phrase. It drove me mad for the longest time, and I barely made it back out.”
Ravi took a deep breath. He had started it now, and there was no turning back or stopping. Taking your hands in his, he turned to face you. Panic was written all over his face, and all you could do was squeeze his hands and nod that you were ready when he was. You crossed your legs under you, facing him and giving him your full attention.
“When I was younger, I had a bit of a temper, you could say. I was always getting into fights, for no reason except that I wanted to. It didn’t help that my parents were always fighting too. One night, after I watched my dad beat my mom to a bloody pulp, I thought I was big enough to take him on. Mind you, I was only about twelve, and fairly scrawny for my age. Well, I took a swing at him, catching him in the gut. He stood there laughing at me, telling me to take another swing. I did, but before I could make contact, his hand came flying at me, snapping my head to the side. I went down, crumpling to the floor next to my mom’s unconscious body. Seeing her like that brought a new kind of rage to my mind. I sprang up on my feet, only to have his fist make contact with my face. Each time I would get back up, heading for him again and again. That first night was the beginning of my nightly beating, to teach me a lesson about self control, he said. Funny how my lack of self control was because of his own, but he was going to teach me to have it. I tried not coming home, but he always found me. And each night my beatings were harsher than the night before. The only good thing that came out of it was the fact that he beat my mom less. The bad thing was, I kept going after him, hoping that one day I would be able to take him down. When his buddies came over, drinking until all hours, I tried to stay out of his way. Then one night I heard a few of them talking about my mom, and I heard their bedroom door open through the wall. I sat there silent and still as I listened to my dad tell one of them that they could have her for the night. All of them raped my mom, her cries stifled by her own husband’s hand. I was physically sick, and my rage made me blind. I came barging into the room and saw one of them still on top of her. She was bruised and her face was wet from her tears. I came in swinging wildly, but my dad grabbed me, pinning me against him. He told me I needed to learn to control my anger and accept the fact that I was never going to get him down. Looking over at the other man, he told him to help him teach me a lesson. They took turns hitting, smacking and kicking me. My mom cried for them to stop. I begged them to stop, squirming and twisting to get out of his grip, but it was no use. The next thing I knew, I was coming to on the floor next to my parents' bed. When I stood up and looked at my mom, I knew instantly that she was dead. They had killed her at some point while I was passed out.
I guess shock took over because I simply walked out of their room, not even noticing if any of them were still around, and went to the bathroom and took a shower. I didn’t go back to school, because I knew if someone saw me and dad was arrested, then he would find a way to make me pay for it. I was a prisoner in my home. If I moved wrong I got a beating, if I talked I got a beating. I only ate when he was passed out drunk, and I never talked unless he told me to. After my mom had been dead for a while, he found a new girlfriend and she moved in. She was as bad as he was, making every decision for me. Imagine Cinderella but a million times more horrible. As long as I did exactly as they said, the beatings weren’t as severe. When I was seventeen, the girlfriend decided that my dad wasn’t enough for her, so she came for me. I was full of hormones and even though I tried to fight it, my body reacted of its own free will. She would do things to me, then threaten me with my life if I told anyone. I was so disgusted with myself for even getting hard while I hated the very things she was doing. Finally, I had enough. I was lying on the floor, another beating getting out of control, and I thought that if I didn’t do something, I was going to end up just like my mom, dead and no one would know. I laid there for hours, waiting on them to pass out. I snuck out the kitchen window, headed for the shed and grabbed the canister of gasoline. I threw it all over the house, making sure I covered every room with some of it. Taking his lighter from the table, I started a fire in each room and sat there as I watched the flames engulf them. Their screams rang in my head, but I continued to stare at them. When the smoke became unbearable, I somehow made my way out. I haven’t looked back since. The reason I don’t like having my chest, neck and other areas touched on me is because she would touch me in those places, or my dad would hold me down while she hit me. Every time I am touched in those places, my mind instantly goes back to that time. I will never get my mom’s cries out of my head, never forget their screams as I burned them alive. I swore I would never let anyone have any control over me. Instead, I made sure that I did all the controlling, insuring that I wouldn’t be the vulnerable one ever again. The only person who I ever loved, my mother, died because I couldn’t protect her. I thought that if I didn’t love someone, then nothing bad could happen to them. I would never hurt any of my subs, I know that pain all to well and it is still very fresh in my mind. But I had needs that I needed to have met, and this was the only safe way I felt I could meet those needs and still protect myself from ever getting hurt again. That’s why I can’t love you back Y/N, because if I do, then I’m afraid something will happen to you and I won’t be able to protect you like I couldn’t protect my mom. I don’t want to lose you, so in order to keep you safe and by my side, I have to forget that I want to love you back. I want to love you, but it scares the hell out of me, so I fight it every day. I tell myself that you are better off without it. At least this way, you are still here and I get to be with you.”
You sat there and listened to him tell his story. You wanted to throw up, but swallowed the bile back down. You never let go of his hands as he talked. His tears began falling at some point, hitting the blanket softly. So much hurt in his voice, pain and fear filled his eyes. As badly as you want to wrap him securely in your arms, you didn’t dare move. Raw pain is a fickle thing and you didn’t want to cause him any more than he was already reliving. When he finished, you continued sitting face to face with him, holding his hands in yours while he regained some of his composure. Only when he was quietly sitting and looking at you did you speak.
“If I could take all of that pain away, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you for telling me, for helping me understand. But I still love you, no matter what you have told me. I am still here, right beside you, and I don’t plan on going anywhere unless you tell me to. I will tell you that if you do ever decide to let yourself love me and accept my love for you, I am going to be right here to hear it. I want to be with you despite what you have told me. And you do not have blood on your hands for killing them, you did what you had to in order to survive. Anyone would have done the same thing, I know I would have. Now that I know why your hard limit is what it is, I will do my best to never cross that line again with you. I don’t want to be the cause of your pain if I did it. May I hold you in my arms, please?”
“Please. It’s the only thing I want more than anything right now.`` he managed to say through the tears. You arms slowly encircled him, your body leaning forward. You wanted to be closer to him, but you didn’t want to push him until he was ready. You kissed his head and cheeks, tender loving kisses that you hoped conveyed your love for him. When you shifted to get more comfortable, his hands grabbed your waist, pulling you onto his lap to straddle his thighs. Taking your hands in his, he made you flatten out your palms. Moving at a snail’s pace, he brought your hands to him, placing them on either side of his chest. Fixing his eyes on you, he moved them with such an agonizing pace until your hands were splayed out over the span of his upper chest. You could feel his hands trembling as he held them there. Just as he was about to close his eyes, you began to speak softly to him.
“Don’t close your eyes, Ravi. Keep looking at me. It’s only me touching you, not them. They will never touch you again. I am the only one here, focus on me.” you kept talking to him, soothing words relaxing his breathing and his hands stopped shaking. As each second passed, he was more and more calm. Time passed without notice, the two of you lost in each others eyes.
“Kiss me.” His request was simple, and you wanted nothing more than to give him what he wanted. You leaned into him, your hand pressing harder against his chest. Your kiss was feather light, letting him lead how deep it got. Letting go of your wrists, he cradled your face in his hands, pressing his lips to yours. You parted your lips in a sigh, and he deepened the kiss. Instinctively, your hips rocked against him as you moaned softly into the kiss. Only when you were becoming dizzy, did he finally let you go.
“I love you, Ravi. I want you to believe me.”
“I do, Y/N. I do believe you. I know you love me.”
There was a look in his eyes, an internal battle of conflicting emotions flashing back and forth. He closed his eyes, letting his head fall forward as he took a deep steadying breath. When he looked back up, there was a peace on his face that you had never seen.
“Y/N. I-I.”
“I know Ravi. I know you do.” you knew what he was trying to say, and you wanted to give him an out if it was to hard for him to say. But he shook his head, then covered your hands with his as he held them to his chest.
“No, don’t do that, please. I don’t want to fight this any more. I can’t deny this any longer. Tell me again that you love me. I need to hear you say it.”
“Ravi, I love you. I love you with everything I am.”
“I love you too. Don’t ever stop telling me and I won’t stop telling you, deal?” he gave you a weak smile.
“That's the best deal yet. I’ll take it over any other deal you could offer me.”  You pressed him backwards, falling on top of him as he landed on the pillows. In a sudden flurry of motion, his hands were everywhere on your body. He needed you more desperately than he ever had, and he wanted to make love to you. Not as your dominant, but as someone who loved you. He wanted to express how much he loved you, when his words didn’t seem to be enough.

Can you tell us more about your OCs? How are the OG cast their ancestors? Are Gabi and Sandra happy together now? Married yet? Your OCs are so rad and I love their story
!! AaaaAA thank you!! 😄😄😭😭💟💗💞💘💓💕💘💝 that’s is so rad of you op!!! And I’ll try my best to tell them a bit of their story:
Lemlin is born with a birth defect (underdeveloped elf ears), which makes him unable to receive vibrations (I hc the tip of elf ears are used to detect so) and hear things properly. He doesn’t really want implants and is actually perfectly fine with his disability, so he wears hearing aids instead and elf ears prosthetics just in battle. He had a full-blooded elf brother, Jaqes, who was the son of a wealthy nobleman before the Nobility class was dissolved a long time ago. They have a close and amiable relationship with one another, but Jaqes didn’t know he’s a member of the covert Auxiliary, much less a sharpshooter (which is ironic, because he’s the head of the Central Intelligence Division in there, a mix of CIA and FBI). Lemlin has a variety of friend including both humans, elves, and halflings. He’s really interested in theater, which is actually pretty suitable with his disability (deaf people are incredibly expressive while signing so yea!), and often goes on shows (Gigas goes with him on ocassion. They sorta have a father-son relationship haha). He’s the elf equivalent of 16 (no one knows. They thought he’s 22, it also doesn’t help he has his helmet on all the time). Lemlin is pan-ace. He lives in Milre, Gulfen.
Ian has a very strained relationship with his father (hc is that nearly all who is part of the Elf army are abusive fathers because they didn’t get the treatment they needed at the time), who is at odds with his homosexuality. He doesn’t care though, although at first he inherited his racism. That is, until his sister (Mako) had teenage sex with a human (who broke up with her when she got pregnant), and thus giving birth to a halfling, much to his anger. He’s even more furious with humans over this, but eventually realize his anger was bullshit, especially when his nephew was born. Now he has human friends, a human BESTfriend (Sandra), and is now seatching for a boyfriend (he’s working on it. If they can’t handle his personality they gotta go). Ian is passive-aggressive and sarcastic at times, especially on the field, so it causes great friction among the group, he is also prideful and assured with his great skills and technicality. However for all of his ego, he is a good leader when Gabi is not around and gets the job done, and is incredibly competent at what he do (he’s based on a few teachers and a classmate of mine haha). He’s the elf equivalent of 26, with kinfe skills, mechanic skills, pilot skills, and tactic skills, only second to Gabi (but the gap is still wide). He’s gay. He lives in Gorbon, Windsor.
Gigas! Big and friendly Gigas. He used to live in Ganon’s Gate, and had a halfling bestfriend, that is until said friend was lynched, to his great horror. It leads him to killing someone who went after him, which landed him in jail. Thankfully, Gulfen’s prison system is revised thanks to the King (Trellis. It’s similar to how prisoners are treated in Norway), so his actions are recognized as self-defense. While in prison, someone from the Auxiliary sees potential in him (it helps that he’s huuuuge. Like, 6"10’ huge. I decided that 7 feet is too tall), and thus offers to recruit him once his term is finished. By then, he’s a changed man, learning from experience, books, and stories from the inmates helped him develop a kinder and helpful personality (still cheerful tho. He’s always a joyous and passionate man). He gets into the Auxiliary and was assigned to Lufen, Coco, where he met his wife. It was a celebratio for the end of the great war, and the city was holding a huge banquet (similar to the fiesta of the Philippines where the food is laid out on a huuuuge table), and that’s where he met his future wife, whom he loudly comolimented her cooking (he’s a cook himself). There’s a lot more to his story besides this but I’ll cut it off. He’s the elven equivalent of 36, and is an incredibly strong guy, but lacks any sort of outstanding ability besides that. His personality acts as a great mediator amongst the group, and as a guiding and kind voice to all, and is very friendly towards Theorn. He’s straight. He lives in Coco, Lufen with his son and wife.
Sandra! She’s the physical incarnation of Dumb Bitch Energy (aaaa bit of a self-insert ahah). But by God is she agile and fast. She has 4 siblings (a couple are adopted) and she’s the oldest, her family owning a farm in Lufen. She used to be assigned in Gulfen to detect and neutralize landmines with her dog, until her legs got blown off along with her companion. It devastated her so much, she uses sex to cope (she’s hypersexual, but dw she is working on it). Sandra can a bit slow and dim-witted at times, but has a treasure trove of street smarts with instincts to match and is a friendly person to anyone regardless. She is on ocassion sorta oblivious to the atmosphere, which makes her make a situation worse, but if you direct her on the field, she uses her creativity to do her job efficiently. She’s bffs with Ian, often spending time with one another to the point of a qpr (queer-platonic relationship. THAT close). She’s 23. She’s bi/pan. She lives in a developing town of Lufen.
Theorn, an expert swordsman who is the only person left from the Redbeard warrior clan. He’s still using Leon’s sword, still at good shape, at the age of repulsor and stonekeeper tech (which is impractical but he’s still good fighter so they don’t stop him). He was orphaned at a young age, but developed a strong moral code regardless and became a police officer in Kanalis as a result. He got tangled in with the Auxiliary when he gets out during a lockdown (upon which all citizens goes underground for safety) to help people when the city is attacked by a rogue mountain giant, and sees Gabi slaying the thing and encountering Ian (who is in a different squad from Gabi. This is so long ok), which he is not meant to do or see, as the Auxiliary’s existence must be kept secret. He and Ian fights but they were toe to toe when it comes to close combat, they knock him out and takes him to the Hexagon (Auxiliary HQ) with the intent to wipe his memory of the event, to which he simply pleads to join, feeling he’ll be able to contribute more. Now he’s in a squad of the weirdest, egoistic people he’s met, and although looking serious, is absolutely at a loss of words at the Auxiliary’s odd happnings and morbid humor (heard soldiers develop nihilistic and fatalistic sense of humour once), but deep respect at the fights and sacrifices that they do. His lawful, goody-good personality is often at odds with the group (he’s kind of the prim and proper guy while these dudes… Can be wacky at times), to his great frustration, with Gigas the only person taking him seriously. He is at most odds with Ian (haha sexual tension everyone?) and with Gabi’s chaotic neutral/good personality. He is still good friends with them tho and cares about their sakes. Theorn is still a reliable and the most trustworthy guy of the group, and although his skills are nowhere near outstanding outside parkour, hand-to-hand combat and swordplay, he is strong, fast, and agile in his own way. He’s 24. Theorn is bi/pan.He lives in Kanalis, Windsor.
Gabi. Hot-headed, incredibly petty, batshit strong and skilled Gabi. She follows her own moral code, and is often at odds with the authority at Auxiliary and her own squad until she realizes her toxic attitude aint shit and changed. Now she’s the most serious of the group, but at least reasonable. Has a very fucked up sense of humour and hates Theorn’s personality (cop-convict anyone?), but ultimately came to resoect him for insisitng on doing good in a shitty world. Has a serious crush on a developing artist, who was pretty nice and her cheerful and lax personality helps her feel safe and comfortable, helping her develop social awareness and skills. She is in fact, not in a relationship with Sandra (not her type). Her crush used to have a crush on someone, but eventually stops and slowly has a crush on her (not that she knew. She was p much resigned to unreqruited love). But like her, her cursh has a deep set of mental issues, leading her to fall into depression and neglect, making her unable to work on her recruitment piece for Gulfen’s Institution (which offers free tuiton to its students should they oass and it’s a great school). Gabi then often breaks out of the Auxiliary without permission and during vacation months to take care of her recovery (it started when her mother beat her up in her OWN home, an small dilapilating apartment, making her feel paranoid and unsafe. It ignited old self-loathing and unwavering sadness yet again). She eventually gets better, and gets accepted, to the duo’s happiness. At a celebration party, she takes Gabi as her plus one. As they dance, Gabi finally confesses her feelings, which her crush actually reciprocates. They then starts a happy and healthy relationship. She the elven equivalent of 25. She’s a butch lesbian and lives in an unspecified part of Gulfen. Did I mention Gabilan is her pops
Ravis. He, him/they, them. They think idealistically on ocassion, even ny Theorn’s standards so the squad is kind of exasperated with him. It doesn’t help he is more naive and inexperience in comparison to them (yes, even Lemlin), with a good childhood to boot (in comparison to theirs) so it took quite a long while for them to warm up the guy. Ravis used to have a happy and healthy childhood in Lucien with his mother, and his father working abroad in Gulfen, but visits them very feequently. It all changes when the King suddenly (tw: suicide) committed suicide (?) (they never found the body), plunging the Elf nation into chaos and government shutdown affecting their lives outside Gulfen. They continue on regardless, with their mother ending up as a widow, and they studied to become one of the leading pioneers of Alchemy, under their mother’s tutelage. They then studied combat under three teachers during their teen years, and in nearing the end of their third term, theur mother is afflicted with an unprecedented terminal illness, and dies. Even though they are of age, they quietly move into the North East of Gulfen, in a remote village where they work as a healer. Needing his intelligence, the squad was sent over to recruit and escort them, in order to investigate a chemical used when an attack on the Border Guard occurs, leading to a breach and thus ending the 500 years of the Gate being infallible. They nevertheless have a compassionate and empathetic nature, driven to help others especially those in need. He is quite well-spoken and intelligent, and has good social skills. Oddly enough, he doesn’t really have friends until the squad. They’re the elven equivalent of 20, and is a certified doctor.

Chapter 29: Doing something sweet
“Not yet, slug.”
“Why not?” she complained, pouting.
“Because I don’t want to. And less talking and more staying still,” he ordered as he pulled her hands once again, tying them with the looped rope in his hands to perform a single knot. He could do intricate loops with his eyes closed, always with the perfect amount of tightness, not really worried about messing up in any way. He could always cut them with his claws.
Yako supposed that it was a perk of having a demon boyfriend.
“What are going to do toda-?”
“No talking,” he interrupted her as he finished the last knot and cut the rope, his sharp eyes analyzing his work.
“But-”
In a swift movement he silenced her with a kiss and pushed her back to the bed before she could register what just happened.
“Hey!”
“Turn around.”
With a dramatic sigh she did as was told, not really trying to be mad at him. Both knew that she trusted him not to do anything potentially dangerous and that she lowkey liked when he was all bossy in this situations.
She hummed a tune as she felt his hands work on her ankles and knees, letting herself feel the subtle caresses each time he lifted them to loop the rope around her soft limbs. It was a language they both talked between them, no words needed when your mate could see your intentions in your eyes. Each time he planted a soft kiss on her feet or on her thighs, she knew he loved her without needing him to actually say it. Her initial fears of being trapped in a one-sided relationship were vanquished after she learned how to speak without words and understood every action the demon did around her.
It was sweet, in a way, to share a secret language with your significant other.
“Don’t fall asleep on me, louse,” Neuro pinched her butt and Yako jumped on her place on the bed.
“I wasn’t sleeping. What a way to kill the mood,” she grumbled the last part to the mattress.
“I heard you.”
***
Several minutes later the human found herself completely immobilized in a kneeling position that wasn’t new for her. Her wrists were tied together and to a long rope that went all the way to the ceiling, her ankles tightly attached to her thighs so that her legs were forced open over the soft fabric of the bed.
“You are being pretty unoriginal today,” she commented.
“Keep talking and I’ll gag you,” Neuro answered taking a step back to admire his handiwork. Yako was giving him the full view of her pink lace underwear that matched the negligée, a damp spot in the center of the cloth. Her tied hands were over her head, curving her body in a delicious way.
“I thought you said you wanted to hear me,” she retorted and turned her head as much as she could to give him a tantalizing look. Neuro cocked an eyebrow.
“Oh, but I do,” he approached her and stood in front of the bed in a spot where she couldn’t see him. That’s why, when he gently placed his fingers on her burning pussy, she made a little surprised sound.
But he didn’t stop there. He pressed a finger in the covered private place, smiling as the human squirmed trying to close her legs but being unable to. If she tried to move an inch he pressed even more on the spot and she wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction, at least not so soon.
“Stop that,” he reprimanded, his other hand caressing softly upwards over the fabric of her clothes, “you know we both like your sounds.”
She refused to answer, choosing to close her eyes instead and letting herself feel the distant touch of her husband on her sensitive skin (probably because of the overload of demon energy on her system). She wished she didn’t have the negligée on and that Neuro didn’t have gloves on. Sure, his claw-like nails would hurt and pierce her skin, but his hands were warm and deliciously rough, and she enjoyed them very much when he decided to rid of the clothes that covered them
And without her realizing, the demon did just that. Neuro slowly lifted his other hand so he grabbed her hips with little pressure, just enough to pull up the silky lingerie that covered his wife’s back and revealing healed skin without any mark on it, at least not from a wound of his making. Sometimes he stopped to recount the ones he recalled from their early detective adventures, tracing the constellation they did among her natural beauty marks; but today he decided to take a different approach. Not that he didn't adore his wife's body any less.
With his teeth he took off one glove as he used his other hand to keep the back of the negligée up near her shoulders, unceremoniously placing his inhuman claws on her soft skin and marveling at the texture. Yako usually complained that this was ticklish, but so far she hadn't made a move to avoid him. He took her soft sigh as a signal to proceed and caressed her back with a little bit of pressure, just enough to make her feel the edge but not draw blood.
“Hm,” she closed her eyes and straightened her back, barely pressing herself against the claws on her skin.
Neuro frowned and tried again, putting slightly more force on his hand, this time drawing a thin line of blood in a superficial wound that he could easily heal… but that this time seemed to heal itself.
“Does that feel good?” He asked softly, trying not to break the mood.
“Hm… yeah,” she said, her eyes still closed. “A bit ticklish still, though.”
This made the demon stop in his tracks, knowing now that something was off about his mate. She couldn’t heal herself before, not even a tiny cut on her lip, so this new development caught his attention in a lot of ways.
This could change everything!
“Tell me how this feels,” he instructed before proceeding to dig his claws on her skin, making the blood flow.
“I can feel the pressure,” she turned her head to look at him, “but it doesn’t bother me much. Why?”
“Good,” he ignored her question and moved his hand down a bit, opening a wound that was deep. In another time he would feel bad for hurting her like this, but the slash started to close itself not a second after he moved. And Yako shivered under his hands, suppressing a moan. He arched an eyebrow.
“What - What are you doing?” she asked and tried to look at what his hands were doing to her skin, catching a glimpse of red. “Is that blood!?” Yako trashed on her binds. “What the fuck, Neuro!”
“Calm down, slug. You didn’t feel anything, right?” Neuro hastily said, one calming hand on her hip to stop her from hurting herself.
“But-!” she was interrupted when he dig his claws on her skin once more, this time somewhere near her elbow where she could see, sending an electric current to her core. It felt like when he touched her boobs, but weird. It was like her whole skin was full of nerves, ready to send mixed signals to her brain. Pain wasn’t pleasure, at least not like this, right?
“You like this, don't you?” he smirked, bending down to lick some of the blood that was oozing from the already closing wound. Once he cleaned her skin, he pulled back and watched in awe how her back was as soft and milky as it has always been, not a single mark of what he did on it.
“I.... I- I do,” Yako whispered, looking elsewhere with a blush on her cheeks. Damn her and her sub instincts!
“Do you want me to keep doing this?” he teased her back with the tip of a claw, this time carefully drawing swirls and circles on it, with a hungry look in his shining green eyes. She knew what he was thinking. He always had to keep himself in check so he wouldn’t do anything unnecessarily painful to her. They always had to stop before she was seriously hurt, and it always marked a limit in their sexy times.
But such a restrain wasn’t there anymore. Ironically enough, with her hands tied above her head, Yako felt liberated. Free. She wasn’t human anymore, and the differences between her and her husband, her mate, were minimal.
On the back of her mind she remembered the words on the Advanced Book of Spells, saying that on the mating night, the human was at the peak of demon condition. She wouldn’t be able to be like this anymore, she wouldn’t be this close to what could be a full sexual experience with Neuro, the demon.
The answer came easily to her.
“Yes. Let’s do this.”
***
At first it has been scary, facing the pain as a source of pleasure. She had never experienced pain this way, not like something she could analize in her mind and forget the bad that came with pain. She didn’t even had to make a conscious effort to enjoy it!
They started easy. Neuro took out one of the toys he brought from the World Above, a flogger, and gave her a few tentative flicks with it in different areas, asking which one she liked most. The-not-so-human-anymore Yako bit her lips waiting for the pain… that never came.
She couldn’t help herself, she laughed at the absence of the thing that scared her. It wasn’t on purpose, she swears, she just felt high in the realization.
“What are you laughing for, slave?” the demon caught her jaw in his still gloved hand and made her look into his eyes. She bit her lip and smiled with the remains of the laughter in her system, her eyes swirling with a shine of her own.
“Nothing,” her voice came a bit weird as she couldn’t open her mouth very well.
“Is this funny to you?” he looked down at her with disdain, but there was a slight smirk on his lips. “Being punished brings you joy?”
“Uh-huh,” she wanted to shake her head.
“Silly girl. Lying to me is of no use. I thought you knew that already.”
“Whatever you say,” she wanted to roll her eyes for a better effect, but she found herself then attacked by the demon’s lips, who was demanding her whole attention and her body as well by the way his hands found their place on her bottom. “Hng!” she yelped in surprise at the feel of his tongue forcing its way on her mouth.
She didn’t know what to focus her mind on, the way his tongue was ravishing her mouth and his sharp teeth bit her just in the right places; or how his hands gripped her butt with so much force that they pushed her up until he was the only thing taking her weight.
She fought back for freedom, at least as much as you could when you couldn’t really move, trashing her head to the sides and pushing back his tongue with all her might.
“Ungrateful slave,” he whispered with his lips barely separated from hers. She took the opportunity to take a deep breath.
Then, she laughed again and bit him in the lips.

INFINITE SHADES OF GREY :  A tribute to Hemant Kumar on his 100th birthday

Flashback of my long meeting with Hemant Kumar 34 years ago
by
Tumblr media
Raju Korti
Tumblr media
After years of longing, I finally managed to catch up with legendary composer, singer and producer Hemant Kumar in 1984, just five years before he passed to leave an unfilled vacuum. He was well past his prime then but his composing and singing instincts were as impeccable. As a keen devotee of film music, thanks to those golden fifties, sixties and early seventies, I nursed an abiding regret of not being able to meet the man about whom I had read and heard so much. As I write this blog, there is a tangential satisfaction to that anguish that it is better late than never. I have no answer to why I didn't write about the intensive interaction I had with him all these years but as an apology of a consolation, I am happy that this blog coincides with his 100th birthday today (June 16).
I will never forget the long, searching look Hemant Da gave me when we met. Dressed in white pyjamas and a long kurta, his six-plus feet lanky frame towered above my diminutive 5-plus feet. Having recovered from an acute heart condition, he looked pale, drawn and weak. Apparently, he was incredulous that someone who had just stepped into his thirties could even think of talking to a veteran who was been-there-done-that. I had to pull myself together before I lent credence to his apparent misgivings. He was accompanied by playback singer Aarti Mukherjee (of 'Saara mora kajra chhudaya tune' fame) who did not take any part in the three-hour conversation except occasional nods and smiles. "Hemant Da, they always talk about the two faculties that you straddled so brilliantly -- as a composer and a singer. So who's better between the two?" I asked him. "I can't put my finger on any one of them. Both are an inseparable parts of my musical instincts. Although, I began as a short story writer, my mind was into music. So I quit Engineering despite vehement opposition from my father. Mind you, one of my short stories won critical literary acclaim when I was barely sixteen but I was prepared to chuck that talent for Rabindra Sangeet." Hemant Da's predilection towards his passion was right on target as within a year he became a singer for All India Radio, his deeply baritone vocals tailor-made to take on the depth of Tagore's compositions. "In those days, my singing hero was Pankaj Mullick and I use to ape him so well that I was nicknamed Chhota Pankaj. But beyond this hero worship, I regret I could not get my teeth into rigorous classical music. It is a regret I will carry to my grave," he said. Having followed Hemant Da's career closely, I could see that the lack of adequate classical music -- by his own admission -- was no handicap, especially in films. In the early forties, his contemporary was King Talat Mehmood whose chaste Urdu diction and rendition of ghazals had made him a darling of the masses. Mohammed Rafi, who later went on to become the premier singer of the industry, was just struggling to gain a toehold while Mukesh had just got going. Kishore Kumar was nowhere on the scene. As someone carrying the stamp and legacy of Rabindra Sangeet, Hemant Da found himself at variance with the genre of film songs. That, however, wasn't a handicap as he had the prime examples of Sachin Dev Burman and Salil Choudhury, both Dadas in every sense of the word. Another Dada was in the making to join this exalted company. "It was in the early forties that I hitched onto the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA), a Left-leaning  body which had composer and song writer Salil Da as one of its mainstays. I was in the midst of some musical greats and it was particularly satisfying that Rabindra Sangeet was a common chord that ran through us," Hemant Da recalled. "I wasn't doing badly at all, composing for Bengali films, but when Filmistan made Anandmath in 1951 and I was asked to compose its music, I decided to explore Mumbai, the Mecca of film music. The film was a moderate success but a then raw Lata's Vande Mataram struck perfect patriotic notes and made people sit up and take notice. Then came Shart where I did my own bidding with Na ye chaand hoga." "But wasn't this a turning point for you? Dev Anand happened," I asked him. "Na ye chaand hoga was just the platform. Ye raat ye chaandni (Jaal), Chup hai dharti chup hai chaand sitaare and Teri duniya mein jeene se  (House No 44), Hai apna dil to awaara (Solva Saal) and Na tum hame jaano (Baat Ek Raat Ki) happened because Burman Dada was convinced I could fit on Dev Anand's lips," Hemant Da reminisced, pointing out that in the years to come, he steered himself with his own talent through Naagin, Duniya Jhukti Hai, Bees Saal Baad, Bin Badal Barsaat, Kohra and Anupama. The interesting aside here is this was the same Burman Dada who before being a guide to Hemant Da was contemplating to quit and go back to Calcutta because the scene in Mumbai didn't appeal to his Bengali ethos. Such was Hemant Da's unflinching belief in the potential of Rabindra Sangeet that in those days he was considered as only next to Mullick in the intricacies of that genre ahead of seniors like Burman Dada and Salil Da. This hierarchy was also with its anomalies. Burman Da understood little or nothing of Hindi. He needed to understand the mood of the song and its words written in Bengali before he could employ his compositional genius. Hemant Da was in comparison much more comfortable, having come from the Hindi hinterland of Benares. He was also very much in tune with the musical philosophy of Salil Da and although it didn't show much in his (Hemant Da's) compositions, he had as much flair and understanding of the symphonies, notably among them being Bach. Naagin made Hemant Da a household name. For many, that was no big surprise as composer Ravi who he assisted for many years, told him that given his talent, it was time he started going his own way. The film's feet-tapping music with a string of Lata hits as also his solos and duets, was a revelation as against the three-hour visual atrocity on the viewers. People rather went to 'hear' the movie than 'see' it. The film won him a Filmfare Award. But Hemant Da preferred to dwell on mid-1955 when he sang four solos for the legendary Uttam Kumar. It was the beginning of an enduring friendship and their chemistry showed they were the most poplar singer-actor combination holding an unchallenged sway for almost a decade. Hemant Da lapsed into nostalgia as I mentioned to him that period when he was composing for a lot of Bengali and Hindi films while jealously guarding his roots in Rabindra music. "I was at the peak of my career then as a composer and singer. The best was I was singing for maestros like Nachiket Ghosh, Robin Chatterjee and Salil Choudhury. Some of my songs were remakes or improvisations of the Bengali original. I also hobnobbed with production. Bees Saal Baad, Kohra and Khamoshi were produced by me. Neel Akasher Neeche was directed by Mrinal Sen and went on to bag the President's Gold Medal after an unsavoury controversy." Bees Saal Baad and Kohra forged a wonderful relationship with Biswajeet. After almost an hour, Hemant Da was coming to the perception that for a youngster, I had done my home work fairly well as I mentioned his one song after the other in the course of the meeting. A faint smile creased his face when I mentioned to him that in the bevy of beauties that he sang, my favourites happened to be the 1955 Sardar Malik beauty filmed on Prem Nath 'Mai garibo ka dil hoon watan ki zubaan' (Aab-e Hayat) and a duet with Geeta Dutt from Detective (1958) 'Mujh ko tum jo mile ye jahaan mil gaya' (Fabulous use of Hawaii guitar). He had a word of lament for Mukul Roy, Geeta's brother and the composer of that dulcet duet. "He was such a talented music director and understood the nuances of film music so well but it beats me why his career didn't pick up." In an era when he rubbed shoulders with the likes of Shankar Jaikishen, OP Nayyar, C Ramchandra, Naushad, Madan Mohan, Roshan, Hemant Da did not even once go in for lavish orchestrations. His accompaniments were minimal and the song carried itself on the weight of its sweetness. Hemant Da was particularly delighted when I pointed out how sublime Lata sounded in 'Chhup gaya koi re door se pukar ke' in that obscure film Champakali (1960). He seemed touched when I said it could give Madan Mohan's 'Chaand maddham hai' (Railway Platform/1957) a stiff competition. "I think Burman Dada's influence rubbed off on me. Even when it came to the choice of singers. I remember how he had singled me out to sing for Dev Anand when everyone else felt that my voice wouldn't suit his persona. See how Burman Da stood vindicated. In my career as composer, my choices have been guided by the demands of the song per se rather than factors like who was lip-synching the song and how many instruments I must employ to embellish it." "You tuned so well with Burman Dada and sang 12-13 songs for Dev Anand. What happened thereafter? I asked him. Hemant Da paused a little but the gentleman in him came to the fore. "I don't know what happened after Baat Ek Raat Ki. He never called and I didn't ask. I didn't think too much about it and got busy with my own work." Was it that on Burman Dada's exacting scale Hemant Da's voice had lost its baritone edge? Unlikely, as you know that the quality of his voice was still replete with the same refined sensitivity. I can vouch as I heard him in flesh and blood. "I used Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar sparingly even at the peak of their careers. For that matter, I sang my own song only when it was absolutely called for. I shared a great working rapport with them and I was devastated when I lost two dear younger brothers -- Rafi and Uttam Kumar -- in a span of just one week. They were giants. Why didn't I work with them more? I loved Rafi's Dil ki aawaaz bhi sun (Humsaaya), Manna's Piya maine kya kiya (Us Paar), Mukesh's Woh tere pyaar ka gham. Even an otherwise exuberant Kishore was polite when he teamed up with me. He knew exactly what I wanted to deliver in Kashti ka khamosh safar hai (Girl Friend). I have memories of Rafi walking up to me and wanting to know the pronunciation of some Bengali words before he sang those songs. He was one singer who knew how to use the mike well -- like when to sing from the throat and when to sing from his navel." For all his modesty, Hemant Da could run a quick temper at times and did not hesitate to mince words. He revealed how he had warned Guru Dutt against the latter's penchant for changing his singers and composers at the last minute, citing the example of the 1962 classic Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam that had adultery as its theme. "I agreed only after Guru gave me an undertaking saying that only I was equipped to handle the music since it was set in the backdrop of Bengal." History was made before it was written. For a man on whom the Government of India issued a stamp posthumously in 2016 and had won a spate of awards and recognition, including two national Awards, Hemant Da didn't make much of this memorabilia. He never mentioned any of his songs when asked about his favourites. Having refused Padmashri in the 1970s, he also shunned Padma Bushman which was three years after I met him. More than three decades after his death music companies keep releasing his albums, repackaging his old songs. There are dime a dozen who copy Rafi, Kishore, Mukesh and don't admit so but I personally know many who take a great delight in unabashedly conceding that they love to imitate Hemant Da's style but are nowhere near. Close your eyes and hear the Kishore Kumar composed 1964 beauty from Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Mein: 'Raahi tu mat ruk jaana, toofan se mat ghabrana Kabhi to milegi teri manzil Kahin door gagan ki chhaon mein..' It may have been incommoded by KK's own 'Jin raaton ki bhor nahi hai' but has in sharp contrast hope and tranquility that make the song a quintessential Hemant Kumar from a school of music that qualifies to be a university of its own. PS: It needed a Hemant Kumar song for a film to be qualified as 'haunting'. And since the man was too modest to speak about his own songs, I will labour over my favourite HK solos and duets which I am sure might raise eyebrows for skipping songs which have hit higher popularity charts. Partly, my choices are influenced because you don't get to hear them much. So here I go. 1) Mai garibo ka dil hoon watan ki zubaan (Aab-e-Hayat/1955/Solo) 2) Mujh ko tum jo mile, ye jahaan mil gaya (Detective/1958/With Geeta Dutt) 3) Aa neele gagan tale pyaar hum kare (Baadshah/1954/With Lata) 4) Baharo se pucho nazaaro se pucho dil kyo deewana mera ho gaya (Fashion/1959/With Lata) 5) Nai manzil nayi raahen naya hai karvaan apna (Hill Station/1957/With Lata) 6) Raahi tu mat ruk jaana (Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Mein/1964/Solo) 7) Dekho wo chaand chup ke karta hai kya ishaare (Shart/1954/With Lata) 8) Zindagi kitni khubsoorat hai (Bin Badal Barsaat/1963/Solo HK version) 9) Jab jaag uthe armaan to kaise neend aaye (Bin Badal Barsaat/1963/Solo) 10) Ye nayan dare dare, ye jaam bhare bhare (Kohra/1964/Solo)

Stay With Me - Demon Leo AU - Chapter 21
Hello!!!!! I thought some of you would like some Demon Leo~ I'm currently on a long-awaited vacation with my parents and I've been working on a few things while relaxing.
I am extending this fic because I still have a bit more of a story I want to tell with these two. This will also allow me to connect Ken and Ravi's demon stories later on.
I hope you enjoy the chapter!
Please let me know what you think!!
Thank you all for reading and sticking with me!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
When you opened your eyes, you saw Leo's ceiling. You took a deep breath just to check that everything was working. You felt alive, at least. You pulled yourself up to a sitting position and moved your limbs to test them. You looked around and saw that everything was how you left it. Ken's gift was still on the floor and the orb that you had used for the wish lay in the the middle. It was no longer glowing and now was black as night.
You jumped when Leo suddenly popped into the room. He immediately made his way towards you and pulled you into his arms. His arms were tight around your body and you couldn't help but cry. He lowered his forehead to your shoulder and turned you so that you were now in his lap. After a few moments, he finally raised his head. He brought his hand up to your face and his fingers gently caressed your cheek. You smiled at him through teary eyes.
"It worked." Leo's voice was shaky and low. It was as if he was afraid to say anything but needed to reassure himself that you were here. His hands roamed your body, checking to make sure everything was alright.
"Does anything hurt? Do you feel okay?"
"Yes, I feel fine, strangely. I know we weren't gone for long but...."
"I know. It feels like it's been an eternity." Leo tapped your nose and you were instantly clean. You definitely felt brand new now. Gone were the dried tears on your cheeks and the rumpled clothing you had been basically dead in.
"Thank you." You wrapped your arms around his shoulders and relaxed against him. Your mind ran through everything that had happened in such a short time and you almost couldn't believe it wasn't a dream. Leo pushed at your body until you were flat on the bed partially beneath him. He just lay there, holding you as close as he could. You lay there in silence, letting your mind slowly absorb the fact that you were alive, Leo was alive, and you were both back together in the forest. After a few moments, you realized that it was especially quiet. You assumed Ken had not returned with Leo.
"Where are the others? Did you bring Sibena?"
"Ravi went back to his wife and Ken is going to keep Hakyeon company for a bit. The lynx is outside." You nodded and he hugged you again. "Are you hungry?"
"Maybe a little." You laughed slightly and then you were suddenly in the kitchen. Leo sat you down in one of the chairs and snapped his fingers. A large array of food lay out before you.
"Leo, I can't eat all of this."
"Just eat what you want. I'll take care of the rest. Hakyeon said you would be tired so you need to eat." He smoothed his hand down the back of your head slowly.
"I still can't believe he did that. Do you think that really was Hakyeon?"
"Yes, it was. It's extremely difficult to impersonate a demon. It really was him. I'm not sure how he thought of giving you his soul but I just wish there was another transfer method." Leo crossed his arms over his chest and pouted slightly. You giggled a bit and shook your head.
"Well, to say that I was surprised is a severe understatement. I will admit that I was terrified at first."
"At first? Not through the whole thing?" He came to sit next to you. "Are trying to tell me that you liked it?"
You stopped and looked at Leo. He was jealous of Hakyeon kissing you to transfer his soul. You shrugged and turned to one of the plates on the table.
"Well......I don't know. It was certainly different."
Black smoke rose from the floor and you looked up to see Leo's hair in all directions and a deadly look on his face.
"Eat."
He stood and the smoke trailed behind him seemingly taunting you. Anyone else probably would have been scared but you saw the love behind that sinister facade. You knew he was battling with his inner demons. On one hand, he was grateful to Hakyeon for giving you a new chance at life and on the other hand, he was dealing with the instinctive rage he felt at someone else kissing you. It didn't matter that it was simply a transfer of a soul. You now felt guilty for teasing him.
Leaving the food for a moment, you walked over to Leo who was now standing at the large window in the living room. His hair was still sticking out in all directions and the black smoke was hovering over the floor. Once you stood next to him you touched his arm and he turned to you. Without saying a word you rose onto your toes and wrapped your arms around his neck. It only took him a second to react after your lips connected with his. One of his hands curled around the back of your neck and the other wrapped low around your waist. Although it had not been long since you both had been apart, he kissed you slowly and thoroughly like it had been forever. He pulled your body flush against his and you could feel the familiar warmth of the black smoke surround you.
*I love you* You smiled into the kiss when you heard his voice in your head.
*I love you, too*
He finally broke away from you and looked at you with a smile on his face. His hair was back to normal now. His fingers moved to caress your cheek and then kissed your lips briefly again. You lowered your head to his chest.
"Will Hakyeon's soul really make me immortal......like you?"
"Yes, Ravi said since it is a demon soul, it doesn't lose its ability to sustain you. You just need to give yourself some time to get use to it."
"Yes, I do feel kind of strange. Like I'm drained or I've been up for a week without sleep." You melted into Leo's body and you were thankful for his support.
"You need to eat. I don't want you collapsing on me."
"Alright, alright, I'll eat." In an instant, you were standing in front if the table again with Leo urging you to sit down. "But I still want to collapse on you later."
"Anytime you want, my dear." He placed a kiss on your cheek and turned back towards the living room.
After eating your fill you took an empty plate and placed different foods on it. You focused mainly on the meats and tried to pack on as much as you could. Once you were finished you wandered out towards the front door.
"What are you doing?"
"I want to feed Sibena. I'm not sure if we will get along but I want to make a peace offering. I promised Hakyeon I would look after her."
"She's a lynx, I'm sure she could find something on her own."
"She can do that later. She was obviously close to Hakyeon and she might be missing him. He said his soul was attached to hers. She's all alone out there." You walked out of the door and spotted the lynx pacing near a large oak tree.
"Sibena?"
The large cat lifted her head but didn't move.
"Come on, I brought some food for you." Sibena looked at the plate in your hands and finally trotted over. Once she was only a couple of feet from you, her pace slowed down and she approached you carefully.
"It's alright. I know you must be missing Hakyeon and I wasn't sure if you knew how to hunt so I brought some food for you. I didn't want you to be hungry." You put the plate on the ground and backed up a little bit.
The lynx sniffed the air and lowered her head to the plate. She took a few bites and then looked up at you.
"I will leave you alone so you can in peace. I know it will take you a while to get used to it here. But I can keep you company. Please eat." You turned to leave and head back towards the house.
*Thank you*
You froze when you heard a soft female voice in your head. Your eyes went wide and you slowly turned back to the lynx.
"W-what.....did you....?"
*You have my master's soul. I am able to speak with you since I am connected to it.*
"Leo..." You had barely spoken Leo's name and he was beside you in an instant. The lynx hissed and took a defensive stance. Leo put himself between you and the lynx immediately.
"What's wrong?"
"The...l-lynx....Sibena.....I can hear her talking."
"Are you sure?"
"Unless I'm hearing voices in my head."
*Of course she can hear me, demon. I would think you would already know that.* The sarcasm that came from Sibena's voice implied that she was not a fan of Leo. Leo turned and glared at the lynx and then turned back to you.
"Are you okay with that? Maybe I can ask Hakyeon if there is a way to turn it off?"
"No! It's fine. I kind of like it actually. I was just startled at first."
"Come back inside. You need to rest and the lynx can eat in peace. I'll introduce her to the forest later."
*I can introduce myself, demon.*
Leo turned to Sibena and started towards her but you stopped him.
"Let her go, Leo. She's still adjusting." You whispered to him.
Leo looked at you and softened.
"Fine." He wrapped his arm around your waist and teleported.
You expected for him to return to to your bedroom but instead you found yourself in his. He snapped his fingers and the lights dimmed.
"Sleep, my love. We will talk more about the lynx later."
"Only if you join me."
"I intended to. A trip to Hell, fighting monsters, and traveling through a dangerous forest is quite enough for me for one day." Leo crawled into the bed with you and pulled you to his side.
His heartbeat and rhythmic breathing was enough to pull you into a blissful sleep.

Stay With Me - Demon Leo AU - Chapter 20
Okay! Demon Leo!
So, like I said before, this will NOT end at chapter 20. I'm not sure when it will end but we'll see. There's still a few things I want to explore in this world.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter!
Let me know what you think and thank you for reading!!!!
😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
"I'm guessing you have a death wish." Ravi's voice had lowered several octaves and was strained with anger. Looking around Ken, you saw Hakyeon standing in front of Ravi's wife with his lynx pacing in front of her. She looked scared and frazzled.
Ravi let out a shrill whistle and almost instantly, three large dogs materialized in the living room surround Hakyeon and the lynx.
"I mean no harm. I was just using your beautiful wife here as a shield so you wouldn't kill me on site. I just want to talk to you."
"You see, here's the thing. Your mangy cat is pacing in front of my wife and she has fear in her eyes. That alone makes me want to kill you on site." Ravi's deep voice echoed in the house and gave you chills.
"Why does everyone keep saying that? She's not mangy! Sibena, down." Once Hakyeon spoke, the lynx stopped pacing and trodded over to stand next to Hakyeon. Hakyeon waved his hand to Ravi's wife and she was on her feet in an instant. She wrapped her arms around Ravi and he returned the gesture.
"Now, tell me why I shouldn't feed you to my hell hounds."
"I saw what happened.....to father." Hakyeon spoke differently than he had ever before. The maliciousness was gone now but that just made you more suspicious about what he was plotting.
"Your point?"
"Your lovely wife filled me in on what happened..."
"I really don't think anything concerning my wife should come out of your mouth." Another lightning bolt tore through the room and you jumped. Leo placed his hand on the back of your neck.
*It's okay. His lightning can't hurt you. But stick close to me. I have no idea what Hakyeon is up to now.*
**Well......he can't kill me now so....**
*That's not funny.* Leo glared at you but you honestly had no choice but to make the best of the situation.
Just then Hakyeon threw something on the floor that looked like some deformed creature with about 10 legs and what looked like razor sharp teeth. Leo immediately backed away with you in tow. Ravi pulled his wife's arm until she was behind him. Ken teleported to the far corner of the room, shooting the creature a terrified look.
"Damn you, Hakyeon! Why in the hell did you bring a Larking here?!"
"That thing has been embedded in my back for two years! It fell out the moment Leo killed our father." Halyeon looked at the creature as if it would sprout wings and launch itself at him.
The hell hounds that still surrounded Hakyeon growled at the creature. The largest of the three slowly advanced on it and then looked to Ravi for instructions.
"Go."
The hell hound launched itself at the creature and then disappeared with it. Leo visibly relaxed but he kept a tight grip on you just in case.
"What the hell are you talking about Hakyeon?" Ravi was still visibly in a rage. The blue smoke swirled around the room and thunder still sounded off in the distance. The lightning had stopped, thankfully.
"For the past two years, Father has been controlling my every action. Everything that came out of my mouth was him. Every movement of my body was done by him. He was determined to get Ken's gift."
"Do you expect us to believe that?" Leo spoke quietly as if he was still trying to decide.
"You can read my thoughts, brother, so go ahead."
Leo released you but his black smoke stayed curled around you protectively. He eased himself towards Hakyeon, wary. Slowly, he put his hand on Hakyeon's forehead. After a few moments, both demons exhaled as if they had been holding their breath.
"He's actually telling the truth, for once."
"That hurts, brother." Hakyeon smiled ruefully and then his eyes locked on you. You instinctively backed up a step and Leo's smoke now covered half your body. Hakyeon stepped closer but Leo shifted his body to stand in his path. Hakyeon looked at his brother and nodded. "I only wanted to apologize."
"You don't need to be closer to her to do that."
"I suppose you're right. But..."
Hakyeon suddenly teleported, reappeared directly in front of you and grabbed you before disappearing. It happened so fast you had no idea what to do. Once Hakyeon had reached his destination, he released you. You subsequently began to hit him.
"You asshole, I knew you were lying. I thought you couldn't teleport! What the hell are you planning now?!"
"Just relax, beautiful. I promise you'll be fine. I couldn't teleport with that thing in my back. I just need to talk to you without interference."
"Ravi will find us."
"Not for a while. I have my own talents in hiding from people."
"So, talk. I want to go back."
"You used the orb, right?"
"Yes, I used it. It's gone."
"Ravi's wife said you used it to bring Leo back to life.....in exchange for your own."
"Yes." You felt so uncomfortable. You wanted this to end. You wanted to be back with Leo since now you wouldn't have much time with him. You had no idea how long Ravi would allow Leo to stay with you.
"Thank you."
You were stunned into silence for a moment. You stared at Hakyeon for a couple of seconds.
"I'm sorry.....what?"
"Thank you. One, for using it so others can't. Two, for using it to save my brother."
"You're.......not Hakyeon....are you?"
"Yes, I am. Everything before was my father. I had absolutely no control over my actions. You heard Leo earlier. I'm telling the truth."
"Fine, let's say I believe you. What exactly do you want? You could have said all of this with the others around. You knew I used the orb. Your brother is alive and I'll be down here. I missed my chance at happiness because of your father and whoever those witches are posing as my parents."
"I know and I also know it was my father who killed your real parents."
You couldn't stop yourself. Before you realized it, you had brought your fist back and propelled it at Hakyeon's face. Of course you wouldn't make much of an impact on a demon but he did stumble back a bit. It was a small satisfaction. A couple seconds later, you finally realized what you had done and backed up a few steps, unsure of Hakyeon's reaction.
"Don't worry, I won't do anything. I deserved that. I wanted to apologize on behalf of my father but this seems more fitting. If you would like to continue, I won't move."
"No......no, I'm done. I shouldn't have done that. I acted without thinking."
"I did deserve it. I've been following my father for far too long. Once I found our father outside Leo's house I knew something bad had happened. But no one was in sight and I was still barred from the house so I couldn't get in. I came here to find Ravi but only found his wife and the rest you know."
"All of this......death....for a magic demon orb....."
"Ken's magic is very powerful. He can only make one of those with his gifts and when father found out he didn't give it to him, he was furious. He found the witches, gave them the power to change their appearance and went after your parents. But father had no idea that Ken had enchanted the orb so that only a human could use it. Although, I'm not sure he would have stopped even if he had known. Father was never in his right mind."
Hakyeon had somehow stepped closer to you and you hadn't noticed it. Suddenly, he grabbed your wrist. You tried to jerk your arm back but he was too strong. You started to panic and full frantically pull at Hakyeon's hand that wrapped around your wrist.
"Hakyeon, let go!"
"Wait, just--"
"HAKYEON!" Your heart jumped along with your body when you heard Leo's voice fill the room. You had never heard it that loud.
"Shit, I knew that hiding spell wouldn't last long enough." Hakyeon looked at Leo and then turned back to you quickly. A thin veil encased the both of you like a snow globe. You saw Leo run forward but he couldn't break through the barrier. Faster than lightning, Hakyeon's lips were on yours and you were terrified. You tried to pushed against him but you were trapped. You saw a bright light and opened your eyes while still struggling. The light was coming from Hakyeon. You could hear Leo pounding on the glass-like barrier. He was screaming at Hakyeon to release you.
Finally, Hakyeon released you and you almost fell to the floor. Hakyeon kept his hands on your arms to steady you. The barrier lifted and Leo launched himself at Hakyeon. Leo's black smoke trailed behind him as he pinned Hakyeon against the wall by his throat.
"This time, I WILL kill you!"
"Leo, wait." Ravi appeared next to Leo and put his hand on his shoulder. You could barely see Leo shaking with rage but you were having problems of your own.
"Why the hell would I wait? You saw what he was doing! I'm going to kill him!"
"You don't have to.....he's already dead."
"What?" Leo backed away slightly from Hakyeon but he was still upright.
"I...gave....her my.....soul." Hakyeon managed to get out the words between coughing.
"Leo.....," was all you managed to get out before you fell to the floor. Thankfully, you didn't lose consciousness. Leo was by your side in an instant.
"Y/N?"
"I feel weird."
Another set of feet appeared next to you and you slowly looked up to find Hakyeon kneeling next to you. You gasped when you saw his eyes. The bright blue that all of the brothers held was gone, replaced by a dull grey.
"You will be okay, y/n. You'll feel a little weak and tired for a couple of days but then you will be back to normal."
"Hakyeon, I....." Leo had tears in his eyes and you could tell he was struggling with words.
"She deserved it, brother. Take it as my apology on behalf of our father. I'm sorry for the delivery method but there isn't another way. She can go home now."
"What? I can go home? With Leo?" You raised your head a bit from Leo's shoulder and stared at Hakyeon.
"Yes, for as long as you desire. My soul is an immortal one. I have a unique ability to give my soul to someone. I chose you."
"But that means you'll die?"
"Not necessarily. I'll just hang out down here for a while. My soul will manifest itself again. At that point, I will be able to leave."
"How long does that take?"
"About 200 years."
"Oh, Hakyeon, no, that's too long!" You were in shock. He was going to spend 200 years down in Hell until his soul grew back.
"It's alright. Time will fly by. Although, if I may request a favor, take Sibena with you. She'll hate it down here. I think she'll like the forest. She never had much time to run and play while she was with me. She's not a normal lynx. She is linked to my soul. She will live as long as my soul does. She will protect you if you'll allow it."
"Of course, Hakyeon." You tried to smile at him but you were so tired.
"Ravi, will this really work?" Leo looked to his brother.
"Yes, of course. She has a soul now, I can see it. It will take a few moments before it's fully complete. Once it's complete, the soul will go to her body."
Hakyeon sat down on the floor, seemingly exhausted. Ken stepped around Ravi and put his hand on Hakyeon's shoulder. Almost instantly, Hakyeon took a deep breath and he sat up straighter. He smiled up at Ken and nodded.
"Thank you, brother."
You looked at Hakyeon with tears clouding you vision. "Thank you, Hakyeon."
"You are very welcome."
All of a sudden, you disappeared.

“Hey, time to wake up sleepy head.”, you heard him cooing in your ear.
You didn’t remember falling asleep, but you were exhausted. Opening heavy lids, you were met with his beautiful smile. He tousled your hair, tucking errant strands behind your ear.
“Time for a shower. We have things to do today.”, he spoke softly above you.
“What? What kinds of things? Can’t I sleep a little bit longer?”, you groaned from under the pillow.
“Y/N, I said it’s time to get up. Get in the shower and let’s get ready. I’m not telling you again. If I do, then you will be getting your first punishment already.”, he was more stern sounding this time.
When you heard his tone, you sat up, extending aching limbs towards the ceiling. You crawled out of bed, slowly making you way to the shower. The water was already running, steam billowing from the top of the glass. He held the door open, helping you climb inside. Turning you sideways, he placed you under the streaming water, wetting your hair down. Taking a loofah from the shelf, he lathered you up from head to toe, being cautious of your hypersensitive private area and tender breasts. After rinsing you off, he took shampoo and washed your hair, rinsing it completely before stepping around you.
Instinctively you took the loofah from his hands, using his shower gel to lather his body up. You ran your hands over his body, covering almost every inch of his flesh in sudsy bubbles. You handed him the sponge, letting him wash his off limit areas himself. Once you were both clean, you stepped out and wrapped yourself in one of the fluffiest towels. You dried yourself off, using the same towel to wrap your wet hair up in.
“May I get dressed now?”, you asked, standing naked in his room.
“You may. Wear something comfortable, We are going shopping for you today. You will be needing some nice clothes for the more formal events I attend. Then we will be closing the lease on your apartment.”. He told you all of this while he was getting dressed in his walk-in closet.
“Why are we closing my lease? Don’t I need a place of my own, at least for having some me time?”, you whined out loud.
“I have a place you can use if you need to get away for any reason. Otherwise you are staying here. Hurry and get dressed.”
You rushed to the spare room, grabbing a  jumper from your bag. You dressed quickly, taking your makeup bag back to his room. You weren’t sure how fixed up he wanted you to be. So, playing it safe, you wanted to ask him first.
“Do you want me to put on makeup, or go barefaced today?”
When he looked over at you, he was giving you a pleased smile. You loved seeing that smile, they way it made his eyes light up.
“You just need a little bit, you are pretty without it.”
Heading for the bathroom, you finished getting ready. Grabbing your hairbrush, you went in and sat on the bed, waiting for him to acknowledge you. When he did, you held the brush up and shrugged your shoulders.
“Leave it down, I like the way it frames your face. That’s the first thing I noticed about you last night.”
You both were ready to leave. He took you in his arms, planting the simple tender kiss to your hair. You smiled up at him, running your hand down his arm. You felt his muscles twitch slightly but quickly recover. You really wanted to know why he was against being touched, but didn’t dare ask. You both headed for the garage, opting for the red Mclaren 650S this time. Heading out, you asked him where he was planning on taking you. He informed you that he was taking you shopping at Corso Como, Tom Greyhound, and Koon’s. You knew these were all top brand, high priced stores.
“I can’t afford any of those with my salary.”, you muttered under your breath.
“I heard that, and I am buying, so you needn’t worry about the price tags. I want you looking nice when we are out, I keep a high standard of how I present myself. I would like for you to carry that same standard too. Besides you have you clothes from your place that you can still wear.”
Resigning to his statement, you sat back and looked out the passenger window. You thought about all he was doing for you. Was it because he owned you, and wanted others to see that? You thought back to last night, and all the women that stared at you when you were leaving with Ravi. They had an accusing look about them. You dared to ask him about his reputation.
“May I speak?”
“You don’t need to ask me for permission to talk, just make sure I’m not pre-occupied first.”
“Oh, okay. Anyway, I was wondering about something. When I left with you last night, I was getting many stares from other women. Do other people know about your, umm, lifestyle?”, you were nervous and your voice gave you away.
“If you’re asking if they know I have submissives, some do. Those that were glaring at you probably wanted to be in your place. I will handle that next time we go out.”, he glanced at you for a sign that you were uncomfortable with his answer.
You simply glanced back out of the window. So, some women knew about him, and they were still wanting to be his subs? What made him choose you?
“Why did you pick me from all the other women at the club? Why did I stand out?”
He didn’t answer right away, pulling the car into a parking garage and parking before turning to you to answer.
“I actually didn’t plan on ‘picking’ anyone out last night. But, I saw you looking at me when I came in. You were sitting there, blatantly staring at me, unashamed. When I came over to talk to you, you gave an air of defiance. It was that moment, that I decided that I wanted to tame that defiance, show you something new. When we were dancing, you just melded with my body so easily. Then, when you stopped me from leaving your place, led me to break my own rules, I had to have you. That stubborn streak, I want to break it, without breaking you. I know that makes me sound twisted, but I have never had a woman that needs to be tamed, so to speak, they already were. When you agreed to my offer, I knew I was in for a challenge.”
“So, I am just a challenge to you? To see if you can break my spirit without breaking my body or soul? Yeah, that’s pretty twisted. So, if I hadn’t agree, then what?”
“I would have left you, never let you see me again. But, without sounding conceited, I knew you would agree.”
“Oh, really, how is that?”, you gave him a daring glare.
“The way you fucked me last night. You were already compliant. You didn’t try to touch me after I told you not to. You gave yourself to me without hesitation.”
“I was drunk and horny! You were what I wanted, I was compliant because I wanted you. You had no idea I was going to agree to all of this. Neither did I!”, you were screaming at him, your anger rising every second.
“Y/N, if you raise your voice at me, I am going to teach you a lesson in front of every person in these stores. Don’t you dare test me, do you understand?”, despite him being angry, his tone was calm and collected.
The only thing giving his anger away was the twitching jaw muscle. He was eerily calm otherwise, making you reconsider arguing with him. But, you were taken aback by what he said. You admit you were compliant, yet did you honestly think it was just because you needed to get laid? Maybe, just maybe he was right, after all. Maybe you needed someone to break you, mold you, and show you something that could change you. But, could you ever change him? He already broke one rule because of you, could you break him too?
You were silent, not even looking back at him. Without a word, he got out of the car, coming to your side and opening the door. At first you didn’t move. You could feel them, the tears building up and threatening to fall. You cursed yourself, for yelling at him, for letting yourself suffer in a relationship for two years that not once made you feel the way Ravi did in just one night. Ravi held his hand out, yet you couldn’t bring yourself to take it. If you touched him, you knew that the dam would break and you would cry.
Sensing your hesitation, Ravi knelt down beside you, tilting his head to try and look at you. You moved your head, preventing him from catching a glimpse of the falling tears. Taking your knees in his hands, he spun you around, forcing you to face him. When he saw your wet cheeks, he exhaled heavily, running his hand through his hair. Holding your face in his hands, he wiped the tears with his thumbs, pulling your head down. He kissed your forehead, then placing it to his own.
“Y/N, please look at me. I’m not angry. Will you just look at me for a second?”
You shook your head, knowing well that if you did, he would see your pain. You weren’t hurting because of him, you were hurting because what he said was true. You knew that you would agree to whatever he said. He had you under his spell the instant you laid eyes on him. The moment he spoke to you, you were his.
He sat there, crouching beside you, holding your face in his hands. He was telling you to breathe and relax. He just needed you to look at him. Seeing you like this did something to him, made his chest ache. All he needed was to see. He hated hurting for somebody else. He hadn’t let himself care for someone since she had left him four years ago. He made sure he wouldn’t get close enough to anyone to get hurt like that again. She broke him, but after rebuilding himself he wouldn’t be broken again.
But something about Y/N, something tugged at him.
After hesitating several times, he finally pulled you to him, kissing you. He never kissed outside of sex, except for kissing your hair. Kissing was intimate, it conveyed something more. But here he was, kissing you gingerly, tasting tears on your lips. Your hand reached for his face, cradling it to deepen the kiss. He inhaled sharply, his defense mechanisms kicking in, but you didn’t stop kissing him. The kiss was filled with a hunger, a longing need, that you couldn’t control. You felt his body freeze, but you still wanted to taste him, feel him kissing back. He grabbed your waist, gripping it tightly as he fought with his own desire. He had to break the kiss, his brain was screaming for him to stop, to not get caught up in you.
Tearing himself away from you, both of you were gasping for air. Your eyes were closed, still not looking at him.
“I’m sorry that I yelled at you. I will take any punishment you give me, I deserve it. I will not test your limits with me again, I promise.”, you uttered between sniffling back tears.
“I just gave you your punishment. I was being lenient this time, next time I won’t be.”
“Thank you, Ravi, and you were right. I would have agreed.”
“Let’s not talk about this right now. I want you to wipe those tears away, freshen your makeup and let me take you shopping.”
When you did look up at him, he swore he heard a stone falling in the distance.
A stone for building walls, his walls.

TEACHING VIXX - CHAPTER 50 // HEALING RAVI - CHAPTER 10
I am so so so so sorry that this update has taken so long! I wont bore you with an explanation and just get right to it!
Oh! I will be on vacation next week but I have wi-fi and unlimited data so if I have some time to get something out, I definitely will!
Thank you for reading!
I love you all!
Also….THE FANS ARE GOING TO KILL ME IN THE COMEBACK
———————————
You were half-asleep when you heard your phone ringing. Confused, you sat up and tried to figure out where you had left it. You glanced over at Taekwoon, who had stirred when you had moved and was now rubbing his eyes with the palm of his hand. You finally, located the device on the floor next to your pants that had been discarded earlier.
“Hello?”
“Unni! Thank goodness you answered. I need help!” JiYoon’s voice was low, but panicked.
“Why? What’s wrong?”
“The other wolf hybrid showed up at Wonshik’s studio. I think they’re going to fight! Bring Taekwoon, please!”
And with that, the line went dead.
****1 HOUR BEFORE****
Wonshik was quiet as his manager drove to the studio. Occassionally, he would glance over at JiYoon and grin. She knew he was looking at her. She tried to maintain her composure but her pink cheeks were giving her away. It had only taken her five minutes in the car when she realized that he’d probably heard everything she had said about him.
She panicked for another five minutes before concluding that she was kind of glad that he did hear. It was easier than saying it. She knew she should be proud and happy that she had found Wonshik, or rather, he had found her. While she was happy, being able to say it out loud would take a little while.
Soon enough, the manager stopped outside of the studio and told Wonshik to call when he was ready to come back. JiYoon noticed that the window had already been repaired. She followed Wonshik as he unlocked the door and walked in.
As soon as she had cleared the door, Wonshik turned, closed the door and locked it, and proceeded to wrap his warm arms around her. She squeaked slightly in surprise but recovered quickly to return the hug. Wonshik chuckled a bit and squeezed her tighter.
“So you like me a lot, huh?”
Pink dusted her cheeks as he referenced the conversation that she had had earlier. She nodded her head. Again, he chuckled.
“Don’t want to say it?” His voice rumbled near her ear and she involuntarily shivered. When he felt it, he gathered her even closer. “You don’t have to, you know. I know your heartbeat. I can hear it several yards away. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I can hear it change when I’m near you. The rhythm picks up and its not in fear, right?” This time she shook her head.
“Ah, good.” He leaned back to take in her still-pink cheeks and smiled.
“Just so you know, I do intend to take you out on a date. And I most certainly intend to kiss you. When you are ready, of course.” His hand rose to smooth a stray hair away from her face and tucked it behind her ear.
“That sounds…..good.” She smiled up at him and frowned.
“Just ‘good’? Not 'exciting’, 'wonderful’, or even 'great’? Hmm, maybe I should rethink all of this.” He was teasing her. And she loved it.
“All of those. And more.”
“Well, then, thats….good.” He winked at her and smiled. “Any idea of what you want to do?”
Before she could answer, Wonshik went deathly still. A low growl sounded from his chest and his arm became a steel band around her waist.
“Wonshik?” She watched as his eyes slowly turned red. She jumped when a knock sounded on the door outside. This only resulted in Wonshik’s growling to intensify. Curiousity prompted her to try to look out the window but Wonshik’s arms tightened. His shoulders hunched foward, effectively caging her in with his body.
“It’s him.”
That was all he said. It took her a second to realize that he was talking about the other wolf he had mentioned before. The same wolf who had broken the window and tormented him all those years back.
She understood his actions perfectly now. He was behaving how any hybrid would, if one was in the presence of someone they considered their mate. She would have to blush over that later. Right now, she had to stay close to Wonshik.
“I’m right here. Just calm down.” She fully wrapped her arms around his waist and he seemed to relax slightly. But, he was still on the defensive.
“C'mon, Wonshikkie, open up and greet an old friend!” The wolf knocked again and Wonshik tensed, growling again. JiYoon squinted her eyes in anger. He was doing this on purpose.
“Let him in, Wonshik. He wont leave us alone until you do.” Wonshik shuddered against her body and she knew he was fighting the urge to tear the other man apart. She patted his shoulder in an effort to reassure him. “I wont leave your side. Just open the door and see what he wants.”
He sighed and kept one arm around her waist as he reached for the door. As soon as he turned the lock, the door burst open and the other wolf strode happily into the room. Wonshik backed JiYoon away several feet, turning her slightly to where she was half behind him now.
JiYoon gathered Wonshik’s shirt into her fist at the small of his back. Half to settle her nerves and half to make him aware that she was still here with him. Hybrids could be violent if approached by the same species. Wolves even more so because of their natural instincts over territory. Wonshik’s body was tense but she knew he was ready to fight. The difference in body size was in Wonshik’s favor as well. The man who walked in stood about 4 to 5 inches shorter and vastly skinnier than the wolf she was now hiding behind.
“What do you want JooHyung?” Wonshik’s voice was tight and controlled.
“Aw, nothin’ much. Just wanted to see how you’ve been all these years. Made quite a name for yourself with that group of yours. Looks like you’ve even got a little plaything, too, huh?” JooHyung walked closer and tried to peek at JiYoon but Wonshik didn’t back up this time. He didn’t want to give him the pleasure of retreating.
“Is that why you busted out my window?”
“Well, that was just for old times sake. Couldn’t let you get too comfortable, right?”
“Really? And why is that? I have never done anything to you. Its always been you. Why did you come back?” Wonshik kept his voice calm but she could feel the muscles in his arm tensing around her.
“Are you serious? You started everything!” JooHyung’s eyes blazed red and he clenched his fists at his sides. In return, Wonshik pulled JiYoon further behind him and braced himself for an attack.
Scared, JiYoon pulled her phone from her pocket and dialed the only number she knew besides Wonshik’s. Her hand shook as she waited. Finally, the line clicked.
“Hello?”
“Unni! Thank goodness you answered. I need help!” JiYoon’s voice was low, but panicked.
“Why? What’s wrong?”
“The other wolf hybrid showed up at Wonshik’s studio. I think they’re going to fight! Bring Taekwoon, please!”
She didn’t waste any time. She quickly hung up and grabbed Wonshik’s arm again.
“Aw, sweetie, we’re not gonna fight. Me and Wonshik here are old pals. Right, buddy? I’m just here to reminisce about the old days. So why don’t you march that pretty little butt over there and fix us something to drink?”
Normally, JiYoon would have just obeyed. She was used to being insulted and ordered around. Now, she no longer lived in that horrid place and she’d be damned if she go back to that state of mind.
“No.”
“What?” JooHyung seemed genuinely surprised.
“If you want something to drink, go get it yourself, preferably outside.”
“Well, damn, Wonshik. You’ve got you a spitfire. Hey, honey, you got a sister? Or better yet, if you ever get tired of Wonshik, you wanna give me a call?”
Wonshik started towards him, but JiYoon held firmly to his arm. She knew he shouldn’t risk getting into a fight. He didn’t need that type of publicity. Instead, she stepped around Wonshik, even though he tried to move her back.
“No, I don’t have a sister. I wouldn’t introduce you if I did. And I don’t foresee myself downgrading from Wonshik to you in this lifetime so you’ll probably want to forget about that idea. Now, will you tell us why you are here?” Her voice was soft but it held confidence. She was tired of bullies and lowlifes. She’d had enough to last a lifetime. However, it seemed as though JooHyung did not appreciate being talked to like that and his eyes turned an even deeper red.
“Sweetheart, this doesn’t involve you. Unless you want it to then I’ll be sure to give you some nice attention after I’m done with Shikkie over here. Until then, just shut your mouth.” This time, he advanced and lunged for Wonshik. JiYoon quickly moved out of the way and backed up several feet. Wonshik easily dodged JooHyung, who landed ungracefully on the floor. He growled in anger and quickly rose to his feet.
“I don’t get why you’re still coming after me. What in the hell did I ever do to you?” Wonshik instinctively placed himself between JooHyung and JiYoon.
“Are you serious?! You really don’t know?! You started this fight when you took off with the girl I wanted. You knew I liked her. After you took her from me, I never even saw her again. She never answered my calls!”
“I didn’t steal anyone! I barely dated when I was younger. Who the hell are you talking about?”
JiYoon listened intently to the exchange. She realized that she should have known this was over a girl.
“You son of a bitch! HyeWon! I’m talking about HyeWon! I was going to ask her out and then you went and took her to an amusement park!”
“You fucking idiot. Seriously?! Thats what this whole thing has been about? HyeWon is my cousin, you dipshit! I took her out to the amusement park because she was leaving the next day to go to the States with her mom. Everyone knew she was my cousin. Are you really that stupid?”
JiYoon almost laughed at the expression on JooHyung’s face. It was a mixture of disbelief and borderline insanity.
“You’re lying!” JooHyung lunged for Wonshik again but was cut short when Taekwoon burst through the door.
You were hot on his heels and quickly searched for JiYoon. You ran to her and checked to make sure there were no injuries.
“You guys are really loud. I could hear you all the way down the street.”
“Great, the panther’s here.” JooHyung threw his hands up in frustration and backed away slightly. He looked towardsyou and JiYoon and gasped.
“Noona?!”
Your head snapped over to the man who’d been arguing with Wonshik and your eyes widened.
“JooHyung?”
JooHyung smiled and ran towards you. He’d almost reached you when Taekwoon quickly stepped in front of you, cutting off his path.
“Move, cat. This doesn’t concern you.” He tried to slip past Taekwoon but to no avail.
“When you run at my girl it does. Back off.”
“Your–? Noona! Tell me you didn’t!”
You peeked out from behind Taekwoon and smiled. He looked at your eyes and groaned when he saw the green in them. Taekwoon’s green. After the shock wore off from seeing JooHyung again, your eyebrows furrowed.
“Wait. YOU’RE the one who tormented Wonshik all these years?” You fully stepped out from behind Taekwoon and stood in front of the small wolf. “Lee JooHyung! I’m going to beat the shit out of you!”
You walked towards him and started hitting on his arms, chest, head, and anything you could get your hands on. Taekwoon stood in shock of what he had heard and what he was witnessing now.
“Ow! Noona, stop! That hurts! Hey!” He tried to dodge but you landed a lot of good hits. Eventually, the happy exchange between you two was gone and anger replaced it. Finally, he caught your wrists and tried to wrap his arms around you to hold you still. You noticed that his eyes an angry red again and all the happiness he’d had when he had seen you vanished.
“I said, stop!” His voice raised in volume and his hands tightened painfully on your wrists. This only succeeded in pissing you off even more. You slammed your knee into his groin that resulted in him shoving your body back and doubling over in pain. Luckily for you, you landed securely against Taekwoon’s chest. Unluckily for JooHyung, Taekwoon was furious. He started after JooHyung but you stopped him.
“I’m not done with him yet.” And with that you started landing blows again. “I can’t believe you! You were so nice to me! I can’t believe I even liked you! Why would you pick on Wonshik? All because you didn’t get a girl?! Is that why you stopped talking to me? Because I wouldn’t sleep with you?!”
JooHyung stood to his full height which was still only a couple inches taller that you. His hair was a mess and his shirt hung awkwardly off his body.
“Well that doesn’t seem to matter now, does it? Judging by your eye color, it looks like you’ve found someone to take to bed. I had considered giving you a pity fuck because it looked like you were gonna be a prude your whole life. But, no, the reason I stopped talking to you was because I never could get my mind to connect with yours. I needed you as a handler. But it never worked so you were useless to me.”
You could practically feel Taekwoon seething behind you. But, you saved him the effort. You pulled back your right arm and connected your fist with his jaw. It was satisfying to see him end back up on his ass but pain shot up through your hand and arm.
“Ow.” You turned to Taekwoon and showed him your hand, sticking your lip out in a pout. Tears threatened your eyes and you flopped your hand around to try and ease some of the pain. Taekwoon grinned and took your hand, looking it over.
“Its not broken.” He pulled you towards his chest and wrapped his free arm around you. He brought your hand to his lips and kissed your knuckles. You sighed in relief when the pain subsided. “Nice shot, though. Can I have a go at him now?”
“No, just leave him.” You raised your voice so that he was sure to hear. “Now that the misunderstanding was cleared up, he’s going to leave everyone alone now.”
You turned as JooHyung rose from the floor. Wiping the blood off his lip, he chuckled. Your breath left your lungs when you looked at his eyes. They were black.

TEACHING VIXX - CHAPTER FORTY-THREE
I AM SO SORRY that this chapter is so long 😶😶😶
I couldn’t stop writing. Anywho, I hope you enjoy. Next chapter will feature meeting the parents! 😓😓
Ravi’s chapter is up next! Probably in the next couple of days.
Thank you for reading!!
———————————
The apartment was deathly quiet. You were standing at the sink rinsing off some vegetables for dinner when warm hands wrapped around your waist. You smiled at the content feeling it gave you. You dried your hands on the towel next to you and turned in Taekwoon’s arms. As soon as you were fully facing him, he attached his warm lips to yours. He was a bit rougher than what you were used to but didn’t say anything. You thought that maybe he was having a bad day or had too much caffeine. His hands roamed your back and fisted in your shirt.
As the kiss deepened, something sharp pricked your tongue and you jerked back. When you opened your eyes, what stared back at you wasn’t Taekwoon. His eyes had turned completely white and long fangs protruded from his gums. He looked like some different creature altogether. You were too shocked to say anything, you just stared. You tried to get out of his arms by pushing on his chest but it felt like his hands had grown claws and were now digging into your hips. Still, you struggled until he gave an animalistic growl and slammed his hips into yours, effectively trapping you against the counter. This definitely couldn’t be Taekwoon. His eyes roamed over your fave and eventually traveled to your neck. In the next second, he lunged forward and sank his teeth into your shoulder.
You screamed as you shot up in the bed. Your body was soaked in sweat and you were shaking.
“(Y/N)?” Taekwoon’s hand touched your arm and you cried out again, still enveloped in the horrors of your dream. You bolted off the bed and backed away several steps. Taekwoon looked at you and frowned. You could tell he was confused but your brain was still hazy. You saw him slowly come off the bed and come towards you. His hands were splayed out in front of him in an effort to calm you down. Your breathing had become ragged and shallow. You wrapped your arms around you middle to try and control the shaking.
Taekwoon cautiously circled his arms around you. When you tensed, he stopped.
“What is it, love? Bad dream?” You stiffly nodded your head and he gathered you in his arms. You tried not to give into the instinct to run away from him. You knew he wouldn’t hurt you like that but you couldn’t get the image out of your head of what his face had looked like.
“Do you want to talk about it?” You shook your head, finally able to wrap your arms around his waist. You didn’t want him to know that it was because of him. He would feel guilty eventhough he’d had no control over your dreams.
He tucked your head under his chin and held you close to his chest. The sound of his heartbeat under your ear was soothing your nerves.
“Want me to make you some hot chocolate?” You hesitated for a moment wondering if you wanted to actually go into the kitchen. Realizing you’d have to go sooner or later, you nodded.
He released you from the warmth of his arms and grabbed your hand to lead you into the kitchen. You almost felt ridiculous but couldn’t do anything about it.
Reaching the kitchen you sat down at the little cafe table chair. You pulled your knees to your chest and rested your chin on top of them. You absentmindedly watched Taekwoon as he gathered the items for the hot chocolate. He had done this before when you would have nightmares about HaeJeong. You would usually tell him about them but you weren’t ready to talk about this one. Especially when it involved him.
However, curiousity knawed away at you. Was what you saw in your dream even possible?
“Taekwoon?”
“Yes, love?”
“How many colors can your eyes change to?”
He chuckled and walked over to stand in front of you, hot chocolate in hand. He sat the mug beside you on the table and pulled another chair out, sitting himself in front of you.
“What color do you want them to be?”
“Oh…no, what I mean is…the, uh, red, black, and green I’ve seen, that’s everything, right?”
“There’s a few more. Whatever you’ve seen on stage, of course. Why?” His hands wrapped around your ankles and his thumbs rubbed soft circles on your skin. You took a large gulp of the hot chocolate, the feeling of the warm liquid spreading throughtout your body. He patiently waited until you finished the entire drink.
“I was just curious. Um…c-can they go, uh, white?” You lowered your gaze to your knees, hoping you didn’t sound crazy.
“Like this?”
Your eyes snapped up to his face just in time to see his eyes go white. It wasn’t exactly like your dream because you could still see his pupils. But, it was enough to send you scrambling off the chair. Your legs got tangled up in his hands that were still on your ankles. You smacked the floor with all the grace of a belly-flopping sea lion and groaned.
“Geez, (y/n), what the hell?” Taekwoon lept from his chair and lifted you from the floor. Once you were upright and your feet touched the floor again, you tried to back away from him. He wasn’t having it and tightened his hold on you.
“(Y/N), please tell me what’s wrong. Look at me.” Keeping one arm around your waist, the other raised to your chin. He gently pulled your face up to meet his. You flashed your eyes up at his and breathed a sigh of relief when they were green once again. You relaxed just a fraction and took a deep breath.
“Tell me, love. Please, I don’t like seeing you like this.” He touched his forehead to yours and wrapped both arms around you again. You rested your hands on his chest.
Sighing again, you slowly told him the details of your dream. Your body was stiff waiting for his reaction. You feared that he would laugh at you or tell you that you were crazy.
“Well, that explains why you freaked out. I’m sorry that I caused you to have a nightmare.”
“No! Please don’t feel sorry! It wasn’t your fault. It’s mine. I was probably thinking too much about it and you just so happened to be on my mind.”
“What was on your mind so much that you had this kind of nightmare about it? What’s been turning over in that pretty head of yours?” He placed a chaste kiss on your lips but you frowned. You knew what it was but you didn’t want him to know. It was embarrassing to tell him. He smoothed your hair away from your face and tried to catch your gaze with his own.
“Not going to tell me?” You shook your head and he tightened his arms, effectively leaving no space at all between your bodies. “You know, I can probably guess. All I have to do is listen to this.” He tapped a finger over your heart.
“Its not important Taekwoon. It was just a dream.”
“It is if it makes you run from me.” His comment made you instantly feel guilty. You hadn’t meant to do that. “Now, is it about meeting my parents?”
You shook your head no. Honestly, that was the least of your worries. From what Taekwoon had told you, they were easy-going, loving people.
“Ok. Then, are you worried about sleeping with me?” You heart involuntarily leapt at his question. You should have known that he would have guessed it quickly. You could do nothing but remain silent. “Ah, there it is. Perhaps if I’m more specific, you’re worried about me marking you with the tattoo?”
You buried your head into his chest and sighed.
“You know you don’t have to do it. It never even crossed my mind to force you into this. We can always do that later….or…never, if thats what you want.” His voice sounded hurt and you mentally kicked yourself. You raised your head to look at him.
“Taekwoon, please don’t think for one second that I don’t want you. I do. You’re the only one I want, forever. I just tend to over-analize things all the time. The nightmare had nothing to do with not wanting to. I suppose I was just thinking too much about how it would go that it just stayed on my mind.”
“So you’ve just been sitting around wondering what it will be like to have sex with me?” His eyes sparkled and he grinned mischievously.
You gasped at his blunt words and then hid your face in your hands.
“Oh my God, Taekwoon, no!” Maybe. “It had just crossed my mind last night.” Liar. “I was simply wondering about how the tattoo would work. That’s it!” Bullshit.
He laughed and picked you up easily. Carrying you to the bedroom and dropping you on the mattress. He went around to his side and climbed under the covers.
“Come on, my innocent one, let’s get some more sleep. We have,” He looked over at the clock on the nightstand, reading that it was only 3am. “six more hours until YoonJung comes over and takes you away from me for the day.”
You rolled your eyes at the apparent pout on his face and slid under the covers. Burrowing into his side, you laid your head on his chest and let his heartbeat lull you to sleep. His fingers came up and slid through your hair rhythmically. Sleep took you fast and thankfully, this time, you didn’t dream.
—————————7 hours later—————————-
You were pulling on your socks when the doorbell rang. You headed towards the door but Taekwoon had beaten you to it.
“Hey, I’ve come to retrieve my date.” YoonJung stood at the door staring up at Taekwoon towering above her small height. She looked around him and squealed.
“(Y/N)! I missed you!!” She dodged around Taekwoon, removed her shoes, and bolted towards you.
“I’ve missed you too, Unni!” You were soon enveloped in a crushing hug, causing you to squirm.
“Seriously! I leave you for two months to go and visit my family and you become a lead in a violent korean drama!”
“Well, its not like I asked for it!” You smiled at Taekwoon but noticed that he was staring at your feet. Following his gaze, you wiggled your toes and chuckled.
“Something wrong, Taekwoon?”
“I’m on your feet.”
YoonJung looked down and laughed heartily.
“Oh my god, (Y/N). You are such a huge dork.” She brought her palm to her face and cringed.
“What? They’re cute!” On your feet sat a pair of socks with cartoon Taekwoons on them.
“Do they have any others?” YoonJung took a great interest in staring at your socks.
“They had Jaehwan and Wonshik.” You watched at her eyes lit up when you mentioned Jaehwan’s name. “You can have the Jaehwan pair. I was going to keep the Wonshik pair but I think I’ll give them to JiYoon.”
“Why were you going to keep Wonshik’s?” Taekwoon’s voice was low and tense. You were unaffected. You looked up at his face, eyes now red.
“Because they’re cute.” You challenged his gaze and you eventually won. Taekwoon sulked off, mumbling under his breath.
“Okay, let’s go before Taekwoon buries us. And you even wear your own clothes anymore?” She gestured towards Taekwoon’s sweater that you were wearing.
“Hey, the pants and everything else are mine!”
You walked arm in arm to the door. Taekwoon leaned against the wall, arms crossed at his chest. You smiled at his expression, lips in a pout. You rose up on your tiptoes to give him a kiss but stopped right before you touched his lips, pulled away, and descended to put on your shoes. When you stood a low growl filled the small hallway. YoonJung turned around, eyes wide. You giggled and turned to Taekwoon. You leaned forward and connected your lips with his. He leaned closer and bit your bottom lip. You jumped back and stared at him. He winked at you, his revenge complete. You narrowed your eyes at him. He shrugged his shoulders and handed your bag to you.
“Be careful and keep your phone on you.”
“I will. And don’t forget. No listening!”
“Yeah, yeah, I know.”
You went out of your apartment and walked towards the elevator.
“What was that all about?” YoongJung pushed the button for the elevator.
“Oh, he can hear me from anywhere in Seoul. So since I wanted to talk to you about some things, I made him promise to dumb his senses down.”
“No, I got that part. I’m talking about before that. He growled at you.”
“Oh! Yeah, he does that all the time. He doesn’t mean anything bad by it. I, uh, kinda like it.” You blushed as you stepped into the elevator.
“Oh geez. Yeah, we have a lot to talk about.”
It took you about twenty minutes by bus and walking to get to the restaurant that you had chosen to eat at. Ten minutes later, you both had various side dishes and soups laid out on the table. You noticed YoonJung staring and you braced yourself for the onslaught.
“Ok, talk.”
You took a deep breath and told her first of the whole situation with HaeJeong and MinJeong. She was shocked because she had worked closely with MinJeong to secure your job.
After an hour of cursing them both your conversation turned to Taekwoon. You finally told her of the nightmare you had that night. She listened intently while you told her of the fears you had.
“I understand that you’re scared. I was too. Your first time is awesome and crazy all at once. But don’t feel obligated to do it just because you’ll be going away with him. He would understand.”
“I know he would. I just….I have no idea what I’m doing. What if he expects something and I don’t do it right? Or if I’m bad at it? Oh God, what if I’m really bad at it? Or whay if I break something? And then there’s the whole tattoo thing. I still don’t know how all that is going to go down. I-I love him. I don’t want to lose him just because I might be bad at sex.” You let your head drop and hit the table. After a few seconds you could hear YoonJung laughing. You groaned but her chuckles increased in volume. Finally, you raised your head to glare at her.
“Oh, honey, you really do think too much. If you want to be with him, then just let go and have fun. I promise he’s not going to be grading you on your performance.”
“What have I gotten myself into?”
“Answer that question yourself next week.” She stuffed a bunch of food in her mouth and smiled.
“But we’re going tomorrow. We’ll be back in three days. Why next week?”
“Because thats when you’ll probably be able to walk again.”
Your mouth fell open as you finally caught her meaning.
“Unni!” Your cheeks turned to fire as your mind processed what she was talking about.
“Oh hush. I’ve seen you two together. He treats you like porcelain. He wont care that you’re not experienced. He just wants you for you. All you need to be concerned about is having the time of your life. Believe me, being with a hybrid is a completely different experience.”
You started to respond but then you thought about what she said.
“Wait, Unni, how would you know?” You watched as her face blushed slightly. This amazed you because YoonJung rarely blushed.
“Well, its not like I planned it and he’s WAY too young. But, I couldn’t help it! He’s just so adorable and his aegyo just kills me!”
You gasped as you realized who she was talking about.
“You slept with Jaehwan?! Oh my god, when?!”
“Before I left to see my family. Not long after you guys came back from that vacation house.” She had a wistful look on her face and you smiled for her.
“What…how…but….how was it?” You whispered.
YoonJung just laughed and blushed even more.
“I’m not telling. You’ll have to find out for yourself. Just trust me. Trust him.”
“I do trust him. I’m just scared, I guess. I want this but I don’t know how to do this.”
“You don’t have to. He’ll take care of you. C'mon, let’s get you back. Taekwoon’s probably pacing the floor.”
You looked at your watch and realized that you had been gone for about four hours. You were surprised that Taekwoon hadn’t tried to text you.
“Yeah, probably. Either that or he’s asleep.”
When you got back to the apartment, you invited YoonJung to stay for dinner but she declined stating she had another meeting. Unlocking the door and walking into the living room, you saw Taekwoon lying on the couch, fast asleep. His huge frame took up the entire couch.
You quietly walked to your bedroom and found some more comfortable pants to put on. Glancing towards the door you slid your pants down to the floor and kicked them towards the hamper next to the door. You watched them land and froze when you spotted Taekwoon by the door rubbing his eyes. Thankfully, his sweater that you had on covered the important parts but your legs were completely exposed. The heat of embarrassment coursed throughout your body. His eyes traveled down your body and lingered on your legs. You couldn’t move. The look he was giving you prevented that. He has seen you in a bathing suit before but this was different. This was more intimate. Your heart hammered in your chest as he walked towards you. Your hands fisted in the pants that you had intended to put on but now served as a security blanket.
He stopped when he was only a few inches from you. Your eyes locked with his as you stood there fastinated when they started to glow. His hand reached out and grabbed a handful of the material of your sweater and pulled you in the rest of the way. His free hand cupped your cheek as his head lowered towards you. His body was warm from sleep and his lips were soft. Sliding his tongue across your bottom lip, you granted entrance. His hand that had been fisted in you sweater moved to wrap low around your hips. The action brought your body even closer to his and it was unmistakable that he was aroused. Your heart flipped in your chest and heat pooled in your belly. He released your lips and dove for your neck. He placed various kisses along the skin but your mind involuntarily went to your dream. You stilled at the thought and he noticed. He raised his head and looked at you. He took in the worried look on your face and furrowed his brows.
“You okay” His voice was raspy from sleep and you cursed your body for reacting the way it did. You wanted that voice to whisper things in your ears, not asking about other things.
“I’m fine. I’m sorry, I just…” You didn’t know what to say. Nonetheless, he seemed to understand. You felt guilty when he backed away slightly.
“Why don’t you finish changing and I’ll start the food.” He smiled, but not fully. “I’m making pasta.”
“I don’t deserve you.” You almost wanted to cry. Why did you have to be so backwards?
“I think that’s the other way around my love.” He kissed your forehead and headed to the kitchen. “Oh, I went shopping earlier and got you a present. Its in the closet.”
You watched as he walked away, wondering how you got so lucky. You quickly put on your pants and went over to open the closet. A small, plain shopping bag sat on the floor. You picked it up and took out the contents. Immediately you gasped and dropped everything to the ground. There, on the floor was a very expensive looking black lingerie set. You jumped when warm breath spread over your neck. Taekwoon’s hand slowly slid down your arm and held your wrist, rubbing small circles on it with his thumb. He chuckled at the sight of the set and bag on the floor.
“Not quite the reaction I was expecting but I just wanted to get it for you. You don’t have to wear it. In all honesty, you look just as good just wearing my sweater–and nothing else.”

HEALING RAVI - CHAPTER FOUR
Hello~~~~ *waves*
I hope you all are having a lovely week so far.
Here’s the next chapter for Ravi! I hope you enjoy it! Next up will be a chapter for Daeguni~
Side note: I told myself I wasn’t going to but I became weak and bought the Elysium concert dvd……I blame MWave for having signed copies for sale 😥
Now I can get Taekwoon back in my head for his story!
🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
JiYoon took a deep breath as she stood outside of a large brick building. It looked old by the way the grey brick was slowly cracking around the edges. Rising from the cracked asphalt like a set for a horror film more than a prison. The windows were grungy and covered in grime. Certainly, it would make it difficult to see in or out. She wondered exactly how many hybrids were housed in this horrid location. Of course, there were also regular humans in there as well. Regardless of the number, however, there were two in particular that she really wished she didn’t have to see today–or ever.
A hand gently touched her shoulder and she slinked away from it, startled.
“I’m sorry.” She followed the hand until it reached the side of its owner. Kim Wonshik. He had insisted that he come with her. His face had been determined and she hadn’t had the courage to refuse. He had stated that he was not going to let her step with a mile of that son of a bitch unless he was there. He had been pulled in by her so fast so, naturally, he was fiercely protective already. He was hoping for something more with her but he wasn’t sure how she felt. He knew she wasn’t ready for any emotional attachment but he already decided that he would care for her as much as she would let him.
She watched as his face fell, knowing he had forgotten that you didn’t like to be touched. He couldn’t help his nature, she knew that. He was always hugging his bandmates or showing some type of affection. She wished that she could be that free. She wished that she didn’t automatically flinch when a hand got too close. She didn’t blame him. She understood that he had no ill intentions so she tried her best not to react when he moved too fast or touched her accidentally.
“It’s okay.” She smiled up at him. “I just wasn’t paying attention.”
He gave her a half-smile, indicating that he understood. And he did. Wonshik was very patient with her and she appreciated that so much. She felt much safer when he was near her. She couldn’t explain it. Perhaps it was simply his wolf nature.
A man stepped out of a large steel door and walked towards them. She tensed and Wonshik noticed.
“That’s Jimin’s uncle. He was the one that arrested HaeJeong and MinJeong.” Wonshik leaned in close and she could feel his breath on her neck. Goosebumps appeared on her arms and her heart quickened. He straightened and she took a deep breath, focusing on the man approaching them.
“Hello JiYoon, thank you for coming. I know you didn’t want to have to do this. I’m JaePil, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” The older man smiled and bowed. JiYoon returned the gesture, silently relieved that he hadn’t tried to shake her hand. He bowed again towards Wonshik and they exchanged greetings as well. “Follow me and we can get this over with and put it behind us.”
The concept of this time in her life being left behind was a nice thought. Perhaps she could lead a semi-normal life after this.
She followed after JaePil, looking over her shoulder to make sure that Wonshik was behind her. Sure enough, he was right on her heels giving her a small grin. She knew he was on edge. Neither one of you knew what to expect.
JiYoon followed JaePil through the large metal doors that revealed a long hallway with several doors on either side. Halfway down the hallway, he stopped and opened a plain white door. Inside was a simple desk and a few metal chairs. It closely resembled a typical interrogation room but had obviously not been used in a while.
“The first thing I need for you to do, JiYoon, is make an official statement. I need you to write down as much as you can about what happened. All the way from the very beginning.” JaePil placed some paper and a pen down on the table and turned to her.
“The entire four years?” Panic swelled in her chest as her mind began to run through what her life had been in those years.
“Not every detail but as much as you can. We need to be able to slap them with as many charges as possible so they can’t get out any time soon. I especially need you to write about the kidnapping, holding you against your will, and the sexual assaults. Those will hold the most weight against them.”
She lowered her head and nodded. She was fighting with her emotions and trying to control them. She didn’t want to write everything down and relive it all. On the other hand, she couldn’t risk having those two out on the streets where they could hurt more people. She was also struggling with the fact that Wonshik was in the room and would be witness to all of this. She didn’t want him to carry the burden of knowing the horrors that she had been through.
“After that is taken care of we need you to officially identify them as your attackers.” JaePil mentioned quietly, knowing it would be difficult for her.
JiYoon almost lost control of her knees at that point. Her eyes widened and a slight tremble started in her stomach.
“I-I have to s-see them?” Her voice was small and barely audible.
“Just for a moment. We will be there with you, right Wonshik?” JaePil looked at the wolf for help.
“Of course. I wont leave your side for a second. They wont touch you, I promise you that.” Wonshik’s deep voice reached her and she settled slightly. She didn’t know JaePil or this place. But she trusted Wonshik. She needed to stop cowering. She needed to stop being afraid of everything. Maybe, just maybe, this would be the first step.
She sat down at the table without a word and began writing. She was at least thankful that she didn’t have to voice her story to someone. This was silent and only slightly less painful. The officer had left to prepare the inmates for the identification portion of this trip. Wonshik stayed silent the entire time, offering quiet support.
When she was finished, almost forty-five minutes later, she felt mentally drained. Reliving those moments and actually putting them down to paper hurt more than she thought it would. However, it also felt like a release. She tried to consider this a chapter in her life that was coming to a close.
When the papers were handed over, JaePil led them to another room. This one was larger with no windows and only two chairs. He had explained that this room was the only one available that would be large enough to keep them separated. The officer then led her to stand at the far corner of the room while he brought HaeJeong and MinJeong in. Wonshik stood behind her, tense but ready if needed. When the door opened again, she held her breath. MinJeong entered first, head down, walking straight to the chair and sitting down. HaeJeong was different. He walked in, head held high and smiling. When he noticed JiYoon he stopped.
“Aww, JaePil, I’m so touched! You brought my favorite toy! C'mere, JiJi and give us a hug! I’ve missed you.” He started towards that side of the room but JaePil caught his arm and pulled him over to the chair, forcibly shoving him down in it.
The nickname that he had used caused her to feel nauseous. She still heard that in her sleep. Almost instinctively she backed up a step. She could feel the body heat coming from Wonshik. Knowing that he was behind her gave her the strength not to crumble.
“Oh, you brought a guard doggie, too! How sweet! I remember you~. Tell me, pup, have you had her yet? If not, I can give you some suggestions on what she likes. Man, does she scream! Aw, now don’t get angry. I’m trying to help you!”
JiYoon turned to see that Wonshik’s eyes had turned red already. What worried her more was the tinges of black that hovered around the edge of his irises. She could feel the electricity of his anger rolling off of him. Thankfully, JaePil stepped up to change the subject.
“Enough. We need to settle this and go our separate ways. JiYoon, I’m going to ask you a few questions. I have a voice recorder for evidence purposes. I need you to speak clearly so we can hear everything later, okay?”
“Yes, I understand.”
“Good. Now, JiYoon, as stated in your testimony, a man kidnapped you from the orphanage in which you resided four years ago, right after you turned 18, correct?”
“Yes, that’s correct.”
“Is that man here? And if he is will you point to him and voice which chair he is in?”
“Yes, he’s here. The one sitting in the left chair, closest to the door.” JiYoon watched as HaeJeong’s expression went from carefree and jovial to dark and menacing. She had seen the change before. He was going to snap soon. She only hoped that it would be much later, after she was gone.
“Good, thank you. Next charge. JiYoon, as also stated in your testimony, the same man that kidnapped you, forced you to perform sexual acts with him as well as physically abusing you. As before, if that man is here will you point him out?”
JiYoon took a deep breath and tried to keep the tears from falling. She swallowed, her throat going dry.
“Yes, he is here. The same man from before, sitting in the left chair closest to the door.”
“Very well. Officially, with these charges and the victim’s testimony we will seek life imprisonment for Lee HaeJeong. As for Kim MinJeong, who acted as an accomplice, we will seek the same charge once we receive testimony from another victim. This concludes the session of charges.” JaePil spoke into the recorder before pressing a button to save it and placed it in his pocket. He walked over and reached for MinJeong first. Once he was to his feet, all hell broke loose. MinJeong grabbed JaePil and slammed his head against the wall and held it there. He tried to struggle but the blow to the head had disoriented him.
“You filthy slut! I’m going to kill you for putting me in here!” HaeJeong lunged for JiYoon but never made it.
JiYoon braced for the blow that would come from the snake hybrid but it never came. When she opened her eyes all she saw was Wonshik’s back. He had pulled her back into the corner and he was fighting with HaeJeong.
Wonshik held HaeJeong’s fist in his large hand and began to twist it at a odd angle. The snake knelt to the floor in an effort to relieve the pain. Soon, she heard a sickening crack as HaeJeong’s wrist broke. He screamed in agony but came at Wonshik full force. The blow HaeJeong was able to land pushed Wonshik back against JiYoon. She huddled in the corner as much as she could but Wonshik’s back was flush against her chest. She was effectively trapped and she was having trouble breathing. She tried to remind herself that this was Wonshik and he was protecting her. That the proximity of his body was not intended to be an attack.
Wonshik gained the upper hand again and slammed his fist into the HaeJeong’s jaw.
“You fucking mutt! I’ll slit your throat first and have you bleed out while fuck her senseless! Then, I’ll kill her slowly until they wont recognize the body! Who the hell do you think you are?! You all ruined my life!”
Wonshik’s growl echoed throughout the room. JiYoon even slunk into the corner further after she heard it.
“You son of a bitch! Do you actually think you’ll get past me? You have no idea who you are fucking with. I’m a wolf, you dumb fuck. What makes you think your power surpasses mine? You’re so far down the food chain I almost feel sorry for you. The only thing keeping me from tearing you apart right now is the knowledge that you will rot in here. You’ll be here knowing that your carefully laid plans were destroyed by a boy band. My only wish for you is that you’ll have to go through the same pain you put JiYoon through everytime you drop the soap in there.”
“You motherfucker!” HaeJeong screamed as he took off for Wonshik again. Before he could reach him, Wonshik shifted his body, shot his leg out, and launched HaeJeong into the wall. The snake slowly fell to the floor, unconscious.
Wonshik started over towards MinJeong but the officer had already gained the upperhand. With the threats extinguished, Wonshik turned to JiYoon. He took a step towards her but stopped when she backed herself into the corner again. He raised his hands in surrender. She was looking at his eyes and he realized that they must still be red. Willing himself to calm down, he closed his eyes. When he felt the change and they were blue again he opened them. Wonshik was relieved so see that she had relaxed a bit. However, he could tell that she was still shaking.
“Let’s get you out of here, okay? Hyung, we’re finished right?”
“Yeah, you guys take off. I’ll take care of these dumbasses.” He offered a smile that indicated that he was sorry about what had happened. Wonshik nodded in acceptance.
JiYoon slowly made her way to the door, keeping her eyes on HaeJeong the whole time. It was as if she was waiting for him to suddenly wake up and come after her again. Wonshik opened the door for her but made no move to touch her. If it was up to him, he would have picked her up and ran out of this hellhole with her. He hated seeing the look of fear on her face.
When she reached the van, she barely made it into the seat in the middle when her knees collapsed and all but fell into the cushion. Wonshik reached for her arm to steady her but stopped only a centimeter from it. God, he wanted to touch her. But, he didn’t think he could take it if she avoided him because of it.
She finally settled herself into the seat as the manager started the van to head back to the dorms. She had noticed Wonshik’s reluctance to touch her. She felt guilty. But, she also felt at a loss.
So what if he did?
She wondered if she slowly allowed herself to break free and have a little courage, would she be happier? Whenever she felt someone come in contact with her skin she was transported back to that godforsaken room that had been her personal hell for fpur years. But she didn’t want that anymore. Seeing HaeJeong fighting with Wonshik and losing to hom had given her a different perspective. She had never been able to overpower him. But Wonshik had succeed almost effortlessly. She was safe with him. He was caring and gentle. And she had touched him before when she’d healed him. It had been hard to hold herself together but she didn’t break. She looked down at his hand and noticed that there was blood along his knuckles. She remember the crack she had heard when he had hit HaeJeong. He had to be in pain. She didn’t want to be the cause of pain for someone.
Before she could talk herself out of it she reached for his right hand. She had to turn towards his slightly to reach it and was able to catch his reaction. This time he flinched. It was odd to see someone react the way she usually did. She almost smiled. Just moments ago he was a badass wolf hybrid ready to tear down the house. But now, he was calm and shy.
“What are you doing?” His voice was low but she caught the surprise in it.
“You’re bleeding.” She held his hand in hers much like she had the first time. However, this would be easier since nothing was broken.
He didn’t say anything else. He simply allowed her to do whatever she wanted. He was afraid that if he said anything, she would pull away.
She had healed his hand in a matter of moments but she didn’t release it from her hold. His hand was warm and large as it laid in hers. She didn’t have the courage to look at him but she silently prayed that he wouldn’t remove his hand.
Does he think I’m odd? Maybe I should let go.
She almost did but Wonshik flexed his hand ever so slightly over hers. He was holding her hand now, but just barely. Warmth spread from her hand, up her arm, and straight to her heart. The feeling amazed her. She didn’t feel afraid.
But, Wonshik couldn’t breathe properly. JiYoon was still beside him, holding his hand. He looked at her face but couldn’t read her expression. He held himself deathly still lest he scared her somehow by moving.
“Thank you for coming with me today. I….don’t want to think about what might have happened if you weren’t there.” A small smile appeared on her face. She curled her hand around his slowly. It was an innocent action but it meant the world to her.
“I’ll be anywhere you need me to be.” He whispered.
She thought for a moment. It was something she had considered before but didn’t dare to ask. But now she felt that she needed to.
“Wonshik? Can you help me with something?”
“Of course, whatever you need.” He kept his voice calm. However, inside he was jumping for joy. She wanted his help. He didn’t care if it was just lifting some heavy boxes for her, he was there.
JiYoon looked up at him and studied his face for a moment. Whatever she needed to say, she was struggling with it. He gave her a reassuring smile that he would be patient.
“Help me not to be afraid. I have no idea how to fix…me. I don’t want to be like this forever.” Tears formed in her eyes. “I want to be normal like everyone else.”
Wonshik slowly raised his free hand to her cheek and gently brushed the tear away that had escaped from her eyes.
“You are normal, sweetie. You are a good person that bad things happened to. I promise that I will do everything in my power to erase your memory of those years. I can’t promise that there is an easy fix but you will forget. You just might have to trust me a little bit, though. Can you do that?”
“Yeah, I think so.” She hoped so.
“Good. For now, you just need to sit back and relax. You’ve had a long day. When we get back, I’ll show you my studio and we can work on that trust a little bit.”
