Anyways I've known about them since debut? I loved Bloom Bloom Pow with my whole heart when it came out and tried to fall for them then- It didn't work. The next time was when The Stealer (TS) came out~ I had watched them perform for Road to Kingdom- because ptg was on the show too- But I really loved TS cb- sm so that I bought the album about 6 mos later with my favorite members as inclusions at the time (Eric, Kevin and Hyunjae). But nothing came about of it even after watching the weekly idol episodes... Then came Whisper era and I ended up biasing Changmin (Q) and loving that song but again nothing came out of it.
(A little backstory is that Changkyun (I.M) got me into Dominic Fike's music-) Thus, when tiktok showed me Juyeon, Changmin, and Sunwoo dancing to Babydoll earlier this year as a dance cover: I fell. And then I finally checked out Watch It~ But Hui had his solo and it distracted me completely from falling further. Then I had gotten sick and decided 'well, what if I watch their content?' And I did... I watched their hello82 interview and their reaction to fanart of them, and lastly their mafia dance. And I loved each sm that I decided to check out more.
It was the first time I had watched their content and wanted to see more. And now, I watch their content almost daily. It's kind of like they revived the joy of kpop for me? My (old) ult of ults has been on hiatus due to the military so it's been stagnant content lately for me. But then they came in like a breath of fresh air- and I simply can't get enough. This month will be 3 mos and I honestly hope I'll follow them for a long time. (I think they're my new ult of ults tbh)
And lastly now here I am as a Younghoon and Juyeon bias (with bias wrecker: Changmin... he's doing everything to be bias again). And with them having a comeback I loved with my whole heart this past month, I think it really solidified them with me. Honestly, I'm so happy with them.

oh i love waitress so much
#there is just nothing like it#it’s like the seventeen of musicals for me#in the way that i could not have listened to it (or watched a slime tutorial 👀) in a while#but it will always feel like an old friend#waitress was far from the first musical i ever loved#but it’s the one that made me fall in love with theatre#as a lyricist who writes songs for theatre i have a lot to thank waitress for#in about 1.5 weeks i’m seeing the proshot with my mom and i am so excited#i saw waitress 5 years ago next month so to get to see it with my mom again is so exciting#and i get a proper goodbye this time#both times waitress closed i cried to the entire cast recording#(which if you’ve never heard it before has a number of songs that most people wouldn’t cry at & that i usually don’t)#but i just love waitress that much#i will probably cry again while watching it bc i know that this is the last time i’ll get to see this story that means so much to me#(at least for a while)#but regardless#im still so excited and thankful for this opportunity#not kpop#theatre 🎭#love & pie : the musical 🥧🩷🩵

Would you consider selling NSR keychains? I've been looking for more NSR merch to buy ngl
Ah, I could consider it, if that's something y'all really want, but I've never really made "real" merch before.
TBH, I have very little confidence that my stuff would sell, given that no one outside my friend group has ever bought anything from me before XP. (Granted, those were homemade/original items, so I understand why interest would be low for those).
Maybe I'll make a poll about it soon to see how many people are willing to spend some dosh on me~
Or if you're interested in one-off/custom items like the White keychain, we can discuss that privately. Because that's actually something I really wanted to do since I have so many extra blanks, but I didn't think anyone would be interested ;_;.

sometimes for fun i try reading those character x y/n fics that are in every main tag ever and they are always consistently extremely bad. like not once has one been even remotely readable and they’re always like 36386483k words long. who is writing them i don’t understand and who these are supposed to appeal to because they’re always insane

oh no i’m falling in love again
#theatre has taken back my heart so so deeply#i got the absolute honor & privilege to see parade last night and it was so special#i got to see ben platt who is to theatre what taylor is to music for me#and that was 5 years in the making so it was beyond wonderful#i got to see micaela diamond who is marvelous as lucille#honestly that whole cast is just awe inspiring#and that amazingly minimalistic set and remarkable lighting/projection design#i got to hear jrb’s beautiful score (which i’d absolutely consider his masterpiece) played by some wonderful musicians#and the best part - i turned my best friend into a theatre kid#parade is absolutely impeccable and theatre is gorgeous and i am so thankful to have both in my life#theatre 🎭#parade#not kpop

Only thing really stopping folks from that god-tier comedy is the canon that the Wilderness Trio's time together at that school is all illusory (like, literally all made up in their minds by Hera's clownery) and Leo thinking his pyrokinesis is a curse due to him believing it contributed to his mother's death. But honestly, I've seen fanfic twist crazier parts of canon to make it work, so you could just write the second bit off as Hera meddling w memories. Canon divergence for all. - Heckhead
My guess the reason no one revisits the Wilderness Trio is because (people think) Jason is too "bland" and Jason x Piper also being mid next to the gold-standard pairing that is Percy x Annabeth. Personally, I think they're sleeping on absolute gold; Jason Grace fulfills a very important niche in the CHB ecosystem, and The BAD Thing That Happens to Him in the Third Series is a war crime. - Heckhead
i mean tbh the fact that it was all fake in canon should be EVEN MORE REASON to fuck with it. like this sandbox is wide open START BUILDING. and i mean yea the thing w leo's mom is a reason for him to be iffy about fire powers but like. suspension of disbelief i feel like the audience could be convinced that if both jason and piper are admitting to some weird powers that, as far as they know, literally no one else in the world has, leo might admit to his and just not mention the whole mom fire thing. that can come up later down the line and be angsty and shit lol
people only think jason's bland bc he's not Marvel Quippy like we all got spoiled by percy jackson's inner monologue for five books and then jason comes in and is his own character (quelle surprise) and people missed percy's wit n humor. but like shit there's a lot of interesting places to go with him maybe because he's a little bit blank-slate straight man protagonist, compared to percy (i haven't reread past the lost hero so idr if the blankness kinda goes away once he regains his memory). besides iirc in the series i did not read, piper dates a girl, sooo explorations of comphet and/or her sexuality without MIST MEDDLING would be another direction to take this. like fuck, y'all, the niche is open and the sandbox is empty.
