Quick question: what would be a perfect alternative Winx x Specialist pairings in your honest opinion? Like, if Bloom didn't date Sky, Stella didn't date Brandon, Flora didn't date Helia (I mean, she would be with Mirta, but the show's heteronormativity says "Fuck you" to us), Musa didn't date Riven, Tecna didn't date Timmy, Aisha didn't date Nabu/Roy/Nex.
Boyfriend swap???
Okay then XD
Bloom:
I've begun my "I don't care for Bloom/Sky" era except I love Sky unlike most people who believe this. He's literally a wet cat of a man. Bloom's and Sky's relationship is based on Bloom wanting the prince charming of her dreams, and Sky wanting to be normal by being with someone nomral. Both of these things are very much not true and are pretty unrealistic of them.
Bloom/Brandon
Brandon is the only one of the guys that would be able to roll with the insane shit that Bloom is ALWAYS caught up in without missing a beat. That's it, that's the only reason. No hesitation, no surprise, simple acceptance.
Stella:
I cannot believe you're making me break up Brella I will NEVER forgive you for this /joke
Stella/Helia
Why? Helia is the only person Brandon has ever considered a threat to his relationship, and I think that's funny as hell. Helia's commitment to the bit and acting utterly insane (see: holding off a monster only for Flora and letting the other Winx die ig, throwing someone through a table) would match Stella's ultra dramatic energy perfectly. Stella starts a bit and Helia acts like it's her last dying will and testament. Also, Helia seems to not trust himself as a part of a team (esp in the comics) and Stella's Stella ness would drag him out to hang out with everyone more often in s2 helping with that. On the other side Helia would barely care about Stella's looks, like they'd probably dating after Stella drops her "cute blonde ditz" mask, so he'd inform her of how much he likes her real personality so often
Stella/Timmy
I think it would be cute. Stella keeps him in her purse and she thinks he's so adorable. Timmy is being lavished with attention and he will try his best to let Stella know she's the best person he's ever met
Flora:
I genuinely forget that in canon Flora and Helia are supposed to be together. Mirta my beloved disaster lesbian
Flora/Riven
I have too many shippers of these two following me to not see the appeal. I have read the essays and I am convinced they could be EXTREMELY cute. Riven helps Flora be more assertive and not exclusively do things for others, and Flora helps Riven connect with his emotions and other people. Adorable
Tecna:
I don't ship Tecna's aroace ass with Timmy in the first place, or anyone for that matter so this is gonna be difficult
Tecna/Nabu
She'd eat everyone alive. He's the only non Timmy person who'd survive
Musa:
Despite Rivusa being my otp, breaking it up is a lesser crime than breaking up Brella who are soulmates. You still will not be forgiven for your transgressions /joke
..... Uh
Uhhhhh
UHHHHHHHH
okay, so, Musa has like, so many problems. Specifically relating to relationships, and tbh she needs someone who can understand her. Someone who understands why she's so clingy and can go hot and cold bc they're the same way and having a relationship is very hard when your mentally ill
Musa/Timmy
But only s1 Timmy who told Riven and Sky to shut the fuck up. I feel like he's the right balance of kind and willing to push back on Musa getting codependent or having a mood swing on him without being intimidated (and Brandon would feel trapped in this kind of dynamic)
Aisha:
IN MY AU ANNE IS A SPECIALIST SO CAN I SAY ANNE???? No? Rip
Aisha/Sky
Personally I think it's funny and they'd balance each other out and have similar focus on the mission priorities. Also Aisha starts off in my thing finding Sky super annoying for Diaspro related reasons but they have similar childhoods and reacted in almost opposite ways and I feel that that's a neat dynamic

Hey!! I know my question will be basic, but if you had to rate winx ships (Musa&Riven, Flora&Helia, Stella&Brandon, Tecna&Timmy, Aisha&Nabu, Bloom&Sky) in a scale from your favourite to your least favourite, how would it be?? I am just curious haha. By the way, your art is so amazing!!
Hello anon! Oh, no, it's not basic at all, I think I have actually never rated Winx ships before, so maybe it's high time for me to do a personal ranking. And thank you so much for appreciating my art!
Musa and Riven - I mean, it's not a shocker if you've been following me on IG or here on Tumblr. They have always interested me the most, for numerous reasons. I sometimes like to think they are the example of "she fell first, but he fell harder". It wasn't obvious they will become a couple in S1, but already then Riven was given a chance to face his demons which was intriguing to see since he's a secondary character after all, but it showed a side of him which then foretold his development later on in the series. In S2 they have a slow, gradual progression which ends with a dramatic, emotional kiss. In S3 and S4 they do have ups and downs which seem to stand out, and because of that people tend to focus very often on the downs. Unfortunately, the show's writing leaves a lot to be desired, and it did them dirty because I'm of the opinion that Musa should have realized she also needs to work on herself to ease the unnecessary tension in this relationship which more often that not stems from poor communication. Riven does have a substantial character development in S4, and I'd love Musa to grow too and understand that she could become an emotional sanctuary for him. If I were to try to sum up why I am particularly fond of them, it's because of this special depth and potential in their relation: two emotional wrecks with tough childhood and traumas subconsciously feel they would understand each other very well, but instead clash due to communication issues, and yet they crave each other and so should make an effort to understand each other better, in order to create a one of a kind, thriving relation. Of course I do have my headcanons which have an impact on my view of them, and I would write a lot of things differently (I constantly come up with something while rewatching). Anyway, watching a seemingly unadjusted couple becoming well-adjusted to each other over time is simply something that fascinates and satisfies me.
Aisha and Nabu - Another interesting one, and also not so obvious at the beginning. What makes them similar to Musa and Riven is that they also seem to have lonely and sad childhood. Single and happy throughout S2, Aisha was devastated to know she was supposed to end up in an arranged marriage with a guy she doesn't even know. At that time her animosity towards men is even more intense, and her relation with Nabu started... unpromisingly, because Nabu was spying on her. Of course the spying was without malicious intentions, because he wanted to see and learn something more about his future fiancee before approaching her, but that still left a poor first impression, especially because he was exposed in the public. As S3 goes on, Nabu turns out to be a trustworthy wizard who also eventually confesses to Aisha about his fleeing from Andros and reveals his real name, and admits how wrong it was to spy on Aisha. All of that makes her soften and she develops strong feelings for him. In S4 they don't stir unnecessary drama when it's revealed guys went to Earth to provide additional protection for Winx, but they cherish their time together to the fullest. I noticed that this relationship made Aisha go from being in masculine energy (S2/23) to more feminine energy (S4). I dare say that if it hadn't been for Nabu and if she had been single at the beginning of S4, I'm pretty sure she would have also lashed out at guys for "not trusting them that they're fine on their own". Instead, when guys arrive once again to help them, Aisha radiates pure joy and shouts "NABU! I'm so happy to see you again! (...) It's all good now that you're here!", which shows how much in love she's with him, and that she has no problem being dependent or receiving help from a guy anymore. They had quite a lot of screentime in S3 which made me attached to them, and in S4 they're the strongest ray of sunshine among all the couples in my opinion (I won't talk about how this relationship ended ;-;).
Stella and Brandon - Their S4 drama left a scar on my view on their relationship, but apart from that they're really precious and do have potential to be like Morticia and Gomez Addams, who are often referred to as couple goals. They are both flirtatious and deeply in love with each other. Stella doesn't give a fluff about Brandon's lower social status, and she's always happy to see him. In S2 she was dead serious about rescuing Brandon whatever and however long it took, while Sky (Brandon's best friend) didn't seem to be concerned about him at all... In S3 Brandon made her realize he and other people love her for who she is, not for her looks. There are probably more things I want to say about them, but can't remember them now, so let me just say that in my eyes they ooze an aura of lightness and authenticity which I guess is what makes them pleasant to watch.
Tecna and Timmy - Some say that the majority of Timmy's personality is centered around being Tecna's boyfriend, and I kinda agree with it, because again we know little to nothing about Timmy's background. Surely he has a lot of common with Tecna, and that's basically their passion towards IT, computers, logic, and all of that. We fortunately got some insight into how Timmy feels about Tecna when she was gone for a while, and Timmy's tearful confession about Tecna's being his best friend made my heart melt. While watching S4, I noticed Tecna softened a lot since she's with Timmy, and contrary to expectations, they are fine with public display of affection. I don't have a lot more to say about them, but I do think they are interesting: a serious, overly-logical tech geek meets an awkward, shy tech geek, and there we go, a relationship blooms. You could say that common passion brought them together.
Flora and Helia - These two are both very romantic and they match aesthetic-wise, but ngl due to little screentime, they are quite forgettable to me XD at one point I seriously forgot that Helia exists even though he already was Flora's boyfriend. That notwithstanding, I do like their first encounter which highlighted the fact that Flora noticed something about Helia's drawing which other people overlooked. She also gains her Charmix thanks to mustering enough courage to confess her attraction to him. But then again, Helia isn't much more than just Flora's boyfriend when you think about how the show is written, and as any other guy (maybe apart from Sky xD) deserves to have his background and personality explained more.
Bloom and Sky - Well, I think I'm just tired of them. In the series they have a lot of screentime (two first movies are basically centered around these two), but I feel like despite all the spotlight they got little development. I certainly don't like that Sky likes to invent problems and disappear out of the blue, ghosting Bloom and giving her emotional rollercoasters, while she acts naive and too forgiving towards him. I do find them overly sweet to my taste as well. They do have their good sides too, of course, (e.g. Sky does support Bloom a lot when she feels down, provided he's by her side at the moment), but in my eyes there is just too much of them.
And what's your ranking? Comment below!

003, Flora and 003 Tecna
Flora
How I feel about this character: I LOVE her, she was always my fave winx and I just always adored that such a soft and kind character also got to be a badass and a warrior.A
Also, I really appreciated her as an introvert cause like, so often introverted characters have that, ‘let your hair down and become a party animal!’ Arc and I’m so glad that Flora was allowed to stay soft throughout the series and was also shown to be a nerd, even if that was more in s1.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Helia (those 2 were my first OTP). Aisha and for a hot second Brandon, mostly cause of that one episode where Diaspro is kidnapped.
My non-romantic OTP of this character: Yall already know, of course Riven. I mean come on, they had so much potential to be besties.
My unpopular opinion about this character: mmm, I don’t know if this is unpopular but I always saw her as the 2nd most powerful and wish she would’ve gotten more explored in that aspect.
One thing I wish would’ve happened in canon: I wish we could’ve explored her more nerdy side like in s1 that she was good with potions. Also the power thing, I wish we would’ve gotten to see more of her powers. (She should’ve been center-stage for the Diana plotline of s4)
Het ship: Helia x Flora
Fem ship: Flora x Aisha
OTP: Helia x Flora
OT3: uummm… I’ll say Flora x Helia x Riven cause I can honestly kinda picture it
Cross over ship: I don’t really do cross over ships so I’m making these up on the spot ajjajaa. I’ll say either Flora x Luka from MLB cause he’s a bit similar to Helia and my blueberry boy deserves so much better or Flora x Soren from the Dragon Prince. Don’t ask me why, it just popped into my head and now I can’t get that idea out.
My kink: so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to put here, also I’m asexual as fuck so I’ll leave it empty
A head cannon fact: she’s amazing with potions
Tecna
How I feel about this character: Love her, deserved better. I’ll be honest I always thought she was cool but she didn’t really make me fall in love with her til s2 when she freaks out during the Wildlands arc. Also love her fashion sense and how she’s kinda representation for neurodiverse gals.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Timmy and Musa. Honorable mention: Riven and Bloom
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Tecna x Nabu/Flora
My unpopular opinion about this character: I think some people portray her as the one with the braincells and keeping the girls from danger/stupid decisions which, Tecna is VERY smart but she’s just as impulsive and prone to going head-first into danger as the others.
One thing I wish would’ve happened in canon: I just wish she would’ve gotten more focus and we got to see her develop a little more while keeping her unique charm and maybe a plotline confirming she’s autistic or smth like that.
Het ship: Tecna x Timmy
Fem ship: Tecna x Musa
OTP: Tecna x Timmy
OT3: Tecna x Flora x Nabu, when I was writing the non-romantic bit I realize I can kinda see these three working out for some reason ajjajajaa
Cross over ship: Tecna x… why do I wanna say Jason Todd? Or Tecna x Sokka from Avatar, I think those two would be hilarious and really cute
Head canon fact: I can’t think of anything to put here

If you could change one major thing about how each of the Winx girls and guys were written, what would it be?
Great question. I don’t think I would change anything about the characters themselves, per se, as I do generally like how they are written despite some of the inconsistencies. However, I do wish some of them were fleshed out more. I will list below some things that I would have either wanted to be changed or included in the show.
I wish Bloom had gained her Enchantix in a different way; I don’t necessarily think the way she earned it was out of character or anything, but I found it a little underwhelming. Stella should have had a heart-to-heart with her parents in season three or simply reflected on the feelings she’d had during her princess ball. I wish Flora got to be more experimental with her projects; she says she’s primarily in Alfea because she loves to learn, and I think it would’ve been cool to see her take an interest in magic-based biochemistry, create a makeshift lab, and find treatments for diseases that don’t currently have a cure.
A subplot of Musa learning to communicate better with Riven in season three would have been great; she’s super close to Aisha and shares a lot of her vulnerabilities with her, but she has a significantly harder time doing that with Riven. I’m also lowkey tired of Riven always taking the blame for everything. Tecna should have had a techno-thriller esque focus episode where she contemplated the line between what’s real and what’s virtual—or whether there’s a line at all. While I’m not a huge fan of the pixies, I know Piff helps Aisha sleep better at night and plays a role in alleviating some of the anxiety she experiences. I would have wanted that aspect to be explored more.
Sky should have faced consequences for his actions. As for Brandon, I imagine the identity switch situation was a massive blow to his conscience, and I think he’d have given himself a lot of grief over it. I wish we had witnessed that. I also wish Riven had opened up about his childhood (or just mentioned something about it) when he was face-to-face with his “monster” in season one.
Finally, I wish Timmy, Helia and Nabu had more screen time. I know that’s such a lame answer, but I would have really liked to know more about them.

Riven x Musa
Ok, so I keep seeing posts everywhere that basically badmouth S8 and after seeing ten seconds of the trailer (YIKES to the animation, what’s wrong with the industry that they are making everything anime? Powerpuff Gen Z, I’m looking at you – obs: I didn’t watch it fully yet) I can see where some of the criticism is coming from but anyways…
My favorite Winx!couple EVER has always been Musa x Riven since I was kid and first watched the show (Netflix is not helping ‘cause I ship them even there).
Tumblr media
I remember yawning at Bloom/Sky, rolling my eyes at Stella/Brandom and making a completely incredulous expression that I could literally feel forming on my face at Helia/Flora (can anyone say ‘unrealistic’?). Timmy/Tecna are a second favorite.
And why my Winx OTP are Riven x Musa followed after Timmy x Tecna? Because it reflects real life. In real life you’re not gonna stumble into people whose real and deep relationship problems are solved in twenty four minutes (not even that considering that some episodes present the “problem” half-way through said 24 minute-episode).
The breakup between Riven and Musa in S6 (spoilers everywhere after all) was one of the most mature breakups in the history of breakups with the hope for the future (yes, I’m completely ignoring S7, sue me, the whole thing was one huge filler anyways). And, after reading a lot of opinions on both ends (defending Musa/attacking Riven and defending Riven/attacking Musa) and watching the episodes in question (reuniting through reconciling) I think I can give my own analysis.
Since Musa AND Riven (individually and as couple) are my favorite characters in Winx, I think I CAN give a fairly unbiased view (hopefully).
*clears throat*
Ok, keep in mind that I’m defending BOTH of them, because I ship them too hard not to.
Musa Being OC (sometimes being called ‘brat’): C'mon, people! Musa and Tecna are OC since S4 anyways, where are the tomboy and the nerd? With the sneakers, T-shirt and comfortable-looking clothes? Noooo, now they all need neat skirts and hot pink high heels and long, glamorous hair. Do they look good? Of course, but and I would totally be less pissed if there was ANY indication on the reason for the change. Are they just maturing? Expressing themselves differently? Crowd mentality? Tune and Stella finally broke Musa down and Tecna followed soon after? Was it just to please Riven and Timmy? ANYTHING (even the 'pleasing a boy’ would at least be A reason - a ridiculous one that would piss me off, but A reason none the less), was just a sudden impulse that took?
Sure, we can talk about “character growth” until we are blue in the face, but the matter of the fact is that there was none.
The changes we see in Musa and Tecna are basically the creators making them more like the rest of the Winx (I’m including Aisha in this too, where is the sporty girl that matched the boy’s interest in extreme sports? C'mon! Even Bloom and her Girl Next Door looks are replaced with Bratz and Clueless-level of outfits).
Is anyone really going to look me in the eye and say Stella wasn’t a shallow (if friendly and good-natured) Mean Girl? She got better, but as I re-watch the show (currently in S3, meaning almost half-way through the content), Stella still worries more about her hair than anything else even while under literal fire.
More and more, Musa, Tecna and Aisha are losing their identities and what made them, IMO, the more badass Winx.
How did the two on the left went from this…
Tumblr media
… to this:
Tumblr media
Yeah, yeah, Musa still sings, Tecna still technobabble and Aisha is still a Warrior Princess but Aisha was the first one to go Bloom and Stella on us with Musa and then Tecna following soon after. It’s not just their clothing style, it’s the way they carried themselves too.
Right now? The only thing keeping them apart is their BF blues (different kind of blues) and some personal interests (singing, shopping, tech, the whole drama with Domino/Sparks, etc). But that’s IT, their personalities are going down the drain!
Sorry for the long-winded text, but the reason I’m expressing my disappointment at their change is because Musa’s reaction fits it. S6 we have such an AMAZING breakup (didn’t even think that was possible, WTH, right? Amazing breakup?) only for her to be mad as hell at Riven at S8? Bad writing, that has been dragging her (and the rest of the Winx) down to becoming just one unilateral, shallow character (the Specialists are also falling into that pit, what in the world did they do Helia in S8? He sounds like Thor telling about his “brave exploits” there, yikes). And continuity what? What continuity? Do they even remember how the breakup was written?
But ok, let’s put the Audience View aside for a moment and focus only on the In-Universe terms.
S6: You’ll always be my hero.
S8: What on EARTH are you doing here.
I laughed a bit, the contrast just got to me but instead of getting mad at one or the other like most of the fandom, I laughed.
Musa followed that by saying that Riven has not maintained contact and just in that I would be beyond pissed as well and giving my support to Musa. WTH, Riven? I think that each season is more less six months to a year? Sort of? Still, zero contact for so long even after ending on amicable terms and wanting to stay friends? And he went off on his own! A text now going, “I’m not dead” would be the bare basics for Musa not to worry herself bald!
BUT then I also read comments about how this was a two-way street, why didn’t Musa call either? That’s unfortunately something that I very much doubt will ever be explained. One of those: did it or didn’t it? Musa could have called and went straight to voicemail with no signs of life from Riven or she might not have called and just expected him to call as if feminism were dead and all initiative must come from the guy (which doesn’t even fit because they parted as friends).
Since we have no info on the above, I put it on both of them. It’s not fair to say, “HE should have called!” or “Why didn’t SHE call?” because we don’t have fricking context. So the only thing we can take is: no contact.
BECAUSE I put the lack of contact on both of them, Musa’s reaction was a little too much, however, Riven shows up all smirks and leaning against a tree with his arms crossed and I would have flashbacks to S1 if it wasn’t for the animation style that made all the guys look like girls. Dude! Not the time for that kind of posture. Not saying that he should be all sheepish and rubbing his arm as if he had done something horrible (again: we don’t have context on the no contact) but a more neutral approach was warranted here. Nobody does themselves any favors with that kind of attitude no matter what how high of a horse they may be (rightly or not) riding on, if anything I would react like Musa solely on that one.
Next episode we have that Riven convinced the guys to follow the girls in some mission and Musa was angry. Again: I would be too. WTH? Yes, yes, they helped and if it wasn’t for them, the Winx would gotten seriously injured but Musa did have a point saying that this demonstrated that they had no trust in them and need their hand held, it was no sanctioned mission like on Earth after all. BUT, Riven does something that I would never expect from in S1-4: he explains, he reasons it, he puts it in all the words that he does trust Musa and co and that he only wanted to show that he’d be there for her (you know? One of the main issues in S6 that made them breakup in the first place? His inability to conciliate Specialist work with supporting his girlfriend and ultimately failing or feeling like failing in both?) and Musa still pouts, crosses her arms, and turns around. Geez. I expected that one from Stella, not Musa. I think the closest Musa has ever come to THIS was back in S2 when Jared explains that Riven was the one to recommend that he interview Musa and yada yada yada and she got mad and stomped off on the poor guy that didn’t even understand what was going on (only to immediately apologize to Jared and recognizing that it wasn’t him that she was mad at… like I said: what character growth?).
Riven then goes to show that he indeed grew when he asked for advice from Sky and Brandon (WTH, right? Can we picture that happening back in S1-3? He very grudgingly would LISTEN to UNSOLICITED advice from Nabu and Helia in S4-6). And does a very, very goofy and embarrassing show of affection. Yeah… again… I can picture Stella loving the light show with her face for IDK how many people to see but not Musa (although can we really blame the guy after the series went out of its way to make Musa all Stella-like? Clothes, attitude, the only thing missing is making Riven carry her shopping bags around and call him “Shnookums” (although the mental image is already enough for me to fall over laughing, just for the face Riven would make). Still, I have to count that one against Riven if only because (as much as the show gives only lip service to it) Musa isn’t Stella.
Riven being mind controlled (again) aside, those two are back together. And on the overall? Riven showed more growth than any other character in the show COMBINED (he is the Zuko of the show), that doesn’t go to say that he didn’t make mistakes since coming back in S8 (but that was more a guy trying to win back a girl than… betraying his friends for a pair of nice legs or… IDEK like in S1 – where, mind control or not the show itself made sure to make it clear that he had free will) or that he is now the one out of Musa’s league. I think that NOW it can actually work… if the show allows him to keep the progress, Musa is the next to see her flaws and work on them (which she showed to be able to do since S2) and put effort in the relationship. The difference between them is that Musa can actually work on herself and the relationship at the same time. That’s not me saying she is better than Riven in any way, everybody has their own pace and their own way to cope, to improve and to self-reflect.
I still root for them.
~*~
PS-IDK why, but I read posts about how Riven changed so much and posts about how all his progress disappeared and he is now back to his S1 attitude and I’m just cofused. Yeah, different of opinions and so on, but such opposite opinions on the subject of a guy whose relationship was focused on three episodes?

Winx characters and swears
Sometime ago I saw a meme in which the author made a list of how many of the Winx characters would say f**k, and so I decided to take inspiration from that to make my personal headcanons about it. The difference is that, instead of only a swear word, I would focus on swears in general (but not blasphemies). Here we go:
Swears occasionally: Bloom, Tecna, Darcy, Valtor, Selina
Often swears: Nex
It only happened once: Brandon, Timmy
Never swears: Flora, Faragonda, Griffin, Griselda, Vanessa, Mike, Helia, Nabu, Marion
Swears behind close doors / only when is very stressed: Stella, Sky, Oritel, Roxy
Always swears: Aisha, Musa, Icy, Stormy, Riven

Winx AU Detailing Part XVIII - Screaming about the guys
title is self-explanatory! all the deets below:
Sky
While he was taught how to act in tense or political situations, he is INCREDIBLY awkward and shy in social or normal circumstances and due to his royal air he can look standoffish and aloof. He’s just very shy, however, and it can take him quite a bit to start a conversation or warm up to people - he’s still surprised at how fast he became friends of Team 3Q and he believes he started more as “”“Sky’s”““ friend than them liking him for himself.
He absolutely sucks at ballroom dancing, no matter how many excellent teachers have taught him. He’s decent at best at other styles, but he’s incredibly uncoordinated outside of battle and steps on his partner’s feet way too much. Riven and Stella have slowly taught him at a different pace however, and he’s starting to very very VERY slowly get better at it.
He’s keeping his hair very long as an act of rebellion, as the tradition in Eraklyon is for only the Queens to have long hair, with the men always having very short hair to mark them as knights and military generals, with part of the crowning ceremony even involving a haircut. He doesn’t want to take part on this at all and has planned ways in which he can delay it or avoid it entirely.
Brandon
He has known Sky since he was 7, as one of his mothers is part of the Knighthood of Eraklyon and, as their highest ranking member, she was appointed to protect him during outings. They became friends vary fast and get along incredibly well, enough for Brandon to want to become his personal squire so he can ensure his safety even more - the switcheroo plot was all him, and while Sky vehemently objected, the King and Queen approved it.
Brandon is the second oldest child of his family, with his brother Aaron (who currently works as a chef for the Castle) being the oldest and with Soraya following in the middle and twins Dorothea and Florencia as his little sisters in that order. He and Soraya help the most around the house, and has honed a sense of responsibility far greater than the rest of his team. As such he ends up acting as the voice of reason most of the time and has to be a mood ruiner when its necessary, even if he hates it sometimes - it’s this sense of responsibility that makes him the actual leader of Team 3Q, not Sky. For ages, Aaron is older than him by 3 years, Soraya is younger by 1, and Dorothea and Florencia are younger by 7.
Because he was trained to always be at Sky’s side and protect him, he has become very perceptive about other people and their intentions, and can tell when someone is feeling down or suspiciously happy very easily. This leads to always be the first person to ask if something is wrong or confront others about how they’re doing, and while generally appreciated, he has a bad habit of barging unnanounced into other people’s problems.
Timmy
Timmy is...not in the best of terms with his parents. They’re so laser-focused on their job that they don’t really pay much attention to him at all, only really leaving him food and supplies and not even getting to see them until the weekends, and they don’t even really interact during the downtime. He still sometimes wonder if they even realized he’s at Red Fountain now, and while he appreciates them keeping him alive and well, he still resents them for their neglect.
His vision, while bad, is arguably the best of his teammates thanks to his glasses, which better his visual range into slightly further than perfect vision. This is the main reason he’s the sniper of his team, as no one else has his field of vision... or his skills, for that matter; he only trusts Brandon to hold his guns since everyone else is very, very clumsy with firearms.
Timmy really only appears shy due to his thin frame and glasses, he just doesn’t really try to interact much outside of the necessary since he doesn’t like going out much. He’s also the one guy to probs make the darkest jokes, which has surprised the rest on the regular. He’s very affectionate when you get very close though, which works in Tecna’s favor since she loves hugs and the like.
Riven
He’s older than the rest of the guys since he was kicked out of his previous team, Team 4T for infighting and aggressivenes - he was currently dating the leader of the team, but it was short-lived, and it was such a nasty breakup that they ended up actively fighting with their own weapons, each almost seriously injuring the other. He was sent to a calmer freshman team as a support leader in the hopes having to somewhat tutor others would help him relax and gain patience.
Riven is one of Stella’s childhood friends from when she went by Camila, and as such is one of the few people left allowed to call her Cami. She requested when they started RF and Alfea to only call her Stella and even pretend they don’t know each other for a long time, due to a recent agreement her parents had done with another royal family and that when the time arrives, she would explain more. This agreement was the whole Sky/Brandon fiasco, and when it came to the light, Riven dissappeared for a bit to get the full story from her.
He is an avid follower of fashion and is knowledgeable about most designers and trends, which tends to throw people off due to his rugged “I don’t give a fuck about anything” appearance. He meets up with Stella from time to time to chat, eat something, and talk shit about the current bad designs of the season, with Musa and Nova occasionally joining them.
Nex
He has been going as Nex ever since he was 10, and has managed to transition without many issues. He’s very happy his family and their troupe were supportive, and is pleased with how his life has gone so far. He mostly goes with a subtle appearance spell, but has gone through medical treatments and surgeries (more speficially, top surgery) as well in the recent years. He told the rest of Team 3Q a week after starting to live together, and they’ve been trying to help him with any kind of thing he needs the best they can, especially with the occasional cramps. (Drops here - I’ve done research on most of these things, and have had help from trans friends as well - but if you feel I got something wrong or if it’s offensive and/or innapropiate, please tell me! I’m still learning about all this and I appreciate all feedback.)
He’s definitely the most cocky of the team and likes to show off his skills and flexibility, which can get annoying fast at first - and that’s his main goal. He likes messing with people via sheer force of exuberance alone, and while he will apologize if it goes too far, for the most part he enjoys the irritation he can cause. This is a leftover of the comedic act he used to do with his cousin in the troupe, and it’s his weird way of showing affection.
He is incredibly afraid of birds, which has caused problems for him on some of the outings near RF and after RF gets turned into a giant fuckoff floating school, as birds became even more commonplace on campus. He was chased by a pair of swans when he was 8 for almost two hours, which has left him with a deep fear and respect for most birds. He doesn’t have problems with tiny birds, but anything as big as a pigeon or more is an issue.
Helia
While he is in decent terms with Saladin, especially after the whole Darkar deal, he’s still estranged to the rest of his family, as he comes from a long, long line of warriors and fighters and for him to not want part in any of that has left him ostracized. His focus on the arts is partly also getting all his resentment and anger at his family (who technically dropped him at the drop of a hat when he left RF) into work, and he has a whole private collection of only his vent paintings. Only his father and mother still talk with him, and have tried to make the rest understand as well.
He initially started as a simple Sorcerer when he passed the transformation test, but after a few years he followed the path of Witches and has stayed like that since, as negative feelings seem to come to him far more easily. His name of Witch of Alloys comes from his knowledge on metal forging and molding, as that’s the way he tends to apply his magic - as if forming, shaping and straightening the magic.
While he is the most calm of the main guys, he’s almost as dramatic as Nex can be when in the right mood, and when teamed up, they’re incredibly insufferable as they feed off each other’s antics. He can also come off as arrogant with his art.
Nabu
He was essentially created with a sole purpose: to marry Princess Aisha of Andros and secure his family a spot in the royal lineage. He was trained from practically birth to be a good spouse and king, and as such was teached a variety of politics and household task for this. As the years passed, however, Nabu grew sick and tired of it, so a few days after the official announcement of the engagement between him and Aisha, he ran away from Andros and ended up in Magix during a randomized Teleportia spell. He went as Ophir for months and started working in a local museum, while also keeping tabs on news about Andros and Aisha. This is how he find out about her attending Alfea, and tries to arrange a meeting with her somehow.
He got a higher score for Witch in the WSFST (Witch/Sorcerer/Fairy Standarized Test), but chose to become a Fairy regardless. His power is over shadows and darkness, which was a huge help when escaping Andros without people foiling his plan. He’s the Fairy of Shadows due to his preferred strategy of using any shadow to hide himself as well as manipulate how others perceive it.
He’s naturally nice and affable, and tries to avoid conflict as much as he can, but he can get very passionate about other people’s lives as well as of the things he enjoys, which can end in very weird ways. He shares Diaspro’s love for soap operas and when they meet, they tend to yell at the screen together a LOT. They also relate to each other in their feelings of not being allowed agency on their own lives.
Roy
He’s a Red Fountain alumni, and started working as a sea captain for the Royal Family of Andros a few months after graduating, though he was already working for them during the summers as part of the main boat’s crew. He has known Aisha since she was a little kid, and Aisha considers him a big brother of sorts, though occasionally she’ll refer to him as her Uncle Roy as a joke.
He’s a Sorcerer in Energix, and he got said form after recovering from a nasty magic-resistant illness - having been stuck in Red Fountain for so long, a quick trip around the schools ended up with him absorbing so much ambient aura that the form unlocked on its own. His powers are over wind and air. He doesn’t transform much despite this, as he received more formal training in non-magical combat due to not having fast access to Epsila College for supplementary classes and didn’t really pursue them after graduating either.
He has such a casual way of talking that he has accidentally called a lot of nobles and even the royal family itself as “dude” or by their first names, which has miffed a lot of people and has caused troubles in his job whenever he gets one of the unnecesarily-vindictive nobles. Teredor has raised his eyebrow once or twice whenever he does this, but Niobe finds it endearing and Aisha doesn’t care, which is why he still has a job despite so many noble families claiming for his firing because he didn’t treat them “like nobility”.
Thoren
He’s the son of the original heir to the throne of Eraklyon, before he was forced to step down due to a very particular incident involving him and a mad fairy named Campana. He was raised as nobility and interacted with Sky quite a bit when they were younger, but he’s not really close to him or the rest of the family for that matter, as he always kept to himself.
He’s a bibliophile to the max, loving to read any kind of books and spending his days alone in the castle’s library absorbing as much information as he can. He’s very well-read as a result, but that came with a lack of social skills, which became apparent when he became a Paladin.
He became one of the youngest Paladins to have fully finished his training and studies, as he started and finished in just 4 months, when even Daphne took a year and a half to properly finish herself. He’s well-trained in fighting and healing, but he acts mostly as an ambassador and for talks, as his meek appearance is suited for speaking roles. This came to bite him in the ass, as his awkwardness around people ends up covered by his need to not mess up, which ends in a long, continous internal screaming during speeches during his first years. He has gotten better at talking over time, but he’s still very nervous in very big or important meetings regardless.

Do you think Bloom gets too much screen time? She is the main character of the show but people say it focuses on her too much
Nope lol
Well, let me clarify that
I mean all the villains from 1-3 and ~4 are personal to Bloom, and she's not much of a screen hog
In s1 she and we lean about the world and about everything, and a unsurprising amount of screen time is given to Riven and his arc and Riven's basically always been the main character of the male characters (which is really funny because s7). So all of this makes sense, the two people who have the most important arcs get the most amount of screen time, with Bloom getting the most because duh and also learning about the world
S2 pushes Bloom back, she's still the main character, but the conflict of S2 (Dark Bloom) turns Bloom herself into a non entity. Letting all the other characters, especially new girl Aisha, shine. This was an excellent choice, chill out the Bloom focus and give us more of the other girls
S3 I feel has weird priories, not specifically about Bloom but in general. I love s3 but it is certainly trying to do a lot and gets it's a mess sometimes. Like how it doesn't show what Sky and Brandon are doing on Eraklyon, what Aisha was doing on Andros, or what Tecna was doing on Omega. This isn't because it over focus's on Bloom tho, the most egregious examples of this is the fucking pixie episode. Also the fact that there are two finales?? Why??? But it's not because of an over focus on Bloom lol
S4 is also fine when it comes to Bloom screentime. She is literally just vibing with her girls. It's more like everyone except Flora and Tecna we're hogging screen time
Then you get to s5 AND OH MY GET HER OFF THE SCREEN!!! AISHA'S FAMILY IS IN DANGER BLOOM I DO NOT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR ANNOYING ASS BOYFRIEND. I liked Sky, and then they made his s5 personality and subjected me to the worst subplot in the show yet and I am GOING TO BITE SOMEONE. We get like 2 moments of Aisha coming to terms with Nabu's death and a entire COMPLETELY MEANINGLESS subplot about Sky losing his memory. Apparently Aisha doesn't even get to defeat the main villain even though he's her cousin???? THIS is Bloom getting too much screen time. The writers prioritizing Bloom is actively harming Aisha's character arc and story and taking time a away from a much more interesting plot line for bullshit. If you wanted to focus on Bloom MAYBE DON'T MAKE THE ENEMY PERSONAL TO AISHA???
I will never understand why people complain about Bloom getting too much screen time in s1-4, like aside from not liking her character, a real narrative dislike. But in s5? Yeah I get it. Bloom is actively stealing narrative beats from Aisha. Like how she stole Musa's dream in s4. Tbh s4 was just the set up for Bloom being a fucking plot line THEIF. But the Nick era seasons are kinda known for bad writing???? So uh, yeah, that would be another example of later seasons Winx being bad™
So "Does Bloom get too much screen time?" Not in the seasons that are good, also not in s4
