songstories - a series where spliffy writes whatever comes to mind when she hears a song.
⚠️ mainly fluff !!
todays tune:
kingpin!reiner is literally a stoic chunk of man. like he does not lose the hardened expression on his face. not even when he gets good news. he keeps a poker face the entire time, leaving his men to question if he ever cracks a smile or even a tear. literally has no emotion whatsoever when in the trap. really only focusing on making his money, his supply, and making sure his employees are properly looked after. he doesn’t smile when plug!connie makes a joke, or when plug!eren overreacts when armin purposely hands him less then his usual ounce to distribute to his clients.
but…
kingpin!reiner let’s his stern, cold face go the second he enters his home and finds you, his beautiful wife, by the stove, swaying your hips to the r&b that comes from the bluetooth speaker as you prepare dinner for him. your dressed in a pair of his boxers and a bralette, humming the tune of the song as you flip over the steaks in the pan.
his shoulders drop and he lets out a sigh of relaxation, finally able to hang up the hard act. he doesn’t approach you just yet, he first leans against the wall to take in the sight before him. you in pure contentment, preparing one of his favorite meals. when you see him, your lips pull back to reveal a sparkling smile, eyes cheery and cheeks swelling at the sights of your husband.
“hi baby! i didn’t hear you come in.” you quickly go to him so that you could engulf him in a hug, your slippers shuffling against the hardwood floor as you wrapped your arms around his neck and hugged him tight. reiner picked you up with ease, a hum of satisfaction when he had you in his arms. it always made you giggle when he would carry you, the amount of times you tell him you may be too heavy but he shrugs it off.
“my pretty girl” he gives you a playful slap on the bum, kissing your cheek as he walked you back to the stove. “smells so good, baby.”
“thank you, bubs. i wanted to make your favorite tonight,” you unwrap your legs from his waist to stand back at the stove and get back to the steaks. your mashed potatoes and roasted veggies were already done, and reiner fought the urge to help himself to a quick taste from the pot. you would pop his hand if he did, you’ve done it before.
he wrapped a big arm around your shoulders, giving you a sweet kiss to the temple. “i love you mama. lemme go wash up.” with another hit to your bum, he smiled before walking into the bedroom to take a shower. he smelt like weed and sweat— a smell you grew to live with but one he hated. he didn’t want his work life to stink up his home life. not when he had you to come home to.
when he came back, smelling fresh and clean dressed in some pajama pants and a t shirt, the food was plated and you were pouring wine into two glasses.
“your too good to me, baby.” he let his hand spread across your back, rubbing the lower part and then moving to your stomach, massaging the soft skin between his fingers.
“mm not now. you have to eat.” you try to pry his hand away but he squeezes your stomach, pulling you flush against him. you could feel his hard on press against you, he even bucked his hips up a few times to grind against you.
yet , kingpin!reiner obliges once you face him with your plump lips in a pout, whining that messing around would make the food cold and not as good as it is now. so he takes a seat across from you, grinning at the food before him. he only smiled in relation to you. whether it be at the sight of you or the look on his face when he sees your home cooked meals. if it had nothing to do with you, his beautiful and doting wife, then it was not worth his time.
his workers would gawk at the sight, if they could see it. they never believed their leader could smile. but only if they could see him now, sitting before you with a smile reaching his eyes and ears, heart shaped irises focusing on how beautiful you are and how lucky he is to have you.
kingpin!reiner was a stoic chunk of man, unless he was around his lovely wife.
