Journalist Hossam Azam documents efforts by citizens of north Gaza to pool their scant resources and use donated funds to purchase expensive food items and distribute them to families at no cost. They were able to provide nutritious meals for 50 families.

Yet another IOF atrocity in northern Gaza today.
Earlier in the day, a very, very small shipment of flour entered north Gaza. The shipment was pathetically small, apparently one van and one truck for 800,000 people. People gathered on the beach by the thousands, hoping to get a bag of flour to take home and feed their families. Gazans know that gathering in large groups and/or in open spaces makes them especially vulnerable to Israeli snipers and bombardment. They choose to risk their lives anyway because the alternative is starvation. Nooh Al-Shaghnobi shows a fraction of the massive crowd in this photo.
The IOF has been targeting Civil Defense workers, so crowd control and efficient distribution were impossible. People scrambled for the smallest scrap of aid, but the vast majority would receive nothing. Many people continued to wait even after the aid was gone. The shore was packed with thousands of desperate, starving people when the IOF opened fire on them. At least five people were trampled to death due to the chaos.

Concerning reports coming out of north Gaza this morning
Resistance News Network claims on Telegram that the occupation supposedly allowed some women and children under the age of 14 to return to their homes in north Gaza via Rashid Street.
However, journalist Hossam Shabat says that the IOF has denounced this as completely false, advising people not to approach the area or try to return to the north, as it is still an active war zone. RNN provides photographic and video evidence, while Hossam directly cites the words of the occupation.
Journalist Anas Al-Sharif reports this on his Telegram channel as well, citing the same evidence.
Meanwhile journalist Saed Al-Zaneen reports on Telegram that some people are trying to return to their homes in the north of their own initiative. Some occupation squads *may* be allowing this in certain areas, but it is not sanctioned by IOF leadership and could change at any time. He warns that the troops may suddenly attack the people trying to return, and that the occupation is not to be trusted.
We will continue monitoring the situation, but advise our followers not to spread word of any return of displaced people to the north right now, at least until circumstances are much more clear
UPDATE AT TIME OF PUBLISHING: Hossam Shabat reports occupation vehicles are now advancing on Al-Rashid Street in Gaza City. Saed Al-Zaneen reports this as well. He now also reports one martyr and one wounded person have arrived at Al-Awda Hospital in north Gaza after they tried to return to the north via Al-Rashid Street. He reports they are being attacked from helicopters and provides documentation. Resistance News Network reports this as well. Journalist Momin Abu Owda also documents this Journalist Ismail Al-Ghoul is at Al-Nabulsi Roundabout on Al-Rashid Street and reports no sign of people being able to return.
The situation is obviously in flux. I need to go to bed, but I will review the situation when I wake up. Please follow the cited sources and use a translation software as needed.

Journalist Hossam Azam takes cover behind a pile of debris as he documents yet another IOF attack on people seeking humanitarian aid at Kuwait Roundabout. This location is one of the only sites for humanitarian aid distribution in north Gaza, and it has been frequently attacked by the IOF as a result. Civil Defense rescuer Nooh Al-Shaghnobi has called Kuwait Roundabout “Roundabout of Death” due to the frequent attacks on civilians by the IOF.
A few weeks ago, the IOF bombed the area while thousands had gathered to receive aid, killing at least 20 and injuring more than 100. They also attack with snipers, firing into the crowd and causing panic, which is what they did today. After shooting with live ammunition, they began shelling the fleeing civilians, resulting in a currently unspecified number of martyrs and injuries.

Journalist Hossam Azam documents a father in north Gaza using scraps of paper to try to sift spilled flour out of sand. The man cannot get any aid, so he resorts to painstaking measures in order to bring home anything edible for his family. Snipers, tanks, gun boats, and drones or war planes may attack the beach at any moment, especially when there is a crowd gathered in hopes of aid. The man does it anyway because the chance to feed his family is worth more than his own life.

Journalist Hossam Azam documents an aid distribution site in north Gaza. The air is thick with spilled flour from broken packages, and dust kicked up by the thousands of people who came in search of food. Most of them went away with nothing, as the supply that the occupation allows to enter is astronomically insufficient to meet the demand.

Journalist Hossam Azam documents the chaos and panic as thousands of civilians run for their lives. Just before this, the IOF fired directly into a group of civilians waiting for humanitarian aid. A casualty account is not yet available.
It goes without saying how incredibly illegal and deplorable this is. And yet it has become so common-place that news outlets hardly even mention it.
Warning: footage is not graphic but it is upsetting

Journalist Hossam Azam documents one of the impacts of the disorganized “aid” deliveries to north Gaza: injuries caused by chaos, desperation, and large crowds. This young man was able to get a bag of flour, but he sustained an injury to his knee in order to do so.
Warning: mild injury, lightly graphic

Despite the continued presence of IOF ground troops, and an especially violent bout of bombing last night and today, journalist Hossam Azam documents how the people of Gaza are determined to carry on. Some produce from people’s gardens and the few surviving farms and greenhouses were gathered at a marketplace.

It is 8 am Gaza time and 1 am US Eastern time. As of now, from what we are seeing from multiple people on the ground in the north, there has been a *partial* withdrawal of IOF troops. It is NOT a full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and it is NOT a full withdrawal from north Gaza.
Many areas of northwest Gaza report withdrawals, but other parts of north Gaza are still besieged by IOF ground troops. Momin Abu Owda reported that Al-Tawam Junction in the northwest is now free of IOF troops for the first time since the ground invasion began (link below). However, Shukri Filfil reported that Al-Rimal in Gaza City, which is in the southern portion of north Gaza, is still under attack by IOF troops. Eshak Daour reported IOF firing gas bombs at him and a group of civilians in Beit Lahiya, which is more in the central area of north Gaza. Hossam Azam reported ground clashes very near to his location, although his exact location is not yet clear. Ahmed Kouta reported that although the ground troops pulled out of northwest Gaza, they have moved on to other parts of north Gaza, such as the central and southern regions (link below). All but the first and the latter appeared on Instagram Stories and as such there is no permanent working link, so message us for screenshots if desired. Mahmoud Ziad also documented the continued incursion of IOF personnel and machinery around Al-Shifa Hospital in the southwestern region of north Gaza, which Ismail Al-Ghoul reported as well.
The partial withdrawal is being documented by Momin Abu Owda, Dr. Tamer Al-Najjar, Mahmoud Sabbah, Hassan Hamad, Mahmoud Al-Awadia, Mahmoud Abusalama, Abood Abusalama, Mahmoud Shalha, Karam Naji, Ahmed Kouta, Anas Al-Sharif, Ismail Al-Ghoul, Fadi Al-Whidi, and more will be added as we find them.
