Oh my gosh it's the bby gurl Peter Lorre!!!!!! Playing with kitties! (He is often seen with cats in his movies for some reason <3) Did you know that it's also where this famous image is from:

Anyways I'm so flattered you thought of meee when you saw this! This is a promotional picture for the movie Tales of Terror from 1962! Usually I kinda avoid movies from when Peter Lorre is over because uhh *cough* you can probably tell why. But I liked this movie! I mean I'm VERY biased towards cats. His segment of the movie was a retelling of the Edgar Allen Poe story The Black Cat. Hence why they're playing with cats. It's a very loose retelling but very funny.

I wonder where that replica of Peter Lorre's head went. You know I can't help but think the gag of Slappy's head coming off and rolling around in Squidferatu/Slappy Daze might be a reference to this movie. It could also be a reference to Yetch from Mad Monster Party. Or both idk.

Oh to play hot potato with Slappy's head like they did with Peter's in this movie! <3

This movie is also where I got the idea for my Vincent Price fish having a crush on Slippy. I mostly based my character Leonard Gillies off of Vincent Price in this movie. I wanted to draw the scene where Peter's character found out his best friend and his wife were fraternizing and he decides to hole them up in the wall. Except it's all mostly Leonard's delusions and a cruel prank from Slappy. Slippy is also playing along too but she wouldn't mind being buried alive in the walls tbh

OKAY FOLKS Last week we asked you to name a great actor who is also a great singer. This wasn't random, a famous director wanted to get some casting thoughts for his upcoming movie, and asked us to post that. Because of you guys, Jensen Ackles is pretty much top of his list!

A lot of you are asking more details about the movie, we don't even know. The director didn't want his name said, but as soon as we can say more, you better believe we will. Our job is done at this point, but thank you all for chiming in, couldn't have done it without cha

Do they seriously expect people to believe that this is how someone is cast? By a horror museum doing an internet survey looking for actors?

I call Scam on this and it's just what they are using for self promotion, I bet. Credible directors work with talent agencies, managers and reputable casting offices.

Huh-huh, a "famous director" is totally going to go with fan casting lol, not. But it's a great way to drum up free publicity, which is why studio/producers/directors encourage fan casting when they've already decided on an actor. For example, Vivien Leigh was already signed onto Gone with the Wind when the studio concocted the widely publicized search for Scarlett as a publicity stunt. Windies (GwtW fans) launched publications campaigning for their favorite actresses and talk to their non-Windies friends about the book and what actress could possibly play the iconic Scarlet O’Hara on the silver screen even though unbeknownst to them the role had already been cast.

This body takeover mirror scene looks like it inspired Katherine's mirror scene after she took over Elena's body. People say Katherine doing that was ooc and ruined her character, but I beg to differ. She was too jealous.

Katherine is split with Elena because she's a 500+ year old vampire that used to be human. Katherine feels Elena is boring. Her dull as dishwater doppelganger. She feels the same of human Damon. It's less about the person and more about the fact that she finds humans dull and boring. Vampire Katherine is adventurous, wild spirited. She's not wife material. Hell, she's not even sister material. There's no domesticating her. She's not fit for a human life because dull and boring isn't her scene. That's why cured Katherine is hilarious to watch. You can see her issue with the dull, boring life lol.

But I agree. She's extremely jealous of Elena despite how dull and boring she considers her life to be. Elena has everything Katherine wanted, but could never keep because of the vampire she is. Because she's not capable of that kind of life, nor would she ever be. Allow Katherine to take the lives of 100 doppelgangers, I guarantee she'd waste every single one of them with her selfishness. Elena has everything because she cherishes everything she has. If Katherine didn't look like Elena, she'd have nothing going for her. I consider Katherine a true waste of space.

It already was. Remaining shooting is theoretically going to be outdoors or in established non-studio sets (kinda like bars and gas stations are). /Feels bad, I was hoping they would leave it and make it part of a CW's Supernatural Tour or something after the finale. I know, I know, I'm already putting on my clown make up.
