Friday, August 3rd - Jazz N Soul Music First Friday at Ella's featuring a night of smooth and funky jazz, featuring Jazz Munkee! Prepare to hear smooth jazz blended with classic and neo soul anchored by Paul Little on Drums, Felix Anthony on Guitar, and Michael Carter on Bass!

Six incredibly talented musicians-all coming from different musical backgrounds-come together to form one of the most requested bands in the Southeast. Saxophonist Dante Lewis has been wowing audiences throughout the Carolinas since the age of 12 with an unmistakably passionate sound. In addition to the Low Country Jazz Festival where he met Nick Colionne, Lewis has performed at other high profile venues, including opening for Jonathan Butler as part of the Charlotte, NC jazz series, the Cool Jazz Cruise, and Charlotte’s Bearden Birthday Bash. Quentin Talley, acclaimed for multiple talents, is an accomplished poet, actor, director, and producer. He is the inaugural recipient of the 2012 Leadership Fellowship for emerging theater professionals, administered by Theater Communications Group and funded by The Andrew Mellon Foundation.
