How do you relate to challenges in your life? . I'm always interested in trying out new meditations and practices. Among other things, I've been using the Wim Hof method for a while now as it helps me wake up a bit in the morning. I've also used biofeedback, breathwork, vagal toning, timeline work, soul retrieval, integral life practice and many other weird and (mostly) wonderful practices. . But still, here i am, banging on about mindfulness and how wonderful it is. Even when actually, the hype train for Mindfulness as moved on and people are making significantly less of a fuss about it than they use to. Despite all this here i am, still trying to get you all to use it more. . Reasons to practice mindfulness (154 of 1,000): What breathwork, Wim Hoff and lots of these far more trendy practices miss is the relationship you have with your mind. All of these things might make you feel more relaxed or calmer or blissful or whatever, but if doing this pushes any anxiety to the side, this isn't really helpful. As eventually, the state will wear off, and the anxiety will be back. . With proper mindfulness (as in, one that goes further than just focusing on the breath), we work on how we relate to challenging feelings in a way that helps you to process them in a direct way.. I've found that breathwork is a brilliant way to settle into a mindfulness practice, but for me, it's essential to compliment it with a mindfulness practice so you can see, on a deeper level, what's going on - and work with it, if need be.
