Marks & Spencer have started using laser-printed labels on their Avocados in a bid to reduce their paper waste

A team of engineers from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign came up with this robotic bat designed for surveying building sites from the air.

One of the team members, Alireza Ramezani, explained why it was challenging for her team to develop a robot patterned after a bat, saying that “Bats have a very complex body morphology compared to birds or insects. Their wings are very articulated, with many joints.”
