I haven't actually watch an entire season, I watched the hermitcraft recap on season 8, and a the first like 5 episodes of grian and scar on season 9, and I'm trying to watch Joel now, but I'm only 2 episodes out of 5 in

Zedaph is so insanely and unusually underated that every time I think about it I swear I lose at least a year off my lifespan. It's just so baffling to me. He's like Grian, Mumbo, and Scar combined (with maybe a dash of Joe Hills) like how is he not someone that everyone watches like those three are? Humans are strange...

I think the Grian fishing thing is fun but the way the fandom is so obsessed with it makes me kinda annoyed.

Gems whole thing is about creepy fish stuff and yet people make creepy fish stuff about Grian instead. He just spent weeks doing nothing but fishing, then he threw a fucking Harry Potter build under his base while Gem is actively trying to make her base creepy and she's started putting vibe reminders at the end of her videos and she's idk. Trying to make her stuff creepy and fishy.

Can I get some actually creepy fish stuff for Gem I'm starving here. I think they're a fun duo but I feel like it's going the way that people will only see this duo as creepy fish guy Grian and his plus one.

While I agree with the whole "don't be mad at grian fans for making everything about grian, make everything about your own fav hermit, be more insane about your own blorbos" I think the issue with that is that people are insane about their own blorbos. People just don't reblog it because it's not their blorbo.

I'd love to see more hermits on my dash instead of just grian but when most of the fandom is so focused on Grian and they ignore a lot of the other fan art it gets annoying.

I see posts about other hermits get way less notes and sometimes I feel lucky I got to see it at all. I love grian and I love seeing all the fanart but sometimes I wish the people with tunnel vision on grian would reblog stuff NOT about him too.

I have my favorite hermit, i post about them a lot and I reblog a lot of their stuff. But if I see fanart or a fanfic of a hermit I don't usually watch? I reblog it anyway. I want people to see others and to potentially branch out!

Seeing all the cool fanart and fanfics made me watch beef this season!

i don't think that tagging triads with their sub-ships (??) is cross-tagging. it still is content for that ship. if it's an issue of disliking the triad as a whole, you can block the tag, or block any of the sub-pairs for that matter. but if you do like the triad and all the sub-pairs, why would it ever be a problem to scroll past a mumscarian post in the scarian/redscape/grumbo tags? it do be scarian, redscape, and grumbo content

People aren’t ready for the fact that False brings the most yuri to the table in Hermitcraft. You guys just aren’t for the crazy ambiguously homoerotic situationship that she has to have with at least one(1) woman every season

this is a very small grievance but it’s something that annoys me simply because i’m a huge fan of the game dredge, and that is: the purple fish at gem’s lighthouse is not just a purple version of the gold fish, it’s meant to be similar to the aberrated fish in the game dredge! those fish are almost alien in their appearances, and exist because there is something evil corrupting them!

i assume most people just don’t know about this, but i’m sure that if they did, it’d make gem’s base even more interesting as it implies there is something that is affecting the waters around magical mountain!

i wish that there were more low-fanon or fanon-free blogs on hermitblr. i don’t really like bird!grian, watcher lore, or other stuff that has no basis in canon (no hate to people who do; just not my thing) and it’s difficult to curate that kind of space on here

any time i see a hotguy au i get excited but every time when i see its another au where its either about cuteguy or its a college au i get disappointed again.

glad people are having fun but please i just wanna read about an actual adult living an adult life while also being a superhero. i dont need to read about the 100th college au.

also i dont understand the hype around cuteguy. grian never even wore the skin. dont get me wrong the skin looks cool and i think the idea of cuteguy is fun but scar is RIGHT THERE. hotguy is RIGHT THERE. hes been such a menace it makes me kinda annoyed when i see another hotguy au thats about grian whos the villain while hotguy is the good guy. at least make it about poultry man if anything.

im just very annoyed when i see a hotguy au thats about cuteguy when cuteguy was barely canon. if you wanna make a hotguy au grian centric at least make him poultry man and make it into a poultry man au.

sorry to everyone who likes this but oh my god hotguy was a MENACE. he kills people FOR FUN. HE WOULD NOT BE A GOOD GUY. hed call himself a hero but he absolutely isnt one.

personally I dont like how people design Bdubs looking and acting like a little kid. Don't get me wrong, the designs people make are amazing and men deserve to be cute and silly sometimes, but it feels like people make Bdub's entire personality "ohh hes short and innocent and child-like" and its just not true and an oversimplification of his character entirely. Let him be hairy and muscular and give him a bit of facial hair!!

People who hate Grian and Grian fans can actually be a lot more annoying that Grian or Grian fans themselves, sometimes. Some of them can't go two seconds talking about their blorbos without pausing to say that they're better than Grian, or mentioning how "Grian/Grian fans ruin everything"

Just post about your blorbos without mentioning Grian, I promise you it's allowed! (Or at least complain on separate posts, that works too) Absolutely Do Not come onto people's posts about their love of their smaller blorbos and twist it into being about your hatred of Grian/Grian fans, that just makes me want to post about my smaller blorbos less out of fear of uncalled-for Grian hate in my notes, and want to post about Grian more out of spite

(this applies to other popular character fan haters too, btw)
