#oh lads. its not looking good for my genomics exam on Thursday. its all fucked#i dunno. its just been a weird day. bc one of my lab mates is getting ready to go to the astr0biology science conference#and its just so wild how i got here. into the perfect position. i have a great advisor. a great phd project. a committee member who is super#integrated with n4sa astr0biology projects. and so many of the instructors are amazing. my genomics prof is terrifyingly smart#so is my advisor and his wife. and the program is great. ecology and Evolution. its perfect. its all perfect#and yet. and yet. it just feels like its all falling apart. ive lost that compulsive thing thats always set in my chest#and now all i want to do is lay on the floor and cry and sleep and not do anything. why am i so tired?#its just so frustrating. and im sure ive got the most wretched vibes bc im constantly like 1 comment away from bursting into tears#like 2 weeks and its done. then im off to find a summer job. and find a long term job. and consider throwing away everything ive ever worked#toward. just let it all burn. im so tired. and i dont get to see my therapist until Monday. thats gonna b fun#hi. hello. since last i saw you my life has crumbled into pieces. ugh. i just dont wanna fail this genomics exam but it looks like that's#where we're headed. maybe i should have just dipped out of these last 3 weeks. but no. i didnt want to leave the lady i ta for 100 lab#reports to unexpectedly have to grade 4 days before grades are due. ugh. itll b fine. i mean it wont but whatever#unrelated

#like. he and his partner just spent a week biking in italy and having a fab time while i'm studying for ib finals at home and taking exams#supposedly the most stressful and busiest month in our lives so far#and now the entire day he's been getting on my ass about how the kitchen table (where i study) is messy and how the bathroom is untidy etc#like mister hello?? i'm trying to learn my entire high school's worth of material in one month and you can't move one notebook before eatin#and i'm honestly handling it well so far. getting everything done. not super stressed. working very very late but sleeping enough#while also taking care of a cat and a dog with no help every day#he's had literally zero work with my entire education and all the straight As (admittedly more cause i remember fast than due to hard work)#but by how he's talking you'd think i'm doing heroin under his roof every day and routinely setting our house on fire#*long sigh*#noodle rambles

#hello everyone yes i'm still alive but at what cost? 😭#i am absolutely EXHAUSTED#survived 2 practical & one written exam this week but one of the practical exams went horribly 😭#it was microscopy & i just suck at that i never see what you're supposed to be seeing 😭😭😭#and you can't study for it either bc either you recognize what you see under the microscope or you don't & unfortunately i don't 😭😭😭#we're even allowed to use books & our own sketches but i still got it wrong 🙃#i was so busy this week i didn't even have time to reblog cute posts about march... school is getting in the way of me being a tumblrina 🙄#and rn i'm supposed to be studying as well bc i have one of the most difficult exams in a few days but i have an excruciating migraine 🤕#yesterday i didn't study either bc it was my dad's birthday & we celebrated a little with our family & now i feel guilty for it 😞#i honestly have no idea when & how i'm supposed learn & remember ALL of this material bc it's simply an insane amount#please pray for me that i'll pass this exam idec about the grade anymore i just want to pass that's how desperate i am 😭😭😭😭#let's hope the ibuprofen i took kicks in soon so i can get at least a little studying done today 😕#i wish i could just hibernate through the next few weeks i am drained 😣#☁️

//One thing I’ve never explored in depth is the possibility of Cayin entering the Hunter’s Nightmare as he seeks further information on the events leading up to Yharnam’s current situation. I imagine it to be a significantly harder place to reach than the main game’s Yharnam, so Cayin (not able to afford the luxury of having an amygdala grab this sneaky spy) would need to take some special measures to get there.
It’s definitely something that I’d like to explore sooner than later, since it would open up potential characters for him to interact with (well, I’ve always been open to him interacting with muses from the DLC but I think a more concrete idea of how he gets there and what he’s looking for would help when plotting those interactions).
#ooc#hello! I'm almost at the finish line the last exam's on Friday and then I'll be free#-well. The next semester starts immediately after fsdhfsdjfhd BUT that will be a new beginning and be immensely better for my mood#it's been a bit rough (nothing too extreme) though I'm actually handling it better this week#also partially because I've made up my mind that I'm gonna see a psychologist I've been recommended as soon as the last exam's done#I've been hesitant but I think I've had enough proof that while I'm getting better at this I still need help to learn how to handle stress#and with that keep working on improving my focus. Make the most of time and keep doings the things that bring me joy even when I'm busy#anyways I'm not quite at 100% in terms of writing. But I do want to try to broaden my current interactions a bit#be around more often and engage more with the community#may this week be kind to you!
