Yeah sorry Susan I can’t make it into work today because I saw a giant stick bug and it scared me but then its voice entered me like the first breath I had ever taken and for a moment I experienced a beatific arthropod apotheosis on a cosmic scale. For a thousand lifetimes I was in a silent enochian conversation with this creature that saw the tiny, mangled god within me that I had done all in my power to destroy, and was in awe of it. And in this mutual majesty my mind’s eye streamed tears of rapturous joy at the sheer beauty of this world and our existence as children of eternity.
The lab supply order? Tranh can cover for me on that, but in the meantime all I have the energy to do is stare at this photo that is now all that remains of that transient moment, a grave marked in a burst of chemically concocted color that blooms before me in a tableau of the Creation of Adam as imagined by Heironymous Bosch where a wretched, piss-stinking mortal man reaches out to an ineffable chitinous god-beast.
The QC program? I’ll do it when I get back. Bye. May we meet again at The Gloaming.
(So anyway, I finished Disco Elysium and literally wept when the Insulindian Phasmid spoke to Harry.)
