hates ushering because of the amount of older people and classmates that are rude to her. box office can be similar but she only has to deal with a rude customer once in a while, so it’s a lot chiller

Van Palmer

I wholeheartedly believe she worked in a movie theater pre-crash, by sheer proximity of her little video store in the adult timeline. TaiVan movie theater dates are real to me </3

gets sleeby at box office but enjoys ushering and concessions because there’s the most to do. Definitely doesn’t sneak Tai and Nat in through the back of the theater and slip away from work to visit them

Mindy Meeks-Martin

She would eat UP those free/discounted movie tickets working at a movie theater gives you. She def used that to take Tara and Amber to see Nope 🫶

Randy Meeks

He worked at one for, like, a summer, and decided he liked working at the video store WAY more (why get free theater tickets when you gets discounts on renting movies you can watch over and over again?)

Liked box office the most so he could talk to customers about their movie choices, either complimenting them on their taste or maybe not-so-silently judge them. Stu, Sidney, and Tatum (occasionally just Stu and Billy) would always come to his theater to terrorise him (lovingly)

Richie Kirsch

also eats up those free movie tickets. felt bad about not giving money to the franchise he loves when he went to see Stab 8 but after leaving the theater furious and disappointed, his tune about that def changed

Richie’s capable of being a charming (if not awkward) guy, so he definitely did great at being a greeter. Richie in the box office is pretty similar to Randy, enthusiastically talking to customers about the movies they’re seeing (though he’s a little more quiet with his disapproval lmao). Tabby Hawthorne

another canon one but she and Mouse are the only mfs I could stand in this show and I can confirm local small theaters don’t do background checks smh 🤦 if you or a person you know has been personally victimized by a weird male employee at your local movie theater you may be entitled to financial compensation

Lester Averman

I was about to say Guy but then I remembered Averman canonically worked at a theater in D2!!!!

I’m gonna assume he worked at someplace big and fancy like AMC, so he probably shifted between concessions, greeter, and usher. BITCHES about working usher (his co-workers are so sick of him fr) because despite doing hockey, the soreness half way through a shift is real. Gets put up front as greeter the most, snoozes whenever he’s put in box office. He likes working concessions the best (and definitely doesn’t steal food from the company)

Guy Germaine (+ Connie Moreau)

fuck it, these two join Averman next summer at the movie theater and terrorise their co-workers by being so obnoxiously in love (martial problems? Never heard of her)

Guy is a naturally charming greeter (to Averman’s eternal annoyance) and customers absolutely adore him. Connie can’t be in box office anymore because she refuses to take shit from rude customers (and Guy just gets mildly annoyed, and Connie jumps to his defense). So now Connie just bounces between the different shifts, kinda favours ushering because she finds it (mostly) chill.

Eric Bemis

Eric is a concessions guy and if he works at a big theater like AMC he’s certifiably insane, I hate that part I hate it here. Definitely can get overwhelmed by it but he prefers it over the strain of working usher and the rude people are mostly up at box office and he’d end up so anxious, he’d let minors into R-rated movie. Rip king fly high 😔🕊

For starters, I heard you were tired and maybe not feelin so hot, so here is a sleeby Nox, hiding her nosey and using my earbud charger as a pillow

Secondly, more dead bird!

Huldra Henry but in the canon setting. Just Henry having to hide his hooves, ears, and tail when dancing. Maybe he has a glamour spell to conceal himself, maybe he can magically take a more human form. Whatever it is, seeing Emma makes his glamour falter, and he desperately has to try and hide whatever appeared.

Just Emma walking into a room, smiles at Henry, and suddenly he's hiding his ears and his cheeks are bright red. They start dancing and he gets two left feet because his hooves decided to make an appearance in dress shoes. They pass each other in a book store and he has to hide behind a shelf because his tail popped into existence and started wagging like crazy.

Emma is the first to find out during their balcony visit (I'm STEALING that scenario, it is SO CUTE, I love the idea of him climbing up to her balcony to spend time together), because she laught at something he said and he was so starstruck by how pretty she is that his glamour completely fell. Emma being so accepting after the initial shock and joining in on the 'help Henry hide his Huldra-ness' (say that five times fast-) game.

The bbys having littol tails and hooves and floppy ears is my life though. Just the clumsy lil hooves on the hardwood. Henry having to coach them in using magic. I know Huldra aren't like fauns or goats or anything but I love the idea of them just.. doing the Baby Yell that deers and goats do. Just

"You have to take a bath."

"MWEEEEH!!"

"No attitude, young lady! You played in the mud, you need to get clean!"

"MWEEEEEEEEEHHH!!!"

"Well, 'mweeeh' to you, too! Now, let's get you in the tub."

ANYWAYS DEAD BIRD MY BELOVED HELL YES

GFGFGFGGFFGFbfG ok just. Henry not knowing how to act human until he met Robert so that's why he quite literally learned everything from smiling to dancing from him, he learns to mimic humans early on (maybe his mother was a fullblooded huldra and since Huldras are mostly female, she was VERY confused when Henry was a boy and ergo, tried to teach him how seduce people and ergo, he needed to take on a human disguise) and he uses it to his advantage when he wants to almost become a human, and when he wants to join into human society. For so many years his disguise was almost perfect, and then Emma comes into the picture and it just feels like everything falls down. Suddenly Henry is stuttering and his face is blushing and his feet turns into cloves and he almost trips over himself when trying to dance with her. He has to hide his ears in his hair or act like he got a headache so he can excuse himself to gather himself. His tail always wants to make an appearance when he sees her (that sounds... Very wrong) and it always wags like crazy. He is human enough to not be 100% driven by the "Seduce people to blindly follow you into the woods" kinda ordeal but he is still a creature of passion and falls so hard for Emma. Finally when he sees her longingly looking out of her balcony one evening he has to go and talk to her. Yet everything fucks up because Henry gets so flustered by the way Emma looks so happy and lovingly at him, the way she laughs and smiles and blushes when he talks to her, and his tail pops out and his ears flop and his feet turn into cloves. Henry is so embarrassed, he almost is about to jump out of the balcony, and yet Emma stops him and he has to explain himself. Just... Emma still being so smitten with Henry and still loving them and they get to actually start their relationship for real and Emma is fully supportive and happy with her huldra lover <3

BABBYTYYYYESSS

Emma being incredibly scared and nervous and every single kid is born with a straight up hole in their back despite having seen Henry's many many times at that point, Emma very quickly learning to live with 6 huldras and raising 5 of them, Henry still being a loving father and demonstrating for his kids how to hide their huldra signs, Emma and Henry and their kids getting to be a happy family, also PLEASE give me the kiddos sounding like goats when they are being stubborn-- Just... yes please hell yes <3
