I was going to draw pictures for this, but as I was drawing something else to get some practice for the style, it seemed like it was taking too long... So I just want to post it

A tiny fic based on some of my incoherent thoughts for mcytstuck, basically establishing an early scene because I feel like I don’t have enough info to tackle the ideas I have for dsmpstuck eggpire yet

Your name is Badboy Haylow, but most of your friends know you by your online handle, gamingSaint. It just so happens that today, the 10th of May, you are going to go visit some of the aforementioned friends. A certain muffinhead you know has been fiddling with an area of land, fitted it up for some sort of game.

You’d be lying if you said you weren’t a little excited. This is going to be your first time visiting the Troll Kingdom, despite being a troll yourself. You’ve spent most of your life in Carapace Kingdom, with most of your interactions with other trolls being exclusively over the internet.

You think you see a building off in the distance. That must be the community house!

You run as fast as your legs will carry you. You dart through the trees, trailing across the waters’ edge.

You only start skidding to a halt when a small person in a bright green hood lifts an axe to you.

reservedDream: Yeah, hey, no offense, but this is private property :) gamingSaint: um…. yeah? RD: Yeah so… I need you to leave? :) GS: but… dream invited me here o_o RD: Haha, nice try buddy. I AM dream. I’m not expecting any more trolls :) GS: what RD: You heard me :) RD: Honestly today isn’t a great day for nonsense like this, I have a friend who’s supposed to show up any minute now :) GS: YEAH! ME! I’M THE FRIEND!

You start panicking as he raises the axe. You wave one hand in front of you, but the other instinctively reaches for the THROWING KNIVES in your STRIFE SPECIBUS.

GS: DREAM I’M SERIOUS, IT’S ME, BAD, I’M GAMINGSAINT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WEREN’T EXPECTING A TROLL GS: IF YOU DIDN’T WANT ME TO COME, WHY DID YOU INVITE ME?! O_o

The raised axe pauses.

RD: Hold on a sec :)

He pulls out his PALMHUSK. Moments later, your phone starts playing the Discord call chime. You pull it out to see reservedDream’s icon and an answer/hang up option.

==> Hang up

No. Absolutely not, what would that help here? You answer, looking back at the other troll with a deflated expression.

GS: IT'S ME!!! it’s literally me, do you believe me now? ): RD: …. :) RD: Why are you a troll :) GS: …. GS: i. uh. ….. RD: No I mean, it’s just :) RD: You’re from the Carapace Kingdom, right? I was kinda expecting a little chess piece dude. RD: RD: :) GS: well i’m sorry i wasn’t what you were expecting! :/ RD: No, no its- Sorry, you’re right, it’s fine :) RD: I guess I shouldn’t have assumed. It’s just been a bit of a nightmare keeping other people out of this place :) RD: But I’m glad you’re here! C’mon, lemme show you around :)

Me at work thinking about this: ahaha and dream would have a little :) for his quirk, genius

*slow panic over "so wait did I subconsciously steal that or is it just a really obvious quirk like literally what other quirk would he have"*

Also my thoughts for bbh's quirk are just be "he talks all calm and normal most of the time BUT SOMETIMES HE GETS REALLY AGGRESSIVE" and there is no in-between but idk how well that really translates into an actual quirk. Also his little O_o things he does all the time but again... can I even call that part of a quirk...

Also a bit of a spoiler maybe I guess unless you've seen my other rambling post about it (I think I wrote about it in there?) but like just:

Dream, a chess piece dude who lives in Troll Kingdom and pretends to be a troll: WHY IS HE A TROLL. WHY IS EVERYONE A TROLL. DO THE CARAPACE PEOPLE EVEN REALLY EXIST. WHAT THE FUCK. (his disappointment is immeasurable)
