Ajin Week 2023 Day 1: Black Matter

Well I guess if the trials weren't already full when my sign-ups went in, I'm doing two different trials April 10-11th. Have not done a multi sport trialing weekend since the one where Haley first started showing signs of pain, I think? Hopefully this one goes better.

Haley will get two runs at CARO rally Novice finally. Bree is doing two runs of AAC Starters Gamblers for agility, to try for that 1 last Starters Q she needs. She's in Advanced for everything else, but I actually didn't bother trialing her in Gamblers at all because I was like "she's not a distance dog and she's 10 years old sooo... We probably aren't working too hard on that." But then she started doing awesome at distance challenges in NDAL, so I ended up entering her in one Gamblers run at a trial in the summer and she Q'ed. So I guess she CAN do distance. We can get that SGDC title after all. And then she's well on her way to AGDC already too.

As trial season starts to ramp up I'm planning what we're doing this year. I'm obviously only going to local trials with strict COVID guidelines. The drive-thru style ones where there's only a few people there at a time. For Bree, I have my sights set on finishing off her Advanced titles and hopefully getting to jump into Masters a bit before she retires. There's a new agility place that's doing Friday night mini trials starting soon, so those might good to knock out some Q's. We'll have to see if the club who does Thursday night mini trials in the summer ends up doing them this year. And then there's our club's trials, and the other club out near the US border that does a bunch. So lots of opportunities to knock out some Q's! For Haley ... I'm just gonna play it by ear. I don't want to sign her up for stuff and then she has another health crisis or something. I am tentatively looking at a few CARO trials to do with her, but it's up in the air. She might just be done trialing in anything. We will see how this April trial goes if we did get a spot. And then technically she is still registered for our training school's first rally trial that's been delayed 3 times and is now in May. If either goes poorly because she's just not into it, or she shows ANY sign of pain or discomfort, I think that's it. We stick with rally for fun only.

I'm back ( kinda)

Yooooo so hey y'all I'm kinda sorta back.

Imma be honest with you guys. This blog is weirdly stressful and I will explain why.

I started this blog for like, stress relief. But I feel as if I gotta watch what I say and do on here sooooo much because I truly would never wanna offend anyone but I am a very like vulgar person and I get into a lot a stuff Idk I just feel like I have to censor myself so much on here because no really and honestly don't wanna trigger anyone to the point that I don't even cuss because I don't wanna come off to rough??? Idk

And the tagging thing. Like I completely 10936379263849% agree that tags are important and is prefer to keep all my posts properly tagged. Hoooweeeverrrr it is also very true that I fucking hate having to tag anything and everything that could be triggering in every single thing that I reblog on here. But I feel like I /have/ to. Because like I should. I really don't wanna make anyone uncomfortable on my blog. But then there is still a part of me that is like ffffuck dude who cares if there are knives in this video??????? There are knives eVERYWHERE. But then its like???? Just make sure you tag it cause if all it takes is a tag to help someone who follows you even have a slightly better day by not seeing that post then do it.

But.

When I use this blog its when I'm feeling like shitttttt and I just wanna focus and relax and I'm typically in /unbearable/ physical pain and I just wanna look at some slime. Typing hurts so badly sometimes I could cry. Andy phone is an asshole so when I do go back and tag my q'ed posts, half the time the tags don't process and I don't even realize it till I look back and there aren't any tags on them. I cried over it before.

To make a long story short.

Imma do my best to tag as much as I can. I will forget sometimes. I'm physically and mentally not okay enough to deal with weird guilt because I apparently triggered someone badly because I forgot to tag a post with "long nails" or some shit like I get it , but I can't help it. So. I'm sorry I'm not as clean cut as I wish I was but I wanna come back to this blog but the anons I got while I was gone over not having my q'ed posts tagged and some were rude and its bullshit lmao like wtf.
