Here’s my #yarnfriendsrock contribution for Wednesday 03 March! I’m feeling pretty chuffed today as I have totally sussed my pattern for a ten stitch scrap busting blanket pattern in crochet! The inspiration for making this pattern came through loving the knitted versions of these scrap eating beauties. Sadly for me I know I haven’t got the patience to make a blanket knit wise. So I found a crochet pattern that someone had kindly translated from the knitted pattern, but I didn’t like the way you ‘turned’ the corners, three different mitred triangles to count through! I have dyscalculia I hate counting! So here is my perfected pattern and the highest number you need to count too is 12! This weeks TGIF round up is a bittersweet mix of happy, sad and winning! I’m winning because Mr F and I both had our first COVID-19 jabs yesterday, we spent about an hour sat in the car park waiting between appointments, luckily I had my 10 stitch crochet scrap blanket to keep me happy, whilst Himself had a picnic of cheese and biscuits!
