Hi! Welcome to the first Harriet Talks Tuesday. What are HTT? I'm glad you asked, every Tuesday I'll talk about Harriet Davenport from RDO and discuss her character and the bits of lore we can get for her via voice lines.

I'll also explore other things like her work, her issues with Gus and poachers, her little quirks and much more! I will try to keep up consistently with the posts on Tuesday but I cannot promise much.

If anyone has any questions or anything they'd like me to elaborate on (within reason) I will attempt to answer the question with either my interpretation of it with some voice lines of hers that will show why I have formed this opinion or help elaborate certain things and ideas I am attempting to communicate.

Does anyone else get...Profoundly angry when you see/hear/see mention of Harriet Davenport in RDO? Because wow, is she unbearable! I mean, the writing is amazing, but God, I hate her.

Hi welcome to the second very late Harriet Talks Tuesday, stuff happened, but we're back!

Okay in this one I'd like to talk about Harriet's family, now we know they're wealthy as evidenced by Gus's lines, Harriet wearing lace and her multiple mentions of endowments. However did you guys know that Harriet has a sister? In one voice line she talks about how her sister calls her a disappointment to the Davenport name for refusing to settle down and continuing her studies. Keep this in mind because there's another Harriet line where she talks about not wanting to come home for Thanksgiving and she mentions that her mother probably just wants to sit her next to that nice doctor again. So with this we can gather that her family very clearly wants her married off and she's not to keen on the idea.

In Saint Denis there's a store titled Davenport and Co. Which I believe is a fashion store? I'll have to check again. Harriet has a line where she talks about how amazed her father would be at what just a couple of pieces of paper can do. Speaking of him, he has cats, if you turn in a panther sample Harriet has a chance to say the line "these are much bigger then father's lap cats." Which makes me think her love of animals was there since childhood.

We don't know much about the other Davenports as we never see them in game, we just hear about them via Harriet, but from what we can gather it seems her sister isn't too supportive of her, but her parents seem to be a bit more supportive. All in all I'd love to see the Davenports more and fully see Harriet's relationship with her parents and sister or at least see which of the two is older, Harriet is probably younger seeing as how her sister seems to be already married but we'll never know for sure.

HI GUYS I MADE A TGAMM AU

But the basic concept is all of the (unique, no historical figures) ghosts are human, and all of the human characters are ghosts! The premise mostly surrounds Scratch (obviously) being "haunted" by Molly.

Molly is kind of an outcast among ghosts because of how joyful she is, and instead of going down to earth to create misery, she goes down to create joy! She, obviously, fakes her scare reports.

Scratch is roommates with Geoff and Jeff, though the three of them don't spend that much time together. Each have their own jobs to attend to, and Scratch's life is pretty bleak until one day he's getting a midnight snack, Geoff is sleeping on the couch, and a ghost comes in to scare Geoff!! It's Molly!!

Scratch kind of freaks out because come on you're interrupting his snack time and also she just appeared, realized Geoff was asleep, got out of her scare form, and slowly tucked a blanket over him. So Molly explains her situation and Scratch is like "literally just get out"

So Molly leaves but.. comes back the next day. And the next. And the next. She just keeps bothering Scratch all the time, and eventually, shenanigans occur.

In contrast, Jinx is a ghost hunter

Mr. Davenport is the Chairman! - andrea flaunts this constantly

The McGees and Libby are the only ones who really are fine with Molly being a ghost of pure joy, mostly because they knew each other in the real world

Harriet, Sally, and Sonia are roommates! Eventually Jinx moves into the same house as them and Sally moves out.
