So, here is the question. Objectively, do you think who is the Better Ranger, Halt or Will? I know that Halt says Will is the best Ranger but he is a biased proud father so what do we think? Personally I think Halt had a very unorthodox training and the fact that he is as much and maybe better than Will is is impressive regarding his past. But what d you think?

Makes me so sad that so many RA bloggers aren't active anymore.

After taking Will under as his apprentice, Halt really tried to see Will as Daniel's son and only his son, because of his guilt and responsibility. He tried to see Will only as Daniel's son, tried to picture the physical similarities to his father on hsi head, and tried to stick Daniel's traits on Will. But no matter what Halt did, he saw his own traits on Will. The dry humor on his words, his sharp mind, his sarcasm and rebellious nature, all these quips, even the way he was so talented at shooting and not swordsfighting threw Halt off a lot. And he tried to find more Daniel in him and the more he tried he saw himself on Will more.

So the next time someone commented like son like father, Halt did not think about Daniel and Will, he smiled and accepted the compliment. Because he loved the fact Will was so much like him.
