Doing a series where I redesign transformers for if I were to create my own series.

Second up was Single dad Soundwave!

Took inspiration from his TFP and G1 designs! Soundwave is covered in pink and purple glow paint tattoos. This soundwave does talk, but only if he truly feels like he has something to say.

Special Somepony Contest

So after several years I am reopening Nightfall for a special somepony (I'd like him to have a partner with someone who'd draw/wright/headcanon about the couple alongside me ^^)

The winner will become canon to my NG blog Askmotherlyluna as Nightfall's future partner (when he’s an adult) and will also be canon to my NG au hallowverse!

A little Something About Nightfall: Known as the Alicorn of Creativity prince Nightfall tends to push others to think outside the box to solve their problems and express themselves. Despite his sometimes broody and blunt personality, he is actually fairly friendly and quite polite towards others. He will usually take constellation requests from younger ponies as Nightfall's special talent is to rearrange the stars in the sky to create constellations, he can even change their color. He is a stallion who prefers to be around ponies who enjoy fun and are bubbly, just not too bubbly of course! There is such a thing as too much! Ideally, he'd like to find a mare who is more nocturnal like himself so they could actually spend time with each other, though he's someone willing to find work arounds to differing schedules. Doing a series where I redesign transformers for if I were to create my own series. First up is Blitzwing! I took more inspiration from TFA but did pull in some elements from his IDW designs.

Blitzwing is of course still a triple changer with multiple “faces” but instead of his face plates rotating they change color based on how he’s feeling and when Random is in control Blitzwing’s jaw unhinges and the lower jaw splits down the middle to reveal an absolute horror of a mouth.

What inspired the hallowverse? 😃

It honestly came to me during a stream. I thought it would be fun to design transformers in my own weird way.

The theme I was going with was making the decepticons more monstrous. And all cybertronians a little more alien. As much as I love many versions of the transformers I just wanted to do something a little bit different.

Regarding the season 9 finale

So I won't spoil anything and its obviously clear not much of season 9 will ever be canonical to the blog. But I did want to make this statement now since I’m certain I may probably get asks about it like I did at the beginning of the season.

Not a GD thing on this blog will be affected by the finale. And don’t worry about me leaving or anything. I know updates have been sparse but I am aiming to correct that and even though I was not thrilled with what i’ve seen. It hasn’t hampered my love for these characters that I am exploring in my own stories.

Mama luna and hallowverse will still be here!

(Though as soon as the episode is out, expect a bit of a rant CAUSE HOO BOI I got me some issues, at least with certain aesthetic/character design things.)

Will things that happen in the new season be canon to the blog? Or is it only everything up to when the blog started, and it diverges from there?

Some things yes. Any possible reformation of sombra, tirek, or Chrys will not be canon to Hallowverse. So far the opening hold some canon to the ng universe. But not entirely as Luna and Celestia have changed their minds about retiring in this au.
