Bastion is older than he looks, can travel a mile in a blink, and has connections all over the world. You'll recall he even knows Shadwe Grandvin of the Temple of Song. And today he met the Queen of Cresce!

Jab Beadman has been a friend of the Black Tongues for many years, and as one of the more esteemed members before his self-exile, Bastion had many dealings with the man. Bastion earned the industrialist's respect not only for his pymaric ability but for how level-headed he was among the Black Tongues' other more ah, eccentric, whimsical savants. Beadman eventually asked for him by name even above first dealing with their sanctioned leader. He was irritated when he vanished.

Bastion Winalils and Jab Beadman really do get along great. I regret they didn't get a scene together. Maybe I'll write a scene with them having dinner or something one day. Maybe their first meeting, when Bastion was still apprenticed to Maur.

Um Bordeaux delicioso, elaborado com 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc e 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, e envelhecido 20 meses em barricas novas de carvalho francês. . O Château se localiza na AOC Lalande-de-Pomerol (na margem direita dos rios Garonne e Dordogne) e é propriedade do grande enólogo Hubert de Boüard de Laforest (que também é dono do famoso Château Angelus, em Saint-Émilion). . Na taça tem cor rubi opaca, de média intensidade, com sedimentos em suspensão (deveria ter sido decantado) e um discreto halo acastanhado. No nariz mostra frutas vermelhas maduras (morango e framboesa), especiarias (pimenta-do-reino e canela), muito chocolate e um toque de tabaco. Na boca tem corpo médio, acidez média-alta e taninos moderadas e muito macios. Aromas de fruta, chocolate e pimenta negra, com longa persistência. . Have you ever heard about the grape called Ribolla Gialla? It is the flagship variety of the region Friuli in Italy and can produce high quality wines. It has a yellow color when ripe on the vines and it buds late but ripens quickly and rich in must. Fechando a semana com um Bordeaux que gosto bastante, mas que me decepcionou desta vez… 😩 🇫🇷 Este é o @ChateauPotensac 2013 — um Bordeaux do Médoc (margem esquerda do Gironde) — corte de 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc e 1% Petit Verdot com 14 meses de estágio em barricas de carvalho usadas. 🌧 A safra faz grande diferença em Bordeaux e, infelizmente, a safra 2013 não foi das melhores… Condições climáticas difíceis (frio e umidade) não permitiram uma ótima maturação das uvas. 🍷 Na taça, coloração rubi de média intensidade, com halo granada. Aromas de frutas vermelhas e negras maduras, leve floral, ervas secas, baunilha e canela. Na boca é seco, tem corpo médio, acidez moderada e taninos leves e macios. Fruta negra madura, ervas e especiarias, com curta persistência . 📝 Bom vinho, mas que deixou a desejar… Apesar de um nariz interessante, na boca ele não empolgou: faltou estrutura, frescor e, principalmente, “meio de boca”.
