The folks at Live Nation reached out to help with a build out for an Amazon Web Services & Intel sponsored Hack-a-thon called “Hack Till Dawn.” The event welcomed tech-loving Headliners and music-obsessed techies to create the most revolutionary new tech that will help disrupt the music festival world. (more info)Given the open floor plan of an event space at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, we conceptualized and built out hundreds of feet of wall panels made out of used pallets along with plexiglass topped tables also made out of pallets. Using fluorescent spray paint, we colored some random slats to give the walls and furniture a fun appearance that glowed in the blacklight! We also helped paint several sponsor logos across the walls. Zeke Capital, a company of investment advisors, asked us to create a bright graffiti mural. After creative back and forth, we narrowed the aim of this piece: to make their central hallway look real-life edgy – a graffiti street look, unexpected for a financial services business. The wall, now complete with bright colors, and a variety of textured, layered spray-paint techniques like tags and throw-ups, screams against the surrounding white environment at their office in Berwyn, PA. Hidden references to the company’s roots and the stock market were used, but intentionally illegible and subtle, with “ZCA” graffiti letters as the focal point. Zeke sincerely loved the outcome! Had fun with this recent fabrication and mural project in Las Vegas, NV. Every year, Alphabroder and Prime Line hosts a big imprintable apparel industry party called the PrimeTime Party. This year (2017), the event was held in Las Vegas, NV at the Light Nightclub at Mandala Bay. We were tasked with spray painting a very clean logo on a custom 8’ ft x 10’ ft faux brick skinned wall that we fabricated. We added some uplighting to the set wall as well since it was in a dark environment. We’ve noticed a trend this year and Adidas isn’t the only one interested in creating interactive live murals allowing participants to assist the artist and fill in portions of commissioned art pieces. Latitude, a brand experience design agency came to us to help with a nationwide Adidas launch. The "adicolor" adidas launch transcends cultures and eras to redefine itself in new contexts - always taking color seriously, and taking itself less seriously. We helped curate the right graffiti artists for the gig in NY, LA and Chicago to design a black and white illustration showcasing the unique landscapes of their city that only a true local would know. Artist’s designs were then printed onto a large canvas featured at Finish Line locations and to be later colored in by store visitors over the duration of two weeks. The premium spirits brand, Beam Suntory knew they’d have a sponsored booth at this year’s Boston Magazine's Best of Boston 2018 event. With a strong desire to tie the EFFEN brand back to Boston culture and artwork, they turned to our services. In order to include an interactive element for guests to grab a specialty vodka cocktail and dive into their own creativity, we presented our interactive guest coloring mural. Our local artist worked with the EFFEN Vodka team to align on the creative direction for the artwork to represent the vodka’s relationship to the city. With artwork outlined in advance to the event, guests were free to color in the canvas as they pleased! This interactive and engaging element helped bring guests out of their comfort zones to mingle amongst each other and share a moment of creativity over a delicious cocktail.
