villain au where the reader decides to go to watatsumi island a month or so after everyone finds out they're actually their god

everyone's like "yay! they've decided to visit! and they're here to... pet... gorou... wait what?"

"Anything you want, we'll provide, we're so sorry your grace, anything at all and it shall be granted no questions asked." They told you over and over.

You just smiled, "Can we go to Watatsumi island?"

They prayed for the people on the island, knowing that whatever was to occur wasn't going to be pretty. You were carried to the island despite your insistence otherwise, and when you were finally set down the entire island was bowed before you.

You limped over to the general, and placed your hand on his head. You started to pet him.

That's it.

His eyes were wide, tears pricking the edges of them. All he could think about was how he had chased you, his bow scraping up your legs and hitting you right in your left knee. It was right in front of him, he could see how you kept your weight off of it, he could see the bandages over it, the way it was bent in a slightly wrong way.

Even though you were being so so merciful, he couldn't help crying. He knew he'd done wrong and yet you weren't punishing him as he deserved.

You continued to scratch behind his ears, fluff up his hair with your hand, an innocent smile lighting up your face.

Despite everything this general had put you through, possibly damaging your leg beyond repair and giving you countless scars, you still smiled so happily. You weren't malicious or aggressive while petting him, you were just... petting him like you would any innocent animal.

But he wasn't innocent. He'd hurt you, he'd chased after you, sunk his teeth into your leg and flung you so hard you were sure he'd broken your ribs. You had scrambled desperately away, you hadn't even provoked him.

You were just looking for food on Watatsumi island, the moment you'd spotted him you'd fled. Yet he still chased after you, still hurt you even when you screamed and cried. He barely even noticed the golden blood staining his mouth hands and the ground in his blind rage and "loyalty" to Watatsumi island and their creator.

You gave him one final pat, his face was stained with tears to the point he couldn't see what was in front of him, "Thank you for letting me pet you, Gorou," You beamed, "Your tail was wagging a lot, so I hope that means you were happy. You deserve to smile."

He crumpled in on himself as you walked away, his tail curling in and his ears flattening against his skull as sobs wracked his body.

Hai haiii i see your waiting for itto asks so I shall give one~! Basically

(this is a kinda SAGAU ask as well if you don't mind ^^;;) Itto just observing Darling trying to speed run getting ascension materials for him and earning lots of primos just for him (and also gorou ehe-) and him immediately coming home from the first 10 pulls (cuz that's basically what happened to me minus the farming ascension materials just primos)

A/N: welcome itto simp anon! i love this idea and i’ve never tried a SAGAU so i had to do research to actually learn what it meant💀 i hope i did this well though for it being my first time. thank you for requesting dear<33

He was excited when he saw you, obsessing and squealing as you waited for his banner to appear. Your small amount of primogems and your low pity discouraging you a bit as you refreshed the wish page and saw Arataki Itto there.

Clapping you hands together with a wide smile you instantly went to his character trial, giggling as you played through it a few times and making comments of praise towards him that went straight to his heart and had him growing fond of you.

He was sad at first when you stopped the trial, now more focused as you bought more resin and farmed artifacts and materials needed for him. You were determined you’d get him even with the risk of losing the 50/50. You had hope as you wasted hours of the day farming. Groaning in annoyance as you searched for the mighty beetles that you desperately needed as he laughed from a distance you couldn’t hear.

Swearing as you fought the boss, but reminding yourself it was him, for Itto you’d do anything and he made sure to remember that as he watched from a place you would never see.

He was beaming with joy when you finally had all the resources you needed. Spending a whole month farming for the artifacts before his banner until you now had the best ones you’ve ever gotten, and they were all for him. How cute.

You closed your eyes as the wish screen was opened, your primogems being barely enough for a ten pull as you sigh and click the button. Squealing as you cover your eyes in fear you might not get him, especially with your luck.

If only you’d known he had a surprise for you, his fangs showing from his wide smile as he finally could show himself, happy as he waited for you to see him, to have him for yourself.

You clicked the screen eyes still closed, hearing the soft dings of how many stars were on each item. Hearing multiple three dings only lowering your hope til you heard a high pitched one, opening your eyes you looked only to see Barbara on your screen and you frowned. Feeling unlucky you sadly clicked the button again and then your heart dropped to your stomach.

The character on your screen now was Arataki Itto, the one you had been farming for, building up wishes for, hoping that you’d get him and you actually did. You jumped from your seat and screamed in happiness, twirling and jumping in a circle as you repeated, “He’s home! He came home!” And indeed he had, you didn’t notice the way his head moved on the still image, his eyes closed as he smiled brightly over your joy before returning back to his original position just as you made your way back to your screen.

Immediately you switched a character out for him, pride and love bursting in his heart as he examined the artifacts you had for him, the claymore you refined to 5 just for him at max level. And it didn’t take too long until he was max level as well, destroying enemies left and right as you smiled at your screen.

”I love him so much.”

If only he could give it away, that he could see your every move through the space between the screen. He wanted to say it back, but he’d wait for now. He could only get away with it in your pot, occasionally mentioning an “I love you! Take care of ya self for me!“ Like it was a part of his in game dialogue when nobody but you got it.

You and only you would have all his attention and love, he could only dream of the day you’d be truly in front of him.

“You’re staring,” You tell him, not even looking up from the paper in your hands. The pencil moving across the parchment doesn’t even pause when you speak, nor do your lines falter in any way.

The resistance general chuckles lightly, resting his hands behind his head where he lays. “You say it like I’m trying to hide it,” Gorou teases, fangs poking out slightly when he grins.

In response, you tisk, pausing just for a bit to stick your tongue out at him over your shoulder before going back to your landscape sketches. “It’s distracting,” you say, though the both of you know you don’t mind.

“You’re distracting.”

You chuckle, shaking your head, but the Gorou knows you well enough to know you’re smiling.

But he hadn’t been lying in the least–– the whole time he had been here, his thoughts had been consumed by you. Nothing else had been on his mind aside from how stunning he thought you looked now, so domestic and candid and breathtaking.

He can feel his heart pick up whenever you smile at the drawing in your lap, or when you so much as lift your head and look around at your surroundings. His chest feels so full when he sees you happy and content in a peaceful place like this. It feels like he’s absolutely melting in your presence.

Gorou feels the smallest of smiles grow on his face while he watches you do your thing. From the small mannerisms of your tongue poking out of your mouth, to the way you chew the inside of your cheek when you’re deep in thought–– everything you do is enough to affirm the love and affection that he holds for you.

“Hey, Gorou,” you call him suddenly, breaking him from his lovesick reverie.

“Hm?”

Then, that breathtaking smile again, directed to him. Enough to steal his breath and bring a flush to his cheeks.

You blow him a small kiss. “Love you.”

Gorou smiles, a little bashfully. “Love you too.”

Archons, he’s down bad.
