BOTD: Golden-hooded Tanager

"Very attractive small tanager of humid tropical lowlands. Found in humid evergreen forest edges, plantations, and gardens; at times with mixed-species feeding flocks of honeycreepers and euphonias. Often in pairs, feeding at all levels in fruiting trees and bushes. Sexes look alike: black and blue overall with a white belly and a soft golden hood; in good light, varied purple and turquoise sheens are apparent."

Thoughts on what kind of bird gabird would be/look like/based off?
My personal pick just for the theme of it would be a Luzon bleeding-heart
But for something more visually on brand there are a lot of options! I tried to pick ones that people probably haven't seen before :]
From the top left to right -

Yellow-winged cacique or Mexican cacique

Black-faced dacnis (they can have white or yellow bellies)

Two of my bird Fakemon: Arboriave (grass/flying) and Aquariave (water/flying)
A few notes on their inspiration:
- the color pattern is somewhat based on golden-hooded and masked tanagers.
- Arboriave’s crest is meant to look like pine needles, and Aquariave’s crest is meant to look like a wave of water.
- they both evolve from what is essentially a bird version of Eevee.
- and yes, there is some not-so-subtle Wild Kratts influence on the design. I made these drawings about two years ago, the last time I was hyperfixated on that show.
