I haven’t honestly been in the mood to sale or even work; but God continues to send business in my direction!! I truly believe God ordained this deal today! I met Mr. Terry today and he was looking for a SUV for his wife and himself!! The first vehicle I pulled around was a red SUV, but after seeing it, he asked did I have any other colors available.. I pointed out a few other colors, but the one that stood out the most was the blue!!! (If you didn’t catch my video from this week, blue signifies; peace, wisdom and understanding..) 🙌🏾🙏🏾 As we preceded back to my desk to complete the deal; Mr. Terry explained how he use to be a marathon runner and even completed a 100 mile run before.. Me being a lover of sports asked was it more physical or mental.. He explained, it was a little of both.. At the moment it didn’t click and I didn’t see any spiritual significance in the sale, but as he preceded to drive off, God whispered in my ear, “I know it seems like a marathon journey/battle, but I’m giving you; peace, comfort, understanding and wisdom!!!” Stay in the fight Marcus!! When I say this took me from 0-100 real quick!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Please take a moment and congratulate Mr. Terry and his wife and welcome him to the family!! #itslamostover #thistoshallpass #mircalessignsandwonders #godspeaks #youjustneed #eartohear #godreveals #youjustgotta #haveeyestosee #believeit #blessingchasingmedown #marathon #100milerun (at Burleson Honda) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ4_Jq9DW-J/?utm_medium=tumblr

Spirituality in islam: The horizons of the soul: Metaphysical thought
The modern Western world view is said to be founded almost entirely on materialistic notions that exclude or even deny the spiritual or metaphysical dimensions of existence. This is a controversial point, but many socalled Muslim intellectuals who blindly imitate and import what they see as Western, despise and reject their societies’ traditional modes of thinking and living. This is largely because they no longer have any awareness of the spiritual dimension of existence and life. Indeed, those who reduce existence to matter and think only in physical terms can hardly perceive and understand what is metaphysical and spiritual. Moreover, since those who can only imitate are more radical in their borrowed attitudes than the originators, and since imitation often obscures reality, those socalled intellectuals become more radical in rejecting what is spiritual and metaphysical, and lack adequate knowledge of matter and what is material.
Since the spiritual, metaphysical dimension requires us to go beyond our sensations and instincts into deep and vast horizons, materialists neither understand nor like it. In other words, they restrict their thinking only to what they can perceive and experience. Deceiving themselves and others that existence consists only of the material dimension, they present themselves as true intellectuals.
Despite their claims and the assertions of their Western counterparts, it is difficult to accept that Western scientific thought, although primarily materialistic, has always been separate from spirituality and metaphysics. Modern Western civilization is based on the trinity of Greek thought, Roman law, and Christianity. This latter, at least theoretically, contributes a spiritual dimension. The West never completely discarded Platonist thinking, although it failed to reconcile it with positivistic and rationalistic philosophy. It also does not pretend that such thinkers as Pascal and J. Jeans never existed, or exclude Bergson’s intuitivism. Bergson, Eddington, J. Jeans, Pascal, Bernhard Bavink, and Heisenberg are just as important in Western thought as Comte, Darwin, Molescholt, Czolba, and Lamarck. Indeed, it is hard to find an atheist scientist and philosopher before the midnineteenth century.
In contrast, metaphysical thought and spirituality have been almost entirely discarded by many Muslim intellectuals. In the name of certain notions that have been reduced to such simplistic slogans as “enlightenment, Westernization, civilization, modernity, and progress,” metaphysical thought and spiritual life have been denigrated and degraded. Such slogans have also been used to batter traditional Islamic values.
We use “the horizon of hope” to mean traveling beyond the visible dimension of existence, and considering existence as an interrelated whole in the absence of which things and events cannot be perceived as they really are. Nor can its essence and relation with the Creator, as well as the relation between Him and humanity, be grasped. Scientific disciplines that conduct their own discourse largely in isolation from one another and the prevailing materialistic nature of science that has compartmentalized existence and life cannot discover the reality of things, existence, or life.
When such investigations are seen in medicine, for example, people are viewed as being composed of many discrete mechanisms. The consequences are easy to see: Existence is stripped of its meaning and connectedness, and is presented as discrete elements consisting only of matter. However, the only way to fully comprehend and value life and existence is to experience existence through the prism of spirit and metaphysical thinking. Neglecting to do so means forcing reason to comment on things beyond its reach and imprisoning intellectual effort within the confines of senseimpressions. But when we heed the sound of our conscience, or inner world, we perceive that the mind is never content or satisfied with mere senseimpressions.
All the great, enduring, and inclusive modes of thinking developed upon the foundations of metaphysics and spirituality. The whole ancient world was founded and shaped by such sacred texts as the Qur'an, the Bible, the Vedas, and the Upanishads. Denying or forgetting such antimaterialistic Western thinkers, scientists, and philosophers as Kant, Descartes, Pascal, Hegel, and Leibniz means ignoring an essential strand of Western thought.
We can only imagine a new, better world based on knowledge or science if we look at the concept of science through the prism of metaphysics. Muslims have not yet developed a concept of science in its true meaning, namely, one derived from the Qur'an and Islamic traditions primarily shaped by the Qur'an and the hadiths. The application of science or technology by an irresponsible, selfish minority has engendered more disasters than good.
If Muslims want to end their long humiliation and help establish a new, happy world at least on a par with the West, they must replace oldfashioned positivistic and materialistic theories with their own thoughts and inspirations. Aware of their past pains and troubles, they must exert great efforts to define these problems and cure them.
A true concept of science will join spirituality and metaphysics with a comprehensive, inclusive view that affirms the intrinsic and unbreakable relation between any scientific discipline and existence as a whole. Only a concept embracing the whole in its wholeness can be called truly scientific. Seeing existence as discrete elements and trying to reach the whole from these will end up getting swamped in multiplicity. By contrast, embracing the whole and then studying its parts in the light of the whole allows us to reach sound conclusions about the reality of existence.
Spirituality and metaphysics also provide art with their widest dimensions. It fact, art only attains its real identity through spirituality and metaphysics. An artist discovers the inner world of humanity, with all its feelings, excitement, expectations, frustration, and ambitions and discovers how it relates to the outer dimension of existence. The artist then presents these in forms suitable to the medium being used. Art expresses our inner essence, which is in continuous movement to return to its source. In other words, artists unite the inspirations flowing into their spirit from things and events, from all corners of existence. Bringing together all nomena and phenomena, they then present things to us in their wholeness.
Remember that the most important source of science, thinking, and art, even virtues and morality, is metaphysics. All of existence can be perceived with a sound mode of thinking based on pure metaphysics. This allows us to view all of existence as a whole, and to travel through its deeper dimensions. Without spirituality and metaphysics, we cannot build a community on sound foundations; such communities are forced to beg continuously from others. Communities that lack sound metaphysical concepts suffer identity crises.
To build a new, happy world wherein human virtues and values are given due prominence and are effective in shaping policies and aspirations, all people, regardless of religion, must rediscover and reaffirm the spirituality and metaphysics taught in the Godrevealed religions.

TAFSIR: Risale-i Nur: The Words Collection:The Twenty Ninth Word.Part 14
FOURTH FUNDAMENTAL: As there is a necessary cause for the Resurrection and the One Who will bring it about can do this, so also the world is exposed to the Resurrection. There are four related matters here: The world can perish, it will perish, the destroyed world can be rebuilt as the Hereafter, and it will be resurrected and rebuilt.
First matter: The death of the universe is possible. For if something is subject to the law of development, it must evolve to a final end. That which develops to a final end must have a limited lifetime and, therefore, a fixed natural end. That which has a fixed end inevitably dies. Just as humanity is a microcosm subject to death, so the universe, a macro-human being, is also subject to death. Accordingly, it will perish and be resurrected on the morning of the Resurrection. Just as a living tree (a miniature universe) cannot save itself from annihilation, the universe (the branch of creation growing from the tree of creation) can neither be saved from destruction and disintegration to be repaired and renewed.
If the universe is not destroyed by an external destructive event, with the Eternal Will’s permission, it eventually will begin to die. Even scientists say this. Begin to suffer death agonies, it will give a sharp cry and what the following verses pronounce will happen: When the sun is folded up, and when the stars fall, and when the mountains are set moving (81:1-3); and When heaven is cleft open, and when the stars fall in disorder and are scattered, and when the seas burst forth (82:1-3).
A significant subtle point: Water freezes to its detriment (loses its essential liquid form); ice melts to its detriment (loses its essential solid state); an item’s essence becomes stronger at the expense of its material form; a language becomes coarse to the detriment of the meaning; the spirit weakens as the flesh becomes more substantial, and the flesh weakens as the spirit becomes more illuminated. Similarly, the solid world is refined through life in favor of the afterlife. The Creative Power breathes life into dense, solid, and inanimate substances through an astonishing activity. This suggests that It melts, refines and illuminates that solid world to the advantage of the Hereafter through the light of life.
Unlike forms, no truth, even though weak, ever perishes. Rather, it assumes various forms in the corporeal world. A truth flourishes and expands, while forms grow weaker and gains greater refinement to be able to become suitable for the stable, developed truth. The truth that constitutes an item’s essence is inversely proportional to its form’s strength: the form grows denser as the truth weakens, and the truth becomes stronger as the form weakens. This law is common to whatever develops and evolves. Given this, the corporeal world, which is a form containing the great truth of the universe, will shatter, with the All-Majestic Creator’s permission, and be rebuilt more beautifully. One day, On the day the earth is changed into another earth (14:48) will be realized. In short, the death of the world is possible and it will certainly die.
Second matter: The world’s eventual death is confirmed by all Godrevealed religions, supported by all pure and saintly persons, and indicated by the universe’s changes, transformations, and alterations. The constant replacement of this guest-house’s living inhabitants, all of whom are welcomed and then leave at their appointed time (through death) so that they can be replaced by newcomers, also indicates this world’s death.
If you want to imagine the death of the world as the Qur’an describes it, consider how and in what minute and precise interrelationship the constituent parts of the universe have been organized into a sublime and delicate system. If any heavenly body were told to leave its axis, the universe would be thrown into the throes of death. Stars would collide, planets would be scattered, and the sound of exploding spheres would fill space. Mountains would fly, oceans would burst forth in masses of fire and the earth would be flattened. The Eternal Power will shake andrefine the universe, with the result that the elements of Paradise and Hell will be separated from each other.

To be Set Apart (January 4, 2018)
For the past few days, the focus of Leviticus was holiness, cleanliness, and being set apart. Today’s reading was Leviticus 22, which reiterates how the holy things that are dedicated to the LORD cannot be unclean and how unclean things are not acceptable.
In the midst of all these laws of practicing cleanliness, the ending of this chapter stuck out at me.
Leviticus 22:31-33 reads,
“‘So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the LORD. And you shall not profane my holy name, that I may be sanctified among the people of Israel. I am the LORD who sanctifies you, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am the LORD.’”
Again, this phrase “I am the LORD” is repeated, as discussed in an earlier blog post, where we should listen to these laws and abide by them because God is our LORD. This time, I am reminded that God does not stop there. He does discuss how we should not profane His holy name, which seems to mean that we must treat Him with respect and to acknowledge that our Lord God is set apart from every thing else. He ends this chain of listing out rules to follow with how HE sanctifies US and brings US out of EGYPT to be OUR GOD! What a comforting reminder. He begins speaking of all the things that should be done in order to practice cleanliness, yet he ends with a remembrance of God’s faithfulness.
Before discussing further, an important question is, what does sanctify mean? The dictionary on Google states, “set apart as or declare holy; consecrate”. Gotquestions.org states, “The word sanctification is related to the word saint; both words have to do with holiness. To ‘sanctify’ something is to set it apart for special use; to ‘sanctify’ a person is to make him holy”.
According to these definitions, when the LORD sanctifies us, He makes us HOLY. He sets us apart from the rest of the world and allows us to be UNITED with Him! As a human response to this, one may ponder….there must be a cost to this! How can the LORD OF ALL make us set apart and allow us to even imitate Him? How is it possible that God gives US nobodies a chance to even ATTEMPT to live like He does? With this mindset, it makes sense for the way to becoming HOLY would be a difficult route. There needs to be some sort of COST for us to even go close to our Lord’s route….
Back in these times, the cost was abiding by these strict laws. People in higher positions, like priests, were expected to live lives that were obviously set apart from the rest of the people of Israel. Priests had to follow these strict procedures of making themselves clean and performing sacrifices to be with God. These are the means that people had to go through. This is how they could maintain being set apart and not cut off from the Lord’s Presence. As it states in Leviticus 22:3, “Say to them, ‘If any one of all your offspring throughout your generations approaches the holy things that the people of Israel dedicate to the LORD, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from my presence”. It was normal for people to go through these harsh laws to somehow keep the Lord’s presence with them.
Yet, this all changes because of Jesus. We no longer have to keep these strict laws of preparing the most clean animal for a sin/guilt/etc. sacrifice. We no longer have to make sure that we do not touch anything unclean. We do not have to constantly cleanse ourselves physically of our uncleanliness. Thank you to Jesus. Everything is solved in Him. We are able to simply pray to God for repentance of our sins and the only reason that we are able to do this is because of Jesus. We are able to associate with those who are ‘unclean’, as Jesus exemplified His love for even the tax collectors and the lepers. Jesus entirely cleans our uncleanliness of sin with the innocent blood that He spilled on the cross. Because of Jesus, we do nothing, but are loved. We do nothing but acknowledge that Jesus is our Savior, yet we are ACCEPTED and are able to have a relationship with Him. The cost was paid forever because of Jesus and His sacrifice. Now, we are forever united with God in Jesus Christ.
Today’s reading reminded me of how grateful to God and Jesus we should be. We take so many of the little aspects in life for granted. Perhaps we should sometimes go back to the olden times and think about what life would have been like before Jesus. How we would have to find a clean animal to sacrifice and rub the blood and burn the fat on the altar…
Thank you God for sending Your precious son Jesus to die on the cross and cleanse us of our sins. Thank you for letting us be set apart through Jesus Christ. May we live lives that imitate Jesus’ life on this earth and live a life that is pleasing to You Lord.
