not gonna lie, @godliath's ereloy art has rewrote my brain chemistry even before I played the game and even knew who those characters were. Cause it was one of the first things I saw when looking for HZD content here and it had me hooked Immediately.
#i don't mean this in a 'i expected the game to be a romance about the two way' i meant it in a#'i saw creator pour their heart and soul and love for the characters into shape of an art and I fell in love with it'#additionally i was absolutely obsessed with shipping the two but that's besides the point#it was hilarious seeing how every npc in hzd ever is ready to marry aloy immediately after meeting her unironically#erend might be my fave tomato captain husband but after such a start it feels strange denying all the other characters#and fans of other ships#(also i was baited by hfw trailers and am salty about it)#still ereloy for the win forever their fandom is so chill and nice i love it here#hzd#ereloy#this is like one fandom which has my dedicated shipper focus xD#erend vanguardsman#aloy despite the nora

So basically all I've done in the last week is consume an unhealthy amount of Horizon fanfic. I don't have an ao3 account (yet) so I thought I would put my list of faves here. I've ordered them from shortest to longest. This is the first of two posts.

Honourable mention: The Moth by @sacrificethemtothesquid - 250k words / 92 chapters / Explicit - look I don't think anyone needs to be told about this fic considering it's the #1 ereloy fic on ao3 and honestly I've only read like a third of it and it's almost too angsty for me because I'm a delicate flower so I probably won't finish it but the Vanguard in this are amazing and Tandin might be my favourite OC in all the Horizon fic I've read so we're including this for him and the rest of the Oseram weirdos
I can't draw and I haven't written anything in years and years, so consider this a small contribution to the fandom. I'd love to hear anybody else's fanfic recs as well!

One of my absolute faves. I was not expecting so many people to like this one, so I'm forever grateful for all the love this has received! :)
The relationship between this two is such a delight, I'm glad Aloy has someone by her side that cares for her and likes her for who she is. She is constantly running all the time, so I hope that she can find some good sleep every now and then. I hope we get more of them in hz3.
You guys know I'm a sucker for these two, so expect some more art of them in the future <3

The idea for this piece came to me all of a sudden when I was doing some chores, and I just had to drop everything to rush to my laptop to draw it. Coming up with the designs was harrrrd, but I really enjoyed the challenge.

I am so moved knowing this piece was so loved by so many people on the fandom, I just can't say thank you enough! It's no secret that I hc Aloy as bi, so it really warms my heart to know that I'm not the only one, and that I'm not alone.
Representation matters, so I hope this piece brings as much joy to my fellow bis as it does to me.

Я не понимаю... Зачем,за что ты со мной DLS?!Делать Элой резко лейзби,да и свести с той девушкой которую 2 дня знает, это уже слишком!!!
А КАК ЖЕ ЭРЭНД!!????Он был всегда рядом с ней,переживал за неё, можно сказать заботился и пытался помочь!А вот Сэйка такая капризная, постоянно психует,говорит одно делает другое,одним словом раздражает!А сюжет совсем пресный!Никаких сюжетных поворотов,зато графон и геймплей класс,вот этим они гордятся. 😤🤬Просто не поймите меня не правильно.Я нечего против не имею и мне даже нравится одна парочка из the last of us 2(Элли и Дина).Вот они классно смотрится и есть смысл почему они вместе.
А то что Элой свели с Сэйкой,это для меня кринж и полный крах!Но не смотря на всё это, всё равно буду верна своему любимому шипу Элой с Эрэндом❤️

I don't watch a lot of shows, mostly I read, listen to music and the news, and read som more... it's kind of in my "name" 😅
When I watch anything , it is mostly YouTube, currently my favorites are Rachel Maksy, Morgan Donner and listening to old Citation Needed episodes by The Technical Difficulties (Tom Scott and 3 friends)
Current obsession:
Horizon zero dawn❤️ and Horizon forbidden west ❤️(I might have a problem....)
- I got the Horizon Zero Dawn coloring book and the Horizon Forbidden West art book 2 weeks ago (already had HZD artbook and the comics, whant more!) Oh, I also own a lot of @godliath digital Ereloy stuff
- I've started making 3 horizon (sort of) original cosplays/costumes (Banuk villager, Oseram brewer and Nora hunter) but I don't plan on them being finished until september 2024. I just need my body to work and get some energy again.. (breathing without pain would be nice, freaking asthma)
- Replaying HZD with Frozen Wild, I "gotta catch them all" to every thing including all the datapoints (so close now!) I started doing the same with HFW before Burning Shores, but somehow I lost a powercell in the base and a crate in a ruin so I need to start over😓
- Re-reading every thing Ereloy (my favorit ship with my favorit boy Erend 🥰) on AO3 + a few more in the Horizon 'vers
- Just startede with a few drawings to test ideas for a second Ereloy painting (still need get back that energy, long covid sucks big time🤬)
Currently reading:
I read a lot, like when my body hurts too much, when my brain needs a break, when I'm bored, sometimes when I work and Ialso read for fun.. On average 3 hours (or more) a day, often 300+ pages in a day and multiple books at the same time, and before I found AO3 that meant 500 or more books in a year.
So just now on AO3 I'm reading

On my kindle I just finished two of the books here today, and I am currently reading a few others
