#glitched acnh island
Text
Help-
my ACNH island is glitched. I recently deleted the account that purchased the DLC, but I still have the items from the DLC (like the souvenir chocolates and the DIY recipes for the counters).
In the same vein as this, I recently transferred the account of the island representative to a different Switch, though their character still exists in-game, with their name being mentioned by villagers and their house still existing on the map.
I’m averse to the idea of resetting, since I’ve done it before, but I’ve also gotten to a position where I’ve done basically everything.

Welcome to Moonstar, a historic town with a rich history. Explore our lovingly tended gardens and enjoy the many attractions Moonstar has to offer. Book your holiday today at: DA-8026-4680-2959
(Parts of the island may no longer be as they appear in this promotional video. We strongly advise that visitors not venture too far outside the town centre. Terms and conditions apply.)
Moonstar Island is an off-season tourist town with a dark history, but no actual horror elements. Have a look around and try to discover what happened, both in the distant past and shortly before your arrival. There are many nooks and crannies to explore! But beware, for it is said that strange creatures still roam the wilderness...
(eee I'm finally sharing my DA! It took me a long time to decide on a theme for my island, but while I'm still tweaking a few things I'm finally happy with it ^-^)

I have not disappeared but For Rents patch broke my game and was glitching out my Cyberpunk Megabuilding project, also made some 6th street sims and a cyberpunk makeover of the Caliente sisters but it was getting annoying and glitchy too to fix their outfits and I'm unmotivated knowing that my building is broken, and just generally not in the mood for nice screenshots.
So in the meantime I've taken up Animal Crossing again after more than a year of not playing. Opened up another random save and am building the museum in sims 4 because every time I play ACNH I always think "I need to build this in the Sims, you know where you can actually build and create stuff with freedom without paying Nook a billion bells or taking 5 years for one section of land or having to try to grab each individual object just to move it and it doesn't fit 😅
Seriously AC is a cosy fun game but honestly it's so clunky and slow and I don't get how people have such developed beautiful islands. The build won't be CC free but I'm trying to use base game and sims packs wherever I can instead of CC. The general structure and all the weird platforms and levels were the hardest and some parts glitch and the stairs don't work etc, the build doesn't translate well to the sims meaning I cannot build complex structures without problems ever and that's why all my houses are squares but overall I think it's coming together, it's mostly just decorating and then making the exterior not look shit which will be hard but I thought of using a lot of ivy (sims doesn't have magical Tardis bigger on the inside buildings so it's a bit blocky). I just realised I also haven't even started the Dinosaur fossil section which will be in the basement, but I'm leaving that till last. The botanical garden was a hard choice but I decided to use platforms as fake land because it is easier to fit it in the space. I'll be using a lot of @bakiegaming mods and things to hide ugly angles and make it look better. Had to change some layouts and stuff to fit the build in a square but I'm happy with it. I had tried building on 40x30 but it just did not fit so it's 50x50. The random upstairs rooms that hide the fish tanks are going to be extra space that I'll just put whatever I want. I now realise after playing more that this corresponds to an art museum i hadnt unlocked yet, so i guess ill do that. Could have been better with 64x64 but the game has barely any lots that big cause Sims 4 could never. If the final result does not have too much CC I'll definitely be sharing, I don't think I've shared a single build before.

Not posting terribly much because:
I have no new info to add to any of my reassurance posts about Ingo.
I haven't really played any Pokemon since I got Animal Crossing: New Horizons in mid-January. I did the raids and got Iron Leaves and Walking Wake, but until the DLC comes out or some major patches happen to SV, I'm really not invested. I like my party, and the Paradox Pokemon I was traded from Scarlet, but I'd rather hang out with them somewhere that isn't Paldea. The region is too empty to me and seems to only care about food vs literally every other aspect of the Pokemon universe, and the constant bugs, glitches, and graphical issues break my immersion constantly. I haven't completed the Dex, but once it has HOME compatibility (that isn't glitchy and risky to my save file, considering what problems SV has had linking to other games), I plan on moving some things I have from SwSh that are in the Paldea Dex rather than catch them again, and finishing off evolutions sometime later.
I am more invested in building my island in ACNH right now.
I'm doing more things offline right now. There are a lot of things in my home and my life I'm working on improving.
I have some ideas, not even theories, but ideas about certain dropped storylines in PLA and how they can be fixed in another game and region, but I'm not sure I want to post that, really.

Skeleton Island ACNH Day 12
Eugene has moved in, thats it for the daily news lol
Plucky gave me an iron shelf recipe
One of the plots of land I sold has someone moving into it, Octavian! I would have preferred Zucker when it comes octo villagers but any octo villager is awesome
Tumblr media
Kicks is here today, I didn't buy anything because I was broke and had only 27 bells on me
Bottle gave me a recipe I already had
Balloon gave me a bamboo wand recipe
Bought a monstera, mini cactus set, light wood pattern flooring, green delicate blooms wall, and a yellow flower print wall from Nooks
Sheldon ran up to tell me something but I accidentally hit him with my net so he didn't actually tell me anything.
Also anybody remember those game theories about Animal Crossing where they were like "your character is actually dead and living in purgatory" and all the thumbnails used the gyroid face glitch
Now we have our goal of getting 3 stars so K.K. can visit the island, currently I have a 1 star rating, I doubt I do, they're probably just saying that for the sake of the story, but I do definitely still need more villagers
I also have the ability to use amiibo cards now... I don't have any amiibo cards.
Bought the recipe for a spiky fence, probably won't use it but it doesn't hurt to have (or maybe it does, it IS spiky)
Also peep the new fit from yesterday
Tumblr media
Sheldon ran up to me again, luckily I didn't hit with my net this time, he gave me a clothesline pole
Guess I'll just be making cash for today

I'm glad the duplication glitch still exists in ACNH, because I am in the process of hunting for a specific villager for my second island due to not having his amiibo, and it makes the process of getting a ton of NMTs so much easier, without having to spend all my Nook Miles.
Better than getting scammed on Nookazon, too.
"But Gaby, that's cheating!"
Who is it hurting, though? Absolutely no one.

[I worked on my ACNH island again and updated it. I created an ancient gyroid forest inspired by the forest spirits from Princess Monoke and updated houses with new rooms. I’ll have the dream address below, but if you want to visit, please send me a im or discord message to arrange it.
Hopefully, my characters will look okay and not have glitches with their outfits. >.>]
Dream address: DA-0507-1515-4504
Name: Cay Zafiro,
“The crown jewel of the sea.”

So I got Animal Crossing: New Horizons a few weeks ago...
And I haven't played Pokemon: Violet since, and...I don't really miss it...
I haven't completed the Dex yet, but a lot of that is Pokemon I can just send over via HOME once that's added soon (the Dex seems really easy to complete in this one...actually easier than SwSh I think). The region is dull, 99% of the music is dull, somehow it feels like's a difference this time around with the Pokemon that are just kind of...animals but a different color than reality vs previous Gens but I can't figure out what it is. The glitches happen sometimes moments apart, and that combined with poor renders of not so distant things were constantly breaking my immersion, some characters are likeable but I don't find myself really attached to them...the story was weird and too little too late...
I think it sadly says a lot that I'm willing to just put down a game I haven't finished in a series I normally love because I can't find myself immersed in it or really caring about what goes on in it. I like my main party, but I'm not as attached to them as I was with my party in Sword. I thought SV might be games where I could rescue my Pokemon from Brilliant Diamond and PLA and send them to, so long as they weren't Dexit'd, but instead it seems like another game I'm going to have to rescue my Pokemon from and transfer to a future game that is hopefully better.
I'm having a lot of fun with ACNH even though it's slow to start (I won't time travel so I've had to wait literal days for things to happen). I played the first Animal Crossing, and barely played Wild World (DS controls took me out of it) and City Folk, but I know Animal Crossing is a series where there's more to do the more you play it. Right now I'm still trying to make a ton of bells and get more DIY recipes and items so I can actually start working on my island.
