Get in the Genloss train

I think it’d be funny if those of us obsessed with genloss just start to doodle the genloss logo on everything we can put it on. (Legally) Preferably don’t break any laws, avoid the Mona Lisa and such. And just spread it everywhere so people will begin to question what it means and also just in support of ranboo and the show

There’s a decent amount of us, I bet we could actually do something people start to uneasily notice. If not get them to join us, at least we can scare them a bit with this random symbol popping up places

Spread the trauma. Make them watch it. Give SFM a bigger audience

Edit: guys this is mostly just a joke. Be responsible. Do not actually vandalize property. Do not try and scare people with this logo. Try and keep it to your own property and people who you know are aware of genloss. As fun as it would be to spread it around because we know what it means, others do not and having an unknown symbol show up everywhere can be triggering and cause actuall paranoia and unease. Be respectful please!

Star Hunter spoiling their whole line-up before their official showcase on 26 April sure is a vibe.

There's going to be 5 new series and 2 movies (and two singles by their groups ELEMENT & COSMOS).

But first things first:

Sunset Vibes

Thank you Star Hunter I owe u my life 🙏

The tagline reads something like:

First day of internship... I don't know where to put my face. Who would have thought!! That the man who had the coolest moves in the bed last night was Than Prathan.

Negl this reminds me of a Big Dragon AU fic but I am so here for it. Looks like they're lowkey typecasting MosBank (and keeping JJ & Fong by their side?) but I guess that's what gets them the most viewers/brand deals etc.

2. Big Dragon The Movie 3. Acade X

I wonder if the Big Dragon movie is just a new cut or if it includes new scenes. Also, Acade X? I feel like this one has been in limbo forever.

4. Flirt Milk (because milk and Thai BL belong together)

5. True Moon (a campus moon & star BL - the way the BL gods intended)

6. City of Stars (at least one of the characters seems to be famous/an actor - also, I spy Kimmon all by his lonesome)

7. Love Senior (aka the GL version of GEN Y you've been waiting for)

So that's it - unless there's more surprises at the actual line-up (like Big Dragon series 2? Hello? 🥺). All of these seem pretty on brand for Star Hunter and if they're self-produced they're going to be pretty solid (if somewhat clichéd but I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing - or I wouldn't be a fan of Star Hunter in the first place lmao).

It's also interesting to note that all but Sunset Vibes is cast with newcomers, which is both nice and bittersweet. I thought they'd showcase ELEMENT more but I hardly see any of the guys in anything?

They wanted to write something for Showfall to make that involved older horror elements and Saw-esque traps and a shocking finale

Dream interpretation is certainly something, and it's taking it's time-

So I'm just gonna do a quick side review of current information and my predictions:

So far we have the following characters known to us

- The writer (who I've been calling Chronos)

- Jay (previously assumed she/her but I believe those belong to-)

- Mary (assumably Chronos' therapist)

- Chronos's boss (like, a million years old)

- Chronos' family, and dog

- XXXX (the "<- nevermind" one. I'm assuming that this is a person but who knows)

Stuff we know:

Something happened eight months ago and Chronos is trying their absolute best to ignore it. (I suspect X has something to do with it).

Chronos is having weird dreams, but is purposely ignoring their signicance (linked to right month ago event)

We may be affecting said dreams via the polls

they work at a tech place, one that specifically deals with fixing stuff, like VCR units

they do NOT work 6 jobs (they just had their job starting an hour earlier- 6 jobs would probably be more nightmarish than their dreams)

the year is 19XX, though very likely post-1972, cause of the mention of VCR unit. The fact they call some of the stuff like VCR units as "old" it's been a reasonable time since 1972. Sooo... 90s? Course, time could just be real friggin weird-

The polls has some strange influence over Chrono's reality. Specifically, messages through radios and such. (And a lil bit of dream stuff)

My current predictions of what is and is to come:

Chronos is gonna lose their family and the dog is gonna die (Yeah.....)

Jay may also die, and it will be directly because of Chronos actions. because I predict it so. (and it will be incidentally, but yeah.)

Chronos is gonna have to stop ignoring whatever happened eight months ago, but will in doing so is discover something super f--ed up about their reality (if they haven't seen a glimpse of this already) and how much of a lie it is and it's gonna make them go insane-

Mary and Chrono's boss aren't going to be super important, Mary may be mentioned again, but she won't play a major part.

and this final one is just entirely based off this fact:

I once designed an au world in which people were unaware of the fact they're living in dome cities and outside that is an absolutely apocalyptic world where the sun exploded and it's held together by magic and fantasy duct tape (it's a fantasy world, so ignore those elements) and yeah dome people don't know until one scientist realises the sky is like- super off. doesn't make sense mathematically or astrologically. And they go insane!

so if it turns out that they sky is f-ed and/or they're in a DOME CITY/TOWN (or something similar) I'm going to cry again because this will be the third time Chronos/Ranboo/GenLosers have apparently been on the same wave length as me-

(which is also just kinda the Truman show but I promise it's way more than that)

After many hours, 2 failed attempts, many stabbed fingers and 15 stressful minutes sitting in front of the oven, it’s finally done!

The wires aren’t the right colors yet, but does anyone recognize it? It’s my best attempt at one of the bombs from episode two!

It’s not as large as I’d have liked, and there’s for sure some problems that I’m sure will be fun to deal with if I ever try to remake these, but overall I’m proud of myself.

I was so scared baking it. I covered cut straws in a thin sheet of red clay to make it as light as possible, and was hoping I’d be able to remove the straws after I’d kept them in the freezer overnight. That didn’t exactly work, resulting in the two failed attempts I mentioned. I’ve never tried to put plastic straws in the oven before, so I sat on my kitchen floor for the whole 15 minutes praying the plastic wouldn’t start bubbling out like some B movie monster.

Anyway, I’m really proud of myself for getting this done. It’s not quite finished yet, but it’s close, and it’s still really close to what I was hoping I’d be able to get for the final product.

Episode 3 — Sets

Ranboo, now thoroughly confused and wary, stepped off the escalator and started walking down a random hallway. Most of the rooms this way appeared either empty or closed, and he didn’t look too closely at any as he passed. He was just searching for something that told him where he was or offered an escape.

Farther down the hallway he saw a room that seemed to be open, so he approached. As he neared it, he could see that it ended rather abruptly, with a wall much closer to the door than it should be. When he reached the opening, he could finally see the whole “wall”. There was a section in the middle that looked like it would rotate, with a strange statue on it. A yellow “Caution: Floor Is Wet” sign was placed in front of this. It looked like the floor was mopped recently, and a barely visible streak of brownish-red could be seen.

Ranboo was hit with a sudden piercing feeling in his head, and he bent over double gripping onto his head like his life depended on it. He could see flashes of things he didn’t remember: a group of people putting on wigs and random clothing, strutting down the middle of the room. A face flashed to the front of his mind, a face with a strangely big chin and wearing a hat. It was replaced by a mask before disappearing just as quickly as it had appeared.

The pain in Ranboo’s head dissipated, and he straightened himself back up for a last glance at the room before running back out into the hall. Out of nowhere, he felt like someone had hit him on the head with a hammer, and he caught a glimpse of a pool of blood where the now cleaned spot is. The pain faded immediately, but he glared over his shoulder at the room as if blaming it for the fakeout.

Continuing on his way, he reached a large open room that contained a row of fake rooms in the middle, like a set for a show. The rooms looked like an old cabin of some sort. Ranboo had a strange feeling as he approached the set, but he continued forward into one of the sections. It looked like a basement, full of clutter and boxes, but one thing was out of place.

There was a cage beneath the stairs; it was empty but Ranboo saw a man and a skeleton within it in his peripheral vision as he turned to it from examining some shelves.

A pressure started to build up in Ranboo’s head, and he began to get dizzy. Sitting down on the floor so he wouldn’t fall, he waited for it to pass. However, instead of the dizzy spell passing, Ranboo started seeing things he didn’t quite remember again.

A weird man with horns, covered in slime.

A guy with a hat sitting in that cage under the stairs.

A weird dimension where everything was red and fiery.

A skeleton, whose name was on the top of his tongue.

Himself and the slime man fighting in the attic section of the set.

Then, Ranboo remembered. He remembered waking up in the cabin. He remembered meeting Slimecicle and having to make food for him out of the weird fridge (which, by the way, he still couldn’t figure out how it worked). He remembered getting Sneeg out of the cage, and the fight when Slimecicle gooped him with the bucket on the ceiling. Sneeg being killed by the weird shark-thing. Fighting Slimecicle in the attic, where he absorbed him into the towel.

He remembered waking up chained to a chair in a “warehouse”. Having to play the Puzzeler’s games, and all the others dying. And he remembered Hetch, thinking he could trust him, thinking he could escape. And finally, he remembered—

—He remembered dying. He remembered being tied up, unable to move, with his head stuck in a box. The spikes piercing his face and mask, the agony he felt as he had to wait for his own final breath, praying he would die just a little faster, praying for his end to come quickly so he didn’t have to suffer any longer.

And finally, nothing. Everything faded into black. He was dead.

But now, now he was back. And he couldn’t understand why, or how, this could have happened. It couldn’t have been Showfall, they wanted him dead, there was no reason to bring him back. But there was no time for answers.

He remembered, but who else did? Probably none of the other “actors”, he was lucky to have learned, to break free of the cycle. So, it was his duty to help them escape too. No one else would, but more importantly, no one else could.

Charlie Slimecicle is just better than everyone

I love watching Charlie’s reaction to episode one and him just being completely shocked at some of the things he said. He was so in character he became a a fully goopy gunky demon guy. Charlie did not exist during ep 1

Also the fact that his goal in the show was to make the rest of the crew break?? Fantastic. Terrifying for those involved but we got some of the best lines of the show from chaos Charlie

still can't stop thinking about just how unsettling gl!Ranboo's death was. we've seen so many die in gen loss by this point already. in more horrific cases, there's screams of terror. there's some sort of fight against it, an unwillingness. it drags on, and on, and on, and yet it's still played off as just part of this show. even in the more comedic instances, the show at the very least keeps going. you don't have time to linger on it. there's still life to be found. the music is still rolling. a mascot is still around to commentate such events. it's too late for the lives lost, but not for the rest, is what you want to tell yourself, despite how doomed you know they all are.

gl!ranboo, on the other hand, screams on behalf of his own demise, admitting defeat in their final moments, simply because if they were always destined to lose (they were) then they at least wish to do something on his own terms, even if it's finding peace in the worst way possible. it was the only choice, the only chance he saw left at freedom, and they were probably right about it. this is the instance in which the audience is given the decision to have blood on our hands, specifically (given the fact that in the midst of the carousel hostage scenario we could only ever 'save' one), and we listen. we give them the choice they can't make alone. we let him go. we watch him go.

it's a sudden action. it's so quiet. the music is gone. there's no struggle because it's too late for it. he's already detained. they've already cried out at the top of their lungs in anguish and struggled enough in far too many chains to ever dream of getting out of in time. it is hopeless, and it always was, but it's clearer in this instance now more than ever. for a moment, you want to think this can't truly be it. perhaps he'll be lucky, somehow survive a literal death trap. perhaps showfall is just putting this on, too, as part of their show. perhaps they'll let him go, the second this is all over, if he miraculously makes it out. we wished for their death, didn't we? could they really add him onto their cast, afterwards, going against our wishes? you know these are foolish ideas. you toy with them anyways. you are used to, by now, a show that keeps going. you want this show to keep going, even if not with gl!ranboo in turmoil.

and then the blood drips down. the credits roll. you sealed that fate yourself. there was never a good one that lied waiting for you. but you could have avoided any guilt you felt by simply never watching, like we'd been told from the start, and in the midst of that silence, you're never more aware of it.
