🦅 Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants?
I have a very very big 'overall' plan for gitm! A sort of scaffolding of events I want to happen, rather than a point by point outline.
Each post-it is a scene yet to be slapped into my chapter plan (which is super loose), including major events and ideas and scenes id like to squeeze in at some point.
My writing is strongest when I'm discovery writing, so often I will start a scene with only the barest idea of how I want it to play out. I really like it when characters surprise me! Everything just gets edited a lot later for continuity :)

Just started reading GITM
Only read the first 3 chapters so far, but. Wow. I see why people love it so much.
My thoughts on characters so far (Slight spoiler warning):
Y/N: They are clearly not having a good time :D But their awkwardness and nerdyness is very fun and relatable :)
Soliel: I'm getting bad vibes from him. I'm not quite sure what he is up to, but he feels like he is hiding something.
Fool: My FAVOURITE so far. He is so silly and fun. Deranged theatre kid.
Misuta: He's cool. Like... the DEFINITION of cool. He should learn to accept help from Y/N, though. His love for his magazines is really endearing! :)
Sunspot: I think he is adorable! I thought he was a human, judging by the art. But I was wrong! He cares about others so much. It's so sweet! I really want to try his pancakes, though.
Sophie: oof. I can't think of anything nice to say about her. She was SO rude to Sunspot and Y/N, too. I don't know what Harry sees in her. BUT! First impressions can be misleading.
Harry: He hasn't made an APPEARANCE yet, but I've read about him in flashbacks. He seems like a quirky old man. I also don't believe for a SECOND that he is nuerotypical.
Ruin: Technically, he has APPEARED in the story, but he seems like a mangled lifeless shell right now. Poor guy :(

Mystery Snippet Monday! [Part 2!]
@darksidechick823 requested #5, which was GITM!
Spoilers for Chapter 5 under the cut:
Considering the only thing he knew about breakfast in this hotel was Joey’s claim of “tiny muffins”, Yugi was pleasantly surprised to find much more than baked goods in the dining room. An entire display of muffins and pastries, a bagel basket, and toast and jam were a table all their own. Three more made up hot buffets and an omelet station. All looking and smelling leagues better than the offerings given to him in the hospital.
He shuffled down the line, following Téa as he looked over the offerings. At least Joey was right about one thing – the muffins were indeed very small.
“So I have to ask,” he started, once they sat down at a table in the corner. “With everything here, how did you have the appetite to order half the things off the hospital menu?”
“This is Joey we’re talking about,” said Tristan, and he elbowed Joey in the side. “Mr. Bottomless Stomach isn’t going to turn down free food at any opportunity.”
Téa quickly butted in before Joey could get a snide word in at Tristan. “Actually,” she said, pointing towards the hot buffet with her fork, “When we came down yesterday, I think it was near the end of breakfast. Most of the hot food was already gone.”
“Yeah. Why do you think I raided all them tiny muffins?” said Joey. “But today? We’re goin’ prepared. Once we’re done, I’m takin’ plates back up to our room, for later.”
Téa sighed. “You know that there’s an open restaurant in the hotel. We don’t have to eat breakfast all day.”
“Téa,” Tristan said in the most serious no-nonsense tone of voice, “There is nothing better than all-day breakfast. And you know food in this place is gonna cost more than my motorcycle payment – per person!”
“Somehow I don’t think it’ll be that expensive,” said Yugi.
“It doesn’t matter,” said Téa. “We’re charging it to the room, remember?”
“Yeah?” Joey countered, waving his banana wildly in the air. “And who’s gonna pick up the tab, huh? I sure ain’t.”

yo if gitm is supposed to be abt jet dealing with trauma why the fuck wasnt there a single mention of the plot of the game. was that on purpose to avoid spoilers for ppl who enjoyed the movie but hadnt played the game? or was it genuinely just a weird choice writing wise?

Helloo~ I'm not sure if it count as spoiler or not, but I'm too curious to ask. I started to follow your blog not too long ago after starting your fic, so I'm not familiar with your plans and I noticed the... lack of Moon version. All I know is Misuta. So I was wondering how many Moon there would be in the end (or at least in the futur) ? Love your art by the way *chef kiss*
I'll be adding an answer to the FAQ for this as it gets asked a lot. There are plenty of Moon versions in GITM, they are just very plot centric, so I have been very quiet about them. Including Misuta there are at least five moons who will be part of the main plot!
