Aaron Warner is a good father.

He really is, he educated himself on the risks, pros and cons, he even bought himself a book on how to take care of his pregnant wife, a beginners guide on being a father and what not.

He would like to pride himself that he knows about everything, knows how to handle when the baby cries, when the baby throws a tantrum, or when his daughter wants something and such.

but…

If there was one fact no one mentioned to Warner about being a father, it was just how quickly his sex life would evaporate.

He loves dior, he really does. She is his most beloved daughter, baby girl, light of his life, his princess, his Achilles heel (plus you, of course.) and unfortunately the bane of his existence.

but of course there are some times that he just wants an alone time with you, his beautiful wife without being interrupted by a certain little princess.

All because you drove him to madness, igniting an insatiable desire within him, awakening the hidden beast that eagerly salivated and panted in response to your lustful glances, strategically unleashed whenever the mood struck.

He would be a fool to lie and pretend you didn’t stir something inside of him, some wretched version of himself rattled the bars of its cage, akin to a hurricane relentlessly tearing through barriers to reach you whenever you allowed your sugar-sweet voice to caress his sensitive ears.

He was a slave for the love you easily gave him as if it’s the easiest thing you can ever do. How can you easily love someone like him? a hopeless man yearning for thirst and begging for a single drink, a solitary taste, as if dying of thirst and pleading at your feet.

You were his goddess, and the privilege of sharing your bed, your throne, surpassed all his wildest dreams. Simply being by your side was more than he believed he deserved, and he vividly recalled the day he first encountered you—the day you convinced him that he was truly worth something.

The room is awash with the silvery glow of the moon, you notice, setting a tranquil atmosphere that amusingly contradicts the feverish warmth of Aaron's caresses. His kisses trace a journey from the curve of your neck to the hollow of your navel. However, any sense of composure shatters when your husband playfully bites your right nipple, sending all rational thoughts scattering out the window.

“Ah, Aaron,” you groan after a sharp nip against your collarbone. “fuck! baby…I—we can’t—!”

“Shh, we can, love. Dior is asleep” he whispers against your ear, “just let me take care of my wife, yeah?” He said as he caressed your hair, admiring your beauty under him. “It’s just us…” he said as he chuckled and that made you shiver.

“Pretty, momma…look at you, my pretty wife.” Aaron shifts to readjust himself as he hurriedly vanishes the remaining clothes and attacks your lips and kisses you passionately and hungrily as if he has been starved for years.

“Gods—look at you, ma, pretty as life and poison, want me to put another baby on you, hm?” he said as he dragged his teeth against your chest to taste your beating heart and he then placed soft and slow kisses on your face while stroking your face with his thumb.

You draw him closer, intending for a light and sweet kiss to allow your husband to continue his gentle touches. Yet, it’s not your fault that you find yourself getting lost in the sheer perfection that is Warner.

He, in turn, envelops both of you with his hand, stirring a gentle desire for more within you and oh, dear god, you need more.

Just as you are about to open your mouth to voice out your desires for a little more, a soft, almost inaudible knock interrupts the intimate moment.

The unmistakable soft voice of your three-year-old daughter pierces through the room, calling out, “momma..? dada..?” Panic flashes between you and Aaron, and hastily, you both scramble to locate your discarded clothes.

“mommy! daddy!” yelled dior through the door as she started knocking continuously that makes you and your husband panic more. “‘s da door broken..?!”

“just a second, princess,” Aaron softly calls out, panicking when his hard-on doesn’t seem to go away. Hell.

He glances up at his wife and stares at you, baffled when he realizes that you had already put on your night gown and on your way to open the door.

“Wha—how?” he asks in disbelief. “You were literally just—”

“Don’t underestimate me.” You joked.

Aaron dismissively shakes his head, muttering under his breath, and takes a seat on the bed, discreetly covering his arousal with the white comforter just as Dior bursts into the room and enthusiastically throws herself into your arms.

“Hey, baby,” you whisper, gently rubbing comforting circles on her back. “Nightmare, love?”

"Uh-huh," Dior nods against your neck, her tears leaving your nightgown slightly damp.

you picked her up and went to the bed as dior hugged her dad, sniffing as she softly cried, “oh, darling. What happened, princess? hm?” Asked Warner as he hugged his crying daughter to his arms.

“I—hiccup t-thought monsters got you,” said dior, her green eyes filled with tears. you then pulled her into a hug.

“aw, baby, we are fine,” you said, patting her back. you brush the blonde curls out of your daughter’s eyes. “yeah, sweetheart, no monsters here.”

“Are you sure?” She asked, looking suspiciously around their room.

“Promise,” you replied, assuringly as you stood up to rock her to calm her down.

“We promised, sweet princess. And if there is, daddy will scare the ugly monsters away,” your husband assured her from the bed as dior starting to calm down,

“really?” she said with a shaky voice and a glassy doe eyes and you almost cried seeing her state.

Poor baby.

“I promise, Di, daddy will protect you and momma.” Aaron said sincerely as you rocked her back and forth in your arms, running your fingers through her wild curls.

Dior sniffles start to quiet down. “Mhm…,” she says. “Can I stay here?” She looks at you with puppy eyes that is impossible for you to say no so you nodded.

“Of course, princess ,” Aaron responds, quietly mourning the loss of one night with his wife, alone.

As you continue rocking Dior in your arms, attempting to lull her into a peaceful slumber, your efforts are momentarily interrupted by her sweet voice, breaking the silence of the room.

“Mommy?” Dior queries after a few minutes, perched on your lap with a wide-eyed expression. “What's wrong with daddy?”

Your gaze shifts toward Aaron, who remains sprawled face-down on the bed, emitting occasional groans and muffled whines in his attempt to compose himself for the sake of your toddler. Suppressing a grin, you find amusement in his comical efforts.

“Well, Di,” you murmur, showering light kisses on your daughter’s chubby cheeks to conceal your amusement. “I think your daddy is having a nightmare, much like the one you just experienced.”

Dior gasps in innocent concern. ”Oh no! Mommy, give daddy kisses to scare the monsters away!”

Smiling at her pure-hearted suggestion, you gently explain, “I don’t think that will help, sweet thing.” Observing Dior's face scrunch up in confusion, you swiftly add, ”You see, adults have different nightmares than kids do.”

“But kisses always help!” Dior insists with unwavering conviction.

”Well, if you insist,” you reply, giving in to her innocent plea, and share a quiet laugh at the sheer delight evident on Dior's face.

As you comply with dior’s request, you peppered kisses onto your husband’s face, eliciting a chorus of giggles from both him and Dior.

After showering Aaron with a cascade of kisses, he playfully remarks, "Mhm, daddy is okay now, but he'll be even more okay if you give daddy a kiss too."

Dior, with her eyes sparkling, responds enthusiastically, "Okay, Daddy!" She complies, peppering him with a flurry of sweet kisses as you heard Aaron giggles so you did, and in the midst of the joyous exchange, she graciously plants kisses on your face, too.

“Thank you, baby. Ready for sleep?” You asked and the response is a barely there nod.

“Love you and g’night, little missy.” You whisper, your voice sounds like a lullaby to the quiet room.

Aaron chimes in, taking on the role of the protector, “daddy will be right here, chasing away any monsters that dare to bother you, emerald.”

Dior, even in her drowsy state, manages to mumble a sleepy “luvu, daffy, momfy” before succumbing to dreams. The room, now quiet except for the soft breathing of your little one.

Your husband then looked at you and softly smiled, “I’ll chase all of your monsters away, too, love.” you softly giggled and gave him a peck.

However, as the night deepens, you feel a pair of eyes on you. Turning your attention, you find your husband, his expression akin to a kicked puppy, a playful pout adorning his features. It’s a silent plea for the solitude that eluded him tonight, a longing for those moments when it’s just the two of you.

You meet his gaze, understanding the unspoken disappointment in his eyes. As a promise of solace, you assure him with a tender look that whispers, ”Next time, it'll be just us.” you promised him.

And you were never the one who breaks promises.

So, was it really a surprise that after you fulfilled your promise you found yourself with two positive pregnancy tests?

No, not really.

I am broken beyond repair or if allowed a pun shattered. this book made me cry, made me laugh, and made me want to die. Kenji was so good and I'm kinda sad he didn’t get more chapters towards the end of the book cause I literally love him so much and like him Nazeera is cute and badass but why is she so confusing?! like girl pick if you want to date him or not edging me like this will get you nowhere Tahereh. Jules and Aaron were perfect as always and like holy shit the shower scene 💳💥💳💥 and then him proposing I almost died. I'm embarrassed with how many emotions I felt over words on a paper cause like who even knew I had so many? Ella’s pov broke me so much and all the flashbacks were too much for me to handle i thought reading was a joyful hobby. guess not. I really hope we see her and Emma together also you can tell Ella’s matured so much I'm so proud of her she’s so badass <333 Aaron broke me like when I said break me I meant my back not my heart, ok buddy? all the memories were so heartbreaking and just seeing the way he clings to Ella because she’s the only person he’s been able to be himself with like 😭 also his relationship with Kenji is so cuteeee'm still angry we didn’t see him blow the birthday candles tho, I can’t believe aaron and Ella are engaged they’re my babies I love them so much ❤️❤️❤️ I hate how this review will never be enough to put into words all my thoughts for this book but I promise y’all the book is annotated to the last word. ꒰ Aaron Warner Anderson is the only emotional through line in my life that ever made sense. i've finally gotten to a point in my life where i'm not afraid to speak. where my shadow no longer haunts me. and i don't want to lose that freedom--not again.

was that alva bratt? oh no no, that was just juliette ferrars, a canon character from shatter me. they are nineteen years old, use she/her, and are not aware that they are not actually from Washington DC. too bad they can’t stray from this city for long.

and any other information you might find useful for us and the other members to know: ok going to go through a couple of things. some bullet points on things jullette has gone though. her touch is lethal, but she's gotten to a point where she can control it and can actually touch people without hurting them. she's also super strong and can punch the earth and cause an earthquake. badass short girl. but here is her wiki page.

she's had this kind of lethal touch for as long as she could remember. the people that raised her would mistreat her, her classmates wouldn't go near her because everyone knew that she was dangerous.

she only knew her touch could hurt someone, she never knew if she touched another person long enough, it could kill them.

not until she was 14 years old. there was a little boy. he had tripped and fell and his mother was ignoring him so juliette attempted to help him and didn't realize what was happening until it was too late.

she's then locked up until the age of 17. she's completely alone and only has a notebook that she stole to write her thoughts in.

she then gets a roommate and she realizes later, she knows him. i can't remember how long he's there for before some soldiers come one day and she thinks she's going to be killed. turns out adam was a soldier and she's introduced to warner, who wants to use her as a weapon.

she finds out that adam can touch her and through everything going on around her, it feels nice. especially since she hasn't felt another person's touch in such a long time. she and adam escape after a couple of weeks, but when it happens, she realizes that adam isn't the only one that can touch her. warner can too.

gonna ghost over what happens, but they end up with a bunch of people who also have powers. turns out, adam has powers and that's why he can touch her, but they're starting not work and her touch is starting to hurt him. he even ends up needing medical attention because of it.

they end up taking warner aka aaron now, hostage after juliette shoots his father in the legs. shit goes down at this moment okay. turns out aaron and adam are actually half brothers. yeah.

everyone finds out that aaron can touch her too. adam and juliette broke up before this but he's refusing to let go. even though her touch is hurting him now. juliette gets a lot closer to aaron and figures out why he is the way he is. they have moments, even make out before he leaves. but aaron has powers too. adam can disable others powers and aaron can take them and use them.

there ends up being this big fight and julliette is taken by aaron and adam's dad's soldiers and bombs the place all there people are at, killing hundreds before he shoots julliette in the chest.

she almost dies but there are these two healer's and though they can't touch her, they can touch aaron and he can use their power to save her and he did.

she's back in the compound when she wakes up and freaks out a little bit. but aaron helps a lot. when she decides that she wants to kill his father, he's ready for it. he hates his father a lot, but he can't kill the man. he explains a lot of what happened while juliette was there before and why he was so interested in her cause while she can't touch people, his mother has an issue where she can't be touched. she can't even move because of the pain it causes her. she's both the source of the power and victim.

i'll stop here because this is just where i stopped in the third book but please read these books. i need to scream.

We don’t stop as the sun rises behind us. Connor wakes up at the first rays of light - just like he did when he was a baby. His eyes flicker awake and he looks out to the fields, immediately trying to understand where he is. He sees me and relaxes.

“Mom”, he whispers, pulling his legs up to the seat that was too big for him. I try my best to smile.

“Hey, baby.” I touch his knee slightly and try not to be sad about the way he tenses up again. I pull my hand back. “Did you sleep well?”

“I guess…” He rubs his belly, shifting on the seat. “Are we there yet? I’m hungry.”

“Just a little left, Con.” I put both my hands on the wheel, trying to stop the instinct of running my fingers through his hair. I hadn’t realized how accustomed I was to touch them until I couldn’t. “Do you want to talk about what I’ve told you yesterday?”

Connor is silent for a couple of minutes, which is unlike him. I keep starting at the road, giving him the time he needs. I start to think he went back to sleep, but when I look at him, he’s wide awake.

“Yes. I want to talk about it.”

He says, in a decided voice I hardly ever hear. I nod.

It’s hard to think about what to say. If you’re worried about me hurting you then you’re absolutely right you should be scared of me you should keep yourself far away as much as it pains me I normally can hold myself but there can come a day where I can’t and if I ever hurt you my world would go up in flames and there would be nothing else

“Mom? Did you hear me?”

I shake my head, trying to clear my mind from these intrusive thoughts. I look ahead, struggling to keep my eyes on the road.

“Hm? Sorry, baby, I think got distracted for a second”

“I asked about these people. Your parents. And dad’s parents. What are they to me?”.

Nothing, I wanna say. They mean nothing, my sweet Connor, and you never have to waste a second of your life thinking about them, not like I have, this was never the life I dreamed for you.

“They were your grandparents”, I say begrudgingly.

“What happened to them?”, he asked, almost immediately.

“They died”.

“Did they die or did you kill them?”

I’m shocked at how coldly he says it. He’s staring at the road, his hands holding tightly to each other. I take a deep breath, shifting my hands at the wheel. Suddenly every position seems the most uncomfortable one I could possibly be.

“Does it matter?”

“It matters.”

I sigh.

“We killed them. Your dad killed his dad. And I killed both my parents.” I make a turn and the sound of the road’s dirt lifting up covers up my swallowing hard. When the sound dimmers, I hear Connor whisper.

“Why?”

“Because of what I told you. They had to be stopped. They made things… To me, to your father, to other people… That were unforgivable. They wouldn’t stop any other way. And we had to make sure they couldn’t hurt anyone anymore.”

“But why? Why you?” He made small firsts, thumping on his own thighs. “You guys are farmers, how can you kill people?!”

I can’t help but remember what Kenji told me. That dirty liar. About my kids understanding, about them accepting me the way I was. I should have never let him stay, let him get in my head. But now it was done and I had to find a way to control the situation before I lost another one of my kids.

“There will be times in your life, Connor, that you’ll find yourself in a position you never wanted to be in, but that no one else could take your place.” I say, my voice growing louder, hoping I could let him know everything I wish I could spin it into words. Maybe if I had pen and paper, maybe if I had time. But my tongue twisted on itself and it was so hard to communicate anything at all. “And I hope you never ever have to do the choices I had to. I did all of this so there would be better a world for children like you and your sister. So that no one would have to grow up locked in a room or getting tortured or beaten or having no food.”

When I snap out of it, I can feel Connor’s eyes on me. They grew larger, but they never budge. He looks at his own hands, opening and closing his hands. He’s quiet for a while and I focus on the way, trying not to look at him, afraid of what I would find in his eyes.

“What about me?”

“What about you, sweetie?”

He opens and closes his little hands again.

“Was I… Was I made like you were? And Pyp? Because I have powers like you guys have… Do I have to hurt people too? Is that why Pyp left? Was she scared?”

I slowly decrease the Humvee’s speed until we stop at the side of the road. I look at my son. My expression is grave, as much as I want it to warm up, to show him it’s okay. My heart is breaking, but I somehow manage not to shake as I wait for him to look at me. He lifts his green eyes, curious. His hands are on top of his lap, fiddling nervously.

“Connor Sommers-Warner.” I say, I as hardly ever do. In our small world, in our house, there was hardly any need for calling for him his full name. Out here everything was different. I knew exactly who he is, that doesn’t mean he does.

I remember the baby he was and the feeling of holding his warm body against my chest. I remember his hurried breath, his small hands and fingernails, the smell of his hair. I remember all of the promises I made to him even before he was born, even when he was just an idea, hardly as big as an orange. What I kept whispering when he was so small I couldn’t believe. What I sang to him as lullabies.

“You know why we gave you and your sister the last names we did?”

“Because it’s your guys’ last names together?” He asked. I shook my head.

“We were done with what we had to be. We were ready to leave it all behind forever and never looking back. We were going to let you - and, well, your sister too, but she wouldn’t come for another two years - be Ferrars. My fake name, from when I moved to North America.” Connor leaned in, listening. “It was who I was when we met the last time. Juliette was who brought us together, even if she was made up. But… As time passed… We realized we couldn’t keep running. And as terrible, horrible and no good our past was… We had to understand it was there. And there were good things in our paths, things we wouldn’t want to leave behind.”

I’m about to fix his hair, but I stop myself, pulling my hand back. Connor sees it, but he doesn’t say anything, afraid to interrupt me.

“If you were a girl… We couldn’t agree on either name you after my sister, your aunt Emmaline. Or your grandmother, you father’s mother Leila. We just agreed they were names that just wouldn’t fit together. As you turned out to be a boy… We decided to give you a new name. With no shadow from what came before. But still… Keeping in mind that there was heritage to be proud of. So we gave you Sommers so you’d be… Well, not like me, but brave like your aunt Emmaline. And Warner. So you’d be kind like your grandmother Leila.”

Connor contemplated this new information, nodding to himself. I continue, because I need him to listen. He never listens, but just this once. I need it to stay with him. I need this to stick, because I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to say it again.

“So, Connor, please. Don’t ever think you’re restricted by who your grandparents were. Or even by who your dad and me are. You’re your own person. You’re free to do whatever you want. You weren’t build to be anyone else than yourself. And you should never ever let anyone tell you otherwise.”

My face is burning. My face is burning because there is a fire inside of me. My heart has already been reduced to ashes. The water inside me has boiled and is trying to escape through my eyes. My throat is closed with the smoke of terrible dreams coming through. As soon as Connor’s eyes leave me, I’m sure I’ll break apart. I’ll fall into a million little pieces. I hope he doesn’t look back so he doesn’t see it, I hope he never lives to regret it, to regret putting me behind. I close my eyes, trying to hide the pain.

Connor’s head fits perfectly under my chin. His hair is so soft. He climbs over the stick of the humvee and he sits on my lap, arms around my waist. I stand still for a moment, breathless, scared that if he holds on to me too hard, I’ll break apart. But that’s not what he does.

Connor and Olympia, they’re so much better. Than me, than Aaron, than anyone I’ve met. They fix, they heal. They make the world better. They fill it with joy and excitement. I feel Connor get into my crevices, putting them back together, extinguishing the fire, dissipating the smoke, clearing the air. I put my arms around him and I sob against his shoulder. I cry because the relief is unbelievable. A weight I didn’t know that was crushing my lungs is finally gone. Now that fear - of being where I started, rightfully alone and unlovable - is no more. And I owe it all to him. To this small incredible human being I made.

“Now it’s time to go, mom.” Connor says after a while, nuzzling my neck. For a second, it’s like he’s the parent and I’m the child. He pulls away from me, using his hands to dry my face. “We have to go find Pyp.”

I remember back when I played football in high school. But let’s start from the beginning.

I played pop warner when I was like 7 years old. I was extremely shy and small and didn’t really get much playing time because of that. But I was fast, and that went overlooked too. I played for the Anaheim Lions. I remember a lot of moments...wow... -I wore a red tank top to the first day and was late. -I remember our running back...he was light skinned, half hispanic half white kid. I remember thinking at the time that he reminded me of the kid on our fridge who our family sponsored in Ecuador. -One day in practice, I ran down that star player and the coach was amazed that he got caught. He asked who got him and I raised my hand, and then the coach said something about angles and tackling as if it wasn’t just my raw speed. I was so overlooked, but I was way too shy to speak up about anything. -Before a game when we were all lined up to go out to the field, I don’t remember how it was brought up, but some teammates were talking about who was faster, and I think I spoke up and said I was faster than someone, that someone being “Lupe”, and everyone said he was faster, but I knew the truth. So we actually raced to a tree and back and I won.

Then I played flag football in 6th grade at Calvary Chapel Downey. We had coach Gallegos. He’d always say, “Alright, guys, now check it out...” haha, my best friend at the time and still to today, Josh, does the best impression of coach doing that exact quote. Wow next memory rush incoming... -I remember Dominic...wow...now I’m just thinking about all of 6th grade... but let me try and stay on track here... -I remember one of the first days, everyone was really hyped that I was out there and gonna play. I was a new student in 5th grade, and my athleticism, sport IQ, and top tier speed was evident at recess and lunch year round. So anyways, we did this drill where you had to juke a guy 1v1 and get thru the flags. And when it was my turn everyone was watching with anticipation, and I could feel it. And the coach was like all interested because word had gotten around from some of the other students I guess, so yeah haha. Then my flag got pulled everytime in the drill lol. Like I couldn’t utilize my speed cuz the boundries were so narrow and this was my first time wearing flags (you have to juke a certain way to be effective). -I remember Elijah Denton was our punter. -I was named 3rd string running back at beginning of the season, but I got the ball the most. But we had a lot of good players and we went undefeated... -until we lost in the championship in a fluky game with possible ref bias to a team we had beaten before. -I had a long touchdown run along the sideline and the ref called it back saying I stepped on out of bounds and I remember I was upset about that. -I got MVP at the awards ceremony.

Then I played flag football in jr. high. Wow memory flood... So it was 7th and 8th grade together on a team. This is still at Downey... My goodness I’m having so many memories of jr. high now. I’ll have to write about some of these memories another time. But for football when I was in 7th grade, I remember... -once, my girlfriend, Kristine, came to one of my games. We kinda became a thing in 6th grade. OH MY GOSH, I’m remembering so much now. I’ll have to write about this later too. ANYWAYS, her mom took a picture of us together at that game and I still have that picture. She was so much taller than me haha! But I think it’s normal for girls to start getting taller before guys, right? Especially around that age. -I remember our head coach, Coach Jones. Did not like him. Not a nice person at all. My talent went overlooked. I was still very shy. -I remember intercepting a ball that was thrown to his son in practice; Tyler was his name, and he started pouting like it was pass interference (lol no way), and his dad starting telling me, “you can’t go through the receiver...” blah blah blah. -I remember Eric Toscano, and how I would carpool with him and vice versa since they lived kinda close to us. -The coaches really got hyped on Eric one practice in the middle of the season cuz he was doing well and then they made him a starter. -I was pretty much overlooked. Underutilized talent per usual, partly because I’m so quiet and stuff. -Mr. Mendez was a coach too. His son was also on the team, 8th grader. Mr. Mendez was nice. -During the season I was getting really bad pains in my ankles and knees and my doctors diagnosed it as growing pains. I remember taking tylenol grape chewable tablets before practice. -I just sat in my chair for a few minutes thinking about this memory, wondering also if I should even share it, but I think I will. I even cried at one practice because we were all getting yelled at and doing sprints and my ankle was in so much pain, but I was too shy to say anything and plus Coach Jones is not a nice, approachable, understanding person. So it got to a point where I just went down on one knee and grabbed my ankle and I started crying a bit.  -There was a time where Ian was like my new friend. He was an 8th grader, super funny, and for whatever reason, he decided he wanted to be friends with me. I was thrilled with this new friendship to be honest. I remember after the end of one of our games he was like, “Where’s Maxx?!” so we could celebrate the win together. And then later when I was home, my dad asked me who that guy was that was looking for me after the game. -But that friendship with Ian was short lived. It seemed to me to be a thing that he did often. He would move from person to person like every 2 weeks. I don’t know if that was intentional or what, but I did observe that. -I remember a play I made on a kickoff where the other team did this lateral across the field on their return and I saw it coming all-day; not because it was obvious, I just have high football IQ (just being honest lol). And I pulled the guy’s flag soon as he caught the ball. And I went back to the sideline and Coach Jones gave me a high five and said “Way to stay home baby!”. And he was right, I stayed home just like I should have. But in my mind, I was thinking I should have been more aggressive and tried to intercept the lateral, because I saw it coming. Had I been more comfortable in the coaching staff knowing who I was and in my actual ability, I probably would’ve had the confidence to pull the trigger and not be afraid at taking shots at big plays. -Once at the end of the game, I was put in the game because we were gonna win and we were just running the ball to kill the clock. I was hoping to at least get the ball, get some handoffs. But I didn’t. All went to Aaron. I was upset. Then when I went to the sideline my bestie Josh told me that one of the coaches suggested to give me the ball for a play and Coach Jones said “No, he’ll screw it up.” -I think our banquet was at a Shakey’s. Ok, now 8th grade football was an absolute delight. It was probably the most fun year of football in my life. I just remembered, where our games and practice field were. We’d have to cross the street together at the crosswalk every day after school. I have a lot of memories on that field. So yeah, 8th grade football was filled with so much laughter with my best friends. -I remember having a race to see who was the fastest and I was so happy to hear it. So everyone raced and I won. But there was one kid who was actually not too far behind, and that was Joshua Guerra, a 7th grader. I remember him showing everyone his six pack in the locker room lol. But I went and talked to him after practice in the locker room and telling him he’s fast and stuff and he was pretty nice and polite, but he said he was surprised, and I could tell it bothered him (confirmed true). But I get it, I had been an elite fast kid my whole life. To lose a race would be test the ego was not used to. -We had Coach Hearron (I just looked up his name to see if I was spelling it correctly (I was), and I came across this: “his favorite shout out from the WORD is ‘MARANATHA!’”. So true! haha) as our head coach. -And Coach Christie. Josh and I would always mock his odd throwing motion with the full extended follow through haha. -Mr. Christie taught us about Thomas Hooker. -I got the ball a lot this year. So did Josh. Micah was our QB. We dominated everyone. -On one of the rival teams, there was a kid that looked like a chicken. Like he literally could have chicken dna like infused with human dna. Idk if that makes sense, but that’s what he looked like. -We won the championship. I remember Mr. Mendez, who had been a coach last year, said to me and another teammate in our class (he was a math teacher) after we had won the championship, “Wasn’t it easier though this year with the competition?”. And yes, it was, he wasn’t wrong. The team that we had lost to the year before was a really good team, but their school now had changed their jr. high football program to tackle, so they weren’t around anymore. I feel like I’ve written enough for this post. I’ll have to talk about high school football in it’s own post another time. Thanks for reading.

There, he saw you, in front of a mirror having a breakdown.

He approached you and asked whats wrong.

“love?” he said softly, as he hugged you from behind and caressed your hair, “My love, whats wrong?” he asked you worriedly.

“aaron..” you trailed off as you continue to sob. He hugged you tightly and kissed your forehead , pulling away as he make you look at him, “what is it, angel? You can tell me.” he urged you.

“I’m pregnant.” you blurt out.

With the lack of reply, you panicked.

“I missed my period recently and I feel kinda shit lately so me juliette and nazeera bought an pregnancy test earlier and I tested all 7 of them and they are all positive, I don’t—”

As you were rambling, he quickly hugged you tightly and lifting you up to the ground as he span you around. You laugh softly at this gesture as he peppered kisses to your face and hair while he whispered sweet nothings.

“Its okay. We will be okay. Don’t worry. We got this, yeah? I love you. Thank you. Thank you, I love you so much, My love.”

at the first stage he got nervous about being a dad and have some self doubt but later got over it as he saw you patying your belly despite it still not visible.

Despite with the nickname, kenji teared up and always paraded the moment (to your husband dismay) he grows to adore the nickname when she keep calling him that

He sometimes forget that he played dress up with baby di so sometimes he go to work with tiara, ribbons, those princess accessories on him.

Sometimes they were to scared to point it out

Kenji, nazeera and juliette made fun of him not until they were a victim of the dress up

At one point, kenji kidnapped baby dior and was later banned from seeing her for 2 months (barely a month in dior throwed a tantrum wanting to see her uncle kenny)

Baby dior played with your make up when she misses you! She wanna look like you because she misses you so much
