Hello G/t community. I've had a terrible month so far and apologize for the delay in my stories. Before I post anything, I want to introduce everyone to the Norman-verse. (I'm workshopping the name.)
World building is my favorite part of creating stories. It brings life and detail into normal stories. This universe has been formulating in my head for years and I finally get to share it with others. I will be adding to this lore as time progresses.
In this universe the two main inhabitants are humans and Normen(the giants)
There will be a main world, but it's a universe with lots of worlds, and maybe some things could be different in different worlds.
The Normen and humans have a lot of aspects that make them unique from each other.
*Physical differences
*Cultural and religious differences
*Anatomical differences
*Environmental differences
*Social differences
*Psycological differences
Today I want to start with Physical differences. Also I would love for anyone to make suggestions on what they think some of it could be.
Physical differences & attributes
*Height: 50-70 feet average.
The average child is between 50-60 feet.
Adults can range anywhere from 60 to 75 feet tall.
*They have thick & dense skin
*They build muscle easier and have stronger builds.
*They have sharp teeth & fangs that helps them bite through anything with ease.
*They have large, pointy ears that are sensitive to hearing
* They have unique patterns over their skin. Patterns and shapes vary from Norman to Norman.
*Skin, eye and hair colors includes more colors
Let's talk about it
Skin colors: It's normal for Normen to have the same skin colors as humans but at least 20% of the Normen population get born with colors such as pink, purple, green and blue.
Eye colors: Any eye color is possible but the normal human colors brown, green and blue are rare in Normen.
Hair colors: Once again, any color is possible but the normal human colors especially blonde and ginger are rare in Normen.
* They have tails resembling those of lizards and this helps them stay balanced.
*They have retractable claws that helps them hunt larger animals.
In my next post, I'll be focusing on every vore fan's favorite part. The Anatomical Differences.
If you actually read all this, thanks. I don't really expect people to get into the world building yet when there aren't stories yet but I want people to be able to understand more things about this universe.

A Well Deserved Rest [safe/soft non-sexual GT vore with fearplay]
A Tale of the Mystic Woods!
(After so long, i have returned to my fairytale comedy world!!!)
Story Summary/hook/plot: A party of adventurers are tired from a hard day of adventuring and need a place to stay! Unfortunately for them that place is Yonah’s tower, and he loves to play with his food guests.
Starring: Yonah Ha’Esh, Sophia of Orr, Myran the Witch, and our group of adventurers!
Contains: Safe/soft non-sexual GT oral vore. Kick but action (well, i try), Fantasy violence and some gore/blood (think at worst, a smidge of Lord of the Rings level of gore/blood). Lots of swearing. Fearplay.
Word Count: 11,000 words (yeah. Im sorry. I cant write short stories)
---
A snap of jaws and a disappointed hiss. They dodged the venomous fangs of the viper head of the dwarf hydra. What a stupid name for something with heads the size of horses! The head reared back to join three of its fellows, a tree boa head, a cobra head, and rock python head. Four of the six heads. While half were venomous, all were dangerous, and Avshi had barely avoided that last strike. They were slowing down, the fight had to end and end soon.
To deter another from the same head Avshi shouted a quick spell and swung their staff to release it. It hit! The pained cries were their reward as magically manifested insects attacked the eyes and exploded into bursts of flame. Having used this spell just last week, they didnt have time to refill it with fireflies, so it mostly distracted the heads with a lightshow than doing any decent damage. That was fine with Avshi, it gave them the opportunity to run behind a boulder.
“Are you ready with that sleep spell yet?”
Tori didnt look up as they furiously re-strung their Oud “Im working on it! I didnt expect the damn thing to grab my oud and smash it! Be fucking thankful only the strings snapped.” Their long ears flicked in irritation.
And pain. Blood trickled from a wound on his shoulder and he winced as he had to tense a muscle to tighten a string. They’d offer to help but Avshi wasnt musically inclined.
“AVSHI, WE COULD USE SOME WIZARDY SHIT OVER HERE!” came a shout from Hilary who was doing surprisingly well! Ok not that surprising, she was very good at what she did. It was only surprising she was still doing so well.
The elf jumped not the back of a non-venomous head and used the thicker scaled spines to hang climb to the base of the skull. With the hydra in a rage the head reared back, telegraphing its strike yet Hilary didn’t move. Not until it was too late. Too late for the other head to get out of the way and the cobra sank its long fangs into its sister.
In theory a hydra should be immune to its own venom, but the envenomed head shrieked and the entire creature reered back in agony.
Had she done it? Defeated it all on her own?
No, that would have been too easy. Still, the head that had gotten envenomed slumped and even as the rest of the creature continued to fight, it shuddered as if it was ignoring an acute pain.
Oren was occupying three heads all on her own, the half fairy had her wings spread. The forest around was too close for her to fly, but the feathers dazzled the eyes and kept the attention on her even as she had one of the heads bleeding from the eyes and one from the mouth. But where was Niran?
They scanned the sky and spotted them, diving. There was one head left unoccupied, the one Avshi had just harassed. But it was regaining its bearings and looked up. Of course it looked up. So Avshi leapt and cartwheeled, spitting sparks from their limbs. The cries of “you idiot!” from Tori were ignored, or rather, Avshi’s momentum wasnt easily stopped. Hopefully it was worth the risk.
The head snapped towards them, shit! They had timed it wrong. The jaws opened as they were tall! They thrust forward their staff, or so they thought, it was really just their arm. The bite force of the hydra would be no match for them. They would crumple between the fangs.
Only, that did not happen. The top of the jaw indeed rested upon their arm. It was still heavy, but there was no force. They peeked around and saw the neck lying on the ground, dark oily blood pooling around a gash.
“Gottit!” Screeched Niran, who had a blade in her talons covered in the same blood, as she hovered a meter away flapping her wings with excitement. Then cried in pain and shock as one of the three TAILS whipped her and she slammed into a tree, going limp.
Avshi was no healer, but Oren was. Only Oren was still occupied by the three remaining heads. But even as they joined Oren, it wasn't enough to let Oren get a break. And as they fought together, they were slowly losing. Avshi couldnt unleash any big magic without too much risk, and most needed more time than they got between breaths to cast. Simple spells only! Oren was slowing down too, magic at the limit, strength failing. Where was Hilary? Fuck, she had been pinned under a massive clawed foot, putting all her effort into being able to breath.
Then music reached their ears, to be heard through the pounding of their blood.
“Tumbala Tumbala Tumbala-laika”
The familiar, soothing melody flowed around them. Making their limbs become heavy.
The world went black.
The world was stars and colors! And their face stung. They sat up to find Tori slapping them in the face. They caught the next slap by the wrist “What about Chai?!” For their fighter… If the spell knocked them all out. For how long?
Tori jerked their wrist back and pointed. Oren had gotten out their sword, not their preferred weapon but much better to slice with than a morning star. Though the hide of the very dead hydra was proving very tough.
“Why is it” Chai grumbled, climbing out of the hole Oren had cut open in the monsters belly, “That when we fight giant monsters, I always end up EATEN?!” she was covered in blood and stomach fluids and did not even bother to try and wipe any of it off as it was deep in every nook and cranny of her armor.
“Not… always” Oren tried to say but Chai glared up at them. It was impressive to see the 4ft dwarf make the near seven foot half-fairy cower from just a glare.
“Let me re-phrase” Chai swung her sword at the hydra corpse “Why is it, when a monster eats one of us, it’s almost always ME.”
None of them could dispute that, now that Chai brought it up.
“We always rescue you!”
“And we always will!”
“That’s not the point!” Chai cried, “it’s always me and never one of you! And it’s always at the start of a fight! And then I dont get to fight! And that’s not fair!” she swung at the hydra again “Its not fair! it's not fair! It’s not fair!”
They let her rage a bit, partly because none of them wanted to poke that bear and partly because now that she said it, now that they thought back, she was absolutely right. Until she started to really carve into the hydra, going for the heads, and Hilary had to intervene.
“Hey hey hey! We took a job to kill a hydra AND harvest it, we need the venom!”
Chai stuck her sword in the ground “Fine, so I will do the harvesting, since i didn’t get to do any fighting.”
What would have taken them maybe an hour working together took 3 with Chai insisting on doing the harvest all on her own, saying the blood and carnage was due to her. Hilary hovered around her, risking getting stabbed with venom coated tools to ensure that everything was collected properly.
Hilary started to hold onto her foot long ears in worry, breaking the illusion that she and Chai were the same height.
When Chai would start to get particularly irritated Hilary reminded her how badly they needed this money, and that her kind of elves were raised in the tradition of hunting beasts so Hilary knows what she’s talking about so please dont slice her ears off.
The long harvest did provide Oren with time to at least start to treat Niran. They set the harpy’s limbs before giving them a healing potion. Pricey, and it does not perform any miracles. But the chance that Niran had no internal bleeding was incredibly slim and such potions stopped all bleeding. Very helpful to keep a grievously injured person alive long enough to get the help they needed. But niran needed more than what Oren could handle, especially without being in healing house with supplies and more hands.
More experienced hands, which were clearly needed.
“I believe I heard of a witch-” Tori began.
Chai stopped them “A witch! You want to take chances on a witch?”
Tori took a breath “I have heard tell of a witch who is *kind* and helps strangers who ask politely, and whose hut was recently seen nearby.”
“How do you know?” Chai accused. “And how recently! You’ve been with us this whole time!”
In response Tori wiggled their long ears, “I have sources! I…” their ears folded back “i hear the elves in the trees while they em gossip and em… decide whether or not to prank us”
Everyone but Hilary and Niran (because the latter was unconscious) looked at them in horrified annoyance. “And when were you planning on telling us this?”
“About the witches hut? It wasn't important, it was a piece of gossip until now”
“No about the imminent pranks that could be pulled on us from the shadows!”
“Oh, well, they’ve always decided against it. And why would I?”
“Why- Because people could get hurt! At least if they decided to attack we would expect it and not react so strongly!”
“But- ” Tori looked distressed and Hilary came to their rescue.
“You all are too familiar with city and country elves that you haven't bothered to learn about forest elves. Different traditions.”
Now the stares were on her. “I also heard the voices, probably better than Tori. OW” she cried as she was struck by something. A small pinecone!
“Which of you threw this!?”
None of them confessed, but Oren muttered under his breath “maybe you deserved it, for keeping shit from us”
That started them all shouting.
Tori’s ears twitched again “Hey everyone stop! I dont think any of us threw it, I think we’ve finally been pranked.”
The moment they said it, laughed erupted from all around in the trees and they all stopped arguing, though tempers did not calm, only redirected. And then honed on the elf that climbed down a tree. A contrast to Hilary’s plum purple skin theirs was a deep green, with bright green ripples. Their hair was straw yellow as well, Hilary’s was red.
“Not the most cohesive group of adventurers, if just one pinecone can set you at each other’s throats!” they laughed.
“Listen dod*” Hilary held her hands palms up, not acknowledging that her friend’s anger had finally disappeared, the astonishment causing it to be forgotten completely. (*Dod means uncle it is not a name)
“We have been tracking this hydra for days, and the fight was hard, we are tired and on edge. Perhaps we can come back to the village to rest and-”
“Not a chance! Your mother and isha’li* are still not on speaking terms and we dont want to add any fuel to that fire.” (*isha’li = my wife)
Hilary clenched her fists, “Fine, can you at least show us to the witch’s hut?”
“Which witch?” her dod smiled.
“The kindly one that we heard gossip, supposedly nearby!” she explained “sorry but their name was not mentioned.”
“Must have been another village’s hunting party, but we do know the witch you speak of.”
And they gave them directions, obtuse ones of course but when in the Mystical Woodlands, obtuse was often the best that one could hope for. Chai, wanting to be helpful, led the way and carried Niran on their back looking like a coat made of feathers. They only got lost once, and only a little bit, before the witch hut came into view. It was more of a mound with hut-like qualities. And surrounding it were wagons! And destroying much of what must be the witch’s garden were the beasts of burden that pulled them. Many muffled voices could be heard as they approached the door. Chai knocked.
The voices did not pause, but after a time the door opened. It unleashed a torrent of noise, happy chatter and singing, and revealed ruddy face of a dwarf who squinted at Chai.
“I dont recognize you… are you trying to crash the party. That is a rather dirty looking shawl, even if feathered shawls were still in fashion it’s a bit uncouth to let one get so decrepid”
“What!?” Chai asked, quite confused.
“The family reunion!” the dwarf said angrily as if this would clarify.
“My name is Chai bat L’SodGivah” then remembering that this witch was rumored to respond well to politeness quickly smiled “my friend is injured and we would be grateful for assistance”
The dwarf blinked “but, I am Pitri Ben L’MassaTzila, a mushroom farmer what-” then he finally noticed the crowd behind Chai and the harpy on her shoulders. “you are here for Myran!” he turned his head almost all the way around to shout.
“MYRAN! YOU HAVE CUSTOMERS!”
“WHAT! DID THEY NOT SEE THE SIGN?” came another voice through all the others which did not quiet down. The dwarf looked sternly at them.
Chai tried as politely as she could to show the dwarf there was no sign.
“YOU FORGOT TO PUT OUT THE SIGN!”
“FUCK I’ll be right there!”
“They’ll be right over”
It took longer than expected for a voice that sounded fairly close by the door for a second dwarf to appear. Clearly related to the first, unlike Chai who had little resemblance aside from being a dwarf. These two had the same ears and same noses, the same eyes, and similar hands. They had rather different expressions of beard fashion however. The first had his beard cut fairly short and with small braids, barely long enough to make the pattern that formed a meaning “all the world is my teacher”. Very profound for someone so plastered. The second dwarf had a much longer beard and with absolutely no order to the decorations, or any cohesion except for possibly a theme: random shit I found on the ground. Buttons made up the majority of the objects braided in, along with trinkets and toys, intact and broken jewelry, and even some animal bones.
“I cannot believe I forgot the sign” they sighed and waved their hand. On the other side of the open door a sign appeared
CLOSED FOR PRIVATE EVENT
DO NOT DISTURB
TRESPASSERS WILL BE CURSED
“Oh don’t look like that I’m not going to curse any of you, the sign wasn’t up yet” they said and bowed with a fist to their chest “Myran Bnei L’MassaTzila. The witch”
They were let in and had to wade through a crowd of dwarves following the witch who had smartly put their pointy hat on so they wouldnt lose them and followed them to the kitchen.
“How long has this party been going on?” Chai asked, having been mistaken by several drunk guests for a niece or daughter or wife and even mother. “I’m not that old!” she had exclaimed, as the person who asked was at least her own age, if not older.
“We do so aplogize for having you work, you could point us to another witch if-” Oren started to say but Myran waved him off.
“Oh don’t bother I needed a break from my great grandmother. Again nagging me to get married, as if she doesn’t know I’ve had a boyfriend for over a year. And just because he’s not a dwarf.”
“IT'S BECAUSE HE’S A CONVICTED CRIMINAL!” came the voice of the aforementioned great grandmother.
Myran shook their head.
It was all a little more information than any of them wanted, and now they were standing in the witch’s kitchen awkwardly as the witch rummaged around cabinets and drawers. Asking them what had happened and becoming more precise until they had handed off half a dozen herbs and jars. Then they stomped their food on the floor.
The ground didnt shift beneath their feet but the kitchen disappeared and in its place was clearly a witch’s workshop. Muffled party sounds came from… actually the direction wasnt clear. Myran had Chai put Niran on a hard pallet that was clearly meant for patients of a particular shape and size (humanoid). And they all let the witch do what witches do.
After a few minutes the witch announced “Your friend sustained much less damage than it initially looked. Cheaper healing draughts will do fine, as well as plenty of rest.” they went over to the table full of the supplies they had brought from the kitchen and started to mix a few. “I will also replace the bandaging. It was well done but should simply be replaced for cleanliness sake I will use that opportunity to apply the healing draught as a salve directly.”
Oren asked if he could watch, as he had some medicinal knowledge but wished for a bit of on the spot training. Myran agreed “It would be very difficult to make things worse”. Oren wasnt sure if he should be insulted but Myran was the host and he was the guest, he had to be polite or he might end up a frog.
Or a mouse. He thought as a cat almost as large as the witch lumbered into the room mrowing for attention.
“No the party is not over it is only day 3.”
The cat mrowed again in what was clearly a questioning voice.
“Eight days! You know this, i told you. I am just helping some folks.”
The cat flicked his huge fluffy tail and immediately locked eyes with Chai who had stepped back. And trotted over to her.
“Wait, no, I’m-” and she sneezed “Allergic…” it was mild but it was annoying. The witch did not call off her cat which proceeded to rub against Chai with evident affection, seemingly unbothered by the occasional sneeze.
Hilary counted 20 sneezes, not really keeping proper time, before Niran stirred and everyone rushed over. Except Chai who tripped over a cat.
The harpy was breathing much easier, and the clean bandages made a huge difference. Myran had even cleaned up Niran herself, getting the detritus and blood from her feathers. Even has her chest rose and fell with ease, her voice was a little shaky. If she were not covered in feathers, it would be clear her chest was very bruised.
“Where are we? Did we kill the hydra?”
“You killed a hydra!” Myran whistled “and you all survived! Im impressed! Do you have some extra venom? Think of it as payment for my helping when im supposed to be on vacation.”
It was explained to Niran what happened and Niran took some medicinal tea and fell asleep. That prompted most of them to think about sleep. And one of them to voice the question that the rest did not out of politeness.
“Um, if you dont mind, is there a place we can stay for the night?”
Myran sighed a very heavy sigh “Normally I would offer a room or even two, but even with many of my relatives sleeping in their carts, Ive got people sleeping on the floor.”
Where could they possibly go that was safe? The elves, or at least the one village, had refused. Staying outside was out of the question. They needed proper shelter. They all looked to each other but no one’s face gave any hope. Except.
“Avshi, do you have an idea?” asked Oren.
“Well…” They said, “There is a chance that my friend Yonah is nearby.”
It was always a chance in the Mystical Woodlands. Even if The Woods seemed to know exactly what someone inside it needed, it doesnt mean it would lead the someone to it. It could decide to be precocious and play keepaway. His friend’s tower could be within walking distance!
“Oh, I believe it is!” Myran said.
That lead to a brief conversation as Avshi and Myran discussed how they knew Yonah. As residents of The Woods, Myran and Yonah had run into each other, but there seemed to be more to it than that. Myran spoke with a high degree of familiarity, and was able to infer that Avshi’s years at the wizard academy had overlapped with Yonah’s.
“Unless the tower has moved since last night. If you can imagine, I ran out of… emm, a few things. I do owe him, canyou make a delivery for me? Consider it payment for my helping out”
“I thought you wanted some hydra venom?”
“This is more important. Just give me a minute to gather the items.”
Logically the members of the adventuring party had assumed Myran had requested consumables from this Yonah. Booze, snacks, maybe a blanket for someone to sleep on. But as they gathered more and more items, increasing in rarity and value, this logic fell apart. All of them were too polite and too unfamiliar with the witch to inquire.
Suffice to say, it took longer than a minute, and then a minute longer for the witch to write a letter and tucked it into the basket of items.
“If it is in the exact same spot as it was earlier…” they gave directions which were mercifully simple, relatively speaking.
They all thanked the witch profusely as they were ushered out. Once again Chai was accosted by several drunk guests who believed her related to them or someone else at the party. At least a few were sober enough to be embarrassed when corrected, that she was the one dwarf at the party who had no relation to anyone else here.
Finally they made it out, the sun was just starting to set. If they were lucky they could make it to Yonah’s before it got dark.
They were lucky! And were even luckier to not run into any difficulties on the way. And it was very obvious when they arrived at their destination.
It looked a little witchy to be a wizard’s abode. A huge orchard and sprawling garden surrounded the more classic looking tower. Many of them were hungry and had to be reminded not to take any fruit. Hilary pointed out that the corner section near the boundary to the forest would be free for those in need to take from. Avshi pointed out that they were not in need, his friend should be able to provide food. It would be more than a little uncouth to show up while eating apples from their host’s orchard.
“So, how the fuck do we get in?”
They were at the base of the tower, but there were no doors and the only window was 50ft up. Avshi looked a little guilty.
“You eh… climb”
The rest of them groaned. Of course. And of course there were thorny vines that crawled up the tower, which provided the means of ascending. This would be fine normally, but one of them was currently incapacitated. The irony of it being the only member of the team who could have flown up was not lost on anyone.
“I think i have enough strength to climb” she said
“You can’t even walk!” Chai pointed out, “Or have i been lugging around your feathered ass for no reason!”
“I have talons, climbing is easier than walking” she insisted. Chai’s disgruntled attitude towards Niran faded as she watched the harpy still struggle to climb, and she insisted she be underneath in case of an accident. And it was painfully slow. Until Oren slipped and was impaled by what was surely a poisonous thorn.
Or rather. Wasnt. The thorns being revealed as illusions, of a sort. One could grasp the long thin shafts, but if you tried to get cut by one, or accidentally scraped up against one, it didnt exist.
“Is this some sort of magical plant? Or is it not a plant and just a complex illusion?” Tori asked. They were asking Avshi, even if they couldnt look at them to indicate this.
“Knowing Yonah, it’s probably both.”
“Woah!!! Does every wizard’s workshop look like this?” Hilary climbed up to the window ledge and out of sight. Tori was next and then Avshi, who gathered enough breath to say.
“No… this is what you get when you’re employed by the Mystical King.”
The workshop had everything a wizard could possibly want, and then some. Multiple desks with drawers of all shapes and sizes. Tools and materials littered the desks. There was a bench that was clearly dedicated to alchemy. There was a fireplace just for making potions and another for more general preparation of materials. Every bit of wall was covered by shelving and cabinets, and the shelves were full of bottles and jars and books and things that even Avshi couldnt identify. There were even things hanging from the ceiling! Baskets and cages and devices!
“I see he’s gathered more junk” Avshi tried to sound less impressed and less jealous than they really were. Was that ether loom? What was Yonah doing measuring fae realm activity?
“Oh, cool, so this is AHHHH” Oren had joined them at the window sill and walked forward. Falling to the workshop floor a few meters below.
They were so distracted by their friends impressive workshop they had forgotten to tell them that Yonah wa-
“THIS PLACE IS HUGE, Avshi is your friend… is he not human? I thought only humans could be wizards?
Seeing them down there and yet the workshop still looked midiscale from where the rest of them sat made their brain hurt.
“Ugh, yeah em, so-”
Niran climbed up and squawked excitedly “Wow! THis place is amazing!” then she looked down and concerned. “What are- oh, my head.”
And they fell down, thankfully landing on Oren.
“Yeah so Yonah is-”
“Holy fuck, this place is a mess! Are all wizards like- FUCK”
Avshi sighed and Tori and Hilarly laughed as Chai too climbed in and fell onto the floor.
“What the fuck is going on here! Is this some wizard trickery or-” Chai demanded as she got off or Oren who had just been relieved of Niran.
“As I was saying, Yonah is half-giant.”
“Bullshit! Only humans can attend the wizard academy” she spat as if she was personally victimized by this (admittedly specisist) restriction.
“Well, half-humans are often allowed but-”
“As if they’d let a half giant? I cant see that happening” she said.
“No… ehhh, they didnt really know…”
As they talked the ones who didnt fall down to the floor carefully made there way down. Avshi showed them to the corner of the windowsill. Once Avshi pointed  it out, the ladder was visible to everyone else.
“I wouldnt do that if I were you!” Avshi warned as Hilary started to wander off towards a very interesting and mobile device that sat on its own pedestal off to the side with obvious intent to climb. “We aren't here to adventure, we are here to rest.”
“You aren’t?”  said a new, distressed voice from above. “A whole team of adventurers and not a one is here to rescue me. Just my luck”
Somehow the voice managed to be distraught and downtrodden and sassy. Its source was sitting in one of the hanging cages. The group scrambled up to a better vantage point on a workbench to see what had to be a princess.
“He has a captive princess?” Oren sounded a bit put-off
Avshi sighed, they really should know before they-
“We really arent in any shape to rescue-” Oren continued
“I’ll save you princess!” With a running start, Hilary leap up and out, right onto the cage. Causing it to swing. Hilary might just be 3ft tall but her leap and impact on the cage had plenty of force. The princess screamed.
CREEEEEEEEEEEEK
Or they could make fools of themselves. That could be entertaining.
As if on cue low thuds could be heard, and then felt, in the pattern of footsteps. And as they got closer, the shadows in the room grew longer, the lights flickered. The creaking of the cage’s chain quieted but Hilary did not jump off. No one moved much at all.
“Are… should we go?” Tori asked.
“Go where!?” Chai snapped.
But there was no more time to discuss. The trap door in the room flew open and the owner of the tower emerged.
FEE FI FO FUM
The immense figure rose over their heads and the trap door closed with a slam. Half giant maybe, but still plenty large, with arms as thick as tree trunks, and fire behind the spectacled eyes. And yes, in wizard robes. Flashy, brightly patterned, with a matching hat. Smoke rose from under that hat, coming out of the explosion of black curls. He looked around before locking his eyes on the grouped up adventurers.
---
Sophia screamed! It sounded like fear but it was delight. The powerful and rare magical items Yonah had set out were far inferior bait to herself!  Yonah would get all the credit if she didnt get to play her part. But she had! So she shrieked with all her might.
---
Yonah did not know if Myran had called ahead so he could prepare to host visitors or prepare to fight adventurers. So he had prepared for both! He would know which it was when the time came. Still preparations had been made.
First, he set up sophia in a cage and hung it by the oldest, rustiest chain. It wouldnt break, but it would be very obvious if someone tried to rescue her. If they noticed her at all. He set out Some very tantalizing treasures. Which would either fall or cause something else to make noise, if moved.
And he had prepared food! He didnt prepare any extra food, not really, just more variety than he had planned for just him and Sophia. He also got out nice beds, made sure the bathing pool out back was clean and had fresh water. Tidied up the sitting room. It was last minute so he wasn’t going all out, but it was a good excuse to clean up a bit.
When he heard the chain creak and sophia scream, he sighed. He had hoped guests, but he supposed adventurers were just as fun.
First thing first, he got out his staff and pulled at the enchantments he’d set in his workshop. Nothing crazy, just to set the mood, before he stomped up the stairs. He had done enough wizarding today, so it was time to be a monster. It required a lot less brain power to be a monster.
It required very little thought to stomp up the stairs. It took very little thought to take a deep breath and lower his voice and bellow as he lifted the trapdoor to his workshop.
FEE FI FO FUM.
He took another deep breath
I SMELL THE BLOOD OF
Wait SHIT there wasnt just one of them and he KNEW that. He’s been TOLD that! How could he have been about to say the wrong rhyme! Wow, and he called himself a first-rate villain.
Time to switch tactics. Maybe a little bit more thought. He looked around but focused on the cage and the desk where it seemed all the adventurers had foolishly stayed.
“Well well well, what do we have here” he smiled down at them. “Some foolish adventurers here to steal MY princess”
Oh watching the reactions of smallfolk was always so amusing. They pushed the one familiar face to the front. The one in robes as bright as his own, which made a really brilliant contrast to their dark skin. His friend smiled up at him.
“Ehhhh, Hi Yonah, actually! No! I brought-”
“Ah! Avshalom” Yonah chuckled, putting a hand on his desk, leaning casually yet maintaining his threatening aura. “I see you’ve brought me dinner.”
That got the exact reaction he desired: alarmed confusion. Well not exact, they also frozen in place. Pathetic! These folks were professional adventurers and a simple declaration by a giant that he was going to eat them had them petrified. Time to teach them a lesson. He just had to choose his victim.
“Stay- stay back!” yelled the dwarf who drew her weapon pointing it at him. At least someone had some brains.
“You’re the one in my house!” he snarled and moved the hand on the desk to quickly snatch her up, getting the arm holding the blade in between fingers as he squoze.
“Thank you for volunteering to be the first course!”
She spat at him. Good aim too, if not for his glasses it would have got him in the eye.
“Oh so rude, fine, be that way” and he stuffed her into his mouth, taking care to remove any other weapons she might have on her. Wow she tasted AMAZING! Better than any dwarf he had tasted before, which would never admit to Myran. As he swallowed he swore he heard her scream “WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME?!” and though he couldn't chuckle, he believed he had solved that little mystery.
The rest of the adventurers on the desk stood there in shock, even Avshi’s eyes had widened. They were still all there once he had finished swallowing. So he growled at them, or tried his best  as he caught his breath, “Are you going to just stand there and feed yourselves to me?”
That’s when a small weight impacted the back of his neck followed up by a sharp pain. The elf! That’s who was missing from the group and she was perfectly positioned to leap from the hanging cage. And dammit she was not easy to shake off, having burrowed into his hair after the assault on his neck. Reaching under his ponytail he felt the warm blood but the wound was not deep and hopefully not-
Fuck. His vision swam from the exquisite pain. Poison. What had Myran said? Fought a hydra? He couldnt even begin to guess which head’s poison this was so a basic poison neutralizer would have to do and if more was needed at least he would be conscious long enough to get such aid.
In his scramble to find the vial of poison neutralizer the adventurers had finally gotten their wits together and scattered, and he could still feel the elf on his head. Trying to stab his head actually. More of his blood ran down his cheek. It hurt a lot but the small blade couldnt even reach his skull. Still, it wasn’t ideal and he gave himself a few seconds to extract the little shit from his now tangled and bloody curls.
He got ahold of the elf and held her by the ears in front of his face, licking his lips. “Elves always taste so sweet! OW!”
He dropped her but he felt her get purchase on his clothing. Not that he cared, he looked in the direction the arrow in his hand had come from! One capable of flight had made it back to the window sill. The arrow had not gone deep at all and he could see as he approached the Harpy struggling to notch another arrow, all her strength spent on the flight and single attack.
Right… an injured harpy Myran had said. Probably shouldn't eat her… that would be too cruel. But he was not above scaring her.
“I’ll save you for later” he said, picking her up and trying, without making it obvious, not to hurt her. This wasnt entirely successful. And the others werent making it easy, something tried to trip him and something else flew by his releasing some sort of powder. Thanks to Sophia’s propensity for activating her curse in front of his face (which creates large amount of purple dust), he avoided breathing any in, though it did sting his eyes.
He opened the hanging cage and placed the harpy inside. “I think i’ll rpluck you clean, then roast you, like a chicken.” Sophia climbed out and onto his shoulder laughing uproariously.
“Dont worry Yonah, ive been keeping my eyes on them! There is a druidic half fairy and it would be very tasty.”
Good a mission. A fairy eh… he closed his eyes and sniffed. Yes. he smelled it.
When he opened his eyes he was looking at a cabinet. Closed. He opened ione door. Nothing.
Opened another. Nothing.
Wait! Some of his jars moved.
There!
“ON YOUR LEFT!” sophia shouted.
So confusing as she was sitting on his right shoulder. That’s where he looked first.
The half elf, it was on his alchemy bench! It had out a flute and music filled the air.
Logically he knew there couldnt be twenty of the same half elf when before there was just one, but the tune. The music said ‘no, there are twenty! Its a feast, you should gobble up every last one’
Try as he might, he couldn't get his hands on any of the tasty little buggers.
A new tune filled his brain. It entered his right ear and chased the offending tune out the left. His vision cleared.
“HEY! THAT’S NOT FAIR!” Yelled the half elf above Sophia’s singing, “Having your princess-” they were silenced when Yonah finally snagged his target.
This time when his hand got shot, he did not release it, he embraced the pain and brought the little bard to his mouth.
---
“Fancy meeting you here”
Chai didnt have to see to know Tori had a guilty shit eating grin on their face.
“Oh we are so fucked” she said. “This is how we die! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!”
Tori had conjured up a little light and it was SO MUCH WORSE. Never, in all the times she’d been eaten, had she been made to SEE the fleshy death prison. The pulsing pink walls, the disgusting fluids. To make matters worse, there was Tori.
“FUCK”
She grinned as she removed her foot from that formerly smug face.
---
It was hard to focus now with two idiots fighting inside his guts but he had to! These adventurers may be tired and unprepared for fight, but if he let his guard down they could seriously hurt him. Probably not kill him in battle, but there was a decent chance of taking him down and surely they would want to cut out their friends. That would kill him. If they didnt kill him before performing such an extraction.
No. No. Sophia wouldnt let that happen. Avshi woudlnt let that happen! However he really didnt want to end up in the possible future where his friends would be negotiating for his life. He would end the fight soon… he just wanted one more morsel. That half-fairy. He really wanted that half fairy.
That half-fairy flew by his face AGAIN, this time casting some sort of spell. Yonah closed his eyes and held his breath again.
The half-fairy swore as even from his closed eyelids he could see the flash of light.
He opened his eyes and turned around to chase after them.
What followed was a veritable game of cat and mouse. Or cat and bird. Yonah suspected he was being led on, he just had to figure out to what end!
Avshi was still on the workbench, not helping him, not helping the other adventurers. They looked conflicted, eyes wide, gripping their staff and pointing it at Yonah occasionally, but pointing it at Oren too.
“DONT JUST STAND THERE!” Screeched the harpy. It was so shrill it was like a saw on Yonah’s brain. “Why aren’t you DOING SHIT!?”
Avshi didnt have an answer. They must have assumed Yonah was just playing, they were right but Yonah was really selling it, and now he wanted to sell this betrayal.
“Because they are my friend! And they always bring me the most entertaining dinners”
Yonah wished he could see the expressions of the two he’d eaten as they kicked up a new storm of protests. The harpy shrieked again “Avshi is a hero! They would never!”
“Wouldn’t they? I’ve already eaten two of you and. Oh!”
He finally spotted the fairy again. By the window. A strategically smart choice, they had in practicality infinite space behind them should they need to flee. But they wouldnt flee, they woudlnt leave their friends.
He stepped forward.
And a knee gave!
Then CRACK, both knees hit the floor, the pain exploding though his nerves and he roared. He struggled to his feet, leaning on the knee that hurt slightly less, and saw the elf run out from under his robes. Anger flared and he snatched her up.
“Another for the dessert cage” He laughed through the pain. Then swung around with the cage in front of his face.
The half-fairy slammed into it, the magical spear they had summoned dissipating into golden sparkles. They screamed as they tried to fly away, only to tear at a wing that got caught in the rusty metal. Yonah turned the cage around to grin at them.
“You can eat me just let the others go!” they begged.
Yonah smiled wider as he peeled the fairy off the cage. “I already ate them, and I was going to eat you regardless!”
Ugh the half fairy’s wings! Tricky to eat without harming them! So he didn’t try too hard to avoid that. They’d be bruised but nothing broke. But it was worth it. The fairy was big and would be so filling. And most important, tasted amazing. There is no way to describe it other than magically delicious.
All the while the two in the cage screamed. At him. At avshi. And we’re sobbing as the last swallow sent their friend to his stomach which was now obviously full and twitched with its lively occupants. The fight was over. He sat at his desk, sighing from the relief in his knees and his fullness.
“A glorious meal!” He declared as he poked at a thoroughly embarrassed Avshi. “I must thank you for finding such tasty victims!”
Sophia climbed down to Noogie them, “good job.”
“Please, don’t.” Avshi muttered.
---
Being eaten was bad. Being defeated? That was worse, it meant that they were going to DIE.
“This is your fault!” Chai elbowed Tori.
“My fault! You’re just looking for someone to blame!”
“Its Avshi’s fault.” Oren growled, trying again to claw at the walls but only ending up with handfuls of mucous. “We will get out of here! We just have to think.”
“Thinking isnt escaping! You’re out of magic, neither of us have weapons and the princess can out sing our bard! Fuck fuck fuck. Move the fuck over!”
The stomach was getting more active and the sharp burning pain all over her skin was getting worse. Shoving her feet at the opposite wall she grabbed Tori and swapped places. Tori screeched with pain as their face went under briefly, their exposed skin covered in fresh acidic fluids.
Oren was doing his best to use his wings as a shield, but his back stung and the feathers were soaked and heavy and aching. Fluids may accumulate at the bottom of the chamber but they secreted from every inch of flesh.
---
“Damn,” Yonah tried to move his knees and one did with a great deal of pain, another refused. He looked at the cage, at the Elf who glared back down at him. His eyes had actual fire, but her’s were hotter.
“What did you do?”
“You think i’m going to-”
“Was it more poison?”
The scrunched expression confirmed his guess. “And yet I can’t even move the other!”
Avshi hopped own onto it and yonah roared again. “FUCK.” Avshi didnt say anything but poked and prodded at it. “Oh yeah, this is broken, just a tick tho- YIPE” They squeaked as Yonah grabbed them and placed them back on the desk.
Then reached across the desk to a set of drawers and pulled out one of his precious vials of healing potion and popped the cork.
“Fuck” he hissed, “Can’t take this until i let them out.”
“YOU’RE WHAT!?” Screeched the harpy and yonah sighed “Avshi, you explain.”
--
What had the monster just said?
“LET US THE FUCK OUT YOU MOTHERFUCKER!” Chai screamed.
That earned another jab from the outside
“So impatient!”
“GAHHHHH” she had no words but with renewed vigor did her best to give the giant an aching belly. Tori and Oren helping her. They all knew from the contented humming that it wasnt working but it made them feel better.
---
For all Avshi had insisted they knew yonah was going to let their friends go, they still looked visibly relieved as yonah finally said it. Even as yonah chuckled as said friends became irate at this. Hilary and Niran, still in the cage didnt believe it at all, calling him a liar. Those in his stomach, though it was harder to understand the words, were either pissed about being made to think they were going to die or also didnt believe it and wouldnt until they were let go. Understandable.
It would help if Yonah did indeed spit them up but the giant wizard wasnt interested in doing so immediately as he put his hands on his knees and stood up. Hold that. Nope. that hurt too much. He used his staff to get to his feet and make his way over to the cage to unlock it and held out his hand. The two women backed away and he sighed.
Then he screamed as his hand was assaulted! He withdrew it with both of them attached. With his other hand he removed the harpy before he flicked his wrist. He flicked his wrist in an upward direction and the elf lost her grip to be launched into the air. And was quickly snatched in the same hand as she began her descent. Instead of placing them on the workbench he let them go onto the top of the cage. Less confined but not a place to easily run away.
“I’m not going to eat you.”
No surprise that didn’t win them over. New tactic.
“I’m not going to hurt or kill you.”
This was minimally more believable and then he added, looking directly at Niran, “I was told you were injured, I’m not going to do anything to harm you more. Also you have too many feathers.”
Niran ruffled said feathers but did not move, “you said you were going to pluck me! And roast me alive!”
“I did say that, but I’m not. I dont cook… people… I am not an ogre or a troll.” He extended his arm up to the cage again.
“What about me!” Hilary demanded.
That was a trickier answer.
“Perhaps I will, indulge a little later” he licked his lips “but would let you go.”
Hilary was still untrusting, but she could believe he wanted to still eat her, and Niran had by now decided to scramble onto the giant’s arm. Hilary was pleased to see Niran was not being careful of how her talons gripped into the giant’s flesh. The trickle of blood down the arm didnt result in any retaliation from the giant so perhaps he was telling the truth. And Hilary climbed into the open palm. She failed to stay standing as he drew back his hand and walked over to the bench. He was about to set them down but Avshi smacked him with a bit of magic.
“Yonah! Stop fucking stalling and release my friends. NOW.”
So instead Yonah snatched Avshi up rather roughly. Sophia leaped onto the arm and hung on, climbing up to his shoulder. Since he needed at least one hand for this he pushed Avshi into a pocket and with great effort went to the window.
“Fuck, i can’t get out of my damn tower! I’ll need. Ugh i hate wasting these!”
He reached into a sleeve and tossed down a small piece of quartz.
CRACK! He was outside! On the ground! But also down one port crystal.
“Yonah…” Avshi got out their staff again as yelps came from his middle.
“Just a moment” Yonah winced, as he set his eyes on his destination.
---
“What the FUCK! What is going on!” Demanded Chai. Something magical had happened, and she had no idea what.
“Why dont you go outside and find out?” Tori snorted.
The chamber then squished considerably, and a moment later, lurched violently.
---
Judging by the size of the wriggling mass that made its way up his throat, it was the half-fairy. Effort was almost so great that he couldnt enjoy the burst of flavor from said half-fairy as it reached his mouth. Almost.
They came out cursing. Good. That meant they were perfectly fine! He reached into his mouth and felt clawed hands grasp his fingers. He pulled out the most disheveled looking half-fairy in the realm before SPLOOSH, dropping them into the bathing pool.
Next was the…
---
“I am NOT going last!” Chai dragged Tori back into the chamber as it convulsed again, “ I got here first so I should be next!”
“It doesn’t matter!” Tori insisted but Chai was stronger than them and at the next lurch got herself into position to be squeezed up and out.
---
Finally the half-elf exited his throat and lay on his tongue. But did not spit them out. He was not done getting his taste. He was not done being a bastard. He reached into the river to get a handful of cool water into his mouth, swishing it around to clean off the sour fluids from his treat.
His audience watched with horror, but did not make any direct comments on his actions.
With the little morsel now a little more clean he could taste them proper again. And he rolled his tongue around a few moments as he watched the rest of the smalls.
All the adventurers except for Avshi were washing up in the pool, there was a pile of clothes by the river where Avshi was set to laundering. A punishment from their party members which they had accepted with dignity. Chai was submerged to her nose in the pool and was content to be like a rock. Hilary had her big black eyes locked on him, reflecting the starlight.
Niran was helping Oren with his feathered wings. The ends of the feathers were raw and curled and brittle from the exposure to the acids. He had totally forgotten! He crawled over to them, which spooked them. From a pocket he drew out a small bottle and with a little encouragement the Harpy took it and sniffed the contents. Her eyes widened and she glared at him before taking out a small dab of goo and mixing it with water before applying it to the feathers. Oren shuddered as the suds were rubbed in, not with pain, but with relief.
What was that bard doing! That was very brave, and very dangerous.
Yonah stuck out his tongue which the bard clung to, with hands, and teeth! They had decided to bite back. That earned them a pinched midsection and a nice bellyflop into the water.
“That was very stupid” Yonah said with a slight slur as his tongue felt so odd, “I could have bitten down!”
“Fuck you!” Was all they said before stripping and hastily getting every bit of offending stickiness off their skin.
“Very forward, not so surprising from a bard” Yonah winked at Tori “Maybe later.”
Tori’s ears folded back with fear and embarrassment and said nothing. Chai finally took pity and waded over to hand them some soap. It was lavender scented.
Yonah flopped down on the cool mossy ground next to the pool, his whole body ached from he fight and from throwing up three people. He winced as a few arrows stuck in his person shifted. Arrows that, in all the excitement, he hadnt noticed. Sophia came over to him with a cloth and healing salve. Not nearly as powerful as the one Niran had been given, nothing so magical, just to keep his wounds clean.
“Is this really the duty of a princess?” Hilary asked as Sophia yanked the second arrow out.
“That’s not a princess!” Chai snorted “that’s a minion!”
Yonah grinned “she’s a bit of both”, then he remembered the potion! He downed the healing liquid in one gulp. Even if it took a minute to start working, just knowing relief was coming was a start.
Sophia smacked his nose with the bloody cloth “I am a princess! I am not just a bit of a princess.”
She paused in her work to bow to the company “I am Princess Sophia of Orr, captive to the great and terrible Yonah Ha’Esh. We are pleased to be your hosts.”
Most of them looked bewildered at this. One of the Mystical Kings' own children? They looked to avshi for confirmation and they nodded.
“What makes you think we are staying?” Chai snorted.
“What makes you think you’re leaving?” Sophia shot back, “None of you are in any condition to be out in the woods at night! Even if you all stuck together.”
“No thanks to your giant!” Oren pointed out, trying to stretch his wings and wincing.
“Aw I was just playing” Yonah sighs “It had been a while since I got to battle adventurers! I told Myran not to tell me anything about you, I didnt want to have an advantage.”
“You KNEW we were coming and you STILL ate us!?” Tori couldnt beleive what they were hearing.
“Hmmmm yes, i wanted a nice appetizer. Or you can think of it as… payment.”
“We would have rather just paid you money” Chai points out.
“I dont need money. I'm a royal mage.” He rolled onto his back and placed sophia on his chest where she lay down as well. He put a hand over her and stroked her.
“That’s bullshit!”
“No, he really is” Avshi said, “i told you before.”
“And I much preferred getting to eat you. Pity im only half-giant, i could only fit three of you in. So only three of you have paid your rent so far.”
Niran froze “but… you said…”
Yonah waved hand at up at the sky dismissively  “yes yes, I wont eat you, but the elf… hilary was it? I still want payment from you. Oh and Avshi of course.”
“Yes, Avshi, what do you say to that!” Chai sneered and all eyes except for yonah;s were on them.
Avshi just shrugged “Wouldnt be the first time”
“Uch!” Chai rolled her eyes and splashed water in their direction “All this time! You knew this could happen! That he would eat us!”
“And that he would spit you out!”
“It's kind of my thing” Yonah admitted “Its delightful good fun to be a villain, but I’m not interested in taking lives so thoughtlessly!”
“Not… interested?” Hilary asked, not so sure she liked that choice of words.
“It’s a lot easier to not spit people up. Takes a lot more thought to be merciful once ive gotten someone into my stomach, and it really wants to keep you tasty little morsels.” as if on cue his stomach growled loudly and he pat it affectionately. “My stomach is demanding I stuff one of you back in, but I dont think it’d let me be merciful again tonight” he laughed.
Only Sophia and Avshi knew that he was joking.
“Speaking of food!” he sat up, sophia falling into his lap, and looked at them with hungry eyes. “I think it's near time for dinner.”
---
All thoughts of leaving were gone by the time they were eating the dinner Yonah had set out for them. He had gotten out a very nice table to set on his larger one, and set a cushion on each chair! To go with the food he put out jugs of wine and cider. Finally he sat down. Fuck. Even with the healing potion he knew he shouldn't be walking so much, he dreaded what state his knees would be in tomorrow.
Yonah used another teleport to get back into the tower, after Avshi took the crystal to the workshop.
Then came the real difficulty. Getting down the stairs to the kitchen. Slow steps down the stairs, using his staff as a crutch.
He needed booze. He reached for the cider that he had just put down.
Giant’s Booze was rather low in alcohol but so delicious that it was still easy to get drunk on.
But the food. The food! Chai was sure she had never eaten so well in her entire life, and judging by how little anyone was talking and how enthusiastically they were eating, her friends thought the same. There was lamb stew spiced with… that was dwarven spices, from HER mountain, he couldn't have known. And a squash soup loaded with plenty of vegetables. Spiced flat bread that paired perfectly with the cucumber and tomato salad and bean paste.
“You must visit more” Yonah said to Avshi “especially if you bring such exciting guests!”
“Yonah you cant eat everyone I adventure with.” Avshi laughed.
“Not with that attitude! But if you call ahead, I would consider” he winced as a brief shot of pain went through him “I would consider not tormenting them.”
“Promise?”
“I dont think a villain can make promises” Yonah winked.
“You’re an ass.” Avshi pointed out.
“I do try my best”
Tori finally stopped inhaling soup to speak with Sophia.
“How did you know how to cancel out my song?” they asked “That style of interference is a technique that Beit Ha’Kolanu* teaches, but you said you’re a princess!”
(*house of our voices)
Sophia grinned “Yonah had a bard come around to give me some pointers. And with my princess vocal training, picking up some bardic techniques was simple!” She would not give up the name of the bard.
Hilary was still eyeing yonah nervously, “You… wont be taking payment tonight will you?”
It took a moment for Yonah to register she was talking to him and he disengaged from catching up with Avshi.
“What, oh, no no no, that would be so rude of me.”
“Since when do you care about being rude!” Sophia called him out “You’re just fucking tired and don't want to toss up your dinner!”
“Both can be true!” Yonah said “but I am thinking about having a royal dessert”
Sophia ran a hand through her braid “we’ll see about that- Yipe!”
He took her in a hand hand brought her to his face to lick her “Maybe I should have dessert early!”
“Woah woah!” Chai shouted, out of her chair and with a knife in her hand. A dinner knife.... Niran screeched, and Oren spread his wings in a show of aggression.
“What kind of villain are you! Your princess doesn't deserve being eaten! His Mystical Majesty would kill you!”
Yonah didn’t respond, for he had one of Sophia’s arms in his mouth. Sophia shoved at his face
“He’s being greedy!” she huffed “I rarely deserve it anymore, if i ever did.”
It took a moment for them to realize that of course, if the giant and princess were being so casual about it, he wasn't intending to kill his captive. For one thing, it was extremely rare for giants to do that, and for a second…
“How long have you been a captive?” Tori asked.
“Oh, about three years” Sophia yanked her hand out of Yonah’s mouth but he just licked her face. “Gross!” she yelled “Why must you do that at dinner! It's so gross!”
“Better her than me…” Hilary whispered but not quiet enough for Yonah to miss it. His ear twitched and he licked his lips.
“I could swap!” he said, but he didn't. He set Sophia down and she wiped herself off before finishing dinner.
---
Morning came and his fears were confirmed. Knees nearly the size of his head they were so swollen. It was only with magical assistance that he managed to get out of bed, but he couldn’t make it to the kitchen. Stairs were not happening. He made it to the living room, picked out a few books so he wouldn’t have to get up for new ones, and sat on the couch. Then lay down on the couch, propping his feet up. That helped.
“Hey IDIOT!”
Oh right. His royal dessert. He’d be happy to spit her up… if he wasn’t so disinclined to move for the next several hours. At some point he would have to! He’d need to eat, need to use the toilet… he’d need to get to find someone to heal his knees. But right now, he just wanted to lay on his couch.
Sophia grumbled at his reluctance but did understand why, so she didn’t insist on being released just yet. So he’d get his few hours on the couch with his books. And a belly full of princess. It would be so pleasant if it weren’t for the throbbing pain.
Did he smell smoke? That was definitely smoke. From the kitchen.
Since sophia could hear him he groaned very loudly before making his slow painful way down the stairs to the kitchen to find 6 small people attempting to cook on his stove and use his toaster. They weren't exactly failing, but were having some difficulties.
“I have smaller appliances” yonah growled making them jump, thankfully none of them fell, not off the counter nor into any heated appliance.
Instead of retrieving such things he sat at the dining table and directed his guests to each location. Avshi did a little magic to direct airflow and remove the smoke smell caused by bread stuck in his giant-sized toaster.
“We were trying to make food for you as well” Avshi said.
“That’s… nice” Yonah frowned a bit, suspicious.
“Some of us objected!” Chai added and Yonah grinned. “But Avshi was… persuasive.”
“I am grateful for the effort, if you think you can manage it, kasha and eggs would be a fine breakfast.”
They could manage. Boiling the buckwheat and scrambling eggs wasnt so hard at a larger scale, especially with Avshi providing some kitchen magic, with Yonah’d direction.
“These are basic spells Avshi!” yonah chided.
“I don't really need cooking spells on adventures” Avshi pointed out.
Not as fantastic as dinner had been, but still a very enjoyable meal was prepared. Piles of toast and jars of jams were opened even though yonah protested at a few, made with rarer berries and fruits, there wasnt much he could do about it.
“Will your princess be joining us?”
He wasnt really sure who said it since siad princess thrashed, visibly, in his stomach while yelling to be let out and if he takes one bite of food with her still in she’d make him regret it.  But he barely noticed with all the eyes on him. It was annoying to feel embarrassed about it, Sophia was fine! They’d all been told the details last night. And most importantly, he couldn't get up to spit her up in the sink. He had to do it here, at the table.
It was challenging as he couldnt even stand to get a better angle, but he managed it. And with a CLUNK Sophia hit the table and started to cuss him out. How he could have done this when he had woken up! When he walked into the kitchen and was already standing and could reach the sink! but NOOOOOOOO.
Yonah chose to take a cleansing swig of water and then use a cleaning spell on Sophia before she dismissed her glass form and took seat at the midsize table full of silent seated figures.
“Well? Don’t tell me you’ve never seen someone spat up before! I mean aside from last night. If this made any of you lost your appetites I will be severely disappointed.” and she took a piece of toast and a large spoonful of yonah’s most valuable jam.
They did manage to eat breakfast, and even clean up.
Yonah insisted they make their way to the living room, not upstairs to the workshop, when the adventuring party began to say their farewells. Most were intrigued and/or confused, with Chai being suspicious. Once again Yonah lay on his couch, though only after he picked out a few more books, smallfolk sized, and a scroll. He also piled some pillows to properly elevate his legs. It was very awkward but the relief was very worth it.
The adventurers had been all placed on an ottoman next to the couch. Sophia sat on Yonah’s chest with her own book, thoroughly uninterested in what was going on and making sure everyone knew this.
“You’re very good adventurers” Yonah mused.
“Excuse me?” Chai squeaked.
Yonah snorted “Look at me! You nearly took me down and that was with three of your lot out of the fight, and the rest of you tired from a day of adventuring already. Of course, i was holding back, didnt want to hurt my guests.” he chuckled, “but you gave me a run for my money.”
“We werent being paid by you… to fight you.” Oren pointed out.
“No. No you werent, so how about instead I pay you to adventure for me?”
“EXCUSE ME?” Chai nearly choked, “we are NOT accepting money from an evil wizard! Certainly not one who ATE THREE OF US!”
“Hush!” Tori elbowed her.
“But, he’s evil! We’re the heroes, our reputations!” She continued to protest.
“I am not hiring you as an evil wizard” Yonah corrected her, “but as a royal mage. His Mystical Majesty has authorized me to fund quests should the situation call for it. And the situation calls for it.”
He lifted up a hand and twirled it in the air, making the books  and scroll he got out earlier levitate and open to fall upon the ottoman in front of the now curious smalls. Old books that he had managed to untangle about 90% of the mysteries of, and a scroll that remained wholly incomprehensible. All this led to the locations of a few magical items as well as means to do some reconnaissance on decaying fey realm structure. King Ben needed to beef up the protective wards on sensitive parts of the forest.
Not that the adventurers needed to know this. Their job was to solve a few puzzles, survive the treacherous quests, and bring back the items and information. They didnt need to know what it was all for, even if they begged to know.
“I’ll tell Avshi upon your return, but i will have Eli draw up a contract that they will regret breaking should they tell the lot of you. Oh fuck i forgot! You all need to sign a contract for this quest” none of them looked happy, in fact they all looked like they were about to turn down the job.
“Dont worry,” yonah said which only made them worry more, “It’s just an employment contact for the king’s records, budget stuff mostly. Ok it has some magic binding but it just lets us know if any of you die on the job, it wont curse you for abandoning the story”
Finally he told them how much they’d be paid and Chai nearly fainted. No one had anymore objections.
“What’s the catch?” Chai asked when she got her wits back.
Yonah took a deep breath.
“Before you do any of this” he waved a hand at the books and scroll. “I really need you to fetch me a witch to fucking fix my knees”

Snatcher (A Hat in Time) x Shrunken Oc
Summary: She didn't know she was on his property, it's a massive forest, for crying out loud! If she doesn't want to die, she must sign a contract Snatcher offer her. She should have read it too since her surrounding is getting larger and he's a giant ghost now. He gives her two minutes' head start to hide, and he'll seek out to find her. This can’t be good for her.
Warning: Vore
“FOOOOOOOOOL!” A giant ghost shouted at Chris after he releases her from his trap. She should have asked Hat Kid for directions on where to not step into his trap. “You blew it! You totally screwed yourself! Nobody enters my home and leaves in one piece!” Chris’s eyes went huge with fear. She’s going to die here. Being killed by a ghost. How is she supposed to explain that to death!? “Tell you what though! Hang on a minute! You get to live!” Chris looks at him with slight confusion.
“W-What? I…Get to live?” Chris asks him. First, he wanted to kill me, now he says I get to live?
“That’s right! Aren’t you lucky?!” He says. “Normally I’d eat your soul and toss your body,” …Hat Kid…How the peck are you even still alive? Your BFF with a ghost who eats souls for crying out loud! “but you’re a lucky one! Because I just happened to lose a braindead servant of mine after he lost a certain game we play. It was only a simple game, but I guess he couldn’t handle being a loser for once in his life!” He said before mumbling to himself, which Chris couldn’t hear him. “Maybe one of those frog’s caught him.”
“Okay. So…that means I’ll be taking his place then?” She asks. Her response is Snatcher coming up to her face. Too close for her comfort.
"That’s right! And now I need a new partner to play my game.” He says while smirking.
“Alright. I guess I wouldn’t mind playing this game of yours…um, what’s your name?” Chris asks. How did I forget his name that easily! Hattie mentions his name a thousand times and how he’s her BFF.
“Oh yeah! I didn’t even introduce myself.” He backs up a bit to his original position as he stares down at her. “The name’s Snatcher, Cookie.” Oh! That’s his name…Wait, why did he call me a cookie?
“Nice to meet you. I’m Chris.” She responds before suddenly, a contract and a feather pen appeared in front of her.
“So, tell you what Chris, I’ve got a piece of paper here! Don’t worry about the details! I just need you to sign right here at the bottom!” Chris nervously takes the pen and signs the paper.
“Okay, done.” She said as the contract poofs away.
“AHAHAHAHA! That’s it! That seals the deal!” He laughs evilly, making Chris nervous as she thinks maybe she should have read the contract.
“So, what game are we playing?” She asks him. He smiles down at her.
“Oh, just a simple game called Hide in seek!” Hide in seek?... Okay. Just stay hidden or pretend you’re looking for him while trying to find a way out of here.
“Alright. I guess I wouldn’t mind playing it.”
“Great! But first, let me just grab this real quick.” He said and snapped his finger.
“Grab what?” Chris manages to say before lighting starts striking her multiple times until eventually, something came out of her as it flies towards Snatcher’s grasp. She felt exceedingly empty inside. Did he…Just stole my pecking soul!?
“Whoops! Guess this soul belongs to me now!” He laughs at her scared look before he made her soul vanish. “Don’t worry, though! If you win the game, you’ll have your soul back real soon!” He reassures her.
“Oh, good,” Chris said poorly, praying that she would survive this game and hope not to die. “Which one of us is going to be the seeker?” She asks. “Should we like, play rock, paper, scissor who gets the first turn?”
“No need to, because I’ll be the seeker!” He says proudly. Great, I’m gonna be chased by a ghost in the forest. This sounds like a great horror film to be in.
“Okay then. Should I-”
“Hold on, before you start hiding, their one last thing I need to do!” He smirks as he bends down to her height.
“A-And that is?”
“…” It was quiet for a few seconds until he raises his finger and boop her nose. “Boop!” He laughs before pulling away. She was cut off guard, confused why the ghost boop her until she noticed he was getting bigger and bigger! Is he becoming a giant?! She looks around and notices her surroundings were also getting larger too! He wasn’t becoming a giant, Chris is becoming tiny!
“Hey! Why did you shrink me!” She shouted at him as she continues being shrunk. “Stop it!” Snatcher just laughs.
“No can do, cookie. Shrinking you is part of our little game!” He says until Chris finally stops shrinking.
“Why?! In a game of hide-in-seek?! That doesn’t even make sense to find someone tiny!”
“It does for me.” He comes closer to her as Chris takes a few steps back from his face. “Now you better run along and hide. Because once I find you, you’ll never leave my territory. For the rest of your life~.” He smirks as he watches her shaking like leaf. “Welp!” He pulls away from her as he floats to his full height. “I’ll give you a ten-minute head start! Find a good hiding spot! Oh, and make sure you don’t get eaten by frogs either. See ya!” He shouted and disappeared, leaving Chris alone, in a gigantic forest, tiny.
“Why didn’t I read the contract!” She yells to herself and starts running.
________________________________________________________________
Chris doesn’t know how much time she has left or if Snatcher has already started to search for her. This hide-in-seek has now become some kind of surviving game. Don’t get eaten by frogs, don’t let Snatcher’s minions spot her, don’t let any of the Forest Dwellers spot her, don’t die especially since she already lost her soul, don’t get killed by the headless statues, and most importantly, don’t let Snatcher find her. Who knows what he’ll do to her if he finds her and Chris does not want to know. If I could just find a way out of here, this shrinking effect might go away. Or perhaps find a way to turn him blue. She hears a woosh and knew that could be Snatcher. She looks around and sees several bushes. That looks safe.
She quickly runs towards it and hid in the bushes just in time to hear an eerie humming coming from Snatcher. She stays still and quiet as she watches him looking around for her. Please just leave. Please just leave. Please just leave! Snatcher turns his attention to the bushes Chris is hiding in as he comes towards it. No! No! NO! Chris panics as she watches him coming closer and closer to where she’s hiding until…he passes by her and pays attention to another bush right beside her. This gave Chris enough time to quietly leave her hiding spot and ran.
“Too close. Too close.” She quietly said as she looks for another hiding spot or at least a way out while Snatcher is distracted. “Why on earth would Hat kid ever want to be BFF with a murderous ghost? And why is he torturing me with this terrifying game? I’ll never find a way out of this stupid forest with this size!” Chris sees a campfire not too far and figured maybe there’s someone who could help her get out of here. “Hey! Can somebody help me? Hey!” She shouted for them as she runs full speed till she reaches the campfire, only for her hopes to be crushed.
“We want to die!” One of the fire spirits says happily. “Yay!” …Same…But not right now! Since fire spirits won’t help her out, she has to keep moving and figure something out to get herself unshrink. She continues with her journey and sees a massive tree across the lake that looks like a nice relaxing space to read. There’s a huge thorn-like bridge she could walk to avoid the water. Maybe someone or something could help me there. Chris carefully walks on the bridge until she eventually reaches there as it turns out to be some sort of like a mini room. A huge empty chair, a huge closet, a clock, and a table with a book on the edge.
Chris looks closely at the book and sees the title called “How to Kill Kids” It didn’t take her a while to realize she’s in Snatcher’s home. Possibly the worst time and place for her to be. “…I’m gonna have to buy a book for Hat Kid on how to kill a ghost.”
“Where are you~! My little sweet cookie~!” She hears Snatcher calling for her. Seriously, what’s with that cookie nickname!? Chris looks around and sees the closet was slightly open, so there’s a chance he wouldn’t look in there. She quickly rushes to the closet and jumps inside as one of the doors was slightly crooked before going to the darkest corner, hoping Snatcher wouldn’t look inside. She hears him continue with his creepy humming as he looks around his home, except his closet, before he shrugs and left. Chris stays quiet just in case while taking several steps to peek out to see if he truly left. Everything is still and quiet. Okay. I think he’s go- “Peek a Boo!” Chris screams when Snatcher’s eye appears in front of her before he opens the doors and snatches her in his grasp.
“AHH! NO!” Chris screams as she struggles in his hand while he laughs at her attempt to escape. “Let me go, you noodle arms!”
“No can do!” He chuckles as he sits down on his chair before bringing her up to his face. “We played the game, I end up winning the game while you end up losing.” Chris tries to get him to let go of her until he throws her in the air as she screams for a second time before he catches her by her hoodie. “But hey! At least you weren’t eaten by frogs though.”
“Yeah, because it took ten minutes to get one of them to stop chasing me!” Chris yells at him. “Now put me down and turn me back to normal!”
“HA! Not gonna happen sweetheart. Remember what I said before if I caught you.” Chris stops struggling and looks him in the eye, remembering what he said earlier to her. If he caught her, she’ll never leave his forest for the rest of her life.
“Snatch, come on,” Chris says nervously. “Do you really want to have a tiny person you shrank? I-I mean, you know I can’t survive out there being this tiny! Plus, with you stealing my soul, it’s worse! So could you please just at least unshrink me!?” She yells at him. Snatcher just laughs at her until she began to notice he was laughing a bit with dark in it.
“Then how else am I supposed to eat you?~”
“…What?” Chris didn’t get her response back when he brings Chris towards his mouth before opening it wide open to reveal his glowing yellow tongue and everything in his mouth. “HEY! NO! LET GO OF ME!” Chris yells at him as he places her in his mouth and traces his hand away just in time when Chris tries to crawl out of it, but he shuts his mouth tight. “LET ME OUT, YOU DEMON! I AM NOT FOOD!” Chris shouted before feeling his tongue below her start to shift around. He begins to toss her around from left to right, covering her in some strange ghost saliva and tasting her flavor.
Snatcher hums in delight as he swished her around, tossing her around and getting a good taste of her. He was expecting her to taste different, but she tasted exactly like a cookie! It’s a good thing he called her that. Chris keeps trying to stay away from his tongue by pushing it away or moving somewhere else besides his throat, but no matter what, Snatcher’s tongue always finds a way to hold her down to taste her.
“You’re quite a delicious dessert, cookie.” Snatcher teases her, twirling her around in his mouth to make sure he didn’t missies a single angle of her tiny figure. He can feel her fighting for a way out of his mouth as he pushes his tongue to the roof with Chris along, noting the air out of her for a second before pushing her towards one of his cheeks just to play with her. “I must be honest, I wish I have met you earlier! Cause I would have just shrunken and eaten you instead of playing a game with you!” He laughs.
Chris eventually has enough strength to push Snatcher’s tongue off her, giving her a few moments to catch her breath. Only for a moment before she felt his tongue starting to push her towards his throat. No! NO! PECK NO! Before Snatcher could swallow her, Chris quickly leaps away from his tongue and grabs onto his uvula. Probably a bad idea to do cause she’s clinging to life right now. “Snatcher, spit me out right now!”
“Nope!” He snickers. “You might as well just give up, cookie. I’ll make sure your death is slow and painful.” He tells her as his uvula shakes from each of his words. Chris started to feel her grip becoming loosened to his uvula. His laughing, his tongue trying to poker her and his saliva will make Chris fall to his throat in no time. She begins to think of a way for him to make him not eat her, release her, and turn her back to her normal size.
“Snatcher! I am not food! You wouldn’t want to eat one of Hat Kid’s friends, would you?” Chris decides to tell him. Hopefully, that’ll stop him from trying to eat me. He wouldn’t want to hurt her feelings, right?
“Hmm?” He stops and decides to listen to her. “You’re a friend of kiddo?”
“Yes! And since you agree to be her BFF, you can’t kill one of Hat Kid’s friends. You’d be breaking your own rule and contract.” Chris says with a smirk, only to be wiped off when his tongue wraps around her tightly and pulls her away from his uvula in time before she was feeling tired holding onto it as she hears him groaning in disappointment from the back of his throat. It looks like he gets the point of what she’s trying to explain to him. Chris wiggles herself out from his tongue a little bit until she gets one of her arms out. “So, you see what I mean? You can’t kill me.”
“Agggh! Fine!” Snatcher shouted, almost damaging Chris’s ears but they’re fine. “Your right, I can’t kill you.” He grumbles a bit, annoyed he couldn’t enjoy his little cookie until suddenly, he got an idea. If Chris thought out a loophole in the contract, well so can he. He grins at his devilish idea as he lays Chris down flat on his tongue.
“Now, will you let me out and unshrink me?” Chris asks him.
“…Nah.” Snatcher laughs. “I’m not letting you go.”
“What!? You-”
“Now, down the hatch you go!” He pushes his tongue up towards his throat, giving Chris no time to escape when she feels both of her feet in his throat.
“No!” Chris shouted and tried to pull herself out of his throat, fighting back by moving her arms and legs around to at least hold her from traveling further down. Chris is gonna make sure her life does not end here. Soul or no soul, she’s not getting eaten, but Snatcher noticed and swallow again. Pulling Chris’s body deeper into his throat, the only thing that remains left is one of her arms and her head. “Snatcher!!” He swallows one last time, fully swallowing her shrunken body as she slides down his throat. “You Mother Peck Neck!” Chris screams at him while being swallowed alive by a ghost.
Snatcher sighs in relief as he felt Chris sliding down in his throat while hearing her continuing shouting at him. It’s quite hilarious to him how Chris showed fear at first when he first met her, frustration when he found her, then annoyance after he played with her in his mouth. He feels Chris eventually falls into his stomach for a few moments until he suddenly feels something hitting him from the inside. He laughs as it turns out Chris was still trying to find a way out and that she’s hitting his stomach flesh.
“Snatcher! Spit me out! You broke your deal! You said you can’t kill me!!” Chris shouted.
“And that’s what I’m doing. I’m not killing you.” He simply says.
“What do you mean by that!? I’m in your gross dead stomach!”
“Yeah, but you aren’t digested, right?”
“Right! And-…Wait. What?” Chris stops hitting his stomach.
“Surprise! You get a second chance to live!” Snatcher cheers for her. What? What’s going on here?
“What are you getting at?” Chris asks him.
“Well, since you won’t let me “Eat you”, I decided to eat you. So sadly, you won’t suffer in my stomach.”
“Okay. But why did you continue to swallow me alive then?”
“Oh, come on! I had to!” He says. “Your flavor is to Die for~. So, how about we make a new deal?”
“Why would I ever make another deal with you?” Chris asks him before poking his stomach flesh.
“Don’t you want to be back to your normal size again?”
“Alright, I’m listening.” Didn’t take Chris long to reply to him.
“Okay, so here’s the deal. I’ll give you your soul back, return you back to your size, and allow you to leave my forest if, I can shrink and eat you again.”
“WHAT!? NO DEAL!” She yells at him.
“Come on, now~. It’s not like you have any other choices.” He tells her.
“So, you are just gonna shrink and eat me whenever you’re hungry?”
“Exactly! When you are out shopping, hanging out with your friends, or even taking a nap, I’ll just appear right beside you and take you to my forest where I can have my delicious cookie in peace~.” He says dreamily as Chris groans.
“What you’re saying is either I spend the rest of my life in your stomach or accept your deal.”
“Yep! As I said, it’s not like you have any other choices. Your opinion doesn’t matter to me.” Um…Wow, rude.
“…Okay, fine. It’s a deal.” Chris groans before leaning against the flesh walls.
“Good choice! Let’s hope you’re up for the task to be my dessert for the rest of your life~.”
“Yeah, yeah. Can you let me out now?”
“Not yet! I just ate you!” He shouted. “You best be relaxing, sleeping or something. Because I’m not gonna release you just yet~.”
“You peck neck,” Chris swore as she sits down and rest against the walls. “Just keep your deal and don’t kill me.”
“Don’t worry, I won’t.” He smirks. “Have a pleasant rest, my sweet little cookie~”
“And stop calling me that!” Chris yells out.

  Two months later…
  You dream of Earth tonight.
There are fields; you are standing in one. Long Bermuda grass tickles your ankles with the gentle presence of the planet recognizing its own. The endless green is splattered with occasional droplets of color: pink poppies, yellow sunflowers, marigolds, dandelions. It is warm. There is a slight wind blowing, playing with your hair. You turn your face towards the sunlight and bask in the relief of knowing you are home.
All of a sudden, you hear a sound. Thumping. Steady, rhythmic. Loud. You feel the wind die down and suddenly the sun is gone, and there is only darkness. A massive shadow blots out all of the light. You see a figure looming over you, red-and-white with bright blue eyes that stare into your soul and make you feel terror.
You try to run, but find you cannot move your legs. There is nothing you can do when you watch a giant hand reach down in slow motion and pluck you up, holding you between titanic fingers. The monster’s mouth opens, and then you are tumbling down, right into an abyss of metal and isolation. The Earth melts away forever. You are trapped. You are alone.
Tumblr media
Shooting forward out of your nightmare, you hear yourself scream. The squishy floor underneath you makes you lose your footing when you scramble upward in a blind panic and fall into Drift’s stomach wall. Everything moves, the organ grumbling unhappily at you being awake. Your hands scramble at the mesh cables. Little pink bubbles of cybernetic blood pop anxiously beneath their semi-transparent surfaces. The walls close in to squeeze, holding you in a secure hug, attempting to keep you still. But you cannot think. You are scared, and you feel trapped, so you desperately begin to thrash and fight against the stomach.
Drift’s voice booms above you, panicked. “Little one? Little one?!”
“Let me go!” you shriek. “Please, letmegoletmegoletmego!”
The walls loosen up, freeing you. You collapse into the fetal position, gasping while sweat beads your brow and your heart goes crazy.
Drift presses his hands over his middle. “Little one, little one, shhhh, shh, shh, shh,” he hushes frantically. “Safe, safe…safe, all is safe...no need for fear…”
Gradually, you calm down. Only when you are no longer trembling does Drift tentatively begin to squeeze you again. In and out, slow kneading, like he’s silently coaxing you to continue breathing at a healthier pace. “Little one…okay?” he asks.
Your voice quivers. “I-I’m fine. I’m okay. It-It was a bad dream. A nightmare.” You sit upright and lean into the stomach wall. Drift holds you close, the undulating muscle relaxing you with its constant massage. His biolights pulse and flicker, a clear sign of his stress. You woke him up with your screams. It makes you feel bad, so you snuggle his cables further. The robot’s stomach is not a big place, but Drift likes to be conscious of you. The support you provide him in completing this task is obviously appreciated, because he hums softly and pats his hand over where you are.
There is peace again. Peace and warmth. But you don’t feel the usual safety. There is a lingering pit of dread growing deep within your gut, foul roots clawing their way through your body, leaving you jittery, uneased. Your nightmare is the first one in months, and it’s a sure sign things are not right.
It has been such a long time since you thought of your possible escape plan. You don’t know how long, but you do know that you can’t be comfortable here anymore. Your mind is sending the signals loud and clear.
No more stalling, you think to yourself. No more being complacent.
  You are not domesticated yet.
When Drift lets you out of here…you will go through with the plan to take an escape pod home. For real this time.
Tumblr media
It takes you weeks to perfect your plan. And when you do finally have it all figured out, you come to the conclusion that things may end up being more complicated than you thought. Escaping a spaceship filled with giant alien robots is hard enough, yes. But then there’s the issue of what will happen when you return to Earth. You don’t know how long you’ve been abducted. It could be months. It could be years. What if all of your family and friends are long gone by the time you get home? What if things are so different that you’ve been completely left behind?
No. You can’t think like that. A sharp patting to your cheeks snaps you out of it. Keep it together. This is the moment you have been waiting for. Regardless of what awaits you on Earth, you will be there to face it.
You’ve packed everything you own into a small fabric knapsack your mech gifted you during your first days here (Who knew robots are such good knitters?). It’s not much, not much at all: snacks Drift gives you, strange pellets that clean your teeth, three cans of filtered water…but that’s all you really require for the trip you are going to embark on. You don’t believe it will be particularly long. The escape pods need to have some sort of device that allows them to leap through lightyears to their destinations. You believe this because you’ve watched the mothership do it from the observation windows Drift likes to bring you to sometimes. Hyperspace will occasionally be activated, with stars and planets blurring together into dazzling white paint streaks before coming to an abrupt halt in a totally new galaxy.
Now, do you know how lightjumping works? Absolutely not. Last time you were on Earth, no such human technology had been invented yet. So you don’t exactly know how you’ll get the escape pod to lightjump like the ship does. But you’ll find a way. You have no choice.
Now for the hard part: getting away from Drift long enough to activate the escape pod and blast away. He’s not going to make it easy for you. Drift doesn’t like letting you out of his sight if you aren’t in his room, and hardly lets you roam free. You’ve spent hours, both within his stomach and out, pondering how to go about this. It’s left you with the agonizing decision that you’ll just have to wing it somehow.
The door to his room slides open. You’ve been sitting on his berth with your hands beneath your head and one leg crossed over the other, thinking, thinking, thinking, that at first you nearly didn’t hear him come in. You sit up to greet him with more eagerness than you’d like to show. The nightmare didn’t stop your affection for Drift from rearing its persistent head.
There’s no waiting for him to give you his time today. When he enters the room, his focus is immediately on you with no prior distractions. Drift walks with a spring in his step, his finials perking up like an enthusiastic dog. You notice a small white box he holds in one hand, and think nothing of it. Drift’s room is decorated with countless knickknacks from other planets. It wouldn’t be the first time he’s brought some strange little souvenir home.
“Hey, big guy,” you murmur happily when he kneels down before you. He settles the box to the side and cups both hands behind you, humming his typical car engine-purr greeting. You hug him when he draws you forth so he can nuzzle his nose into your middle. “I’m guessing you missed me?”
Drift beep-boops excitedly. He gives you an affectionate tickle to your side, causing you to giggle. Your reaction delights him. He keeps it up, and pretty soon you are laughing so hard your stomach hurts. “D-Drift, s-stop! I-I can’t breathe!”
He gives you one last light prod, then ends the bout of torture with more cuddles. You recover from the laughter, feeling airy and light like nothing else matters except for the giant robot holding you.
“Little one,” he coos. “My little one.”
“Mhm,” you mumble goodnaturedly. “Yeah. Yeah, I’m yours.”
He suddenly looks like he’s remembered something very important, and he straightens, chirping rapidly. You watch as he grabs the white box and, to your surprise, presents it to you. You glance at it, then turn to him. “For me?” you ask, pointing at yourself.
  He chirps again and nods.
You take it from him and open it with a slight air of confusion, because he’s never given you something like this before. You think it might be a piece of jewelry, or some sort of charm. But what you see inside is neither of those things. You suck in a sharp breath of pure disbelief and go numb.
It’s a collar. A damn collar. Sleek and narrow, its solid red with a single white stripe circumnavigating it. On one side is a strange symbol of a boxy red robot’s face-the same symbol he has on his chest. These are his colors, you realize. He’s making us match. He wants the other mechs to know that he owns you.
Drift rumbles expectantly. When you remain frozen, unable to pry your eyes away from the collar, he gently pries it out of your now slightly shaking hands. With extreme carefulness, he clasps it around your neck. It fits comfortably and locks with a quiet click.
“My little one,” he repeats. “Mine.”
He’s not trying to scare you. You know he isn’t. Yet your throat is dry, and the snug weight of the collar makes you feel sick.
You need to get the hell off of this ship.
Tumblr media
You spend the night feverishly trying to break the collar off, working yourself up like a caged animal driven mad by captivity. But no matter how hard you yank at it, it remains stubbornly fast around your neck. You refuse to eat the food given to you and cry yourself to sleep within a very concerned Drift’s belly, who can’t seem to console you no matter how hard he tries.
Tumblr media
Drift doesn’t know what to do with you.
You’ve been moping ever since he gave you the collar. Over the next few days, any sort of drive to escape has left you. You're depressed and disappointed in him for what he’s done. You don’t want to talk to him. You don’t want to accept any of his gifts. Blanket after pillow after plushie-all made by him, with the crude markings of homemade love-are ignored. You shy away from his touch and reject his attention. When he swallows you at night, you give him no inclination you care. You sit like a stone within him and just…stare off vacantly, unable to ignore the collar around your neck.
He’s brought you to the ship’s doctor multiple times. On the first trip, the old red medic bot looked you over and finished his checkup with a shrug and dismissive chuff. The second time, he growled at Drift and waved him away. And on the third time, he didn’t even let him through the door. There’s nothing physically wrong with you. But mentally, how could they know? How could he know he’s hurt you? You trusted him to treat you with some level of respect despite your situation, and he had, until now. The collar was your breaking point. There truly is no way for him to ever see you as anything more than a pet, and it hurts you, because by god, you love him.
  “…Little one?”
Drift calls out to you with a soft, sad tone. You huddle up tighter beneath one of your blankets and give no answer.
You hear him shift at his desk. There’s silence between the two of you that is not wanted. He heaves a low sigh and tries again. “Little one…please?”
Damn your heart, you can’t keep giving him the silent treatment when he sounds like he’s about to cry.
You push the blanket off of your head. Drift slouches in his chair, back bent like an old man’s. His finials are drooping, and the glow from his biolights is dimmer than usual. He’s obviously been letting his personal hygiene go for the sake of finding a way to help you, and it hurts to know he’s in this state because of your shitty attitude towards what he simply sees as a gift. The collar is a curse, but you can’t exactly tell him that, can you? This entire situation is all your fault.
It's the treacherous part of your mind which attempts to convince you of this. It partially works. Giving in, you sit up slowly, drawing the blanket tightly around your shoulders and tilting your head while giving him a questioning look.
He’s surprised by your action, like he genuinely wasn’t expecting you to respond to this extent. But he takes advantage of it. Drift offers you a hopeful smile and picks something up from his desk. He stands and walks to you, going slow. You don’t flinch when he crouches down to your level. The warm light of his eyes leaves a kind feeling on your skin.
Tentatively, Drift extends his hand. In his palm is a piece of chocolate, one of the many treats he has at his disposal to provide you with when he feels you are being especially good. It’s an olive branch. A reach in the right direction.
You hesitate…and then you think, Oh, what the hell. Staying mad at Drift when he has no clue he’s done something wrong in the first place won’t get you anywhere. So you accept the candy and take a small bite.
He sags with relief, exhaust whooshing from his nose as he watches you eat with a smile. When you're finished, he moves his hand closer, twining the palm around you and resting the tips of his digits against your head and sides. You hold his index finger, resting your forehead against it and closing your eyes as a sign of trust. But you feel guilty.
“I’m sorry,” you whisper, knowing he won’t understand. But you say it anyway. “I love you. I love you so, so much. But you're destroying me. I can’t stay here anymore.”
A tear slips down your cheek. You don’t notice it until Drift gently brushes it away.
“I have to go.” Your voice breaks. “I need to leave. I hope you’ll learn why. And I hope you won’t hate me for it. I-I don’t think I could handle it if you did. Please don’t hate me. Please don’t think I hated you.”
Drift coos. His reply is indecipherable. You think he’s trying to comfort you…but you’ll never know for sure.
Tumblr media
He doesn’t swallow you tonight. You don’t know why; maybe he thinks you need a break. Maybe he just wants to hold you in a different fashion this time. You stay awake hours after he falls asleep, your little form nestled in the crook of his neck while he snoozes on his stomach with his arms crossed beneath his massive pillow. You peer off into the darkness, listening to his quiet breaths.
For the longest time, you’ve thought of this room as yours and his. A space the two of you share together. Ours. It's fed into your delusional ideations of a future in which the two of you learn each other’s languages, where you stand on equal ground, you belonging to him and him belonging to you. A future where mechs and humans join hands and say “I see you. I know you. I understand you and you understand me. Neither of us is higher than the other.”
But it will never happen. The collar around your neck is physical proof. There is no future between the two of you anymore. If you want to be you again…you need to let Drift go.
You shuffle away from the bot’s neck and stand. The only parts of him that are lit up right now are the red symbol on his chest and the soft blue of his mouth. He’s so peaceful. This giant alien, who you know has fought in many battles from the scars you can see, is soothed by your presence. You, an insignificant little human being. The dynamic is honestly quite hilarious. You're like his very own version of a chihuahua.
You want to hug his nose, knowing you will never have another chance again. But Drift is a light sleeper, and you're testing the waters enough already. You can’t risk it. It pains you, but you drop your arms and turn away.
Using the metal ladder he made for you so you’d have easy access to his berth, you climb down and grab your knapsack. Quietly padding across the long expanse of the room, you make it to the door. It senses your presence and slides open. You force yourself not to look back when you walk out.
You wonder if he will cry for you when he wakes up and finds you gone.
Tumblr media
The spaceship is ominous at night. The only thing you can hear as you traverse the hallways is your heartbeat pulsing in your ears. You're trying to be quiet; passing by multiple rooms with slumbering bots inside has you holding your breath and then letting it out in a forcefully slow, reedy wheeze. You are, after all, a mouse in a prison filled with cats; slow and steady and silent wins the race.
You survey the elevator when you get to it, at a loss of how you’ll possibly find a way to operate it due to how small you are. A miracle finds its way to you, however, in the form of a mech. This one you don’t recognize. He has a similar color scheme to Drift, but is noticeably bulkier, with a strange cannon sitting on his right shoulder and a blue eyepiece over the adjacent optic. All of his focus is on the datapad in his hands as he summons the elevator. You wait for the doors to open and for him to step inside before darting after him. Luckily he doesn’t look up fonce on the short journey. Your cover remains unblown when the doors part again and he heads off. You go in the opposite direction, because like hell are you going to follow the strange robot to someplace where there are probably more strange robots.
You slip in and out of sight, staying far away from any mechs who are awake. They do not see you, which means you are doing this right-though there are some alarming instances where you think you’ll be caught. One such occurrence happens when a tall, thin blue mech with a chest like the front of a helicopter nearly sees you duck into an open storage room for quick cover. Its single orb ominously scans the darkened room. You watch from beneath a large shelving unit, terrified out of your mind. You don’t move, nor do you make a sound, keeping a shaking hand over your mouth.
Finally, after what feels like hours, the mech stomps away. You let your head fall forward respitefully.
You know you're nearing your one-way ticket to Earth when you see bright yellow signs plastered on the walls with loud black alien words telling you to hurry left with the help of large arrows. Escape pod symbols, accompanied by a funny little robot mascot, are the giveaway. You feel a sort of giddy euphoria swell up within you. You're almost there. You're going to escape. You're going to go home. It all seems far too good to be true; sure, you’ve imagined this scenario happening over and over again, but you never really did believe it would happen.
You pinch your arm multiple times just to make sure you aren’t dreaming. This is not in your head. This is happening. You really are going back to Earth.
Your collar suddenly vibrates. And then it starts to screech.
You nearly jump out of your own skin. The alarm is loud, piercing, and undeniably going to alert someone to your presence. You slam your fists against it multiple times, but it doesn’t let up. Your heart sinks when the realization of what's going on hits.
Shit. He put a tracker in it.
You need to run. You shove yourself forward into a full-on sprint, dashing down the last remainder of this hallway, then turning the corner and seeing the numerous escape pods all lined up in the wall. You choose the first one, grabbing the edge of the circular door and pulling with all of your might. The tendons in your neck strain as you grunt and slowly bring the door back with you. Clamoring in, you give it one last heave before it shuts on its own and seals you inside. You hear the lock click into place. The entire cabin flickers to life, with the lights on and the control panel booting up. As you expected, everything is far too big for you to reach. But it seems you won’t need to. A loud robotic voice emanates from the central console, speaking to you in the native mech language.
Your collar is still going off. You don’t have a lot of time.
“I-I can’t understand you!” you yell over the din. “I’m a human, from Earth! I speak English!”
The voice pauses. Seconds later, to your amazement, it talks, and you can understand. “Language notifications made. Destination updated. Scanning…” A panel on the ceiling pops open, and a blue light filters out, washing over you. “Scanning complete. Species: Homo Sapien. Homeworld: Earth. Milky Way Galaxy. Status: Critically endangered. Suggesting immediate travel to Earth.”
You clap your hands. “Yes! Yes, that’s it! Earth, set the destination to Earth!”
“Destination set. Awaiting command to launch LOST LIGHT LIFEPOD 01.”
You are about to give the order when something slams against the door. You whirl around, your heart stuttering when you see who’s there. It’s Drift. He’s made it. And he looks horrified. With trembling fingers, he yanks on the handle. When the pod remains fastly shut, he pounds on the circular window with so much force the entire thing shudders and you think he’s going to rip it right off of its hinges. “Little one!” he screams, voice muffled beyond the barrier of glass. “Little one! Open…!” The rest of the sentence comes out as sharp metal shrieks.
You stand there helplessly. The pod once again inquires for your command, yet you can’t find it within yourself to speak.
Drift is doing everything he can to get to you. He’s like a rabid beast, clawing at the window, teeth bared in visible frustration. His biolights are going mad when he roars and sends his whole body into the door. This time, it does give a little. You can see some dents in the gray metal.
This…is a side of Drift you have never seen. It is desperate, vicious. And it terrifies you. You stumble back to the opposite end of the pod and curl up, hugging your knapsack to your chest like a child squeezing their favorite stuffed animal. Drift continues his futile attack on the door, but pauses when he makes eye contact with you. His face falls. His fists relax and slide downward to press palm against the glass.
He’s quiet as he seems to reflect on how he just presented himself front of you, then whispers heartbrokenly. “...Sorry.” Tears stream down his cheeks. His hot vexation melts away and exposes his remorseful center. “Sorry. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Little one. Y/N.”
  Oh my god.
All noise ceases when you register what he just said. Your name. He said your name. He’s never done that before. You didn’t think he knew your name.
He learned to say it. For you.
Drift whimpers like a kicked dog, moving to crouch lower. “Y/N. Y/N, please. Stay. Stay with me. Please don’t go. I love you.”
You’ve changed his life. You don’t need to be told this. You know you’ve brought him a sense of joy he hasn’t felt in years. You didn’t come here of your own free will. But you freely chose to love him. You gave yourself up and became his everything while he became yours. Isn’t he your home? Isn’t he the one who saved you? Can you really leave someone who cares about you so much?
Your legs move on their own accord. Your heart beats with his and you take tentative steps towards the door. Drift twitters and gives you an encouraging nod, gesturing for you to keep walking.
Why do you want to leave him so badly? Why would you want to throw away this perfect life?
Your little human hands come to rest right over his massive robotic ones. You two are separated, but you think you can feel the warmth coming from him. Drift bonks his forehead against the window anticipatingly. “Come on,” he whispers. “Come on. It’s…okay. You're okay. Please.”
Your hands are human. You will never see another pair again if you return to him.
Your life is not supposed to be perfect. A human’s life is messy, and disastrous, and chaotic, and beautiful. His life is too, but not in the same way as yours.
“Goodbye, Drift,” you murmur, voice breaking. “LOST LIGHT LIFEPOD 01…take me to Earth.”
The escape pods hums and rumbles. “Command accepted,” it announces. “Preparing ejection in three…two…one.”
The last thing you see and hear before the pod lurches forward and rockets out of its dock is Drift’s agonized expression and his wrenching wail.
Your vessel speeds away. You get a fantastic view of the ship in all of its stunning glory. It felt so gigantic when you were inside, but from out here, you can fully comprehend its overwhelming proportions. You watch it rapidly shrink as you gain distance from it, until it's just another speck of light in the universe. And when you can’t even see that anymore, you allow yourself to collapse against the floor eagles-spread. You gaze up at the ceiling, feeling surprisingly hollow. There is no victorious sense of triumph, no excitement to return home. You don’t even know where home is anymore. Somehow, after everything you’ve gone through, you’ve come out even more lost than you already were.
The waterworks start shortly after the escape pod jumps into hyperspace. Heaving sobs, messy tears, you lie there and weep to the stars, not noticing when your collar finally stops beeping.

Casey (Oc) x Chris ((HAPPY VORE DAY))
Summary: Peace. That’s all Chris ever wants. But of course, that stupid snake won’t allow it. Ever since she saved him from the cave, he’s been constantly eating her multiple time, thinking she’ll reveal him to the world, which she’s never gonna do since no one will believe her. She still remembers the day she met him, and the day he swallows her whole after she fucking saved his life still!
Warning: VORE
Chris has been trying to find a quiet place just to relax. Just to read a manga her friend recommended to read and wherever she tries to find a place to read it, it’ll either be too crowded, loud, and of course, now stormy bad weather. It turns out you couldn’t even relax in a forest either. She quickly put her manga back in her string bag while searching if she brought her umbrella just in case and it turned out she didn’t have one. “Shit. Come on.” She feels the sky begins to pour down fast as Chris feels the cold rain drops hit her. She quickly puts on her hoodie on her head and begins to go back home. Yet, it seems like the small creek Chris usually crosses with the help of the steppingstones seems overflooded.
She groans and goes back to the forest to find at least some shelter. She walks deeper into the forest until she finds a huge cave chamber. “Looks like a safe place to stay just until the rain stops.” She goes at a safe distance from the cave entrance and the deeper part of the cave so that she doesn’t get lost or something that’ll happen in several horror movies. Chris sits down against a stone and took out her manga again and starts reading it while hopping the storm doesn’t get too serious. “Had to be that day where my phone runs out of battery too. Would be very simple to call someone to pick me up.” She groans.
After staying in the cave for several minutes, it looked like the storm isn’t gonna go away anytime soon. She hopes she doesn’t have to stay in this cave anytime soon since it’s giving her some eerie feeling.
“help.” A soft moaning cry for help came from the further dep of the cave. Chris quickly puts her manga back in her bag and listens carefully, perhaps maybe she imagined it. “someone…please, help.” She wasn’t imagining it, someone’s down there. With no way of contacting anyone, there’s a chance that person won’t make it out alive even if she just waits out the storm to get help, Chris is gonna have to go in to help them. She takes out her small flashlight from her bag and turns it on before heading in deeper into the cave.
Chris stays completely silent, trying to follow the stranger’s voice so that she could maybe help them. She hears them calling out for help again and continues to follow their sound. Wherever they are, they’re deep in the cave that it’s almost like she could get lost in there if she didn’t have her flashlight on or if it died. She continues walking until she noticed the person stopped calling for help.
“Hello? Anyone here?” Chris calls out for them, hoping they have heard her. She moves onward before nearly falling into some pit, but luckily, she takes several steps back. “Woah, please don’t tell me you’re in there.” She says very worriedly until she hears the person resume their call for help to her right. “Oh, thank god.” She sighs in relief and follows that voice until it leads her to strange ruins as there were several holes way high up in the ceiling, allowing several raindrops in the ruins as they splash to the ground. She gasps in awe as she looks around, this cave has a hidden ruin. Chris cuts off her flashlight to save some battery just in case since the light in the ceilings will be enough for her to see. Maybe that call for help was an explorer, and they found this place before something happened to them. Chris must find them quickly before it’s too late.
“please…I don’t want to die…somebody…please.” The person continues to say as she guesses they sounded like a male. Because of the far distances earlier, she couldn’t tell what they sounded like until she has gotten closer. “help.” They sounded a lot closer now.
“Hello?” Chris ends up walking into a large scary temple room that looks like it’s meant to bring human sacrifices here for their death. A ceiling above shows a hole where rain splashes down on the exact spot where the sacrifices meet their end. What’s even more disturbing are the chains on the ground that’ll make sure no one can escape from their fate. “What the hell?” She walks toward the chains before picking them up as it looks like these things were used during ancient times.
As Chris continues inspecting them, she was unaware of a huge black figure with chains around its body, one on its neck and the other two around its arms, above her as it slowly slithers down behind her before coming towards her. As it comes closer to whatever it is about to do to her, luck was on her side when its chains made a clinking sound on the ground. This causes Chris to stop what she was doing as she drops the object and turns around to see a giant black serpent with wings and arms. She stares at it in shock as it smirks down at her.
“help.” It says and Chris recognized it immediately. It’s, no, his voice sounded exactly like the one she was trying to follow! The serpent chuckles darkly. “I thought I never get a chance to eat a human again~” He strikes at Chris, but she dodges it away just in time away from his jaws as she lands on the ground. She quickly gets up and starts running out of the temple with the serpent laughing before he starts chasing her. “Hey now. There’s no need to run away, little morsel. You know you can’t escape from me~” He taunts her. Chris didn’t look back as she kept running. She didn’t care if she gets lost, she just needs to stay away from that giant snake.
When Chris reaches the ruins, she hears a huge sound of wings flapping. She looks up to the source of sound and screams before dodging away from the serpent’s hand when he tries to grab her. “Leave me alone!” She shouted at him as the snake drops to the ground and continues to slither after her. She looks straight ahead, not daring to look back and just focusing on getting out of the cave and surviving. If he keeps trying to grab her while she continues to avoid them, she’ll soon get tired and end up being his first meal of the day.
She reaches the darkest point of the cave and remembers there’s a huge pit nearby. She quickly cuts on her flashlight to see which way she was going. There were many tunnels she couldn’t stop to think which path is which, one of them could lead her to a dead end or just fall to her death. Chris ends up running into another tunnel where the serpent could get in, so he puts his hand in as he tries to reach for her, yet Chris was far away from it as he pulls it away.
This is a good sign for Chris because if she learns anything about snakes, they can only see in the dark because of their protein channels/heat vision like Predator. She may have lost him, but he’ll find her soon if she isn’t careful. She shines her light on each path she takes while hoping she doesn’t cross paths with the giant serpent. When Chris walks into another tunnel, she hears a hissing sound ahead of her before the two giant blue stares into hers. She screams and runs back to where she came from, concentrating on her only goal to find the exit and escape from her.
“Isn’t it sad that you think you can escape from me?” It taunts her before he slithers after her. “It’s easier to just give up now. I’ll give you a fast and simple death.” He laughs as Chris nearly trips on her foot before her light shines down at the huge pit she’s been trying to stay away from. Just before she tries to find another way out, a huge hand grabs her as the serpent didn’t hesitate to move his slithering body to slide across the rubbles. “Glade you came to your sensi-AHHH!” But he was slithering too fast, he didn’t see the pit that was in front of Chris. The ledge couldn’t hold his full weight, causing the cliff to break apart, forcing her and himself to fall into the deep pit as they scream.
The giant serpent started trying to fly as he carries Chris, but a huge boulder slams into one of his wings, causing him to yell in pain as the boulder seems to bring them to fall faster into the pit than ever. Chris has no other choice but to hold onto him as they fall to their death.
________________________________________________________________
Chris groans as she slowly wakes up, only to see her flashlight still on as it shines directly at her. She gets up, feeling some parts of her body damaged, but not too serious. She picks up her flashlight and signs it straight forward, only to scream when a huge mouth was about to snatch her up in one gulp, but she manages to avoid it before colliding with a scaly body as it slowly starts to move. She moves away from them as she hears the serpent trying to move his body, but he couldn’t.
Chris breaths in heavily as she presses herself against the cave wall as the serpent glares at her. “…Why are you glaring at me for!?” Chris shouts at him. “You’re the one who fucking got us into this!”
“Oh really?” He said. “I asked nicely for you to just give up and let me eat you the easy way!” He tries to reach for her, but due to the boulder on his left wing, he can’t do anything about it nor reach for her. “I even called for help, for fuck sake!”
“Yeah, only to lure people like me so that you could swallow them hole!” The serpent chuckles.
“Yes, I did do that. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anyone to enter this cave.” He said. “You’re the first human who ever found this my place for months and went down to help me. I’ve been trying to find my way out of this dump after eating my last…morsel…Say, what year is this?”
“…How old are you?”
“That doesn’t answer my question, morsel.”
“Fine. It’s 20xx.” The serpent’s eyes went wide open before looking at the ground in disbelief.
“That…That can’t be. Surely it hasn’t been that long…Nonono! NONONONOOOO!!!!” He shouts, causing Chris to cover her ears from his outburst. “I have been sleeping for centuries, woke up to find nothing but darkness around me! No wonder they stopped worshipping me, no wonder I couldn’t find my way out of this damn place!! They drugged me with the last morsel they served to me so they could seal my tomb so that I couldn’t leash my wrath on their pathetic life!! Do they think they could just stop serving their kind to me? I bring death and chaos to their palaces and their souls! I’ve killed their leaders, I’ve destroyed their homes, I have shown them everything why they must fear me, and yet they-! Where the hell do you think you’re going!!” While he was talking, Chris was slowly backing away from him before finding a small path she could perhaps squeeze in between to look for a way out.
“Away from you! No wonder people stop worshipping you for millions of years or something!” Chris calls him out till she eventually made it out of the two walls before cutting on her flashlight. “Hell, even if you managed to escape, we created powerful weapons that could kill you in seconds once I bring more people down here!” Chris said.
“No. No, you mortals can’t create weapons! I have seen all kinds of-”
“Time has changed, give it up to reality.” She tells him as she starts looking for a way out. There isn’t one unless she wants to rock climb her way out of here. So, she went in another way.
“…Y-You wouldn’t really rat me out, right?” He says in a soft worried tone.
“Bru, you fucking tried to eat me! Of course, I’m gonna rat you out!” She tells him before hitting another dead end.
“You can’t! If they kill me, so help me, I will forever haunt you in your nightmare for the rest of your life.” He threatened her, but he lied about the nightmare part.
“Go ahead! I’m willing to take that to my grave!” She calls out until she hits a familiar scaly surface. The serpent turns his attention when he felt something touch his tail to see her. Before Chris gets a head start to run away, the serpent blocks her path with his tail before wrapping her around quickly, throws her in the air, and then catches her in his grasp and brings her towards his face. Chris begins to struggle to be let go, but he wraps his thump on her waist and held her still. With no other choice, she must hang onto his fingers in case he decides to drop her from this huge height. He glares at her for a moment before he slithers his tongue out to lick her face. “Gross! Stop it, you sick snake!” She shouts at him. At least he did stop before he smirks at her in an uneasy friendly way.
“Why don’t we start all over?” He said in an eerie friendly tone.
“Yeah, hard pa-!” Chris was given no choice when he licks her face again. “Alright! Alright! Alright!” She yells at him as she pushes his tongue away with one of her hands since she’s still holding onto her flashlight.
“Good.” He says. “My name is Casey, and you are?” He asks and pets Chris’s hair with his finger, getting on her nerves.
“Chris.”
“Nice to meet you, Chris.” He smiles. “Now, we both know will both how this will probably end for us if I eat you or if you keep avoiding me for months with no food or water as you desperately try to find your out of here, but sadly your only option is climbing which I’m pretty sure you’ll fall to your death. I’ll remain trapped down here with no possible chance of escaping until I go insane.” He tells her. “So, instead of those options, what if we help each other?”
“Help each other? No way. As soon as I help you, you’ll double fucking cross me!”
“I won’t! I swear to my ancestors that I won’t eat you.”
“Liar.” Chris simply says.
“I’m fucking telling you, I won’t! If you help me out and take me to the entrance of the cave and don’t tell anyone about me so that they wouldn’t kill me, I won’t kill you.” He tells her.
“…Fine, but don’t even think about starting to destroy my home. You better swear on your agreement. Cause if you do eat me, you better hope I don’t give you indigestion.”
“Great. Now, before I let you go.” He said and gently pinches Chris’s open hand and gives her a tiny cut on it, causing her to hiss in pain.
“What are you doing!?”
“What? I’m just wanna quick taste of your blood real quick cause you’re the first morsel I’m gonna spare instead of eating you, and I don’t want myself to think over what your blood could have tasted.” He said as he pulls her closer to his mouth before putting her hand in his mouth. Chris screams in protest and tries to pull it away as she felt him licking and sucking her cut injury hand until he pulls it out with a pop as he smacks his lips. “I must say, I really wish I have gotten a chance to eat you~.” He gently puts her down as Chris wipes his saliva off her hand and a little on her arm.
It took Chris a while to find what she could use to help him until she spotted a huge rock she could perhaps push. The way it’s steady, it looks like it can roll into Casey’s direction and pushes the boulder off his wing. “This could work.” She walks back to Casey to see him waiting patiently for her.
“Any luck?” He asks her.
“There’s gonna be a huge rock heading your way once I push it down. So be prepared for it. Once the boulder rolls off, take your chance to move your wings away.” Chris tells him. He nodded as he watches Chris leaves and wait. The sooner the boulder is off his wing, the sooner he could get out of here. “Alright, here it comes!” Chris shouted out before she pushes the rock as it began to roll down. Chris quickly races back down to watch it just in case something goes wrong. The rock finally arrives and hit’s the boulder in full force.
Casey reacts fast and moved his wing away once he felt the pressure left up, snatching Chris up in his grasp before he starts flying out of the pit. “Use your weird torch light!” He meant the flashlight. Chris understood what he wants her to do as she signs it up to see the ceiling ahead of them.
“Stop!” She shouts. Causing him to stop before he makes an impact with the ceiling wall. She signs the flashlight forward to look around for the path she came from and spotted the tunnel. “Go left.”
After a few turns from left to right, Chris and Casey hear something coming up ahead of them. Chris recognizes that sound but was disappointed it was still raining. As Casey continues to slither out of the cave, he was met with raindrops hitting his scales. He was spooked for a second before he fully comes out of the cave to feel the rain as Chris quickly puts on her hoodie. She watches him smile a bit as he raises his other hand to feel them hitting his palm. After a few seconds of him awing the outside, Chris begins to try to get out of his grasp and be let go so that she could be far away from Casey, but his grip is strong. With no other choices, she has to speak up.
“Hey, snake.” She calls for him, turning his attention to her. “I brought you out. So, you can let go of me now.”
“And you swear not to rat me out, right?” He asks her.
“Of course, I won’t. Not like anyone is gonna believe me anyway without proof. You can just continue living in the forest and eat animals here, there’s a lot of them.”
“Hmm, true.” He agrees before he smirks at her. “But I’d rather enjoy eating you~.” He raises her above his head and opens his mouth wide before letting her go, but Chris’s bag was luckily caught on one of his nails. She quickly hangs onto it while her poor flashlight falls into his mouth as he quickly swallows it.
“Hey! What the hell! We made a deal!” Chris yells at him as Casey starts to wiggle his nail from left to right, hoping it’ll make her fall.
“Yeah, but did you really think I was going to let you go? You tasted wonderful, morsel. So, be a good little snack, and let me devour you.” He lowers her into his mouth till he feels her body touches his tongue. Chris screams when he slowly closes his mouth around her before pulling her bag away from his lips, forcing Chris to let go of her only chance of escaping.
“Nonono. Let me out of here!” She yells before Casey begins to swirl her around in his mouth. She hears him starting to moan from the back of his throat as he licks and tastes every inch of her body. She couldn’t believe this is happening to her. She should have known better that he was going to backstab her.
Casey rolled her around as he plays with his little morsel until he starts feeling quite hungry, but he doesn’t want his first ever food to end just yet. Chris feels him slowly lifting his tongue off her before opening his mouth. Chris didn’t hesitate and tried to leave his mouth, but Casey quickly shuts his mouth as he felt Chris trying to pry it open. He chuckles before he wraps his tongue around her leg and forces her to land in the middle of his mouth.
“You know, the more you try to escape,” He opens his mouth slowly before quickly revealing his sharp fangs from the roof of his mouth. “I wouldn’t hesitate to paralysis you.” Chris stayed frozen in her spot as she watches his fangs begin to drip some red type of venom out of it. They could pierce through her whole in a second and feel her in tremendous pain for who knows how long. One bite is all it takes for him to kill her slowly and painfully. “And we wouldn’t want that, would we Chris~?”
“Y-Yeah.” Chris shutters her answer.
“Wonderful.” He closes his mouth again before Chris feels his tongue starting to push her back towards his throat.
“W-Wait! Wait!” Chris screams out. “Please, Casey! Can’t we work something out instead?! You swear on your ancestor you won’t eat me!” Chris tries to back away from his throat as she felt her feet getting close to it before looking up.
“Yeah, like my ancestors are listening to my deal with you is gonna stop me.” He says and swallows. He sighs before he felt something in the back of his mouth. It didn’t take him long to realize his morsel didn’t go down to where she belonged. “Are you kidding me?”
“Spit me out right now!” Chris cries out while she hangs onto his uvula. “There’s no need to just eat me! I could bring you some food! Something better than human flesh!” She feels him trying to swallow her down again, only for her to hold on tight as she listened to him making terrifying gulping sounds.
“I’m sure you morsels still have those plain grapes, cows, and pigs or whatever you have. I’m not in a mood for those.” He says before he tries to swallow her again. Chris hangs on for dear life until her legs caught in his throat. Chris screams as she kept trying to hang on with all her might from going deeper until eventually, Casey swallows one last time as he traces his finger down on her throat to feel her struggle. He sighs in relief before yawning. “Well, it’s nice getting some fresh air, but I believe I better get some sleep before I find your town. You should be lucky not to witness or hear any of that. Cause I don’t take that long to digest my meal, you’ll be dead in several hours, so enjoy your last moment in there.” He says as he slithers back to the cave, but only in the cave entrance cause, he does not wanna get lost there again. He looks back at the bag he still has in his hand before chuckling and placing it down right beside him before he sees some book falls out. Curious, he reads a few pages of them as he coils himself around until he falls asleep.
Chris tries to grab anything that could stop her from reaching her final destination, but nothing works as she continues to slide down his gullet until she arrives in a small area where a bright light shines on her. She was dropped to the floor to feel wet flesh. Without hesitation, she grabs it and shines it around to see she’s in his stomach. She’s in a giant snake stomach. It was a bit small with not a lot of space, and the only comfortable position best for her is to lie down.
There was nothing Chris can do but wait for her death. Going inside a cave to rescue someone, finding out it was a trap to get eaten, escaping from it only to fall into a pit with it, made a deal with him if they both help each other, escape the cave, only to be eaten alive after he backstabs her!! She sighs in defeat before resting her head against Casey’s stomach flesh walls as she slowly closes her eyes and waited to either fall asleep or die peacefully.

Chris was softly snoring as she sleeps before being woken up by something squeezing or moving her around. She looks around to see she’s still in Casey’s stomach as the stomach flesh was moving rapidly for some reason. Suddenly, the entrance to the stomach opens up as Chris was pushed upward hard. She stayed still as she hears Casey coughing up from above before she arrives at his mouth. She felt his tongue moves her around for a second before she was spat out into Casey’s hand. She groans as she tries to focus on what the hell is going on before Casey spits out another object it turns out to be her flashlight as it hits her head.
“Ow! What the hell!?” Even though Chris somehow cheated death, that hit still hurts her.
“Oh, shut up, would you?” He glares at her. “You better be lucky I spared you because apparently, my ancestors did listen to me swearing to them that I wouldn’t eat you.”
“What?”
“Yeah. They decided to come to visit me in my nightmare last night until I fully agree to listen to them.”
“Wait, I was in your stomach the whole night!?” Chris shouted. “How am I not dead!?”
“Guess when you swore on your dead family it’s fucking serious. They made sure if I ever tried to eat you, my stomach will not digest you. You will just remain trapped in there for several hours until I’m forced to spit you out.” He grumbles. “So yeah, you get to fucking li-”
“Great! Then you can now let me g-” Chris was cut off when he hisses at her while showing his fangs. That made her shut up and stayed where she was.
“That’s, what I can’t agree on.” He says. “I’ll let you live, but that doesn’t mean I get to eat you again over and over.” He smirks as he brought her up. Chris tries to back away, but his fingers block her path as he moves his mouth closer to her body before he smells her softly with his tongue to capture her scent with a little teasing lick. “Tasting your flavor, and your blood, how could I ever give that opportunity up~.” He said teasingly.
“Oh no! Hell no! I’m not spending the rest of my life staying with you, only to swallow me whole every time you’re hungry!” Chris pushes his mouth away from him.
“Oh no. I’m not that kind of monster. You’d still get to leave because I have your scent now.” He tells her. “I still don’t trust your part of the agreement. You’ll soon try to get proof of my existence and find a way to kill me. To make sure you wouldn’t forget your part of the deal, I wouldn’t mind coming over to your home occasionally. And to make it fair, you should also do the same and visit me too.”
“You can’t be fucking serious.”
“Dead serious, because neither of us doesn’t have a choice.” He said before he lowers her to the floor as Chris quickly jumps off his hand. “Oh yeah, if either of us visits each other,” He quickly searches the cave for a second before finding Chris’s bag. He slithers back to her and hands it back. “Be sure to have more of that painting book you have.”
“…You mean the manga?”
“Yeah, whatever you just said.” He smiles.
Epilogue
Chris is sleeping in her bed as she tosses and turns to get into a comfortable position. No matter what, nothing seems to work. While she continues having her eyes closed, she didn’t hear someone sliding her bedroom balcony door as something begins to slither into her room. When Chris finds a comfortable position, which she thinks might work, she started to feel something around her waist. Smooth and scaly. …Oh no. Chris screams when she feels herself rip away from her bed and was brought outside to be lifted to see Casey smirking face as he coils his tail around her.
“Casey! What the fuck! Again!?” Chris shouted/whispered cause she doesn’t want any of her neighbors to hear her shouting or to see a giant snake with wings and arms holding her hostage as it lays on top of her home. This has been going on for months and nobody seems to notice.
“What~? I got a little hungry and was hopping my little snack wouldn’t mind me eating her tonight.”
“Of course, she would mind!” Chris was given no choice as Casey lifts her to his mouth. “Casey!” He places her in his mouth before he slid his tail out, leaving Chris inside as she begins to trash around, trying to get out of his mouth.
“Come now, Chris~, be grateful you have a place to sleep in. But before that,” He rolled his tongue around to keep bothering her before he flies away from her home. I just clean my clothes today! Chris groans as she feels his saliva coating her sleeve top and shorts wet. “Hope you don’t mind me using you as a suckers~. I wish they made a large size though.”
