so i just finished watching romantic killer and like - i get it, forcing a girl who's not interested in romance into an otome game setting is not exactly the most progressive thing but honestly - by the end of episode 6 i was just rooting for everyone because they were all someone who needed a friend like anzu in their lives! and i think rather than treating this show as a reverse harem, it's really about that good ol' power of friendship.

it's anzu believing in kazuki and saki when they were assaulted by people who couldn't take no for an answer; it's anzu speaking up for junta when ryuya was being petty; it's koganei using his relations to put a stop to a stalker who hurt his commoner friends; it's riri stepping in and wiping said stalkers' memories so she could never hurt anzu and kazuki again.

yes, the basic premise of the show is questionable but the way the story panned out was way better than i imagined. anzu still genuinely wants to befriend these boys in her life and even though our ikemen are slowly falling in love with her, they are entirely wholesome and honest about it without any negative feelings.

if you're going into this show expecting it to be an overhaul of the romance/reverse harem genre i will tell you to adjust your expectations; but i think i also walked away with a v enjoyable experience having very little to expect from it (like srsly i was just here for umehara yuuichirou).

#what if everyone in the harem were bffs instead of fighting over the mc?#romantic killer #just as a response to a few angry reviews i've seen on the show #which i totally get #this show ignores ace people and women who just don't wanna date #but i think it's also worth giving it a chance because it does such a great job of expanding the reverse harem genre #also tsudaken as a stoic but cute bodyguard who's also had his license suspended once is 🥰🥰🥰#best of vrai

between jay marble hornets and jon magnus archives I think a lot of people really do just take offense to characters in horror movies being People and not action heroes

paranoia and fear are considered character flaws (stupidity or cowardice or a lack of humanity). they're supposed to strong enough to survive but anything they do for survival has to be Socially Acceptable.

you can't have a horror protagonist be Smart without also being paranoid, otherwise it's not good horror. asking a character to always make the right decisions and always know when they're in danger but Also holding them accountable when they're distrustful of the characters that You know are safe is silly.

sometimes not being crazy murdered means doing a little stalking. wanting to live when you know For Sure that there's someone (or something) out there that is completely willing to kill you means choosing Survival over social convention

does anybody know any movie/show with reverse-fridging? like with a woman protagonist motivated by the tragic death of her husband and/or son ten minutes into the plot? xD I'm rewatching old stuff like The Mask of Zorro (great movie tbh) but it's making me think lololol (specifically looking for a female character motivated by the death of a loved male token character, to see how it's handled)

Okay, so my two favourite artists would probably be Linkin Park and BTS, for very similar close-to-my-heart reasons. And since they are WILDLY different sound-wise, I will give you two different fruit salads hehehe

First, the fruits!

Orange 🍊 -> obvious choice, zesty and sweet, brings everyone together with its juice; a refreshing favourite

Apple 🍎 -> solid, classic, reliable ; probably an oldie throwback

Mango 🥭 -> smooth, sexy lady with a groove; perhaps slightly unexpected

Strawberry 🍓 -> tangy, slightly acidic; a bittersweet one

Grapes 🍇 -> underrated bops bursting with flavour once you give them a try; a fun one

Melon 🍈 -> my favourite fruit so my personal favourite

Now for the salads:

Linkin Park Fruit Salad:

🍊 In The End - the song that gets everyone turned up, she's the mainstream queen for a reason!!

🍎 Numb - had to get this one here as well because, really, you can't leave it out

🥭 Lost In The Echo - Living Things is a very important album to me (and my second favourite from them), and I do NOT see enough conversation about it. Lost In The Echo is a fenomenal song, and probably one of my favourite Chester x Mike moments

🍓 The Messenger - just typing the name of this song got the water fountains going. "When life leaves us blind, love keeps us kind" is a lyric that I will carry with me until the day I die

🍇 In Between - for the sake of "underrated" I purposely chose something from after the first 2 albums. In Between is criminally underrated imo, which is a shame since it's such a sweet song sung by Mike (which is rare since he hardly ever gets a solo song). Bonus underrated AND fun - When They Come For Me

🍈 Breaking The Habit - I could go on and on about why I love this song so so much, but I don't want to get sad. 13 yo me made it this far thanks to her 💙

BTS Fruit Salad:

🍊 Fire - THE hype song ever, it's physically impossible to be sad listening to her, helloooo 🔥 🔥

🍎 Spring Day - the fan favourite, of course I had to get her in here. Queen of the charts

🥭 Autumn Leaves & Home - this is my salad so I'll put extra mango if I want. Both of these are SO sexy in their own way, and since they're pretty far apart it'd only be fair to get them both in here

🍓 We Are Bulletproof : The Eternal - at first I thought about either 2! 3! or Young Forever, but We Are Bulletproof holds such a special, heavy meaning, considering the time it was released, and the overall theme of the album. I can't really listen to it without getting all choked up 🥺

🍇 Hip-Hop Lover & We On - putting 2 songs again because I can. These are VERY old BTS songs, and still remain some of my favourites. It's a shame so many newer fans outright refuse to listen to their older, not-so-polished stuff, cus it's fantastic really

🍈 Run - my mostest absolute Bangtan favourite, she's beauty, she's grace, she's so fun and devastating and aaaaaaa. AMAZING era that was, superior mv, just overall wowowowow

one of the reasons i can't be a hater on here is bc im always real worried it's gonna turn into a moralizing thing and i want it to be so so so clear. i don't hate things bc i think they're immoral or whatever. a lot of times i don't even hate things cuz they're bad in any objective sense. i just hate fun and love existentialism and shit that makes me stare at a wall for four hours. I don't hate comedies bc they're low brow entertainment i hate them bc they take so long to be funny and I'm not a particularly humorous person to begin with. if i wanna laugh I'll go watch a man fuck up playing mario kart for 10 minutes.

Basically- I know you've explained the reason Maikol fainted was because of the amount of remnant he just got at one point, but it feels like the future Maikol just took control over him, past bully Maikol is not even like present of something. So I was like- send past Maikol into his future body. IMAGINE BULLY MAIKOL AS THE FRIENDLY GLAMROCK FREDDY. And what would be his goal? Just to learn how to be friendly by being in Freddy's body? NAWWHHH, PULL THE RUIN DLC GIRL AND LET FREDDY BE HER GUIDE. PAST BULLY MAIKOL LEARNING HOW TO BE GOOD TOWARDS KIDS.

Just to clarify -w- it’s not that he disappeared he’s still there but more comfortable acting like Freddy rather than Michael Afton who had so much bad luck and makes so many bad decisions σ(^_^;) I know I’ve actually had asks mentioning this before tho ^^ a mind swap sorta situation where Michael is in GR Freddy’s body in the future ;v;) he would definitely get along with Roxy since she also acts like a moody teen -w- actually he’d get along with all the Glamrocks. It sounds like a nice AU just not something I’d really draw on my end ^^)b but I know a couple of people before also mentioned something like it because they think I killed teen Michael’s consciousness or something, I did not ฅ(≚ᄌ≚)
