So Andre has millions of Instagram followers, Marie is Black starlight, Emma is little cricket, and Jordan is a bi-gender icon who has been #2 for years, but somehow these were the best scapegoats for the schools massacre. Without even mentioning the fact that Sam is publicly know to be dead and Cate was crazy goldenboy’s girlfriend, those two both hate humans and tried to kill the Vought board. Why is Vought now protecting them? It doesn’t make sense to vilify popular The Seven hopefuls to protect those two. throughout the episode we see them all find out new things about their powers like Marie took a laser to the chest and popped cates arm (girl asked for it), emma growing smaller without having to throw up, andre finding out his powers are hurting him and cate finding out how much she can push. like i cannot wait to see them all find out the full potential of their powers.

Jordan is lying upside down on your bed, lanky legs spread across your sheets with their socked feet resting next to you. You’re sat cross legged, laptop in your lap as you type furiously. You halt typing for a second and jordan’s head pops up.
“Are you done now?” they ask hopefully. Their hair is pushed messily to one side, a chain necklace dangling over their chin due to their positioning.
You roll your eyes, not taking them away from the screen. this earns a groan from Jordan.
“Baby please, if you don’t pay attention to me soon, I might die,” they say dramatically, illustrating their point with wild hand motions.
Jordan throws an incredulous look at you as you try and fail to stifle a laugh.
“I’m serious! the bloods rushing to my head, I could have minutes left”.
When you don’t stir, they sit up properly and shuffle around so they’re facing the opposite direction. You glance up to see them shrugging off their jacket, their toned arms and back coming in to view. The feeling of your cheeks heating up at the sight makes you embarrassed.
You found anything jordan did attractive whether it was in their masculine or feminine form and this was no exception. something so simple and yet you couldn’t look away.
“If you want me so badly, you just have to ask,” Jordan calls, turning to face you now with a cheeky grin.
You had blinked and a once feminine Jordan was now in their male form, dimples and all. It filled you with joy that they felt comfortable to change whenever they liked around you, you loved them either way.
“Full of yourself much?” you ask, however your actions contradict your chiding tone. You push the laptop off your lap now, leaning forward to crawl over to them, closing the space between you.
The way you’re perched, you now sit taller than jordan on the bed and they look up at you with big doe eyes, a small smirk playing on their lips. You lean down slowly and give them a soft kiss, cupping their cheek with your hand. Jordan melts into you, one hand reaching up to place hold you by your nape. You could feel their fingers graze your hair lightly as they kissed you.

But then Jordan gets their misconceptions about her torn down one after the other, and they see that Marie isn’t just a perfect “good” girl who lives by doing things to others expectations.
Jordan sees that Marie lives by doing what’s right.
Anything she does that really counts comes from a place of wanting to do the right thing. Marie is righteous.
And maybe for the first time since her parents were alive, Marie has someone who sees her.
And Jordan sees her not for what horrible things she’s capable of doing because of her abilities— but for what good can come of them.
For once, she can be a healer, she can be a defender. She can be a hero.

the crux of jordans arc being them wanting to be a hero and when they got their powers and suddenly were faced with all this discrimination and shit piled on top of them that made proving how strong they were a near impossible feat to do admirably. so they had to start having their own back and looking out for just them. accepting being a TA as a form of being superior when it was just a manipulation tatic from the dean to have them under his thumb to do EVIL. and THEN to have marie show up and do the exact same thing they'd been doing for years now, putting herself first because no one else would, and because that had a negative impact on jordan they can suddenly see what a hypocrite they've been. and THEN to have marie tell the truth in episode four with no angle to it, just because it was the right thing to do. suddenly jordan remembers what their initial goal was, how they wanted to do the right thing too once. be the hero. and maybe their anger towards marie stemmed from the envy that she so loudly wants to be what jordan failed at being. but maybe they could try again. because now they're not putting themselves first. now they want to put marie first, protect her from the line of fire, be a hero to a hero. and yeah, maybe the owe marie alot for reminding them of who they want to be, but they owe it to themselves most of all to not let anyone elses ideals change who they are.

Right, well, fucking hell guys lmaooo.
Cate & Sam becoming radicalised makes the most sense. Out of the whole group, they are the two that have been the most manipulated and abused by humans so I don't necessarily fault them, I just hope they don't take it too far. The relationship between Shetty and Cate was heartbreaking to watch play out, because underneath all the manipulation there were genuine feelings and love for each-other there. That moment when Cate called Shetty 'Indira' I actually got chills. Personally, Cate & Sam becoming anti-heroes to the group is very interesting.
Marie & Jordan. I feel like... their scenes together were really cute, and the way Marie went after Jordan when he was pissed, and then they had that half-hearted standoff before Jordan started laughing and kissed her, gave a great insight into their whole relationship dynamic and had me giggling. I also loved their detective scenes. BUT it's frustrating that they haven't had an opportunity to talk about their feelings for each-other, or even acknowledge everything that's happened between them. I mean, I also get that a lot of things are happening and so maybe there just hasn't been the chance for them to talk it out - which, again, I guess is sort of realistic - I just think that you can't ask an audience to fully root for a couple when you don't show the moments that it takes for them to become a them if you get what I mean. I still 10000% love & root for them; they are still my main draw, and Jaz, Derek & London sell those scenes. But I need more...
I feel so bad for Marie. The way she had to relive that trauma of her mother dying and being unable to help. Jaz really acted out in the scene where she was literally begging Cate to be able to help Shetty. That was the only part where I kinda thought Cate was wrong; because out of everyone Marie was the person who was most open to giving her another chance, and then she goes and betrays her like that.
I also liked the dynamic between Neuman and Marie (I wonder if she is the one who is Marie's benefactor) but I'm not putting my trust in her because there's something about her that's kinda suspect. I will say that I liked how she handled Dr Cardosa; I cannot truly believe that he actually thought he was going to walk away from that encounter alive... like c'mon now. I wonder if Neuman will get rid of the virus though or keep it somewhere else???
I expected Shetty and Dr Cardosa to die but I didn't think it would happen in the penultimate episode. Which means that the finale is gonna go even more crazy, and I have strong suspicions that someone else from the main group is gonna die or be locked up. Regardless of what happens though, the dynamics are seriously about to be changed which is quite exciting.
I also dont know how our main gang can go back to that school knowing that it's whole foundation is false, and that they're actually test subjects. It feels like either way they can't win; either they drop out of the school and go the independent route in regards crime fighting, or they continue knowing that it's all a farce and every step that they take is orchestrated.
