Dictator Vladimir Putin probably hates this film which Alexei Navalny made about his greed and corruption. That's the best reason to watch it!

Much of the documentary focuses on what we call the Putin Palace – Vlad's opulent crib on the Black Sea near Gelendzhik. The Putin Palace makes Saltburn look like a cheesy AirBnB. The Putin Palace is said to be the largest single residence in Russia.

Speaking of Saltburn, this is even longer than that film. So make sure there's plenty of popcorn on hand. 🍿

Since it's probably banned in Russia, look at ways of sending this vid to friends and family there which can get around digital censorship.

EDIT: Putin is as afraid of the dead Navalny as he was of the living Navalny.

Vova's tiger, Masha, that he had been given as a birthday present when he turned 56. The tiger spent several days at the Prime Minister’s residence and was then taken to a safari park in Gelendzhik.

I don't know about Lyudmilla, but I'd be trying to convince him to keep the tiger since I love cats. I'd be staying at his house watching over her with the help of someone else. Cats are the best thing in the world in my view.

La Roca Parus es un monolito de arenisca del cretácico superior, situado en la costa nororiental del Mar Negro, entre Dzhanjot y Praskovéyevka, cerca de la ciudad de Gelendzhik (Rusia). Alcanza una altura de 25 m, con una longitud de 20 m y poco más de 1 m de anchura. A 2.5 m de altura se halla una abertura de origen incierto. Algunas guías afirman que se debe al impacto de un proyectil de artillería durante la Guerra del Cáucaso.

Navalny defended the values of freedom, justice, and the rule of law that are important to all citizens.

During the last appeal hearing in court, Alexei Navalny noted that "injustice reigns in our country now, tens of millions want to know the truth about what is happening, and sooner or later they will realize the real state of affairs and the need for change”.

Despite the failure of this appeal, Navalny continued to believe that the citizens' desire for truth and justice would eventually prevail. He never lost hope that democratic values, legality and openness would prevail in the country.

Gennady Lopyrev is the second high-ranking military official to have mysteriously died in the last few days. The 69-year-old suddenly became ill on Monday while in jail – gasping for breath – and was told by doctors he had previously undiagnosed leukaemia. there are now suspicions the general, who worked in the president’s personal guard, was poisoned just as he became eligible for parole. In 2017, Lopyrev was sentenced to 10 years behind bars on charges of bribery in excess of six million rubles and illegal possession of weapons, which he denied. Serving in the Federal Protection Service [FSO], he personally oversaw the erection of Putin’s clifftop Gelendzhik Palace on the Black Sea coast. The mysterious property featured in a viral video by Alexei Navalny, which showed it to be full of luxuries gifted to the war despot by his cronies. The Kremlin critic had previously identified the general as the person who knew all the secrets behind the mansion. Lopyrev was also responsible for Putin’s official residence Bocharov Ruchei in Sochi. Up to his jailing he had been one of his closest security aides, and was seen with the Russian president and then British premier Tony Blair in Moscow in 2002. For years, his conviction was seen by some as based on trumped up charges to get him out of the way. After withdrawing from the grain deal, the Russian Federation announced that it will consider all vessels heading to Ukrainian seaports from 20 July to be potential carriers of military cargo...

P.S. Very good news: It is a perfectly logical and symmetrical response to the threat posed by the Russians. All ships of Russians as well as ships of countries and businessmen who support Russian war crimes, are perfectly legitimate targets in the Russian ports of Black Sea. Kremlin supporters and "useful fools" need to understand that complicity in war crimes deserves punishment and all of you will get it sooner or later…
