Can I say I’ve lost myself?
Or would it be too much for everyone at home?
Can I say I’ve turned on myself
For all the things I’ve done and everyone I’ve wronged?
What did you expect?
Hold me by the neck, I get too high
We started this for fun, now they acting like I won
I can see both sides
It’s hard to keep it low key when everyone’s your homie
I see the inside of a bottle when I’m lonely
Maybe I’m projecting, I’ll tell you what I don’t see
I’m looking for a friend where they used to be the old me

Great, now people are going to have another reason to attack us Lunaris fans who just want to see ourselves in him and want him to be redeemed and be LGBTQ representation. It’s hard enough as is. I respect her opinions, but I wish Sam King (former storyboarder) would understand how this hurts because what if people tell me Lunaris is straight because of this. Headcanoning Lunaris as gay is fine It’s literally implied in the show, and this is how I cope. He’s my comfort character I just wish other people could see that

Previously on DuckTales
Sorry I hadn’t gotten around to talking about these episodes yet, but I just got a day off today, so I want to make up for lost time before the season finale this Saturday, so let’s not dawdle any longer! We begin with an important question:
WHO IS GIZMODUCK?!
In this episode focusing on Fenton, his superhero identity Gizmoduck catches the attention of Mark Beaks, who wants to use the suit to serve his customers’ every mundane whim rather than actually serve as the protector of Duckberg, a methodology Fenton does not agree with much.
After the preceding episode where we got secret agent goodness and bouncing, this was a good lime-in-the-spotlight moment for Fenton, as well as a fun introduction to his mother, with good jokes and a nice plot with a nice beginning, middle, and end. However, I feel like it could’ve benefited as a two-parter rather than a regular 22-minute episode, as this felt rather rushed, especially in the middle. Nonetheless, not a bad episode overall, even though it could have been improved a bit.
Next, after another close call for Lena where she tries to get the Number One Dime, Scrooge places it somewhere for safe keeping until he finds out what’s been tampering with it. And, upon Magica’s heads-up on what that somewhere is, Lena takes Webby dime-searching in...
...THE OTHER BIN OF SCROOGE McDUCK!
Meanwhile, Louie finds out that Huey has been keeping a bigfoot named Tenderfeet in his room for a day now, only to discover that he is actually named Gavin and voiced by Emperor Awesome... and just about as jerkish. The difference is, Gavin is funnier.
This was a great episode, simply put. I loved everything from the pitch-perfect humor (even the Tenderfeet subplot I thought was actually well-handled) to the sprinkled-in dark stuff near the end. Speaking of, if it hadn’t happened after “Jaw$!”, Magica will probably have quickly become your favorite villain in the show when you see just how perfect a mix of laugh-out-loud comical jokester and holy-cow-I-ain’t-touching-that-with-a-thirty-nine-and-a-half-foot-pole terrifying menace she’s become in such a short amount of time in appearances. One of my personal favorites.
Next, Dewey is feeling dejected by the others when they suddenly fly into...
...SKY PIRATES...IN THE SKY!
They sing and dance to Andy Bean and are lead by Don Karnage (voiced by Jaime Camil rather than Jim Cummings like in the original TaleSpin)... whom the others toss off the Iron Vulture in favor of an equally-dejected Dewey after he bonds with them via his hat story. Long story short, another new personal fave with so much great comedy and a great song that’ll be stuck in your head for quite a while. What more need I say about this one.
Sure enough, we head to Scotland to learn about...
...THE SECRET(S) OF CASTLE McDUCK!
The first secret: Scrooge’s parents are alive and voiced by Graham McTavish (also the Saint of Killers from Preacher) and Ashley Jensen. There are more to find, though, as the triplets go on a quest to solve what Dewey believes (but would tell his brothers) to be another clue about Della’s whereabouts, while Scrooge bickers with his father and Webby is on Joy Overload.
Not as good as the last two, but still got a lot of good jokes and a great plot with the triplets as Huey and Louie finally find out about Dewey and Webby’s search for Della. So... still good. But now, we finally get to the big episode of this five-episode recap:
THE LAST CRASH OF THE SUNCHASER!
In this pre-finale episode written by Francisco Angones, everyone sans Donald goes on vacation, only to end up at the top of a mountain dangerously teetering in the sky for their very lives. Easily the darkest until the Shadow War, there’s not as much humor as the others (though it’s still all funny), but it makes up for it with real drama, some good callbacks and a surprising, even devastating revelation that concludes the mystery of Della Duck. Closing out on a somber note, this is nonetheless the perfect episode to lead in to the season finale this Saturday, as well as a perfect episode overall.
On the Season Finale: Magica goes to Hot Topic and Scrooge eats pizza! It’s a lot more exciting than it sounds!

Note
It probably won't make sense, but does anyone else thing the whole Gavin/Tenderfeet situation kinda foreshadowed what would happen between Louie and Della?
Hm...elaborate.

Dewey and Louie Sibling Headcanons:
1) The Disaster Siblings. Left on their own together, there will always be chaos. But fun chaos.
2) End up making a lot movies together for film festivals.
3) In the “Other Bin of Scrooge McDuck” Dewey did not actually love Tenderfeet as much as he said he did;  he just played along with Huey to piss Louie off, to get back at him for using Dewey to do his laundry. Dewey also figured out Gavin’s con and just went along with Louie’s plan as to not make the monster suspicious. Louie does not find this out until a couple of months later and they both agree to never tell Huey. Why break their older brother’s big heart if they don’t have to?
4) Are viciously protective of their whole family, but especially protective of Huey. They’ll make fun of him, prank him, and call him a nerd, but if Huey is in real trouble they will both come running without any hesitation. Tip: Don’t make Louie and Dewey enraged at you at the same time. It will never end well for you.
5) Get into massive prank wars against each other, sometimes so bad that even Uncle Scrooge has to tell them to stop. Huey just watches and puts a 0 on his “Days without Nonsense” Sign
6) “Bet you can’t, bet you won’t, ain’t got no spine” Dewey: *breaks Beakley’s favorite coffee cup* Louie and Dewey: SCREAMING
7) “I’m older than you by forty-eight minutes! You have to listen to me! I have authority over you!” Cue Louie rolling on the floor laughing
8) Their relationship has much more snark and sass mixed in than their gentler relationships with Huey but make no mistake. They love each other just as fiercely as they love Huey. They just show it differently.

Anyways, hopefully soon I will be able to make another short Gavnaris AMV. It’s very hard because there’s not a lot of content and it hasn’t gotten better.
Luckily, you can still see Gavin’s silhouette in the finale! So all hope is not lost. He is still out there!

The Reveal
Lunaris was reading an issue of Vanity Fair in his 1999 Buick Park Avenue while waiting for his lover Gavin to finish his appointment at the clinic. Gavin had been feeling off recently - nauseous, fatigued, with bad smell sensitivity, and uncontrollable mood swings. Lunaris knew that Gavin had been struggling with Seasonal Affective Disorder during the Winter months, but Spring had come now and Lunaris struggled to identify a cause for this sudden change in behaviour. So they had both agreed to drive up to the local walk-in clinic to figure out what was going on. Lunaris decided to wait in the car after Gavin went in, so that he could read his favorite fashion magazine, Vanity Fair. 25 minutes had passed, and he could feel his patience waning.
“He should have been out by now if it was just a cold...” Lunaris muttered. Earth health was still new to the Moonlander, but he had done a plethora of research as part of his commitment to his fiance. He put in a CD of Duran Duran’s “Rio” in the Buick’s CD Player, and tried to hum along in some sort of attempt to pass the time. Seconds ticked by, then minutes, and Lunaris had run out of pages in his magazine. He was considering going into the clinic himself, when suddenly the glass door swung open - Lo and behold, it was Gavin Tenderfeet himself. He looked excited, but nervous at the same time, he was smiling quite apprehensively for the usually-lax fellow that he was. Lunaris rolled down his window. Before he could lean out to address Gavin, Gavin had already made his way around the car to the door and was getting into the shotgun seat beside him. “What took so long?” asked Lunaris - not in an angry way, but with the concern of a tender lover. Gavin grinned as he put on his seatbelt.
“I’ll tell you when you get home - trust me, you’re going to want to drive home first.”
Lunaris was a little nervous at that, but brushed it off. Gavin didn’t look upset, so he decided it was not worth worrying about until later. They drove home singing along to Duran Duran, and enjoying a car ride that was overshadowed by hidden nervousness & excitement in the back of both of their minds. After about 20 minutes, and only one red light that Lunaris accidentally ran, they got home, and he pulled into the gravelly driveway of their suburban house. As they hopped out of the car and Lunaris locked it, he turned to Gavin. “Now will you tell me what’s going on?” He pleaded. Gavin steadied himself, taking a deep breath as he opened their front door. After they had both come into the house, Gavin took Lunaris’ hands in his own and squeezed them once - but didn’t let go. Looking into his favorite person’s beautiful, mysterious eyes, Gavin grinned with tears in his very own eyes.
“Babe... I’m pregnant.”
